"You really don't have to be with me you know, I could just go home."

Edward just smiled and handed me a tissue, not even flinching when I blew my nose noisily. "Not a chance, love. All I want to do is take care of you."

"It's just a stupid cold, I'll be fine. I know how to take care of myself," I said sniffling and chucking the gross tissue into the wastebasket placed conveniently close to the bed.

"All the same, it would make me feel better to stay close to you and make sure you're all right."

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help snuggling closer to him. There had been a cold going around Forks for weeks. Charlie had gotten it last week and had encouraged me to clear out so I didn't get sick, but between dropping in a few times a day to bring Charlie food and all the kids at school who were sick, I never really stood a chance. Charlie was happy for me to keep staying with the Cullens, supposedly in their guest room, until I was better. I think the idea of my being sick freaked him out.

"Shouldn't you be going to school or something though?" I protested again.

"Bella, it's Saturday."

I started to complain that surely there was somewhere else he needed to be when I knew I was about to sneeze. Edward handed me a tissue just in time. Ahchoo! Ahchoo! Ahchoo! Ahchoo! Ten sneezes later I blew my nose and collapsed back against the pillows, stifling a moan.

Edward brushed his lips against my forehead and stood, "I'll go get you some tea, just try to rest."

Still too stuffed up to get comfortable, I pulled out my phone and texted Angela. She'd gotten sick the day before me.

How are you feeling today?

Still pretty gross, she replied. What about you?

Also gross. Is Ben doing better?

Yes, finally. My little sisters have also finally started to improve so it's just me here alone in my room. I told my family to keep away so I don't mess up their recovery.

"Is Angela still unwell?" Edward asked as he walked in with my tea.

"Yeah, and she's just alone in her room so she doesn't get anyone else sick."

"Not everyone can have vampiric nursemaids," Edward teased gently.

I blew my nose again, then shifted so that I could take the tea. The warm steam rising from the cup instantly helped clear my sinuses.

"Bella, that's a great idea!" Alice called suddenly, dancing into the rom.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused, pushing my hair away from my face. It was bad enough that Edward had to see me like this, I hated exposing Alice to my grossness as well.

"Your idea to have Angela come over to have a sickie movie night!"

"Oh…" The idea had flicked through my mind when Angela said she was alone, but I hadn't realized that I'd considered it seriously enough for Alice to have a vision of it happening.

"Angela will definitely say yes! We'll get everything together!"

"Wait, but…" I started to protest but knew I was about to sneeze. In a flash Edward had exchanged the tea in my hand for a tissue. When I emerged from the sneezing fit, both Eward and Alice were looking at me sympathetically.

"I'm so glad I can't remember being a human," Alice said, forehead wrinkling.

I rolled my eyes as I blew my nose and then took the tea back.

"Well, while you were sneezing, I texted Angela for you and she was delighted! She'll come over this evening at five," Alice said cheerfully.

"But…I didn't…"

"Relax, Bella." Edward said gently. "Go to sleep, we'll take care of everything."

"I'm fine," I mumbled. Edward was already taking the empty mug from my hands and tucking the blankets around my shoulders again. I was out before I could protest anymore.

I blinked awake, groggy and stuffy sometime later. I glimpsed Edward sitting on his couch across the room for just an instant before he was beside me again.

"How are you feeling?"

"'M Okay," I mumbled, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "How long was I out?"

"About three hours," Edward said gently brushing his fingers across my forehead and the back of my neck. I knew he was surreptitiously checking for a fever, but trying to disguise it as a simple caress. He handed me a tissue and I blew my nose, pulling myself into a seated position.

"Are you ready for your moving night with Angela?" he asked, checking his phone.

"Oh! I forgot. What time is it?"

"About 4:30. Would you like to take a shower before Angela comes over? Carlisle told me that would help with your congestion."

"Good idea," I said sniffling.

Half an hour later, I was bundled in my favorite cozy sweats and had braided back my wet hair. The shower had actually helped me feel half-way human again, despite the sneezing attack I'd had halfway through it.

Edward appeared at my side again and held out his arms, "May I?"

I nodded my assent and he scooped me gently into his arms. I closed my eyes so the movement didn't make me dizzy and it was only a few heartbeats later that Edward whispered, "Open your eyes."

I had expected that we'd be watching a moving down in the living room, but Edward and Alice had transformed the library into a movie theater. A large screen dominated the room, set up in front of the bookshelves. There were about a dozen blankets and pillows strewn across the large sectional they'd apparently brought from downstairs. String lights were hung along the bookshelves, providing gently ambient light. On a low table in front of the couch were two boxes of tissues and two trays, each of which held a large glass of water and a large glass of orange juice.

"Edward…it's incredible," I breathed as he gently placed me on the couch.

"Alice is out picking up pho noodle soup now, she assures me that Angela will love it."

"Oh! But the closest pho place is in Port Angeles," I protested weakly.

"But it's your favorite," Edward said simply. "We just want you to feel better Bella."

"Thank you," I whispered, looking around the room.

"Angela is about to pull in, I'll go greet her. You stay here."

Edward disappeared downstairs and I blew my nose again, still admiring how beautifully the room had been set up. They'd even thought to leave a small wastebasket under the table for dirty tissues.

I could just barely hear voices downstairs as Edward greeted Angela. When she walked into the library—now movie room—she stopped short and looked around impressed.

"Has this always been here?"

I smiled, Angela had been to the Cullen's a few times, but the house did seem to be ever-changing. "No, Alice and Edward decided to be a little extra while I took a nap."

"It's amazing," she said, settling down onto the couch. She was wearing sweats almost identical to mine and was carrying a box of tissues under one arm. "Thanks for thinking of this, I was getting kind of lonely at home."

"If we're both sick, might as well be sick together," I said grinning.

"Ladies, welcome to the Cullen Theater," Edward said standing formally in front of the screen. "It is my pleasure to welcome you here tonight. Your drinks are already prepared and Alice will be here shortly with pho."

Angela made a soft sound of pleasure and Edward winked at me.

"For your movie tonight, I thought a classic musical would be best. Perhaps Singin' in the Rain or Hello, Dolly?"

These were two of my absolute favorites, and Angela lit up as well. Sometimes having best friends who were mind-reading and future-seeing vampires was very convenient.

"I love them both!" Angela said to me, "You pick."

"Hello, Dolly." I said, sneezing and grabbing a tissue.

"Excellent choice. I'll just get that started for you. Let me know if you need anything at all, I'll be close enough to hear if you call." Edward started the movie, then gave me a controller and dropped a kiss on the top of my head before walking away.

"Wow, they really went all…all…" Angela's face contorted and she grabbed a tissue, unleashing a volley of tiny, delicate sneezes. Choo, choo, choo, choo!

She grimaced at me, "Sorry about that."

"What are you apologizing for?" I asked, "We're both sick." We both blew our noses and then laughed at the absurdity of this situation.

The movie was wonderful. The pho Alice brought was perfect, and Edward brought us tea and fresh fruit halfway through the movie. Both Angela and I had sneezing fits and sniffled and made all sorts of gross sounds, but neither of us cared. By the end of the movie, both of us were struggling to stay awake.

Edward came over and turned the screen off, "And how did you enjoy your evening ladies?"

"This was amazing, thank you so much for inviting me," Angela said sniffling. "I should probably get home now so we can sleep."

Alice walked into the room as if she'd been called, "Can I drive you home Angela?"

"Oh, no, it's okay," Angela said, clearly flustered. "My car is here."

"That's not a problem at all." Edward said smoothly. "Alice can drive you home and we'll return your car first thing tomorrow morning."

Angela looked like she was going to protest again, but instead her nose wrinkled and she sneezed several times.

"Just let her drive you," I said to Angela. "It's okay to let yourself be taken care of."

Angela dabbed at her nose with a tissue and then nodded, "Yes. Thank you, Alice, I really appreciate it."

"My pleasure!" Alice chirped.

"Thanks for coming Angela, text me tomorrow and let me know how you feel," I said waving.

"You too," she replied. "Thank you all." She looked between Edward and Alice and looked like she wanted to say more, but Alice just smiled at her and motioned for her to lead the way out.

Edward was at my side the moment they were out of the room. "What were you saying about letting yourself be taken care of?"

I rolled my eyes, but leaned in for a kiss. "Thank you for taking care of me tonight, and for taking care of Angela too."

"I love you Bella, I will always take care of you."

I snuggled against his chest and his arms went around me. "Let's get you into bed."
