"The Bronze and make out point are where human activity might draw it's attention." Alex suggested. "Make out point is near Miller Woods and having encountered us in Miller Woods last night would probably avoid that area."

"We should cover it anyway, just to be on the safe side. " Johnathan suggested. "Given that it's probably the least likely place for this werewolf to show up, Ana and I could cover it."

"I could give you a crash course in using a tranq pistol." Alex offered. "And you keep your phone off, but charged, so you can call If it does show up or you run into another problem."

"Show me too." Ana told him. "Best that we both can handle it." Alex nodded.

"Willow, Giles and I could cover the Bronze." Buffy offered. "I don't like guns, but Giles could handle the tranq gun and I would have my strength and Willow can help keep watch."

"Very well." Giles agreed.

"I'm game." Willow nodded.

"And the pack and I will alert Uncle Rory so he can talk to the rest of the wild pack, try to keep them from doing anything and my pack and I will patrol between the town and the National Forest, try to head it off if it tries to go in that direction and the police will concentrate on dealing with vamps, because the last thing we need is to have all of this botched by a vamp sticking their nose into things."

"And werewolves think they stink too." Jesse said wryly. "And tend to react negatively to running into one. Problem with that is that a werewolf is probably on a fledge level in terms of strength and doesn't get stronger as it gets older, like vamps do, so while it can mess a vampire up, sometimes badly, unless it gets lucky, the chances of it dusting a vampire on its own is slim."

"Unless you're Sassy Doo!" Dawn exclaimed. "Than vampires beware!" Dawn's attempt to lighten the mood worked and everyone was able to head out feeling optimistic about their chances of finding and hopefully helping the werewolf."

Johnathan and Ana carefully made their way along Miller Woods and make out point, keeping an eye out for anything noteworthy and trying to avoid hearing anything from the cars of the teenagers currently making use of make out point when Johnathan thought he'd seen movement a little deeper into the woods and quietly whispered in Ana ear. The two moved cautiously into the woods, tranq pistol ready in case they ran into the werewolf. Instead they ran into something more troublesome when Johnathan suddenly found himself hoisted into the air in a net snd dropped the tranq pistol.

"Gotcha!" A voice yelled as Ana stepped in front of the captured Johnathan and glared at the man with a gun pointed at her. "What the -?"

"Who are you and what do you think you're doing?!" She demanded.

"I'm hunting, not that it's any of your business."

"Actually it is, human hunting is illegal in these woods."

"I'm not hunting a human." He smirked at her.

"Than let me clarify, hunting by humans is illegal in these woods. Make out point is right at the edge of these woods, you could all too easily hurt a human."

"So can what I'm hunting and I know for a fact that's it's not illegal to hunt them."

"You're hunting the werewolf." Ana realized and glared at the man.

"You know they're real?"

"I know a lot of things are real that the world isn't ready to admit to. But hunting a werewolf in Sunnydale isn't allowed either."

"And who's going to stop me, you? Don't make me laugh."

"Apparently you're unaware of the fact that there's actual wolves in these woods and they're protected by the city. Hunting a werewolf endangers the wolves. I will simply call the police and have you arrested." Ana reached for the phone Molly had purchased for her and Johnathan had taught her to use.

"Don't move, girlie." The man kept his gun aimed at her.

"Now you're threating me? I wish to inform you that my guardian is friends with the Mayor of Sunnydale and both of them will cause you considerable harm if you don't let my boyfriend and me go!"

"Tonight's hunt's a bust anyway, but you just keep your hands where I can see them while I ease out of here." The man slowly backed up and when he was several feet away, turned and walked out of the woods toward make out point.

"While I really don't like the fact that you put yourself between me and a gun," Johnathan said softly from where he was still swinging in the net. "I'm also going to admit that watching you stare down that idiot was amazing. Now how do I get out of this net?"

"I think we need to start carrying knives, those pocket knives I saw on a commercial would be good. I'm going to call for help. Molly, I think would be best, the others are still covering their assigned areas. But then we need to let them know there's a werewolf hunter in town."

"How did he know?" Johnathan asked. "Last night was the first time anyone knew there was a werewolf in town, so how did a hunter find out so fast. Fast enough to lay a trap."

"But not bother to do any research." Ana pointed out. "Because while he did manage to find the woods the werewolf was seen in, he didn't know there are actual wolves around and that hunting in Miller Woods is illegal."

"Unless he tracked the werewolf here." Johnathan suggested. "That's a possibility, but you're right, he should have done some research. I hope he doesn't try to hunt in the Forest, the wild Wolfbloods really won't react well to him being in the Forest."

"I believe that is a very big understatement."
