Chapter 1

Professor Utonium woke up to an empty house a feeling he was all to familiar with. he could hear the sound of the wind blowing the trees out front. he let out a groan and covered his face with his hands.

"Drake Utonium what have you gotten yourself into. trying to create the perfect little girl is impossible. of course there must be some chemical formula but actually taking it from a formula to a living being let alone a sentient child."

the Professor forced himself out of bed and grabbed his notebook flipping through the pages until he slammed it shut in frustration. He let his gaze wonder around the room until it settled on his lab assistant.

"well Jojo i suppose we best be getting back to it." with that he sluggishly made his way to the kitchen cooking himself a modest meal of bacon and eggs.

"Well Chemical V was." he pauses for a moment as he remembers the unholy creature he made with his last attempt. the red pincers and pure evil heart, the farthest thing from the perfect little girl he could have possibly created.

"i need something, someone to bring an end to him." saying the creatures name sent shivers down Professor Utonium's spine.

"At least not all of my experiments have ended in failure." he reached over and gently pet his lab assistant on the head.

"though i should probably keep you away from Chemical W. A through V was destroyed by you." he picked up the paper and a surge of anger rippled through him as he slammed it down on his dining room table.

"she did it already?! i can believe Newtronium would steal my idea but actually accomplishing it before me this is ridiculous and it was supposed to be the perfect little girl!" he grabbed the paper throwing it against the wall just before collapsing into his chair.

"Jojo if i don't create the perfect little girl i fear we will lose the lab and the house." the little monkey not understanding but able to since the distress in its owners voice walks over and give the professor a hug.

"That's sweet Jojo but I need to get back to work." He put his dishes away and as he passed the refrigerator he stopped looking at the old photo of his wife.

"You didn't deserve what happened to you my love." a tear trailed down his face as he thought of the misery she had to endure in her last day and he unable to do anything to have helped her.

"You know Jojo she was the reason I started this project." He thought to himself out loud.

"we couldn't have any children and her heart was set on having a little girl so I knew there had to be some formula to make one. I spent so long trying to give her a child that i." He choked up reliving how he had not noticed the signs of her illness.

"today's the day Jojo let's get to work."
