Miraculous belongs to Thomas Astruc. We don't owe anything at all. Only our OCs.
Summary: Miraculouses have been corrupted. It's up to Master Fu and Marianne to select the holders of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses to save and de-corrupt them. Will they succeed, or fail?
Chapter Two: The Corruption of The Wolf
Libellula was in an abandoned building, waiting for orders from her master. She was a bit bored as well.
Walking by the building was a male young adult. He had navy blue eyes, messy brown hair, tanned skin with a few freckles on his cheeks, and a runner's build. He was wearing a black shirt with a pocket on the upper right corner, worn down blue jeans, white socks and blue and gray shoes. His name was Nick.
Libellula would notice Nick, thinking he would be perfect for the team. "Hey boss, I found a teammate. Should I get him?"
Luciérnaga didn't need to think about this for very long. If his first recruit found a potential teammate, that could mean that they'd be able to work well together. Not to mention, it would expand his army. "Very well," he nodded. "You may."
Libellula smirked, and would head out, grabbing the man, quickly dragging him inside without another word.
Nick was panicked at the whole circumstance and tried to get away but to no avail.
"There's no need to struggle, boy. You'll soon see," Libellula smirked.
"See what?" Nick questioned. "Where are you taking me?"
Libellula would take him inside the building, plopping him in front of Luciérnaga.
Luciérnaga took one look at Nick, who looked back at him with confusion. "This is the teammate you mentioned?" he verified. He already had an idea of which Miraculous to give this man.
"Well, if he wants to join the team," Libellula smirked, glancing at the man. "Do you?"
"What team?" Nick asked, incredibly confused.
"A team of supervillians," Luciérnaga smirked. "Do you want power?"
"Supervillains? Power?" Nick repeated. He didn't necessarily like the idea of supervillains…but the idea of power seemed interesting. "What…kind of power?"
Luciérnaga would hand him the Miraculous of the Wolf. "Take it, and you will gain great power."
Nick looked at the Miraculous before taking them. After a moment of contemplating, he put on the cufflinks.
Almost immediately, he would be covered in dark magic, which began to corrupt him.
"What the hell's going on?!" Nick panicked, before the magic covered him completely.
Luciérnaga would smirk. "Now, rise from your corruption, Lupo Scuro!" he commanded.
Almost immediately, the dark magic faded. He now had jet black wolf ears atop his head and his eyes were now wolf-like. He had a dark navy blue mask around his eyes, and a pure black bodysuit with a navy blue faux tail attached. He had also gained fangs as a result of the transformation. He wasn't Nick anymore, now he was Lupo Scuro.
"Not bad," Libellua smirked.
"Why thank you," Lupo Scuro replied, grinning wickedly.
"Now, I think it's time for you to cause some chaos. Perhaps kidnapping a young girl?" Luciérnaga suggested.
"Yes sir," Lupo Scuro replied, giving a salute before he left the building.
Brooklynne and Beckett would be hanging out with one another, the cheer captain holding onto an iced latte.
Lupo Scuro soon noticed the two from where he was located. That girl was perfect…
"Isn't it a lovely day, Beckett?" Brooklynne smiled at her twin brother.
"Sure is," Beckett agreed.
Before either of them noticed, Lupo Scuro had grabbed Brooklynne and ran off with the cheer captain.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" Brooklynne screamed.
"Causing chaos," Lupo Scuro replied with a smirk.
"Let go of me!" Brooklynne let out.
"I'm afraid that's not possible," Lupo Scuro responded.
"Beckett! Help!" Brooklynne screamed for her twin.
"Brooklynne!" Beckett called out. He tried to chase after the villain, but the villain was too fast for the civilian. "I'll save you!"
Meanwhile…
Melanie would transform into Coccinella, so that she could contact Mariposa. They would probably need a champion.
Lucille would find a place to hide, so she could transform. "Nooroo, Wings Rise," she said softly, transforming into Mariposa. She would be wearing a gorgeous violet dress with a silver mask over her eyes. Her hair would be braided, with violet highlights. She would be sitting on a throne in different shades of purple. She took out her staff, and opened it to reveal a pure white butterfly. She kissed it. "Okay my sweet butterfly. It's time for you to search for a champion."
The butterfly would fly up to the window, and phase through it, flying out to search for a champion.
Beckett was still trying to find the wolf villain who had taken his sister. He was determined to save her.
The beautiful light violet butterfly would soon flutter down to him, absorbing into his phone. Almost instantly, he would be plunged into a beautiful throne room, where a woman was sitting on a throne.
"Hello, young man," the woman smiled at him. "Come closer."
Beckett walked a little closer, a little bit reluctant.
"There's no need to be afraid. My name is Mariposa. I want to help you," she continued.
"Help me?" Beckett replied. "How do you want to help me?"
"I can grant you powers of your own," Mariposa continued. "Bodyguard, the powers I'm giving you are super speed, super strength, and the knowledge of all types of fighting. You will work with Nigrum Cattus and Coccinella to stop Lupo Scuro."
"Is Lupo Scuro the name of the villain who took my sister?" Beckett asked.
"Yes," Mariposa responded. "Do you accept?"
"I do," Beckett agreed without hesitation.
"Excellent. Now rise, Bodyguard! And go and complete your mission!"
And the room would fade away immediately as he began to transform.
Bodyguard had a black suit with black sunglasses over his eyes and an earpiece microphone on his left ear. He set off to go find the heroes, to help them defeat the villain and save his sister.
Coccinella would smile at the message on her yo-yo. "Perfect. Mariposa's sending us her champion. We should be on the lookout for someone named Bodyguard."
"Sounds good to me," Nigrum Cattus smiled back.
Brooklynne would be struggling in the arms of Lupo Scuro.
Lupo Scuro was keeping a tight grip on the cheerleading captain. In addition, in order to try and raise fear and chaos, anytime someone tried to stop him, he let out a loud, glass-shattering howl that made his foes have to stop to cover their ears.
"OWW!" Brooklynne moaned, unable to cover her ears.
"We need to do something, and fast!" Coccinella let out, worried.
Soon, Coccinella and Nigrum Cattus would see Bodyguard running towards them.
"Okay, you must be Bodyguard, right?" Coccinella asked.
"That's me," Bodyguard nodded.
"Let's get to work then. LUCKY CHARM!" Coccinella let out, throwing her yo-yo into the air. Magical ladybugs would surround the yo-yo, before an item dropped into her hand. "A boomerang?"
"How can we use the boomerang?" Nigrum Cattus asked aloud.
Coccinella was trying to figure it out, but a part of her seemed afraid.
Nigrum Cattus looked over at Coccinella and noticed she seemed afraid. "Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm a bit scared of wolves. I was scratched by one when I was younger," Coccinella admitted.
"I'm sorry that happened to you," Nigrum Cattus replied. "Don't worry, we'll make sure nothing goes wrong."
"I hope," Coccinella nodded. "But would you like to use this on the idiot?"
"With pleasure," Nigrum Cattus replied, taking the boomerang.
And soon, the three would charge forward.
Nigrum Cattus threw the boomerang at the villain, hitting him square on the shoulder. This caused the villain to have to loosen his grip on Brooklynne.
Brooklynne nearly fell to the ground, but was able to catch herself before doing so. She was frightened.
"The game's over, Lupo Scuro!" Coccinella yelled at the wolf villian. "We're gonna stop you! It's three against one!"
"You've got this, heroes!" Brooklynne cheered.
Lupo Scuro growled. He let out a loud howl, before moving to attack the heroes! But just before he could reach them, Bodyguard tackled the villain.
"Nice going!" Coccinella let out.
Lupo Scuro growled. "You haven't seen the last of me," he swore, before running off.
"Miraculous Coccinella!" Coccinella let out, as she threw the boomerang into the air, fixing the damage done.
Bodyguard transformed back into Beckett. The butterfly would fly back to Mariposa.
"Beckett?!" Brooklynne let out.
"Hi, sis," Beckett responded with a smile.
"Oh my gosh!" Brooklynne let out, shocked.
"I think that's our cue to go," Coccinella let out.
"I've gotta agree with that," Nigrum Cattus agreed.
The two heroes would soon leave.
Back at the villain HQ…
Lupo Scuro returned to the Villain Headquarters, seemingly annoyed.
"Back so soon?" Libellula asked.
"I got tackled just before I could attack and go after one of them," Lupo Scuro growled. "And they saved the girl."
"The boss will be pissed," Libellula growled.
"I know he will," Lupo Scuro growled in response. "The three of them are really getting on my nerves already."
"Then that means they have the Butterfly," Luciérnaga growled, stepping forward.
"The Butterfly Miraculous?" Lupo Scuro repeated.
"Yes. They can create champions." Luciérnaga continued.
"Champions? Sounds like heroes in the making," Lupo Scuro scoffed. "What can these… champions do?"
Luciérnaga would explain.
"So much power," Lupo Scuro remarked once the explanation was complete before he scowled in disgust. "And it's on the Heroes team!"
Libellula growled. "We need more allies."
"Where can we find these allies?" Lupo Scuro asked. "I'm pretty sure we can't just walk up to them in our costumes."
"You can detransform at will. Just say 'Detransform Me.' To transform, say 'Transform Me.'" Luciérnaga said.
"Detransform me," Lupo Scuro repeated, transforming back into Nick.
"Detransform me," Libellula let out, transforming back into Brittany.
"Well then," Nick commented and looked at Brittany. "Shall we go off to find recruits?"
"We shall," Brittany smirked.
Cooper and Lucille
At the local park was a young girl, sitting in a wheelchair. She had a fair skin tone, along with blue eyes; and black hair. She was wearing a white blouse with a skirt, a pair of white socks, and beige ankle boots. The girl was currently playing the violin. Her name was Lucille Adams.
A young male arrived at the park. He had slicked back black hair, peach skin, and aqua blue eyes. He was wearing a shirt that said "Fall Out Boy" as well as jeans and black running shoes. His name was Cooper Green.
Lucille was near him, playing her violin. People were dropping coins into her case, which was placed onto the bench beside her.
Cooper heard the violin music and decided to go check it out. He saw Lucille playing and, after dropping a few coins into the case, decided to hang around and listen to the rest of her performance.
Eventually, Lucille finished her song. She sets her violin down, and takes a sip of water from her water bottle.
"That was really good," Cooper commented.
Lucille almost spit her water out in shock. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." She takes out a handkerchief, and wipes herself down. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Cooper replied. "I'm sorry for startling you."
"It's not your fault," Lucille shrugged her shoulders.
"If you insist," Cooper responded. "I'm Cooper, nice to meet you."
"Lucille, a pleasure," she replied.
Cooper smiled. "So do you play the violin often?"
"I do. I've been playing ever since my accident," Lucille replied.
"Accident?" Cooper repeated, before deciding not to pry. "Sorry to hear about the accident," he continued, sympathetically.
"It's okay. You didn't cause the accident. So I'm not mad. I've gotten used to living without the use of my legs," Lucille replied.
"So," Cooper decided to change the subject. "Do you like school?"
"I do," Lucille replied. "I get good grades. How about you?"
"I like it for the most part," Cooper answered. "The only subject I don't like is math. I get the feeling that the teacher isn't that fond of me."
"I've got good grades in math. I can tutor you, for $15," Lucille offered.
"Thanks for the offer," Cooper replied. "When will the tutoring lessons start?"
"Whenever you're ready. We can start them at school. Does two days a week work?" Lucille asked.
"Two days a week sounds good to me," Cooper confirmed. "It's a deal."
"Perfect. Let me know what days work for you," Lucille said. She takes out her notebook, and writes down her number, before passing it to him. "My cell number."
Cooper looked at the number in the notebook. He pulled out his phone and entered the contact information, before sending a message:
{Tuesdays and Fridays work best for me :) - Cooper}
Lucille smiled as she read the text, saving Cooper's contact information.
{Sounds good! See you Tuesday. ;)-Lucille}
{Can't wait! :D}
Lucille smiled at him. "So, I'll see you Tuesday?" she asked, as she put her phone away, and packed up her violin, putting the money into her wallet.
"Yep," Cooper replied. "I'll see you on Tuesday."
At the local coffee shop…
A young woman would be sitting there. She had a fair skin tone, and green eyes, along with a pair of blue framed glasses. She wore a t-shirt that said "IMAGINE DRAGONS", and a pair of ripped jeans, with white socks, and white running shoes. She was currently drinking tea, and reading Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. Her name was Laura.
A male entered the aforementioned coffee shop. He had a peach skin tone, brown eyes, and brown hair. He was currently wearing a football jersey with black shorts, white socks, and gray shoes. He played football at the university he attended and had just finished practice. His name was Gavin.
Laura looked up and noticed the boy.
Gavin looked at Laura and felt his heart beat quicker. He waved to her.
Laura smiled and waved back.
Gavin approached the table she was sitting at. "Is this seat taken?" he asked, standing by an empty chair across from her.
"You can sit here," Laura replied.
"Cool, thanks," Gavin replied as he took a seat.
"No problem," Laura replied, going back to her book.
"Is it good?" Gavin asked, referring to the book.
"It's based on a true story," Laura replied. "So of course it's good."
"Glad to hear it," Gavin responded.
"Thanks. I saw the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival. It cost a lot of money, but it was totally worth it," Laura grinned, putting a bookmark to mark her spot, before closing the book.
"That's interesting," Gavin replied. "I'll have to see if I can find the movie and watch it."
"It should be on some streaming services now. Or on DVD," Laura replied. "I'm Laura, by the way," she said, introducing herself. "I think I've seen you before. Are you on the football team with my ex?"
"Gavin Winchester," Gavin introduced himself. "So yes, I am."
"Of course. He keeps begging to get back together with me. I tell him no way. He just wants me on his shoulder for popularity," Laura scowled.
"You shouldn't be used as an object for popularity," Gavin replied sympathetically. "One day, you'll meet a guy who will love and appreciate you for being you."
"I hope so. Derek tried to change me from being a bookworm into a rich prep," Laura rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"He tried to?" Gavin repeated, going wide eyed. "That…that's messed up. You shouldn't have to change who you are just to meet someone's expectations or desires."
"I hated the dresses he made me wear. They were ugly. I think he was trying to mock me or something," Laura sighed, annoyed. "I'm so glad I decided to block him from calling or messaging me."
"Yeah, you need him out of your life," Gavin agreed. "If he tries to bother you about it at school, I'll do something about it."
"But what if you get kicked off the team? Derek is very influential with the coach," Laura asked, worried.
"Then I get kicked off the team," Gavin shrugged. "I mean, it's football. It's not that big of a deal if I get kicked off. Besides, maybe there's another sport out there. But it just…wouldn't matter to me if I got kicked off."
"I can't believe you would do that, for a girl you just met," Laura was surprised.
"Yeah well, I don't like Derek either," Gavin replied. "And I don't want him bothering you anymore, since he seems like he might try to win you back many more times."
As he said that, the aforementioned 'Derek' guy now seemed to be standing behind Laura's chair.
Laura soon felt a chill go down her spine. "He's right behind me, isn't he?"
"Unfortunately, he is," Gavin sighed.
"Unfortunately?" The other football player, Derek, repeated with fake surprise. "Gavin, what have I ever done to you to make you say that?" With that done, he cleared his throat and looked at Laura, a smirk forming on his face. "Hey babe."
"Don't call me that," Laura replied, annoyed. "We broke up, remember?"
"Well, I've been feeling rather lonely without you by my side," Derek replied. "And I thought we could try again, you and I?"
"Save it," Laura growled. "We are never ever ever getting back together. Like ever."
"One day, we will. You will see that we are made for each other," Derek replied. "Trust me."
"Hardly, dumbbell." Laura let out.
"Who're you calling 'dumbbell?'" Derek repeated with a growl. "I have a brain, you know! And with my brain, I know that I've scored more points on the team than anyone else!"
"Because you won't let anyone else score," Gavin interrupted.
"Maybe it's because you bribe them with money?" Laura asked. "How lame. Now leave!"
"That's not true, either of you!" Derek growled. "And I'll be back, mark my words!"
"Shut up, dumbbell, and leave us alone," Laura growled.
Derek growled, glaring at Gavin specifically before storming out of the coffee shop.
"What an annoyance," Gavin groaned. "I don't see why a majority of the team hangs out with him."
"Ugh, he's unbearable," Laura rubbed her forehead. "He was the worst idiot I've ever dated."
"Well, you're not with him anymore, and that's what matters," Gavin replied.
"That's so true," Laura smiled.
Gavin smiled back, before he got a buzz on his phone. He quickly pulled it out and saw that he missed not one, but two, text messages. The first one was from his twin brother that seemed to have been sent during his practice, and the most recent one was from his roommate. "I have to go, my roommate needs help with something." He stood up.
"It was so nice to meet you Gavin. I hope to see you around campus," Laura smiled.
"You will," Gavin replied with a reassuring smile as he headed to the exit of the coffee shop.
Grayson and Melanie
Melanie would currently be on her way to Grayson's home, wearing a long jacket to cover up the lingerie she was currently wearing.
Grayson was waiting for Melanie to arrive. His sister had gone out for the night, so he had the place to himself.
Melanie would soon arrive, knocking on his door.
Grayson quickly went to answer the door. He grinned at her. "Hey," he greeted.
"Hey, yourself," Melanie winked, stepping inside. She would remove her jacket, to reveal the lingerie.
Grayson's face immediately went red and he smirked a little. "Ah, I see you got dressed for the occasion~" he commented flirtatiously.
"I always do, handsome~" Melanie replied with a seductive tone to her voice.
"My room's this way," Grayson led her to his room. Once they were both inside the bedroom, he closed the door behind him.
"Good," Melanie smiled. "Let's get started~" She would crash her lips onto his.
And Grayson returned the kiss passionately.
They would fall onto the bed, as the intense moment would continue…
3 hours later
Grayson was on his back, shirtless as the bedsheets covered his lower half. "That was amazing…as always…" he let out.
"I aim to please," Melanie grinned. Her bra was on her, as the bottom half of her body was covered by the bedsheets.
"And you do an excellent job," Grayson replied, returning the grin.
Melanie giggled. "You're the best hookup I've ever had. Well, considering that you're my only hookup."
"You're also my only hookup," Grayson chuckled.
"Let's keep it that way then," Melanie smirked.
"Let's," Grayson agreed.
"Wanna go for another round? Or are you too tired to keep up with me~?" Melanie asked.
Grayson didn't need to think twice. "Let's go for another round," he answered with a smirk.
"Good," Melanie smirked back, as they began yet another passionate session.
