"I thought we were your friends! Are we or aren't we?!" He shouted glaring at her before running past her. going upstairs.

"Hikaru, wait for me!" Kaoru called after him, following after him.

Tamaki watched them run off with the others and rubs the back of his head. "Their world is still so small. It's such a shame." He said with a soft sigh.

Akari frowned and looked at Honey who also had an expression of concern for Hikaru. The mood was basically ruined as Honey let go of him to hold his hand gently.

~The Next Day~

Honey could hardly wait when Akari woke up for their date. He planned on making this day the best for their date. "Come on Kari! Let's go!" "Well! Akari and I will be heading off on our date, hope you two have fun, bye!" Honey suddenly spoke as he grabbed Akari's hand and taking him away to his and the other's shock.

"I never seen Honey-Senpai act like that." Hikaru said as he then noticed Haruhi was not by his side making him panic before seeing her at the ice cream stand as Honey led Akari away.

That seemed to cheer him up and he agreed, taking him off so they can look at stuff at the shops and stuff. Sure they were rich, but it didn't stop Honey from being in awe at things that could be easily gotten. Though there was one thing he spotted that made Honey glance at Akari as the other was looking at something else and smiled to himself as he bought the item.

Akari seemed to notice immediately the bag and was curious. "What did you buy?" He asked and Honey held the bag close.

"It's a surprise." Honey smiled brightly, not wanting Akari to see it just yet as he held the bag. "Come on! There's a book store here!" Honey then pointed out which made Akari's eyes light up a bit, looking in the direction and the two continued on their date.

It was fun, until it started raining, but it just made Akari laugh which made Honey smile and giggle before laughing with him. "We should head back." Akari suggested and Honey nodded.

"Yeah, we can go to the pension if you want." Honey spoke as by now he felt better about their date ending like this instead of other people ending it.

"We can get something to eat there and dry off." Akari agreed even though he knew the other hosts would probably be there too. Though as soon as they got there thunder was heard making them get inside.

"Oh, we thought you'd be Hikaru and Haruhi." Mizuzu said as they looked at them.

"What do you mean?" Akari asked before the two were informed about what happened and about Haruhi's fear. Everyone seemed worried about them, especially Tamaki who had just gotten off the phone with Hikaru.

Akari couldn't say he wasn't concerned, but he knew they would be fine knowing them, but looking out the window at the storm still made him worried about their friends.

Not much was said as all they had to do was wait, but as the storm settled into a light drizzle and then nothing at all the door opened with Hikaru and Haruhi. It made him smile a bit seeing them alright as Tamaki ran up to fuss about them, no one mentioning Haruhi's fear of thunder as things got back to normal.

"Akari, I want to give you something." Honey whispered to the other making him look over before leading him out back.

"What is it, Hone-" Akari's voice got caught in his throat as Honey took out the gift from the bag, opening the box.

Ever since that night Honey really meant that he was making him his. Akari's face was a bright red when Honey was holding some rings. "You know since Fuji got engaged it has given me the idea for some promise rings. So no one will try to take you and no one will try to take me." Honey told him happily.

"Y-You're serious about this?" Akari asked blushing looking at the ring Honey gave him.

"Of course, I want you in my life as long as possible." Honey told him. "You don't have to wear it if you're not ready. I know how you feel about attention on yourself." Honey told him holding his hand and kissing it. "I just knew as soon as I saw these rings I thought of you and had to get them." Honey looked at him.

Akari couldn't stop blushing and let Honey slip the ring on his ring finger when Akari gave him his hand. It wasn't exactly an engagement, but he didn't mind it like this. "I'll give you a real proposal when we're both ready." Honey told him before Akari just had tears prick his eyes before he picked up and hugged the other, holding him close as Honey hugged back.

"I love you." Akari told him quietly making Honey smile.
