Ruby was in the living room scrolling through her emails as Gerald walked downstairs to the kitchen. "Ruby, why are you still here?" Said Gerald getting juice. "What did you or Kim do other than ground your kids?" Sais Ruby. "We have people coming to interview us and if they like we get to be on their website." Said Gerald. "As in you didnt bother yo involve me when i helped you care for the kids when they were in preschool." Said Ruby closing her laptop. "Yes. Now you have plans at all for you to leave all day." Said Gerald. "No." Said Ruby then the bell rang. She got up with her computer going to her room as Gerald went to answer thr door seeing a man holding flowers in front of his face. "Hey Cutie. Oh you are not my girlfriend." Said a man once he lowered the flowers. "No i am not. Please tell me your here for my step cousin and not my wife." Said Gerald. "Ruby. Im Zane Quinsy." Said the man shaking his hand. "Gerald Hart. Ruby its for you." Said Gerald looking upstairs. "What is Zane?" Said Ruby walking downstairs. "Hey Cutie. These are for you. You have plans?" Said Zane as Gerald was getting something from the bookshelf. "Im free but i thought you and the guys were off working a huge project." Said Ruby taking the flowers. "My boys got that taken care of. I was thinking if we go out to eat or something." Said Zane. "She's going. Great to meet you Zane and dont bring her home until five. Bye." Said Gerald pushing them outside to the porch. "Ok cant get weirder than that." Said Zane. "Sorry my family is having an interview to get on a webpage and didnt involve me." Said Ruby as Zane nodded.
"Well lets go before he comes back." Said Zane. "First let me get my phone from my room." Said Ruby. She walked to the side of the house next to thw tree that had a ladder leading to Henry's room. Zane walked to his car starting the engine and waited for Ruby. Ruby got to her room and picked up her phone from charging to see that Schwaz and Ray called her. She dialed Schwaz pn her way to Henry's room. "Ruby, i have new weapons for you and need help on a recent crime." Said Schwaz. "I can check on it later. My boyfriend just came into swellview and we're going out." Said Ruby sliding down the ladder. "You smoochie smooch your boyfriend another day. I need help on finding this illegal pig farming." Said Schwaz. "You and Ray can smoochie smooch my butt because i can kick both of yours if you order me around like that. Good bye." Said Ruby hanging up as she got in the car. "What was that?" Said Zane driving off. "Oh Schwaz wanted me to pick up his package of moldy goat cheese." Said Ruby. "And this Ray." Said Zane. "He was Sarah's and Lola's ex who is Henry's boss at junk n stuff." Said Ruby. "Got it. Mr. Piggy. Now about we head to my place to have a small movie date with a secret dinner." Said Zane stopping at red light. "That sounds like a plan." Said Ruby pecking his lips. "Now what's new with Henry and Piper?" Said Zane driving to a near by store. "They're both grounded. Henry snuck home late from doing who knows what and Piper watched an R rated movie with a friend of hers." Said Ruby. "Should i talk to them?" Saud Zane finding a parking spot. "They never met you and neither does Kim. I haven't told them about us because of my job." Said Ruby. "That will change when i drop you off." Said Zane finding an empty space and turned off the car. "Ok. Come on lets get going." Said Ruby getting out. "Ill get dinner and dessert while you go get the movies." Said Zane grabbing a cart.
Ruby walked down the aisles looking through the sales and items as someone tapped her back. She turned to see Lola and Sarah with a kid in the cart playing with a unicorn plushie. "What are you two up to?" Said Ruby. "I thought i texted about girl's night." Said Sarah. "No my battery died when i was helping Piper with dinner." Said Ruby. "Well are you coming tonight? Haley wont sleep until eight." Said Sarah. "Zane is in town and we're having our small date at his place." Said Ruby. "Fine but were having it mg house next week." Said Lola as Haley threw her tot on the floor. Ruby picked it up and put in the cart but Haley tossed it out again. "Keep the toy in the cart." Said Ruby putting the toy back after playfully tickling her. Haley laughed as Sarah pushed the cart down the aisle making the toddler pout. "Bye-bye." Said Haley waving at her. Ruby walked around thw aisle until she found the movie section and looked through them. "Oohh. It collection and Murder Mystery. Might as well get the popcorn and sweets for it." Said Ruby going to the next aisle. She picked out her stuff as her phone went off. "Hey Henry. Hows your grounding?" Said Ruby walking to the check stands. "Horrible. I have to me nice to Piper all day to get ungrounded and charlotte is taking my job." Said Henry. "Calm down. I think you and your sister get along. As Charlotte . . . i dont shes the kind of person to take your job as a stocker." Said Ruby walking up a step in line. "But she is. I told her what i thought of her as a job stealer and threw my fudgeblast out the window. Can stop her while im gone?" Said Henry. "Cant. Im with Zane ans wont be home until later." Said Ruby putting her stuff down as Zane came in behind her. "Dang it. Come on. Please i'll clean the house or do whatever you want?" Said Henry. "You got yourself into this mess. I gotta go. See you around nine thirty . . . ish. Bye." Said Ruby then hanged up on him. "Whats with him?" Said Zane taking out his wallet. "Henry thinks Charlotte is stealing his job while hes grounded." Said Ruby. "He's over thinking. Oh Adam Sandler and Pennywise. Nice." Said Zane smiling at her. They reached the car after paying for the stuff and getting in their seat.
After having dinner and a movie night Ruby walked with Zane holding some leftovers. "Ready to see the family?" Said Ruby while kicking the door twice. "Yeah. And dont forget the movies. My uncle hates clowns and Sandler for who knows what." Said Zane. "Maybe doesnt have taste in movies." Said Ruby as Henry opened the door. "Ruby and you must Zane." Said Henry. "Hi. Can i come in or have a slammed in my face?" Said Zane. "Right sorry come in." Said Henry. Ruby walked to the kitchen as Zane smiled at Kim and Piper who were watching Drake and Josh on the couch. "Nice to meet one of Ruby's friends. Are you stopping by or live here?" Said Kim. "Im actually her boyfriend. You haven't seen me because we are both busy with work. Her modeling and mine is engineering and construction." Said Zane sitting on the chair near the fireplace. "Lame." Said Piper. "Hey be nice." Said Ruby putting the food away. "How long have you been dating my Aunt?" Sais Henry. "Almost three years. We met my job working on the new Drop Tower." Said Zane. "You build the Drop Tower. I wanted to ride it." Said Henry. "Me too." Said Piper. "I didnt actually build most of it. I just helped with the mathematics." Said Zane. "Again lame." Sais Piper. "So if your under a ten to ride that youd be flying to an injury or death. Thats why im here." Said Zane. "Thats why we dont you two to end up like that. Especially Piper." Said Kim. "To bad your not riding unless your about Henry's age." Said Zane. "Well what are you working on now?" Said Henry. "Im took some off on a project in Florida. They're making splash mountain into a Disney Villain castle." Said Zane. "You didnt tell me that. I love the Disney Villains." Said Ruby walking over to him. "I know but i have to make it teen and adult appropriate. Somewhere in between since they're kids who get scared easily. Like my little sister who's scared of Lotso the bear amd the Dummies from Toy story." Saud Zane as Ruby sat on his lap. "I have some ideas." Said Piper. "So do i?" Said Henry. "Save it. Since you two did cost your parents a webpage. You have to the chair position for two hours. Starting now." Said Ruby giving a look before they can start complaining. Piper and Henry groaned walking to the wall near the stairs squatting down low enough to look like they're sitting with their arms stretch out. "I love you, My Maleficent." Said Zane. "I love you too, Hades." Said Ruby pecking his lips.
