"You smoked pot yesterday?!" Buffy exclaimed, staring at Willow.

"According to Oz, yes. I don't why, I don't even really remember doing it. But I woke up with a hangover this morning in his spare bedroom. Then I saw the news report and realized something supernatural must have happened."

"Yeah, some guy played his idea of a Magic joke. Only it's no joke because people died last night, Willow. And I killed some of them."

"What? How?"

"We turned into our costumes, Willow. I turned into an actual Lady Knight and killed monsters to protect people. Turns out those monsters were little kids who also turned into their costumes and I have to live with it."

"It's not your fault, Buffy." Willow tried to reassure her.

"Doesn't change the fact that it happened. I want so much for the willful avoidance spell to kick in so I never know I killed kids. But it's not going to kick in, is it? It can't, I know it exists and I know hiding from this will only come back to bite me later. And I'm already dealing with that in other ways right now."

"What else happened, Buffy?"

"Dawn transformed into a werewolf and now she's stuck as one. A brand new kind and that meant Mom had to be told about everything I've been putting off talking to her about."

"Oh, is your sister alright?"

"Actually she's kind of cool with it, at least right now. She took out three vampires single handily after they threatened her, me and Mom, which I'd have a hard time doing. Then she went looking for other wolves and found Alex and Cordelia, to help protect her they're making her part of their pack and helping Mom get custody. She's calling herself Sassy doo whenever she turns into a werewolf, which she can do anytime she feels like it, just like the Wolfbloods. Which is part of what makes her different than other werewolves. And until we know how the full moon affects her she'll have to be locked up just in case, like other werewolves, she's not in control of herself during that time. Oh and Mom wants to kill Giles."

"Please tell me he doesn't think your sister should just be killed like she's a demon or something? From what Alex has said, werewolves are shape shifters too, sort of, certainly not demons and responsible ones lock themselves up so they don't accidentally hurt someone, so he should have no reason to want to hurt her."

"No, Dawn falls under Sunnydale secrets and Giles' own research on werewolves shows they're not a threat. No, Mom's blaming him for me being a Slayer and like everyone else doesn't understand why he thinks it's an honor I should be jumping with joy over. And it turns out he knows the guy who did the Magic trick that caused all this. They used to summon a demon to get high and Giles never realized he's still connected to the demon. Which could decide to possess him at anytime and kill us all."

"Oh. Yeah, now I want to kill him too. The repressed Watcher who thinks you should be happy to be sacrificed to demons so he and others like him can pretend they're the ones fighting demons used to summon a demon. And he did it to get high? On purpose? What kind of idiot does that?"

"I don't know, but he better stay clear of Mom, because she's liable to snap on him. So you got high too, huh?"

"Now I know why, I turned into hippie Willow last night. And I'm craving a hit. I can remember bits and pieces of being high and enjoying the floaty feeling. Not so much the hangover though. That made me feel like my head falling off would be a good thing, because than it wouldn't hurt anymore. So what do we do now, Buffy? How do we deal with the after affects of what happened to us all yesterday? How do we help other people deal with it?"

"Well, I'm going to beat the crap out of a bunch of vampires for the cathartic release of the bad feelings I'm experiencing while pretending each one of them is the guy who did that spell. You and Johnathan want to come along and make sure I don't accidentally get myself killed before or when I actually get to the cathartic part?"

"Sure, what are friends for? And will you intercept me if you see me talking to Devon to buy some pot from him to satisfy the craving I'm having until I work passed it?"

"Most definitely."

"What about your Mom and sister? How do we help them?"

"Well, we can help Dawn by supporting her when she goes through the pack adoption ceremony to officially become part of it. And we can keep Mom from killing Giles. As temporarily satisfying as it might be, she doesn't deserve to have to feel the crap I'm currently dealing with knowing those so-called monsters I killed were actually kids. No wonder Ms. Norton jumped at the chance to save Kami from ever having to deal with this feeling herself. This might just be Hell, Willow."

"Do you have any other news before we go collect Johnathan?"

"In order to disconnect Giles from the demon he use to summon he has to do a Magic rite called the Ritual of Disavowal. It involves cleansing himself in a hot spring and then Molly using Magic to burn Eyghon's mark off of him. Which is going to hurt a lot."

"Well, he should have thought of that before deciding to get high. And now I really I want to avoid buying any pot from Devon and getting high again myself."
