The third night at Freddy's Pizza Place was off to a rough start. Jessie, James, and Meowth gathered in the security office, their eyes tired and their nerves frayed from the previous two nights.

"Alright, team," Jessie said, her voice tinged with fatigue. "We need to be extra careful tonight. Those animatronics are getting bolder."

"Yeah, and we can't let our guard down," James added, glancing nervously at the monitors. "We've made it this far. Just three more nights to go."

Meowth's stomach growled loudly, breaking the tension. "I'm starving! We should've brought some snacks."

"Actually, I ordered some pizza," Jessie said with a smirk. "Figured we'd need the energy boost."

James chuckled. "Great idea. But who's going to patrol the hallways while we wait for it?"

"Let's settle this the old-fashioned way," Jessie suggested, holding out her fist. "Rock-paper-scissors."

Meowth groaned, knowing his luck with the game. "Aw, come on. Do we have to?"

"Yes, we do," James said firmly. "It's the only fair way."

They played a quick round, and as expected, Meowth lost. He sighed dramatically, accepting his fate. "Fine, fine. I'll patrol the hallways. But you guys better save me some pizza!"

Jessie and James nodded, trying to hide their relief. Meowth grabbed a flashlight and stepped out into the dimly lit corridor, the door clicking shut behind him. The silence of the hallway was oppressive, and the flickering lights cast eerie shadows that seemed to dance with every step he took.

"Why do I always get the short end of the stick?" Meowth muttered to himself, his ears twitching at every sound. "Stupid rock-paper-scissors."

As he walked, Meowth kept his eyes peeled for any sign of movement. The animatronics were nowhere to be seen, but he knew better than to trust the apparent calm. Every creak of the floorboards and distant whirr of machinery made his heart race.

He passed by the main stage where Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica usually stood. They were absent, which only heightened his anxiety. "Where are those creepy things?"

Suddenly, a faint sound echoed down the hallway—a soft, metallic clinking. Meowth froze, his fur standing on end. He shone his flashlight in the direction of the noise, but saw nothing.

"Okay, Meowth, just stay calm," he whispered to himself, inching forward. "You're a tough guy. You can handle this."

He continued his patrol, his nerves on edge. As he approached the maintenance room, he heard the clinking sound again, louder this time. It was followed by a low, mechanical growl. Meowth's eyes widened in fear.

"Who's there?" he called out, his voice trembling. "Show yourself!"

Out of the shadows stepped Foxy, the pirate animatronic. Its eyes glowed red, and its sharp teeth gleamed menacingly in the dim light. Meowth's heart skipped a beat as Foxy began to move towards him, its metallic limbs clanking with each step.

"Not good, not good!" Meowth yelped, turning on his heel and running down the hallway. "Jessie! James! Help!"

He sprinted as fast as his legs could carry him, the sound of Foxy's pursuit echoing behind him. The animatronic was surprisingly fast, and Meowth could hear it gaining on him.

He rounded a corner and saw the security office door up ahead. "Almost there!" he panted, pushing himself to run faster.

Just as he reached the door, it swung open and Jessie and James pulled him inside, slamming it shut behind him. Meowth collapsed onto the floor, gasping for breath.

"What happened?" Jessie asked, helping him up.

"Foxy... chased me..." Meowth managed to say between gasps. "It was right behind me!"

James glanced at the monitors, but Foxy was nowhere to be seen. "It must have retreated when we closed the door."

"That was too close," Jessie said, shaking her head. "We need to stick together from now on."

A knock on the security office door startled them all. Jessie peeked through the small window and saw the pizza delivery guy standing outside, looking confused. She quickly opened the door, grabbed the pizzas, and handed over the payment before shutting the door again.

"Finally, some good news," James said, opening a box and grabbing a slice. "Let's eat and stay alert."

As they dug into the pizza, the tension in the room eased slightly. But they knew they couldn't let their guard down. The animatronics were getting more aggressive, and the remaining nights would only get tougher.

Meowth took a bite of his pizza, savoring the taste. "I don't care how scary this place is. At least the food's good."

Jessie and James chuckled, their spirits lifting a bit. "We'll get through this," Jessie said firmly. "Together."

James nodded in agreement. "Team Rocket always finds a way."
