July 24

Sorry, another political blog. And you might know what this will be about. Again, this won't be too negative. I promise.

Sunday, President Biden withdrew from the race. After his term ends next January, he will no longer be America's president. And judging by his age, probably never again.

Biden no longer seeking reelection might be for the best since after the last debate, his performance was questionable, especially at the beginning. He said he had a cold. He should have said that at the beginning, so his poor performance was better understood. But people were questioning his health and his age before the debate too. He did get Covid shortly after, so that might have made his chances even worse. And I hate to admit it, but Trump is in better health. But he's old too. He's in his seventies. But I still don't want him. Another younger president plese!

He did endorse his VP, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic nominee. I was a bit worried that if he stepped down, who would go against Trump next. But since it's his VP, and since both share similar values, my nerves have been eased. Now, the question is, who will Kamala's VP be?

As stated before, Biden will still be president until his term ends. I'll miss him in the White House, but also as stated before, this is for the best. Now he can just enjoy life for however long he has left, assuming if he's quitting politics altogether that is. The White House needs someone who is younger and has better health. It'll be good in the long run, not just for them and their wellbeing, but for the whole country.
