Hey look at that another update! I'm doing good so far in doing a monthly update! Let's see how long that last, pretty sure I won't make an October one that's a busy month for me...
Not very happy with this chapter but I got out what would work with me for the time being, so there's that.
"…Uhhh…"
BAM
BAM
BAM
"Fuuuckkk…"
"Lily!"
"Lily, are you alright!?"
BAM
BAM
BAM
"Huggy would you quit s-smashing the door! I won't be able to hear her if you keep doing that!?"
Damn it my leg.
I groaned again clutching my left leg tightly as I curled up into a ball, strongly wishing for the throbbing pain to go down.
From above I could hear something—more likely Huggy—hitting the door, and faintly hearing Bunzo voice calling out.
"God damn it…the fuck!" I cried slowly trying to sit up.
Panting I look around seeing that I'm on the floor of the Musical Memory room. I saw the walkway that I had fallen from had collapsed down making a sharp hill up to the platform. Next to it is one of the poles that held it up laying on the side.
"…" Did it collapse from the sudden use of being used again? "Ergh…!" Winching I look back down at my foot.
Shit…I hope I didn't break it.
"Hey, Lily!"
"!" I snap my head up trying to see the entrance only to see the metal shutter. Guess it really did close.
"Hey guys!" I call back up yelling as loud as I possibly can.
At my voice the pounding on the door came to a halt and I could hear Bunzo speaking much clearer than before.
"Oh, th-thank God!" I could hear the relief in Bunzo's tone. "Are you okay? After the door slam shut we heard you screaming."
"Yeah I'm fine…sort of…" I yelled back "But I injured my left ankle, and I don't know if I broke it or not!"
At that there was a sudden screeching sound and the banging sound pick back up. The intensity of the hits sounded ten times louder than before and I could faintly make out small dents forming on the door.
Well…I can easily guess that Huggy did not in fact like my response and now is trying to smash that door down even harder than before. I just hope he doesn't tear his stiches out…
Faintly I could hear Bunzo cursing before yelling at Huggy.
"Quit pounding at the door! It won't w-work! The damn workers had reenforced it after the s-s-stunt Mommy pulled."
Meanwhile, as the two were arguing, I untied my shoe carefully pulling it off with a hiss and pulling my sock off.
Having a clearer look at my foot I can see that it's a bit red and swollen around the ankle. Hesitating for a moment I rolled my foot around with a hiss, but I kept going. Wiggling my toes, moving my foot up and down.
So far it doesn't look or feel broken, I thought probing around my ankle to feel if anything is off.
Carefully getting back on my feet I almost stumble from the sharp pain that went through my leg.
"Shit!" I cursed under my breath but kept pushing forward. Putting some light pressure on the foot and did a little walk with a limp and avoiding any of the sharp glass that's on the ground.
Once I've completed my examination on my foot, I quickly put my sock and shoe back on with some trouble. After loosening the strings to the shoe, a bit before tying it back up I cup my hands over my mouth to yell back up at the two idiots who are still yelling at each other.
"Would you two knock it off! I'm fine!" I yelled waiting a moment for their yelling to come to a stop.
"Are you sure, Lily?"
"Yeah! I check over my foot, luckily from what I'm feeling it's not broken. Though I think I probably twisted my ankle or something."
"That's good to hear." Bunzo said "Anyway, Lily, due to us not being able to get the door open we won't be able to help you out."
"Even if you could, there wouldn't be away for you to pull me up."
The drop was very far, and I remember it being much taller than Huggy who stands around 17 feet tall. Even if they could open the door the option to pull me up is Huggy holding his hands down and I use the Grab-Pack. If we did that it's a guarantee that his stiches will tear and probably rip a bigger hole in his arm. So, that idea is definitely out of the question. And looking around, I can't see anything else that would help, no stairs or a back door there's nothing down here but trash.
"I know, however there is a w-way to leave the room."
"There is?"
"Yes, I don't know if you r-remember it or not but there is a-a vent on the floor, big enough for you to go through. I-If you go through that it'll lead you to a room the workers called the rejected room. From there you can easily make your w-way out and back to Game Station."
After hearing his explanation, I nodded my head yelling back that I'll meet them on the other side then. Once hearing their replies, I look around the room trying to find the vent Bunzo was talking about.
Not seeing it around me I slowly walked around till I found the said vent. Walking up to it then crouching down I use both of my hands to lift the gate up, moving it to the side. Getting back down to my hands and knees I flicked on the flashlight seeing the vent go further down.
"Guess this is the right vent…"
A room that holds all the rejected toys. When Bunzo mention it I felt like I knew what he was talking about. We might have been in there a couple of times if it was attached to his game room. It's possible we might have gotten stuck on the floor and had to find a way out and stumble upon it.
"Well…no time to waste, let's see what this room looks like."
Once in I begin to crawl my way through the vent.
"…How far do I need to go?" I mumble making a right turn.
Okay…so, I don't have a phobia in being in small tight places, but if I had to keep crawling in places like these and it ends up a maze of twist and turns I might develop one later down the line.
After what felt like almost five minutes of crawling through the twisted tunnels vents, I saw light up head making me think I'm almost at the end. Making a right turn my eyes widen at the sight I saw before me.
"Wow…"
To be honest, I didn't know what to except when find this room, but it sure wasn't a warehouse kind of room! When Bunzo call it the reject it room I was first thinking of a small size version to what I'm seeing. Then again with how massive Playtime is I really shouldn't be all that surprised by what I'm seeing.
Almost every row of shelves is stacked full of all sorts of items. Floors in a mess with toys scattered around the ground some shelves have been knocked over. And is that a giant crane that I'm seeing attached to the wall?
Maybe it's used to pick things up on the higher shelves.
"I know the others are waiting for me…but I kinda want to see what in here." Looking down I see a decent drop to the floor and unfortunately for me there is nothing to help is my fall.
"Great…" I sigh.
If my leg wasn't broken before this drop would definitely finish the job. Maybe there's a crate nearby that I could use. A quick look around the room seeing if there is anything nearby that I could grab and sadly there was nothing.
With a groan of defeat, I turn my body around so my feet will go out first. Carefully lower myself as far as I can with my hands clutching on to the edge, I look down to see how far the drop is now.
Okay…
It's…not bad, but not great either…
Kinda regretting not test if the Grab-Pack would have been a better choice in helping me down. Too late now.
Taking a couple of deep breaths, I let go of the vent and fell down with a thud. The pain the shot up both my legs had me cursing out in pain as I fell down on my back clutching my left leg again.
"Son of a bitch!" I groan rubbing above my ankle. "This is going to be a massive pain if I have to keep doing stunts like this."
With another groan I crawled over to one of the shelves using it to help me get back up on my feet.
"Okay then…" With on final deep breath, I let go of the bar and look around the warehouse now that I'm on the floor. "There sure is a lot of stuff in here."
It would seem that Bunzo was probably right about us being in here as it does look familiar. Of course, I'm sure the last time I was here more things might have been added to the room.
Limping around the room, I came to a pause upon seeing a cutout of Bron the Dinosaur. It is a picture of him sitting in a cart and using his tail to hold up an 'X' sign and a big red button with a caption saying, 'PRESS HERE'.
"Oh! Is it the same as Bunzo's?" Walking up to it I pushed the button hearing a goofy like voice coming out of the speaker.
"Wana hear a dino joke? Click once for the question and click again for the punchline!"
"Uh…sure?" I said pressing the button again.
"What do you call a dino with one eye?"
I…actually don't know. Come to think of it I don't think I ever heard this joke before. Maybe I should find out, if it's good I'll probably try to remember and pass it along Ashely younger brother. I know he loves these types of jokes; he'll probably get a kick out of it.
"A 'Do you think he saur us?' *laugh*"
"…Funny." I mutter. It's not a bad joke but not something that would make me laugh in particular.
Tilting my head to the side I begin to wonder if there's any more voice lines on here. I never did get the chance to check out Bunzo's cutout.
"Let's see…"
"What do you call a dinosaur who's a noisy sleeper?"
"A 'Tyranno-snore-us' *laugh*"
"Is it all jokes?"
"What do you call the scariest dinosaur?"
"Me…"
"…"
That's…not reassuring in the least giving what I've seen so far in this factory. "The cutout sounds goofy, but I don't know about the real thing."
Most of the jokes beside the last one kinda sounded similar to those dads joke that uncle loves to pull on me. A lot of them weren't very funny but he did have some good ones from time to time. I don't think I want to know if there are any more of those jokes on this cutout, so I think I'll just move on ahead.
If I remember right there was a hallway on the other side of the of the room. Walking past the cutout to the end of the hall, I look down to see three brown circle toys with hats on them. Bending down to pick one up, I look over the toy.
"It almost looks like a Humpty Dumpty toy. Is this Playtime version of it?" Putting the toy done I look up and saw some wooden planks. "Oh, I could use these!"
I could use them to make some sort of brace for my ankle to help ease the pain a bit. It's a shame that I won't be able to properly help my leg, but there's not much of a choice that I have here.
When I found two decent size planks I sat down taking my shoe off, before digging into my bag pulling out my aid kit. Grabbing the gauze, I then proceed to try and tape the planks around my leg to the best that I can. It would have been easier if I had an extra set of hands, probably could have waited till I got back to the others.
Oh well.
Once secured, I put everything away and carefully put my shoe back on. "That's a bit better now. Not the best but it'll do."
Now with that out of the way, it's time for me to start looking for that exist. When I look over I saw something from above my head. Looking up I saw the big crane that I had seen earlier before jumping down in the room. I can see the tracks on the ceiling that look like the go around the warehouse so my first thought about it being used to grabbing the toys or boxes here are probably correct.
Looking back down I saw some colorful crates stack up in the middle of the hall, I couldn't help but huff in annoyance. "Would have been nice if those were a bit closer to the vent."
Walking around it I almost let out a scream of fright jump back behind the crates at what I saw.
What the actual hell!?
Was that Bron?
Peaking my head out, looking a bit closer at the giant toy that is just standing there in the middle of the hallway. It was indeed a giant Bron toy or maybe a statue? It doesn't look like it is possibly alive or anything. Carefully moving closer to it, I examine the toy looking at the red stains covering it.
I don't want to make assumptions if this is blood or not and I'm sure as hell am not touching it to find out. The Bron statue defiantly doesn't look alive, but it is very creepy looking especially when I notice it's missing its eyes.
Empty eye sockets with a big cheery smile on their face. I guess that cutout had a point about it being the 'scariest dinosaur'. That thing is a nightmare fuel.
Shivering I made my way around the statue to continue on my path, I could see the upper floor, but I just need to find the stairs to get up there. If it weren't for some of the shelves or the knock down crates I could have just climbed up there instead.
"Oh, found it!"
With a bit of a spring in my steps I quickly made my way up the stairs taking note of the outlet that is used to charge the green hand. It seems to be turned off so there's must be a switch to turn it on but what would I need it for?
Looking over I saw another—cleaner—Bron statue standing on some platform that leads to the exit that I was looking for. The floor up is a bit higher than expected and I'm not sure I can easily jump up and try to pull myself up there. I might need something to give me a boost.
"Hmmm…." Glancing over I saw a tv sitting on a stand and a control panel with a switch on the side. Looks like I might need to find a tape for that if there is one here. Walking over to the panel I saw a sign hanging from above that said 'Power'. "Is this what turns on that outlet?"
Pulling the lever, I heard something turning on, with a glance at the outlet and seeing it lit up, I guessed the switch is what I needed but I also could have sworn I heard another sound in the distance.
Humming I look back over to the Bron statue and having strong debate if I just want to go ahead and find a way to climb up instead of looking for what that outlet is needed for.
Wait…hang on…
"How did I miss this?"
When I was looking at Bron I saw a red button on the wall. Curious I walked over to it "What does this do?" Pushing the button, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, with a quick look I saw the platform that Bron is on is lifting up. "Oh! So that's how I can get up."
But then I heard a loud buzzing sound and the platform coming back down before it could reach its full height.
"What the…" Looking back up to see the black screen just above the button lighting up with bold red words glowing on the screen.
WARNING
WEIGHT CAPACITY
REACHED
"Okay…Guess that means I need to find a way to move that Bron statute in order to use the platform."
That crane I saw earlier could help, but that means I'll need to drag it around the whole warehouse just to bring it here. And I guess that outlet is used to make that crane to lower down. That's just too much work, I could just go grab one of those crates I saw and help give me a boost to climb on top of Bron and making a jump to the other side. Not to mention that tape I want to find, it might have some more information about this place.
"Alright, let's find the tape first then go and grab that box." I mutter walking back down the stairs to hunt for that tape.
Searching just about every shelf that I could find I came to a pause upon seeing a certain toy that has caught my eye.
"What's this?" Picking it up, I look it over. These toys almost remind me of those monkeys in a barrel toy, but instead of monkey's they are made in the shape of Huggy Wuggy.
"How cute." I smiled down at them "But why are they in the rejected section?"
One look at the paper written on the shelf had answered my question.
Rejected item:
Barrel o' Huggy's
Reason for rejection:
Choking Hazard
Children tried to eat
from the barrel
thinking it was candy.
"Wait…kids thought this was candy?" I ask out in disbelief looking down at the little Huggy's. "What age range did you test them on? Oh, whatever!"
Even though I'm alone in this room and this place is sort of abandoned, I still couldn't help but to look around my surroundings before shoving the toys in a side pocket of my bag.
"Not like anyone would be missing these~." I hummed and continue my search for the tape.
After some time, I was able to find it hiding away on the topple over shelves in the back end of the room. Grabbing it I quickly made my way back to the crates, using the Grab-Pack I launch it up to the blue box pulling it down. I jump back a bit when something extra fell down with it.
"What's this?"
It seems there was a small box that was filled with random stuff an actual Bron gold statue and some scrape toy ideas. However, there was one in particular that caught my eye. Picking it up I saw it was a concept art design for Mommy Long Legs. It looks much different than the real one that I saw.
The eyes were much bigger, and it is wearing some short overalls and a t-shirt. The only thing that is the same compared to the living one is her bangs and her hair being tied up. Granted this one's hair is a bit messier. It's a nice design, but I can see why I was rejected. This toy doesn't really look like a 'mother' compared to the other it had a more of a child like appearance to it.
"Still, it would have been interesting to see in person though." Putting the paper back down I got up, grabbing the crate and made my way back to the tv to put the tape in the player. The screen lit up showing an image of a toy that I had seen and a familiar voice speaking out.
"Well, it finally happened. After years of being ignored, the company actually hear all my complaints!"
"Wait…is that Rich? It sounds like him."
"Yup, they listened, very carefully. I guess my words really inspired them to take action, because the next day I get demoted down here. To the freaking island of misfit toys!"
After that yell, I could hear him angrily throwing something out of anger.
"Why do I talk to myself…?"
Was the last line Rich said before the tape came to an end.
"Guess…it was a follow up tape about him." I mutter looking around the tv to see the warehouse. "I remember a tape of him complaining about stuff to his coworker, it's a shame that he got demoted because of that."
Picking the crate back up I walk back over to the platform, placing it in front of the way before stepping on it. I have enough height to give me a boost up but if I can get the platform to rise a bit more that would be better.
Using the Grab-Pack to hit the button with platform began to rise a little, and before it could come back down I was able to hop on the ledge with my upper body lying on the ground. With a grunt I managed to pull my right leg up then used that to help me fully crawl into the hallway.
"There we go! Much better than dragging that crane!"
Walking down the hallway, I recalled Bunzo saying to should lead me back to the Game Station. When I went to turn the corner, I heard panic yelling up ahead.
"The heck?"
"Huggy would you s-slow down!"
"Guys?" I called poking my head around the corner to see Huggy examining the gate and Bunzo hoping up to him from behind.
When Bunzo caught up to Huggy he looks through the gate, there was a form of relief in his eyes upon seeing me. "Oh, Lily! I'm glad to see you've gotten out okay!" He said.
"Yeah, and I'm glad to see the both—" I was cut off by the sudden screeching sound of Huggy ripping the gate off the wall with a loud growl and throwing it to the side.
"Wow, Huggy!" I yelp jumping back a bit at the loud sound.
"Really?" Bunzo sighed with a palm to his face, as Huggy jumped down the ledge and quickly ran up to me.
"Hey, wait! Huggy, don't!" I tried to get away from him, but Huggy wouldn't let that happen as he scooped me up in his arms and hugged me really tight.
So tight that I could feel my ribs crying out in protest.
"Can't…breath…!"
With that prompt, Huggy quickly place me back on the ground leaving me to struggle in getting my breath back. I really didn't want to test out if he could follow up on his catchphrase of 'squeezing you until you pop' but it turns out he most likely can!
"Geeze, Huggy." I panted "I understand your worried about me but please remember your strength."
A pained whimper came out of Huggy's mouth and the next thing I knew I was being forced to sit on the ground, watching as Huggy torn off my socks and shoes along with my makeshift brace.
"Wha-Hey, Huggy!"
"It would be for th-the best, if you let him."
Bunzo said hoping down from the ledge, walking over to us.
"You didn't see hi-his face when he heard yo-you were hurt." He looks over to Huggy, who is lightly poking around my ankle. I let out a small hiss and Huggy's hand flinched back a bit before lightly rubbing my leg in apology, before continuing his examination of my leg. "It wasn't easy chasing after him, nor trying to-to get him to calm down to a-a degree."
"I see…" I said looking back down when feeling my sock being put back on. "Sorry about that."
Bunzo shook his head. "It's nothing you sh-sh-should apologize for. I would have done the same as w-well."
Huggy tapped my leg drawing my attention to him to see him holding the thin wooden planks around my leg. He gave the indication of want me to hold them in place.
"Oh, sure."
Holding them, Huggy picks up the wrapping and rewraps them around my leg doing a much better job than I did in the beginning. Once that is done he put my shoe back on but left me to redo the strings to it.
Helping me back on my feet, Huggy look over to Bunzo letting out some grunts and clicking noise. Bunzo on his part nodded along before he looks over to him.
"Huggy, s-say's that your leg isn't broken, just sprain."
"That's…good to know." I had a hunch myself when I look it over but how does he know? I spoke my thoughts aloud to Huggy, watching as he repeated his actions back to Bunzo.
Bunzo head twitch upon hearing whatever Huggy had told him, making me wondering what he heard.
"Huh, didn't know you knew all that."
"Know what?" I asked.
"Well…Huggy here said his very kn-knowledgeable on the human autonomy a-a-and would know what a broken bone looks like."
"Huh."
That is…some very interesting news to hear. It does make me wonder who Huggy was before, I did try to ask but he doesn't want to tell me.
"Well, besides knowing we have some form of medic on our side, we should get going. We've wasted enough time here and I don't know how long Mommy plans to wait on us."
"Good point." Bunzo nods before moving back over to the ledge. "We're not far from the main entrance, so just follow me."
"Right."
Huggy and I walk behind him watching as Bunzo just hop on the top of the ledge with no problems. I guess he has more rabbit traits in him then I realized. When I got closer I saw two poles and an outlet for the green hand to be used on. I guess if I didn't run into them sooner I would be trying to figure out this little puzzle in getting the platform to go up.
Geeze, just how the hell did these workers even tried to manage this place, I'd would be asking for one hell of a pay raise with all the headaches I've gone through to figuring out the puzzles here. Just who even green lit these ideas, anyways?
"Wow!" I let out a surprise sound when Huggy just suddenly pick me up, placing me onto the upper floor. Bunzo had grabbed my shoulders when I stumble for a second there. "Thanks for the lift, Huggy!"
He nods his head before getting himself up there. Once up, Bunzo nods his head to the side giving the indication for us to follow him. As we were walking I'd ask him if he knew what the other two games are. I could only faintly remember hitting something with the Grab-Pack and some game close to the 'Red light, Green light' game.
"The next two games you'll be playing are call Wack-A-Wuggy and S-s-statues."
Wack-A-Wuggy and Statues…
The first game almost sounds similar to whack a mole game that can be played at an arcade. It's something I'm familiar with, but I doubt it'll be easy compared to the other game. Musical Memory alone sounds easy, till you realize the consequences if you mess up. Though hearing the word Wuggy had me remembering those little versions of Huggy Wuggy.
Am I going to go up against them?
And if I remember correctly there were eighteen of them.
Statues on the other hand…I can't think of any games that I know of that would help me in figuring out what I would be up against.
"The Wack-A-Wuggy…if I'm remembering right, I'll be playing against mini colorful versions of Huggy, correct? There were about eighteen of them."
A somber look appeared on both their faces.
"What? What wrong?"
Did I say something bad? I don't think I did.
"No, it's n-nothing you've s-said. It's just almost elven years ago when Mommy attack some of the workers, the little Huggy's came to her defense…some of lost their l-lives in the process."
"…" My steps came to a halt upon the news. Huggy and Bunzo also stop in their tracks looking over to me. When those words left Bunzo mouth a sudden sharp pain of sadness hit me in the chest.
The images of me playing with those Huggy's filled my mind of all the little adventures we would have and the pranks we've pulled on the workers, and just the thought that some of them won't be there…that I won't be able to see them again after all this time…it's a painful thought to have.
'Tag your it, Ace!'
'Hey what do you say we go prank Dr. Johnson?'
'Let's go build a fort out of these pillows and blankets!'
'Let's see who can climb the tree the fastest!'
"…" I bit the inside of my check to stop the tears from forming. "I…see…that's…sad to hear…" I hugged myself in attempt to self-comfort.
It's a bit strange to have this sudden amount of sadness going through me, I haven't seen them in a long time but the memories that I have of them…it's upsetting that I won't be able to see them all together again.
"Lily…"
I blink in shock upon feeling the both of them hugging me in comfort as I struggled to keep the tears at bay, but with them suddenly hugging me and the memories rolling in my mind. It didn't take long for the dam to break, and my tears start rolling down my checks.
The betrayal I feel towards my uncle from all the lies he told me growing up, my missing memories finally coming back after so long and finding out the reason they're gone is probably something my uncle did to me.
The fear I felt upon being chased by my dear old friend who didn't recognize me at first, having the thoughts that I could possibly die if I didn't get away from him in time. And worrying about whether or not if Poppy is okay with Mommy's looming threat to kill my friends and taking me to the 'Prototype'.
And hearing the news that some of my friends are dead because they were helping Mommy out in finding me. Not knowing who is still alive and who is not is just a painful thought that we might never get to play again like we used to all those years ago.
I know it's not my fault that this has happened, but a part of me feels like if I had not left if I had just fought a little bit harder that day. Maybe…just maybe they would still be here and not…dead, not knowing if I was okay or not.
All I could do is just cry at the unfairness of everything. And knowing that this is just the tip of the iceberg, that there will be more to come whether I'll be ready for it or not, and that there might not be a way for me to stop it.
"You f-feeling better?"
"…Kinda" I sniffle rubbing the last tears from my eyes. "Sorry about that. Didn't mean to have a breakdown."
The two of them look at each other before looking at me with a shake of their heads. Huggy reach an arm out to pat me on top of my head.
"Don't be, Lily. It really sounded l-like you needed that c-cry, like you were holding in a lot of things."
"You would be right…" I mutter looking down. "Still…thanks for comforting me and sorry for the worry. Can't make any promises it won't happen again."
"It's not a problem. And if you ev-ever feel the need to cry just know th-that we'll be there for you, right?" Bunzo look over to Huggy whom nods his head in agreement.
"Thanks guys." I smiled up at them before getting back up from the ground. Sniffling one last time I look down the hall to see a busted door laying on the ground and a metal chair poking out from behind. "…Not to change to the topic or anything, but…does someone want to explain the busted door over there."
It practically screams Huggy's handy work. To which said doll is now avoiding eye contact and Bunzo letting out an exhausted sigh.
"T-To summarize…we were trying to open the door but found it lock. Huggy here didn't waste a single second in punching the door down, and instead o-of holding back he used his full strength which blew the whole door out."
"Oh…"
You know…I'm kinda glad that Huggy is on my side.
Huggy huffed with a grumble, probably with something along the lines of 'at least the door is unlocked'.
"Right…Well, do those stairs lead us back to the station?"
"Yes, actually!" Bunzo perk up before walking over to the stairs with us following from behind. "It leads back to the hallway in between the Game Station and my playroom.
"That so…"
Walking up the stairs didn't help my sore ankle in the least but thankfully the climb wasn't very long. Coming up to the open doorway, I raised a brow at the blood stains splatter across the wall. I don't know why I'm a bit surprised to see it, probably because the whole walk here, this is the only bloodstain I came across.
Stepping out into the hall, I can see the staircase right next to the door that leads up to the Game Station, the giant hole in front that leads to the glove making machine and on the left are the confusing shutters leading to Bunzo's room.
"Huh…" I hummed looking back to the doorway were we came from. "Well…at least I know where that door leads."
So that mean Rich would have to come down here every day to work in the Reject Room. He would have to see Mommy moving around and possibly Bunzo too. I don't think Rich might have known what's going on behind the scenes of this place, but I guess the higher up must have trusted him enough to be exposed to them, when going to his new work place.
Unless of course there was another way to get into that room…but I don't think I saw another door during my search for the tape. I could ask Bunzo about him, but I don't want to waste more time then we already have. If I didn't have my break down I might have squeezed in that question.
Stepping back into the Game Station, I heard a faint beeping noise coming from the platform where the train is at.
"Is that the game panel flashing?" Huggy shrugged at me and Bunzo look confused. "Guess we'll go and see."
Heading over there, finding out it was indeed the game panel making the noise. The middle light is flashing a red color with an annoying beeping sound.
"Guess this means, I can pull this switch down now."
With a hard tug of both of my hands, I managed to pull the lever down hearing a musical sound before hearing Stella Greyber speaking through the mics again. Congratulations me on winning the game.
"Whoa! You did fantastic! Who gave you permission to be this smart? *giggles* Mommy is super proud of you!"
Yeah…I guess she is…
"But I'm sure she's already told you that herself."
Oh, she did…had a nice way of showing it too.
"Our next game is Wack-A-Wuggy! Head downstair and have fun!"
With a click the speaker shut off then follow by a loud sound of lights turning on. Looking to my right to see a bulletin board little up and the same loud sound of a door opening.
"Well…guess it's time to play Wack-A-Wuggy." I said with the others nodding in agreement. Walking over to the stair case I look down before looking back at my companions. "Let's hope we don't have much trouble down here…you guys ready?"
With a hop in his step Bunzo nodded "R-Ready when you are!"
A grunt of agreement came out of Huggy's mouth.
"Alright, let's go get that next train code!"
Getting to the bottom of the staircase I notice that unlike Bunzo hallway, here in the Wack-A-Wuggy, it a clear shot to it. No gates or holes or even a stray toy could be found.
"Wow…already off to a good start." I hummed looking over at the art work on the walls. "Why did it have to be your hallway that we have to make some many detours."
"Don't ask me!" Bunzo huffed "Ask the people who built it."
"Are they even alive?" I asked with a raised brow.
"Who knows. Maybe, maybe not." He shrugged.
"How reassuring…" I mutter stepping into the main room of the game. However, once I step in a loud clang is heard along with a surprise shout. "Wha-!?"
Turning around I look at the entrance in disbelief upon seeing a metal shutter blocking me from the others, trapping me in the room.
"What—NO!?"
With the door shut between us, I'm now alone in this room on my own with whatever challenge that awaits me. And I can't know for sure if the Huggy's here will play nice with me or not.
"Shit!"
This cannot be happening right now!
Hehe, pretty sure some of you are surprise at this ending. I actually had plans of having them in there as well but as I work on the chapter I thought this was a better decision mainly because I can see Mommy not wanting a repeat back in Musical Memory.
Also I need a bit of help for the next chapter. I already have an outline out and have work on some of it. (At the part when Lily is starting the game) but I don't know what to do for the game. There's not much to do about it compared to Musical Memory or Statues. I have debating on writing a small scene and just skipping to the end or having a conversating between Mommy and Lily as she plays the game. If you have an ideas of what to do for the game scene let me know. I'm also going to add a quick note that there won't be any memory scene in this chapter.
And last on the news! April update will be late, mainly because this weekend (March 1-3) I'm helping my sister and her boyfriend move out of the house and they'll probably need next weekend too. And the following weekend after that I'll be out of town to help another family member to pack up for their move which will leave me March 16-17 being the only weekend I have a break as the weekend after that I have cupcakes to make for my niece birthday and March 30-April 6 I'll also be out of town.
Keep in mind that I do have a job M-F and I don't get back home late so there is only so much free time that I have to work on the next chapter, luckily I already have half of it written up but again this month is going to be VERY busy for me. I'm also working on another story that will be posted later this month, but don't worry it's something that's on the low end of my priority of things this chapter is only going to have 10 chapters and will be updated whenever as this story is my main focus.
The only reason I'm working on another story as this is something I've always wanted to do for a long time and since the squeal of that game has come out I can official do the squeal to the story that I've done for it.
And for a heads up the next update to this series is going to be the Side Story it'll be the last update for a while since this story is almost done and I want to finish it this year before going to add more to the side story.
So with that in mind of everything going on I have a (bsky).(app) (remove the parenthesis) account (ayumixrose).(bsky).(social) where I'll be posting any artwork and sneak peaks of future chapters along with any updates regarding the story. If you want to know when the next chapter will be updated feel free to take a look over there I'm not very active over there but I pop in every now and then. This way I can avoid doing any A/N notes.
8 chapters done we only have 7 more to go!
