Prologue
A Chance at Redemption
The Doom Dimension, the Bakugan Graveyard as many have called it, where Bakugan that have been slayed are laid to rest in darkness and despair. Many that have entered this horrible dimension have had their energy drained away and become husks of their former selves but those with much power remain longer to wonder this barren wasteland such was the case of one certain Bakugan.
Walking among the rocky terrain was a black and purple dragon with neo green markings and spikes on his chest and legs; this was Darkus Dharak, once guardian Bakugan to Emperor Barodius Leader of Gundilia. In the beginning Dharak was thought to be the strongest Bakugan of all time, he was a fool to believe that, and what did that thinking get him…here. It was for the best anyway after what he did, he killed his trusted comrades and his best friend and it ended with him being mutated into a destructive monster of rage and bloodlust called Razenoid. The only positive to being in this wasteland is that he was changed back to his original form which allowed him to clear his mind and realize all the horrible things he's done.
"The only wish I want now is that this world takes my life already" Dharak said looking over the barren landscape before him
Suddenly out of nowhere a bright light then lit up the sky of the Doom Dimension which caused Dharak to close his eyes as to not go blind.
"What…What is this!?" Dharak shouted
Dharak then opened his eyes slightly to see what was going on, once he did he saw that he was no longer in the Doom Dimension, instead he found himself in a white void with what looks like white clouds rolling over the ground. Looking around the area he couldn't help but be confused by all this, why was here, who brought him here and was he alone?
"What is going on here, what is this?" Dharak said to himself, trying to come up with a reason for this
"Dharak?" a voice said behind him…a familiar voice at that
He didn't want to turn around, he most certainty didn't want to; he knew whose voice this is and couldn't bring himself to look at them.
"Is that you?" the voice asked making Dharak tremble with fear
Slowly he turned his head slightly around to see if it is who he thought it was, and to his shock and horror it was who he thought it was.
"Lythirus"
Sure enough it was Dharak's most loyal follower and his close friend, Aquos Lythirus, still looking like a mix between an insect and a crustacean.
"What are doing here, I thought you died Lythirus" Dharak asked to figure out how he's dead friend was here
"Yeah no thanks to you!" a another familiar voice said
Looking up Dharak was greeted by another dead and betrayed comrade, Ventus Strikeflier, and once the winged samurai landed on the ground alongside him was his Pyrus samurai comrade and close friend, Krakix.
"Krakix…Stikeflier but how?" Dharak asked, all his guilt and anxiety rising up in his chest
"Maybe it's punishment for what you did, Dharak and seems pretty fitting as well" said another familiar voice, much to Dharak's horror
Walking out of clouds came another familiar Bakugan, one that suffered something worse than death, the loss of his partner.
"Lumagrowl" Dharak said
Sure enough the six tailed wolf stepped forward, barring his teeth at Dharak and growled, anger flowing off of him.
"I don't understand! Why are you all here, is this really punishment for what I had done to you all…being reminded of my sins!?" Dharak shouted shutting his eyes not wanting to see his betrayed comrades
"Trust me, you deserve worse for what you have done" a another voice said
'No…not him' Dharak thought, already knowing who this is
Opening his eyes, Dharak found the last member of the Twelve Order, Sabator, one of the few Bakugan that came close to defeating him and stopping all of this from happening. Looking at the Minotaur Bakugan he saw the fury in his eyes already knowing that it was directed at him and for good reason after all he tried to kill him more times than anyone here.
"I don't understand, why are you here…why!" Dharak shouted
"I can answer that" a new voice said, one that was unfamiliar to everyone here
Looking up at the sky, everyone saw a figure flying above them. Once the Bakugan descended to meet them they saw a dragon Bakugan with elegant wings and pure white scales.
"Who…who are you" Dharak asked, voicing everyone's thoughts
"My name is Wavern and I'm the one who brought you all here" the Bakugan said
"But why, why bring us back…especially me?" Dharak asked
"Simple, I have looked into your lives, each and every one of you, and saw good qualities that were tainted by Barodius and I have decided to give you all second chance at life" Wavern said
"What?! Even him?!" Lumagrowl said growling at Dharak
"He's the last person that should get a second chance at life!" Stikeflier said
"He betrayed us, even me…your best friend!" Lythirus said, sounding like he was sobbing
"What makes you think you deserve a second chance Dharak?!" Sabator asked
The Darkus Bakugan was then silent for a long time, everyone waiting for a response from their former leader. Everyone was expecting a grand speech or some sort of retort about them being weak or worst…saying he can defeat Drago. Never the less they were expecting the same obnoxious, cold hearted and arrogant Bakugan from the past!
"…I don't"
…Everyone was stunned; here they were expecting a prideful remark but instead Dharak just flat out said no. Everyone could only look in shock at the Bakugan before; in fact he didn't even seem like Dharak anymore he seemed like a new Bakugan all together.
"I don't deserve a second chance…after what I've done" Dharak said, causing everyone to have their attention on him.
"I am the last Bakugan that deserves a second chance, I betrayed my friends, I ruined so many lives for both Gundalia and Neathia and worst yet I enjoyed it…I thought because I was the strongest I could do whatever I wanted and no one can stop me…but I was blind to my actions and ignored my consequences and look what happened…I don't expect forgiveness…I honestly expect you all to send me back to the Doom Dimension where I belong but before I do let me say one thing."
Next thing that Dharak did was so out of character for the dragon Bakugan that it shocked the others so much…Dharak then bowed his head to the five…tears welling up in his eyes…and said two words.
"I'm sorry"
Everyone was silent; staring at the being before them, gone was the prideful Dharak, now bowing before them was now a new Dharak…one that truly regretted his choices and wanted to suffer for it. This was not their leader…and maybe that was for the best…a fresh new start for them all…a chance to maybe change themselves for the better after all they all have something they regret. So with a silent nod among the five of them they then turned back to Dharak.
"Rise your head Dharak" Sabator said surprising Dharak he looked back at his former comrades
"It's clear that you are no longer the same Dharak before, you truly have changed and for the better" Strikeflier added
"So…maybe we can forgive and start over…as friends" Lythirus finished
Hearing all this Dharak then started sob and tear up, feeling his friend's kindness touch his heart. He couldn't hold back his sadness anymore he then burst into tears and sobbed out loud and to further his crying Lythirus then laid a claw on his back to comfort him. It took several minutes but Dharak was able to pull himself together and turn back to Wavern.
"Please Wavern, how will this work most people hate us for what we have done?" Dharak asked
"That why your new lives will take place…in a new world" she said shocking everyone
"What!"
Suddenly six crystal orbs appeared in front of the each bakugan, each of them showing the planet Earth but something seemed…different about it .
"As you can see this will be your new home but don't be fooled by the outward appearance this Earth is much different than the one you're used to" Wavern said, "the main one being that the human populace never encountered Bakugan in their lives" she said surprising them
Suddenly the orbs images then shifted and started to zoom in on the alternate earth.
"To help you adjust to this new world; I have picked out some new human partners to help you in your journey" Wavern said
On Sabator's orb he was greeted by a young human boy, with a blond and brown colored hair and brown eyes. As for his attire he was wearing a black t-shirt with a brown puffy vest, light brown cargo pants and hiking boots. Currently the young human was helping an older human male with black long hair and blue eyes by passing out water bottles to other young ones.
"Sabator your new partners will be Tristain Argo, a young boy with an iron will and a kind heart" Wavern said as the orb changed pictures, now showing Tristan walking out of a small house with a duffel bag slung over his shoulders.
At the doorway of the house Sabator could see another human male that bared a striking similarity to Tristan and was shouting at him but Tristan just ignored him.
"You see, Tristan lived in a very bad household that treated him horribly all because of the monster known as his father. He's father treated him like trash and spat on his dreams of helping those who are unfortunate but his fathers wanted him to be like him and follow in his footsteps, and when Tristan refused he's father disowned him which forced him to leave and live with his uncle and aunt" Wavern explained
Hearing this Sabator then growled with angry already hating the so called "Father" to his new partner but at the same time impressed by the boys iron clad will to stand up to his father.
"A strong one this Tristan, remains me a lot of Nurzak" Sabator said
As for Lythirus he's orb showed him a female human with short black hair that reached her neck, violet colored eyes and tan colored skin. Her attire consisted of ocean blue tube top, black booty shorts and light blue tennis shoes.
"Lythirus, your new partner is Ruth Fisher, a mellow girl that knows when to be wild and when to be calm, I figured someone like this might help with your…issues" Wavern said
The orb then changed images to show Ruth at a party of sorts at some one's home and was having the time of her life but the image then changed again this time showing Ruth struggling against a young human male who seemed to trying to take her clothes off but didn't let him.
"Ruth was once what you call a party animal, always going to parties and going wild but not to wild mind you. She used to have best time of life during these times…but during one party it kind of put her life into perspective. During one such party she was approached by a young boy who had some rather disgusting intentions with her but luckily she didn't let him try, since that day she decided to mellow out a bit so that she won't fall for that again."
Looking at his soon to be new partner, Lythirus couldn't help but feel sorry for her after all a pretty girl like that doesn't deserve to be hurt like that. Sure he was known to be a little crazy but he wasn't insane and defiantly won't do that to a female that was below even him.
"Ruth…I promise to protect her with this new life I have" Lythirus said which made Wavern smile
With Krakix and Stirkeflier they observed there orb and was greeted not one but two young human boys that looked similar to each other. Both boys had the same hair that being brown and the same skin color being white but there eyes was different with one being red and the other being green. Also they did their hair differently with the red eyed one having short spiky hair and the green eyed one having a small ponytail that reached the top of his neck. Red eyed boy wore a red hoodie with orange flame patterns, black jeans with red flame patterns and white canvas shoes with…yes flame patterns. The green eyed human wore a grey t-shirt, a green button up shirt over it, blue sweatpants and black running shoes. The two boys are seen watching a movie that looked to about samurai's and seemed to be enjoying their time until the orb's image shifted to show the two boys, meditating in a dojo.
"Krakix, Strikeflier your new partners will be the twins, Marco and Flynn Bluster" Wavern said, "The red eyed one is Marco and Flynn is the green eyed one. The two boys have been brought up with a great sense of honor and respect thanks to their father being of a samurai lineage. Even though they are twins they are quite different, for Marco he's been known to be a "hot head" who tends to get into fights especially when bullies are involved, as for Flynn he's more level headed and tends to keep his brother from getting into too much trouble but when worse comes to shove he will fight tooth and nail to protect his brother."
Krakix and Strikeflier couldn't help but find some connection with the twins; they embodied the same samurai honor as them and up holded them to a great degree.
"Hmm, these two will make fine warriors indeed" Strikeflier said as Karkix nodded in agreement
With Lumagrowl he's orb showed a young woman with long blond hair, blue eyes and dark colored skin. For her attire she wore a very baggy yellow sweater that fluttered in the wind, very baggy black pants and black sneakers. The orb showed the girl busy working at a computer and was writing up a very complex series of codes but the orb then shifted it image again, showing the girl having her head down and trying to avoid people all while the boys looked at her with flirty looks.
"Lumagrowl, your new partner will be Miss Leia Spark, a very intelligent girl but cursed with amazing beauty" Wavern said catching Lumagrowls attention
"Cursed?" He asked
"Yes, you see when Leia turned the age of sixteen she grew to be a very beautiful woman with amazing looks and, in human terms, a very nice body but she hated it. The reason being because everyone that saw her thought she was just a shallow women with good looks but that was far from the truth. Because of this she doesn't have many friends and tends to just have her nose in her computer, I figured someone like you can give Miss Spark a confidence boost" Wavern explained
Lumagrowl couldn't help but growl in anger at this, how dare they treat this woman like she was an object for them to obtain. She was intelligent like his old mistress but unlike her she lacked the confidence and maleficent.
"Very well, this girl will be protected no matter what; no one will treat her like this ever!" Lumagrowl said, ending it off with a howl
Then finally came Dharak who looked down at the orb before him, in the orb he saw a young boy with brown short hair, green eyes and pale colored skin. The boy wore a black leather jacket over a dark purple t-shirt, black jean, and black fingerless gloves with studs on each knuckle and ending the look with a pair of grey army boots. The image showed the boy holding up a smaller human child by the back of his shirt and was laughing at him but the image then showed the boy looking at a gravestone with a face that was filled with grief until the image changed again this time showing the same boy and was defending the same small child as before from a bigger boy.
"And finally Dharak, your new partner is Paul Argus" Wavern said as the dragon studied the boy
"This boy…what is his story…one moment he seemed like an evil creature but know he is helping someone?" Dharak asked
"Of course, you see Paul used to be a bully where he was born and for a long time he loved it because it made him feel powerful but one day while he's father was busy working at the local bank there was a robbery and unfortunately he's father was killed in the heist. After he's father's death it made Paul realize where his life was going and where he will end up in the future. So he decided to turn his life around and ended his days of bullying and to help with that he created a motto for himself, "Use your power as a shield, not a sword"" Wavern said
Looking at the boy, Dharak couldn't help but admire him a bit, like him he was once a despicable person but now he was turning his life around…something he was trying to do…it's just unfortunate that he had to lose his father to realize it.
"You made a wise choice Wavern…I will cherish this boy with all my heart" Dharak announced which made Wavern smile
"Well, I assume everyone likes there new partners?" Wavern asked
Everyone then looked at one another, each of them nodding in agreement with each other, all of them thinking the same thing.
"I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we are pleased with our new partners" Dharak said
"Good, then I hope you're ready because your about to meet them" Wavern said
Then before anyone knew it, they were all turned into energy and turned into their ball forms and were sent flying into the white void until disappearing out of sight.

In the small city of Flagstaff, we can see Tristan walking home after his part time job as Gym assistant. Today was a good day; he woke up from a very comfortable sleep, had a good breakfast and made it to work on time, yep everything was looking good for him evident by the smile on his face.
"The best part is I got to get off early for a good job, I can tell nothing can ruin this day" Tristan said to himself
Suddenly he felt a vibrating in his pocket making reach in and pull out his phone. Looking at the number he saw it was one he didn't recognize so he decided to answer.
"Hello?" Tristan asked
"TRISTAN!" a very angry voice said over the phone, "YOU BETTER COME TO YOUR SENSES AND COME BACK HOME OR ELSE…" the voice said until Tristan hung up
That was his "father" if you can even call him that and of course that was him again telling him to come home but that was not happening. No way was he going back to him after what he did, telling him that his dreams were pointless and that he should be like him no matter what…even if it killed him.
"Yeah, be an angry, beer addict like him…I don't think so" Tristan said to himself
Unfortunately that small interaction with his dad had put him in a sour mood thus ending he's happy mood.
"Thanks a lot dad" Tristan groaned
Suddenly out nowhere it seemed that time has slowing down around him and the sky lit up like an aura borealis making him stop in his tracks but as soon as it happened it was gone and everything moved forward as if nothing had happened, all while Tristan was left confused.
"What…was that?" he asked to no one
"I believe that signaled my arrival" a voice said from Tristan's shoulder looking down and what he saw looked like a small toy that looked like a minotaur
Then to Tristian's surprise, the small toy then looked up at him and spoke.
"Hello Tristian"
Hearing the toy speak caused Tristian to yell and jump away from the small Minotaur figure, causing it to jump off his shoulder and float in front of him.
"Okay…WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU!?" Tristian shouted in fear
"Hello Tristian, my name is Subterra Sabator and I'm your new partner."

In the large metropolis of New York City, among the many apartment complexes was young Leia Spark who was in her room doing some school work on her computer, mainly a book report.
"…and done, and it's only 7 I'm just so good aren't I" Leia said with a warm smile on her face, proud of herself
Suddenly she heard a ding from her phone on the desk making her pick it up and look at it. Seeing what it was she saw that she had multiply messages from boys at school on her Discord making her groan. She didn't bother to open them since she knew what they were, flirty messages and cheesy pick-up lines to get her attention. With a sigh she then placed the phone on the deck face down and looked out the window of her room with a sadden look on her face.
"…Why can't anyone see me as … me and not just look at my body" she said to herself
She then turned to a full length mirror in her room and standing up she walked over to the mirror to look at her reflection. She then took her sweater off revealing her body to Leia making her grumble in annoyance. In the mirror she could see her having a slim hourglass body that a super model would have and she was defiantly…top heavy.
"…Stupid genetics" she grumbled
Suddenly her whole room was filled with a rainbow of color making her squeal in surprise and cover her eyes with her arm but in an instant it was gone making her lower her arm. Looking around her room she tried to see if anything had changed in her room but to her confusion and relief nothing seemed to have changed.
"Okay, I think I'm working too hard and I'm hallucinating now" Leia said running a hand through her hair
"Trust me mistress, you are not hallucinating" a raspy voice said
Surprised, Leia then whipped her head to the direction where the voice came from, which was her desk, and looking at it she saw a small white ball on her desk that was defiantly not there before. Suddenly the ball then popped open to reveal a figurine that resembled a wolf with six tails and was looking right at her.
"Hello there" the thing said
Leia then screamed and jumped away from her desk and landed on her bed, trying to get some distance between her and the strange wolf thing.
"What…are you?" she asked
"My name is Haos Lumagrowl and I am your new partner."

In another part of the world, in Salt Lake City, meditating in small dojo connected to their house were the samurai twins Marco and Flynn, both were in deep concentration…well one was. Marco was having a hard focusing instead focusing on an itch on his nose and of course Flynn noticed this.
"Marc, just scratch it" Flynn said making Marco let out a sigh of relief
"Thanks man" Marco said as he scratched his nose
Seeing that there concentration was broken they decided to end their meditation and go into combat practice instead. So now Marco and Flynn stood apart from each other, each holding a bamboo sword and took up proper stance.
"You ready bro?" Marco asked which Flynn just smirked
"If you mean ready to win again for the fourth time in a row this month then yeah I am" Flynn said making Marco scoff in a playful way
"Oh it is on!" Marco shouted
The two brothers then went on the attack and then clashed their swords together, but once they did the whole area was filled with rainbow light and timed slowed down but it instantly went back to normal a second after. Seeing this caused the two to stop with their spar and look around the room with surprise and curiosity.
"Did…did we do that?" Marco asked which Flynn shrugged at
"Actually that was us" a voice said from the ground
Looking down at the mat they saw two balls, one red and one green and both popped open to reveal forms that resemble samurais causing the twins to be surprised.
"Woah, what are you guys some sort of advanced marble or something" Marco asked making the green one scoff
"Please we are not toys, I am Ventus Strikeflier and this is my brother in arms Pyrus Krakix and we are your new partners."

In the city of Los Angles, young Ruth had just come home after a small party she was attending with some friends, it was fun for a while…that is until they brought out the "green stuff". Yeah after that she knew she needed to leave and thus she did, luckily her friends understood and let her go on her way. Once she arrived home she found that her parents were out, most likely having some R&R which left her home alone.
But she was tired so she just deiced to head to her room to rest up. Once there she then laid on her bed and pulled out her phone and the first thing she sees is a text message from the same boy that tried to…have his way with her. So with a scoff she then swiped the message away thus leaving her sight and mind.
"Ugh, guy can't take a hint can he? Maybe I should get a restraining order or something" Ruth said to herself
Suddenly a her room was then filled with rainbow light causing her to scream in fright and cover her eyes due to the brightness but as soon as it started it was over. Taking her arms down, she then looked around her room but found nothing wrong with it making her let out breath.
"Geez, I need some sleep, I think I'm cracking" Ruth said rubbing her forehead
"Well if you are cracking then may I be the first to invite you to the crazy club!" a somewhat deranged voice
Looking at the source of the voice she found a small blue ball no bigger than a large marble at the foot of her bed. Suddenly the ball then popped open and became a figure that looked like a lobster with insect like eyes.
"Hello!" the small figure said
Ruth yelled and jumped back from figure now sitting at the head of the bed and staring at the strange thing.
"What the heck are you?!" Ruth shouted
"I am Aquos Lythirus, and from now on I'm your partner!"

In the small town of Chino Valley, standing in the middle of cemetery, was young Paul who was looking down at one certain tombstone…he's father. Seeing the slab of stone Paul couldn't help but let a tear roll down his check as sadness rolled over him but it was nothing new to him. Paul came to this spot almost every weekend to pay his respects to the man that made him better in the end.
"I just wish that it didn't take you dying for me to realize it" Paul said, closing his eyes and let the painful memories play out in his mind
"Trust me, I know the feeling, more then you know" a voice said
Opening his eyes, Paul looked at his father's grave and to his surprise he saw what looked like a small black dragon toy on top of it. Now normally a normal guy would scream at the sight of a talking toy or something talking to them but Paul was so filled with dread he just wanted someone to talk to, weird or not.
"What do you mean?" Paul asked the small dragon
"I was once a horrible person as well and did what I wanted with no regard for others feelings or safety…and it cost me everything" he said
"What did you lose?" Paul asked
"My friends, my life and my sanity…but like you I was given a second chance to redeem myself just like you" he said
Finding some similarity with the strange dragon creature, Paul held out his hand to the small creature which jumped into his hand and brought him up to look him in the eye.
"Who are you?" Paul asked
"I am Darkus Dharak and on this day…I am your partner and guardian."
