Chapter 24: Superiority Complex

With no Spacebridge access, he just left, Soudwave has driven in his Communications Van mode for days from the Lair (Location still unknown) to Nevada. His small minions have been riding in his Van mode and are getting a bit bored.

Frenzy: Are we there yet!?

Rumble: Yeah! 'We there yet!?

Soundwave: Silence!

The Decepticon Communications Officer found the former Cooper Gang safebase. Nothing important was found, but he knew he was getting closer. He then went to the town near the Museum where Carmetlita was kidnapped by Barricade. Barricade had told him what had happened in the whole event, so he drove on the road the cop 'con escaped on, occasionally stopping and letting Laserbeak scan the area. This repeated until the bird found signs of tire tracks that led to a huge, yet hidden cave entrance.

Soundwave: Excellent, Laserbeak.

He navigated through the long cave and walked through the wall that he immediately knew was holographic. He had finally found the Autobot base, yet, no one seemed to be there. He was ready to contact Megatron and send him the coordinations and determined that he was more loyal to his leader than the old rusted Owl bot that was stitched together.

Soundwave: (Calling) Megatron. Megatron. This is Soundwave. I have found and located the Autobot base.

On the other end of the line, maybe thousands of miles away, Megatron was surprised to suddenly be getting a call from Soundwave, as he hadn't heard from him in days.

Megatron: (Calling) Soundwave! Where have you been!? I haven't heard from you in days!? You may be a spy-type, but you are also an important asset to our army and I didn't expect you to be gone for this long.

Soundwave: (Over call) I have finally found the Autobot Base.

Megatron: Really!? Excellent! This will be of great use to us. Now quickly! Send me the coordinates!

Back at the base, before Soundwave followed his leader's orders, he took a good look all around the place, making sure there were absolutely no eavesdroppers.

Megatron: (Over call): Well, I'm waiting!

Soundwave: There are no Autobots anywhere in sight.

Megatron: That's odd. Prime has a lot on his team. But- (Realizes something) Soundwave! Get out of there! NOW!

Most of the Autobots race in and Bulkhead punches him hard, knocking him down. While down, a purple Iguana and a strong panda start attacking his head.

Dimitri: HE'S supposed to be one of 'da villain robots!? Ha! He's a Cassette player with limbs. 'De 80s called, 'de want 'dere product back!

Panda King: You will be a challenge I can beat and feel honorable about it.

Soundwave gets up, knocking the two off of him. Bulkhead attempts to punch him, but he dodges.

Soundwave: Rumble! Frenzy! Ravage! Laserbeak! Eject! Eject! EJECT!

Dimitri: Woah! He lik' a robotic kangaroo!

All of his minions eject from his chest. They try to attack the organics in the room. Two corner Murray. He puts on his new Exo-suit.

Murray: You two seem like the right opponents to rumble with "The Murray"

Frenzy: No, I'm Frenzy. He's Rumble.

Murray: The purple one?

Rumble: No, I'm blue.

Murray (points to Frenzy) So you are Rumble?

Frenzy: NO I AM NOT!

Murray: Aw, screw it! (Charges at Rumble) AAAHHHH!

The Murray puts up a good fight with the duo and beats both of them. Bentley is using his new mech to throw Ravage around. Panda King and Dimitri are shooting their fireworks and laser ring (Don't ask) at Laserbeak. Soundwave himself is showing off really good combat skills and abilities against NINE Autobots (and Coopercus) and really puts up a fight (No wonder he's one of the top Decepticons on Megatron's list), but eventually he is beaten and damaged a ton and decides to retreat out of the base.

Soundwave: (Running) MINIONS! RETREAT!

His small minions are all too hurt by the opposing side to get or catch up. He quickly contacts Megatron while running out of the cave.

Soundwave: (Calls) Megatron! The Autobots found me and I fought well, but they are now after me!

Megatron: (Over call) Quickly! Send the coordinates and we will Spacebridge you back!

At the same time a red jet charges at Soundwave and transforms into an Autobot about to strike at him with her sword.

Soundwave: The coordinates are-(Gets struck)

He is knocked unconscious as everyone comes out.

Acree: Windblade! How was your recon mission in Hawaii?

Windblade: Beautiful! I got into a dogfight with two seekers and one accidentally shot the other down into a Volcano.

Arcee: Okay….. So I'm assuming you've been told we are working with some organics because their leader's bloodline has some interesting history.

Bentley: Uhhh…. Nice to meet you Windblade. Let me ask, there are Autobots capable of flight?

Windblade: Yeah, but most of them are currently on Cybertron, which makes me unique to Optimus Prime's Earth team. But even then, there's a higher ratio of Decepticons with flight abilities.

Coopercus: (To Murray) Can I be upgraded with flight abilities?

Murray: Maybe if you're good this year you will be for Christmas.

Coopercus: What's a Christmas?

They take Soundwave into the base. When he wakes up, he finds himself tied up and his unconscious minions surrounding him and all of the Autobots minus Prime and 5/6 of the current Cooper Gang in front of him.

Wheeljack: Yo! I messed with your head a bit and you can't talk to Megs no more.

Hot Rod: Where is the Decepticon base location!?

Soundwave: I will not speak!

Hot Rod: Very well then.

Rod nods to Wheeljack, who pulls a lever and makes Soundwave realize that he is in front of a Spacebridge portal to the extremely freezing parts of Antarctica. The Autobots start to throw his unconscious minions through the portal, finally he is left.

Hot Rod: Now, are you gonna talk?

Soundwave: Threaten and torture me all you want, but I will always find a way out and in my processor, I will always tell myself: Soundwave superior. Autobots inferior.

Murray: SIC' 'EM BULKY!

Bulkhead punches Soundwave very hard and through the portal and afterwards it closes.

Panda King: That Boxy Metal Giant was most dishonorable.

Prowl: Ah, it didn't matter if we didn't get the location from him. With Prime's plan, we'll have it soon enough.

Soundwave is now trapped in Antarctica. His Minions are down, he can't communicate, it is absolutely freezing. Only time will tell if the Decepticon will be saved.
