YES, I'M FINALLY ON TIME AND EARLIER TO POST MY ANNIVERSARY CHAPTER. It's been 5 years since I've started this story, and boy did this story change over the years.
THANK YOU ALL for sticking with me, motivating me and leaving your wonderful reviews. In spirit of the anniversary, I will leave a Q/A on this chapter.
Also I saw the recent Loud House movie with Myrtle. GOD DANG IT! This is messes up my lore but yet it also helps me out a bit. Although I don't plan for this story to go on forever. However, I do have more material to work with.
Now the reviews:
NiteOwl18: They do for a while but when they fall. They fall hard. I'm trying to do more with Minor characters, giving them their identity without Lincoln getting involved.
Guest99: Hopefully soon but since she's a Casagrande character, those moments will be rare.
Guest: Overall that chapter was to establish underused characters. I wanted to give them a foundation they could stand on without any major characters getting heavily involved. This helps to expand the world. Huggins & Graves are old-school style teachers but remained flexible enough to understand that the world has changed.
Rusty gets lower and worse. It was weird that Rusty and his old group never got an episode together. Granted TLH got renewed for another season, so here's to hoping again.
Finally, this shows a contrast between Huggins's and BLoud's versions of Huggins. Cookie QT is going to her chapter soon.
Tornado man: That's season 5/6 material so that'll likely change
Pirohiko-Baltazar: Nah, I wasn't going that crazy with Lincoln's involvement. Yes, the protagonist but I can't have him do everything.
Wiley E Coyote: YOU GOT IT! Fillmore is a show that I frequently binge-watch.
Solon75: Ugh man I know how you feel about a device messing up when you have stuff to do. I'm looking for a better laptop sometime in the future.
For my Trope Tetris series, I've decided to make a basic version accessible to everyone and then make an advanced supporter-exclusive version. This helps to keep my audience engaged without keeping everything behind a paywall. Soon, I post my stuff DA on my Kofi page and my backup Buymeacoffee account. Plus I'm looking forward to expanding my skillset with digital art or product.
Minor characters deserve a spotlight every once in a while. Jenny hasn't had a major role since Act 1. In the same way, everything else can be gambled: games, bets and more.
Oh some characters will be gambling addicts in the Crystal Prison sequel.
BookishPotat: Glad you enjoyed it. What were your favorite moments, chapters or characters so far?
Chandler and his crew marched towards certain death as funeral bells tolled in their minds. Other students gossiped under their breath as they dragged their heels. Frantic thoughts buzzed in their decayed minds as the noose tightened. Where did they go wrong? What did they go wrong, barely able to confidently answer a handful of questions? They didn't know what to think anymore. Huggins' orders yanked them to the gallows as all guilty criminals should. Their racing hearts suffocated them like an anchor, witnessing Cheryl's disappointed expression. She guided them to Huggins' office and closed the door.
"Chandler McCann, Sadie Jones, Jordan Peters, Patrick Wheeler, Fredrick Thompson, Dirk Anderson," Huggins acknowledged the perpetrators, each flinching upon hearing their names. "Stealing the answers to Mrs. Graves' test, cheating, breaking and entering, and assaulting fellow students by dousing them with water in cold weather," He sternly listed their crimes. The students' bodies were frigid glass, shuddering with cracks forming from the heat. "I've been teaching for decades, probably before your parents were born," Huggins fumed. He wanted to be enraged at this situation. Yet he can't. His position as Principal warrants a calm demeanor as he delivers the most appropriate unbiased punishment. "Never. In my life or career, have I witnessed something this vile, selfish, or deplorable among students. I expected this behavior from middle or high school students, but no. Rivers and Ramirez have NEVER encountered or even heard of such behavior. Not even Superintendent Chen," Huggins reprimanded. Royal Woods is among the safest places to live and raise a family for generations. It's their pride and joy. He won't say they've never had a scandal, but those were minor news segments. This! What these students have done can't be ignored in any capacity. No amount of wealth or negotiation is feasible for him to merely ignore it or sweep it under the rug. "The theft alone is enough to give you long-term detention and suspension, but your crimes against Jenny and Penelope warrant expulsion," Huggins slammed the hammer on them.
EXPULSION! Their eyes widened fearfully as the noose constricted. Some started to cry. EXPULSION? EXPULSION?! No, it can't. They can't be expelled. Not at their age in this era. Nobody wants that style of embarrassment following them like a shadow.
"Wait!" Flat Tire shouted desperately.
"Really? Did you wait when you doused Jenny & Penelope in the freezing cold, jeopardizing their health?" Huggins replied coldly, disinterested in their claim.
"We had help from Rusty," Papa Wheelie blurted out, hoping this could edge in their favor. Spokes helped them? "He even paid me for some answers, but I already spent it," This gamble was better than nothing, and they needed something. They nodded feverishly to confirm.
Huggins raised a scrutinizing brow at the boys, pondering this was a desperate lie. Rusty, Papa & Flat were a part of the same group before Rusty migrated towards Lincoln's group. The relationship is there. Furthermore, Rusty isn't the most academically disciplined student, which makes this a worthy heist. Huggins called Rusty to his office, arriving a few minutes later. Immediately, the redhead panicked, claiming they forced him to help them. Chandler's group exploded at Rusty, throwing them under the bus when Huggins stopped the argument. Huggins lets Rusty go due to a sheer lack of evidence but gravely warns that if he even catches a whiff of truth, he will be dealt with accordingly. Rusty nodded. Cheryl escorted him out, but not before taunting the group by crossing his fingers behind him.
Huggins caught that.
Rusty returned to the class, giving a phony explanation for what had happened. Lincoln raised a brow at Rusty's story. Something told him that Rusty's story didn't add up, and they had a math test too. Rusty was bizarrely confident despite his frequent lackluster grades and freakouts.

Lincoln was about to question Rusty's validity when an overwhelming ZIP bomb exploded into his nerves. His vision blurred with a HUD interface, directing him to Rusty.

Within an attosecond, before Lincoln could blink or process the information. It vanished. He smacked the back of his neck with bouncing, panicked eyes, searching for the source. Did someone jab a USB into his vertebrae? How?! WHY?! An inner part of Lincoln roared that a similar event happened but couldn't determine when, why, or how. He ignored it while his classmates continued to poke and prod Rusty's story for its inconsistency. Still, like a stubborn barnacle, he stuck to it.
Students occupied the library, quietly buzzing with studious activities. Numerous elementary students formed tiny study groups to complete assignments or get a head start. What happened with Chandler's group sparked them to be more diligent in their work.
"Hey, Linc, quick question," Liam asked, getting Lincoln's attention. "Out of all your sisters, who's the scariest?"
Lincoln and Clyde shared a glance. "Leni," They declared straightforwardly.
"Leni?" Girl Jordan questioned. "But she's a sweetheart,"She claimed as the table nodded. That's her archetype. Leni's the ditzy blonde with a golden heart and wonderful fashion sense.
"It's a perfect cover because you don't know how unhinged she can be. She's smarter than she looks," Lincoln divulged. "Lola is overbearing. Lisa can use you for an experiment. Lucy is spooky. Luan has her pranks. Lori and Lynn are intimidating. Those are usual suspects," He explained on who's the most likely ones to be the scariest.
"Leni? I'm somewhat convinced that she committed murder or threatened someone," Clyde mentioned. Did she have help to cover it up is another story.
"Oh she did threaten someone," Lincoln clarified.
"Who?"
"Ronnie-Anne," Lincoln answered, writing down some notes.
"What?!" They exclaimed. The librarian shushed as they whispered an apology.
"I thought that was Lori," Clyde muttered at this new information. "What did she do to Ronnie?" He prodded. Although he can't fathom Leni making Ronnie scared yet it happened.
"I don't know the full details but when she used to live here, Ronnie sometimes got tense when Leni was around," Lincoln commented, recalling how anxious she was often asking him if Leni was home when they started hanging out.
Chills stabbed Ronnie-Anne's nerves, jolting her body as her panicked eyes searched for it. What was that?! Why did her mind go straight to Leni? Ronnie Anne hauntingly remembered after she gave Lincoln a black eye and kissed after Jean-Juan's. Leni pulled her aside one day and pulled out a switchblade or scissors. Ronnie couldn't remember which one it was, only experiencing pant-pissing terror. The 2nd Loud sister's hand uncharacteristically trembled with tears in her eyes and a shaky smile telling Ronnie never to hurt her brother again.
"Ronnie, are you okay?" Sid remarked on her stiff posture. This was new.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just remembering something I shouldn't do," Ronnie Annie answered with lukewarm sweat drops. Sid accepted it and focused on the lesson.
"When was the first time you noticed that Leni was a psycho,"
Lincoln paused, recalling that critical moment. They were in the living room watching TV. Well, Leni was watching TV while he was there reading one of his comics. It was a typical day. Supposedly.
"Would you kill for your little sibling?" The interviewer asked a group.
"No," Several people answered, while others gave a half-hearted shrug or maybe. Her eyes hallowed, and she gazed at Lincoln.
"I would start genocides for you," Leni blurted with a blank expression, yet holding a wide beam as she held his shoulder. Lincoln paused as her grasp chilled his body.
"Geno-what?!" Lincoln exclaimed, snapping his head towards her with a bewildered expression. Did she just say genocides?! Plural?! MORE THAN ONE?!
"I would take a bullet for you," Leni avowed, fully turning her body to him. "You won't even have to ask," She breathed, holding her intensely protective gaze.
"Uh Leni, you're um frightening me out," Lincoln stammered as sweat formed with rigid neck hairs. DID HER EYES FLASH PINK?!
"I would do whatever it takes," Leni's smile widened hauntingly before hugging him warmly.
"O-kay," Lincoln muttered as all the color drained from his face. Note to self: Sleep in the bunker for the night.
"Oh . . . wow, that was um," They muttered.
"Yeah, I know," Lincoln deadpanned. It's either Leni or Lynn being an overprotective, semi-murderous sister.
"What did you do to her?" Molly asked. They knew his sisters were overly protective of him, but this was another level.
"Why do you think I did something? Lisa could've done some experiments to make her like that," Lincoln considered, but the outrageous claim might have a level of truth. Lori's too dominant, but Leni's simplistic mind and gentle aura make her an ideal candidate. Who will believe that sweet Leni is a psycho?
"Suspicious," One of them whispered.
"No, it's not," Lincoln refuted, but they didn't believe him. He rolled his eyes, finding it pointless to argue with them. They resume their work. Rusty continued scrolling through his phone, ignoring the assignments. He paused, interested in the account. Chad Thunderstrike? Rusty's eyes glimmered at Thunderstrike's lifestyle. 'Another Lambo to the collection this month,' Rusty plugged in his headphones to listen to Thunderstrike's videos and clips
"WELCOME BACK TO THE CHANNEL STRIKERS! IF YOU WANT TO BE LIKE ME, HIT THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON AND TURN ON THE NOTIFICATIONS SO YOU CAN BE A STRIKER AS WELL! YOU GUYS ARE IN LUCK TODAY. WE GOT THE LEADER OF THE TITAN SYNDICATE, REX TITAN, THE FINANCIAL OVERLORD HIMSELF!"
Rusty listened and listened and listened. Falling towards the abyss that men aren't able to crawl back from.
"So Chandler got suspended," Alexandria remarked, practicing her katas in the gym. She glanced over to Lincoln, drawing in one of his books. They were in the gym, using this free time to relax and catch up. Neither had anywhere else to be for their lunch break, and Alexandria wanted details on what happened.
"And like 5 other people," Lincoln added. She paused, turning to him with a gobsmacked expression.
"5?!" Alexandria exclaimed with wide eyes. She heard bits and pieces from Jenny, Pandora, and the others about how Chandler and his group planned to steal Graves' answer key. Her tests were challenging but not impossible. "Was Trent or Richie one of them?" That's one fact Alexandria can confirm.
"Nah, they leaked the information to Huggins," Lincoln shook his head. Was he getting the portions right?
"To save their own necks?" Alexandria deadpanned with a raised brow. He nodded, erasing some lines and minor details. "Of course they did," She rolled her eyes, practicing a series of punches. It never ceases to amaze or disgust her for what people will do to avoid being punished for what they've done. That's why her parents got divorced. If only the guilty placed that amount of effort into solving the problem instead of avoiding responsibility, then none of this would've happened. "How long will they be suspended, or did they get expelled?" She questioned, getting herself ready for a roundhouse kick. The school can't sweep this under the rug, especially with Huggins. Chen will wear him like a scarf if the news gets word of this.
"Suspended," Lincoln answered, flipping a page and starting a new sketch. "It's going to be for the entire semester, the breaks, and probably the rest of 5th grade," His nonchalant comment broke her focus, overextending her kick and making her hop on one foot to keep her balance. She safely fell to the floor.
"Holy crap!" Alexandria shouted at the severe punishment. Some people will debate whether the punishment was too extreme. On the other hand, people would say the punishment is appropriate or lenient "For the rest of 5th grade," She muttered as chills crackled on her spine. How will they ever return their faces around Royal Woods again? "Where are they now?" The karate girl asked, as no one had seen them since this morning.
"Huggins placed them in detention for the rest of the day. Their parents are going to pick them up later," Lincoln remarked as they both shuddered at the idea of enraged parents entering the school. "They said Rusty helped them and paid them for the cheat sheet. Graves helps make the tests for other teachers," He cited as that buzzing sensation returned then left.
"Weren't Papa Wheelie and Flat Tire his friends?" Alexandria questioned, doing some light stretching to recover. They were a biker group before Rusty joined Lincoln's friends.
"And Sadie was his crush," Lincoln reported, looking up from his book. That got both of them thinking. Perhaps they used Sadie, Flat Tire, and Papa Wheelie to lure Rusty in with the temptation of several easy A's for a price.
However, Lincoln can't shake that dizzying static in the back of his head. Don't trust the rust. Who said that? Why did they say that? He ignored it for now.
Alexandria watched his draw, relishing his gentle features as he focused on his art piece. Her gaze softened. Was Lincoln drawing her? He's been staring at Alexandria since they've been here. She enjoyed this Lincoln. The serene and creative artist who takes beauty in all things. Yeah, she first met the adaptive schemer with a warrior's spirit, but now. Alexandria wished she could've met this Lincoln first. Her face heated. Some of the QTs already had their moments with Lincoln. Jenny with her 'date.' Evelynn gained confidence during the fashion show and saved his younger sisters. Pandora joins Lincoln and his sister Lynn against one of Lisa's monsters and gets a kiss after the field trip. Besides the accidental kiss at Girl Jordan's party, she got nothing. An idea crafted in her mind.
"Hey, Lincoln," Alexandria muttered. He glanced at her, putting his art supplies down. She smirked, grabbing his hoodie as the shock gave her enough time to flip him and herself over. He landed on his back as she sat on his midsection.
"Alexandria, I swear to God if this awakens anything in me," Lincoln grumbled blankly as her smirk prolonged, poking him in the face with her bare feet. Unfortunately, no proper sentence structure would allow him to say that he's used to her being on top of him. The only good thing is that her feet don't stink.
"I can't awaken anything that's already there," Alexandria teased with a wink, enjoying this small victory. He rolled his eyes while she giggled and helped him up. The pair enjoyed their lunches.
Alexandria had a bundle of gyros with creamy tzatziki and crunchy pita chips on the side. Lincoln had a similar meal: a handful of triple-layer burritos with salsa and homemade smoky cheese sauce. They exchanged one of their wraps for the other. Alexandria's tastebuds were bombarded by savory and smoky flavors as her eyes watered. She dipped the burrito into the tzatziki and munched some pita chips to soothe her flaming taste buds. He chuckled, effortlessly devouring his gyros. It's easy on his palette, incorporating a gentle heat from the meat and peppers. Was this lamb? The meat was sweeter compared to beef or pork. Lincoln listed Mediterranean foods on his father's potential menu for their restaurant. Another fusion restaurant, or will they do a monthly theme? They finished their meals and packed up a few minutes before the bell rang. Alexandria mildly groaned, holding her filled stomach, but kept her grin. That burrito was filling. Feeding 11 children isn't easy, but the father made it satisfyingly tasty. Lincoln's hunger was also slated. His gullet wasn't bursting yet remained comfortably filled. Alexandria wrapped her arm around Lincoln's shoulder as they strolled to the cafeteria. A sweet treat called to them. It's her treat.
"Alright, class," Ms. Lauren announced, clasping her hands to gather their attention. They were in the arts & crafts + shop class with a clear divider to avoid confusion. "Today, we're learning about perspective and portion. We have volunteers to model for us," She directed their attention to Haiku and Cristina. "Do as much as you can before the timer goes off. Who's first?" The blonde woman informed, focusing her gaze on the girls.
"I'll go," Cristina offered. Lauren smiled, gesturing to the room's center. Evelynn rolled her eyes with a gag before securing her safety goggles and began working. The room was soon filled with mechanical whirring and pencil scratching as students did their assignments. Lauren patrolled around, offering quick suggestions and critiques. Lincoln is among the few who don't need help. Other students went to him with whispers or peeking over to copy his technique.
"Switch seats," Lauren informed as the timer blared. They swapped seats, starting a new perspective sketch on Cristina. She remained in the center. Her pose was simple and elegant, holding her skirt as if it was flowing in the wind and twisting her body in the opposing direction with a closed-eyed, serene expression. This pose didn't ache her body for holding it for an extended period. Annabelle helped her out. Cristina was experienced in being the center of attention, noting various shows from glee club and performing in her church's choir. That's where she met Lincoln. Remorse washed over her, remembering how she treated him. They're better now, but she hopes they can go beyond that.
"Time," Lauren declared, with several students groaning. They didn't get a chance to finish their pieces. "Turn in what you have," She informed, gesturing for Haiku to take Cristina's spot. The girls smiled, giving the other a high five. Haiku grabbed a chair and sat to read one of her books. Simple and effective. Students were divided into groups; those who completed a decent sketch and went to their art and those stalling for time. Rusty attempted to bribe one of his classmates. Lincoln was one of the first ones. Lauren smiled, inscribing a bright red A+ and a sticker for both sketches.
"Good work as always, Lincoln," The teacher praised, returning the sketches to him. He smiled; his friends glanced at this latest art piece. Their eyes marveled. Cristina stood in a verdant meadow, lavishing in the gentle breeze. Despite his stellar grades, Lauren gave him bonus points for this stylish direction. Cristina's eyes glimmered. Was that how he saw her? She smiled with remorse. Lincoln sighed internally, handing it over to Cristina.
Her eyes widened. As did many others in the room. "I can," Cristina paused, her hand twitching for the sketches.
"Yes," Lincoln confirmed. Cristina smiled, tenderly holding it to her chest. She tightly wrapped her arms around his neck in a sudden embrace. Lincoln casually returned it with a confused expression. His classmates shrugged as they lined up for their grades. Haiku smiled. His heart has begun to heal. She frowned at the grimacing Rusty, giving him an observant side-eye, recalling the earlier tarot reading. Hopefully, it doesn't come true.
Evelynn gritted her teeth with boiling blood, snapping the wooden board in half.
"...Oh," She muttered, staring at the two pieces.
"Did you just snap that board?" One of her classmates asked
"No. It was already old when I got it," Evelynn lied through her teeth. She returned to her station but not before venomously glaring at Cristina, who gazed at the sketch.
They have one final class before the day ends. However, there's something on Haiku's mind. Luckily, she found someone who could give her clarity on her situation.
"Lucy, may I ask you something?" Haiku asked. Out of all Lincoln's sisters, Lucy is the closest to him emotionally.
"Of course," Lucy agreed, knowing why her best friend was here.
"Lincoln. . . has been gazing at me a lot lately, especially with his sketchbook," Haiku started, briefly pausing as her face heated. His sapphire eyes periodically focused on her, taking in her dark form and presence and transferring that to his canvas during art class. Lincoln's gaze remained after that, pencil and sketchbook in hand. "Is he using me as his muse?" She whispered, briefly slipping back into her old accent. Haiku has only been goth for a year before meeting Lincoln. Worry chilled her soul, fearing that she'd lose her gothic appeal if she relapsed. No! Haiku erased those thoughts away. Lincoln isn't that shallow.
"Mhm, I don't know. I took an oath of sibling secrecy," Lucy smiled coyly, fully aware of his reasoning. "Perhaps you should ask him yourself," the younger sister smirked, motioning to her older brother. Haiku nodded and went to him.
"Lincoln," Haiku asked, startling him and forcing him to shut his locker.
"Hey, Haiku," Lincoln replied sheepishly, pushing his back against the metal frame.
"What do you have behind your back?" Haiku pointed out.
"It's . . . something," Lincoln implied, avoiding her enduring stare. "Lucy and I are planning something for your birthday," He confessed sincerely. "It's not finished," There's still some time to get it done but he wanted it to be perfect for her birthday. Lucy won't allow him to die peacefully otherwise.
"Okay," Haiku acknowledged with a smiling nod as she backed off. Grateful for Lincoln's honesty towards her.
"Elder brother," Lisa interjected, directing his focus to the tiny scientist. "We received a message from Lori. 'Someone is messing up with Leni, and we need your expertise. We could do it ourselves, but we don't want to get in with Rivers and our parents,'" She read as his gaze sharpened.
Lincoln cracked his neck and knuckles. "Alright," Haiku and Lucy were mildly disturbed by Lincoln's casualness.
"I'll inform Ms. Johnson of your absence," Lisa added before handing the information over. "Here's the details," Lincoln scanned the details, taking note of the girls harassing Leni. Oh great, it's a bunch of wannabe mean girls. He returned, ruffling Lisa's hair before sprinting to his bike.
A crowd formed within RWHS halls as the eldest Loud sisters stood defiantly against a group of haughty, flashy, bougie girls who star in a mature Netflix series centered around teenagers exploring their sexuality. Yeah, those creepy shows. Why don't they set these shows in college or something?
"Oh, I'm not going to do anything, but Lincoln will," Leni smirked, as did the other sisters. Luna's smile widened, hearing the incoming bike engine.
"Your little weirdo brother? What the fuck is he doing to do?" Vanessa scoffed. She's the trio leader with overly bright blonde hair and flashy clothes. You know the type. She is obnoxious and entitled, and she believes the world should cater to her flimsy whims since she's so cute. Vanessa laughed with her two cronies, Savannah and Olivia.
"Wring your neck!" Lincoln bellowed as the engine roared throughout the hall. Fractions of a second passed. He stood, activating the emergency stop to rocket him through the air. His sisters calmly made room with a smile. Vanessa's eyes widened as Lincoln delivered a brutal missile kick. She crashed to the floor as people gasped with dropped jaws at his attack. Where did he come from?! Her satellite cronies were next on his list. Lincoln used her face as a springboard, launching him to Oliva for a hammer fist to the skull. She whined, holding her aching forehead stumbling to the ground. His cold eyes analyzed the startled Savannah for weaknesses or openings. High heels? It's those uncomfortable stilettos where it's difficult to even stand, let alone walk. She wobbled with a step back from his gaze. He bolted, spearing his foot into her left shin, dismantling her balance. Lincoln used this gap to flip her like an omelet. Savannah groaned, shutting her eyes in pain before jolting upright when Lincoln crashed his elbow into her exposed stomach. Onlookers winced, covering their eyes as she held herself in a fetal position.
"You little piece of bird shit," Vanessa snarled. "Do you know who-"
Lincoln interrupted, striking her jaw, knocking spit trickles on the tile. "Nope. Don't know and don't care." He ignored the classic 'Do you know who I am' spiel. Lisa did a report on Vanessa and her friends. She's nobody special. Just a stereotypical catty bratty high school girl who values nothing but her physical appearance. Lincoln sat on her chest, disrupting her body's center of gravity, making her unable to rise. He pushed moderate force behind his barrage, seeing no need to exert himself. Weak. His sisters watched casually while onlookers winced at the power behind those strikes. Lincoln's still a kid, but his attacks must still hurt.
"Please stop, I'm sorry, please," Vanessa begged. Her eyes were watery with a bruised and swollen face. He tightens his fist again, raising it for another attack.
"Lincoln, that's enough," Leni ordered. Lincoln turned to her and nodded. He stood and dusted his hands from the tears, foundation, and snot. Vanessa snarled as onlookers began to laugh and snicker at her. Her blood boiled with gritted teeth and pulsing veins. In a span of a few seconds, she was on top then this little shit came out of nowhere and scrapped all three of them. She yelled, flexing her manicured talons to rip his eyes out. Leni intercepted it with a brutal punch square in her nose and a moist crunch.
"Woah, Leni," Lincoln mouthed. Leni shook her hand and rotated her wrist to ease the sprain. The laughter increased.
"The fuck are you guys laughing at me for?!" Vanessa exploded nasally. "She's the dumb bitch you had to use her little brother to fight for her," The faux queen bee whined, holding her bloody nose.
"Talking a little too loud and spicy for someone who's pussy's drier than a Popeye's biscuit," Lincoln deadpanned as his sisters gawked with dropped jaws.
"Oh, oh, oh, oh shit!"
"Lori, isn't she the one who has 3 boyfriends?" Lincoln mentioned, shooting a look at his eldest sister
"5, actually," Lori corrected. "And one of them is dating her," She pointed to the pale Savannah.
"You damn slut!" Vanessa spat, tackling the number two in the group.
"Oh, shut up! You're just mad that he likes me instead of you, Ms. Little Caesar. Hot and ready for a low price," Savannah snapped, attempting to push off Vanessa and keep her delicate hair intact.
"At least I'm not a thief like her!" Vanessa accused, pointing to Oliva, who's fixing her curly hair. "I know you stole one of my necklaces," She narrowed her brown eyes.
"You never cared about it before!" Oliva exploded, getting sick of her hypocrisy. The guy who got it for her was definitely one of the better ones. "You're the last person to lecture me about stealing while having several boyfriends. Probably should get tested," She sneered, gesturing to some of the boys. Vanessa pounced, leading a savage catfight between the girls.
"Sheesh," Lincoln winced at the shrieking and hair-pulling. "Are catfights always this bad?" He muttered to his older sisters.
"Oh no, this is actually pretty mild compared to what we see," Luna answered. His eyes widened at her claim. This was mild?! Students eventually separated the group as they futilely attempted to grab each other.
"No wonder you're envious of Leni," Lincoln scoffed, resting his hands in his hoodie.
"I'm not jealous," Vanessa fumed, holding a toxic glare. Her polished face was scuffed with minor cuts and bruises scattered all over.
"I said envious you discount back page GTA prostitute looking bitch," Lincoln nitpicked.
"Write that down," Mr. Coconuts whispered to Luan. Luan needs more material for roasting trolls in her comment section.
"Okay, I'll dumb it down to your level. Envious means you want what other people have, while jealous is when you're protective of what you have, fearing that someone will steal it," Lincoln explained the difference between the words.
"Why?" Vanessa grumbled.
"Let's see," Lincoln started. "A genuinely loving family. Good friends. Becky, Jackie, Mandee, if you make Leni cry, I'll use your spine as a backscratcher, drown you in the bay, and toss you in Lisa's bunker for any twisted experiments that violate the Geneva Convention," He coldly threatened the trio. Jackie and Mandee clung to each other in fearful comfort.
"Lincoln, what the fuck?" Becky whispered. She shared a glance with the other girls. What did they do? Why's Lincoln coming for their necks? Furthermore, Becky's redhead, so she should be one of the potential crushes and get a slight pass. No, you don't, Becky.
"You're on the list too, Samantha," Lincoln warned, redirecting his focus to Luna's girlfriend. She paled. "These hands are pansexual; anyone can get it," He cracked his knuckles to emphasize his point. "Now back to you," Lincoln resumed, marching towards Vanessa after a student released her. "Leni is an incredible, loving, hardworking person with a great sense of style and the heart to match," He roughly grabbed her tank top, glaring coldly, deeply into her shocked pupils, "But you? What do you have?" Lincoln seethed, wondering where she got this hubris. "You're an off-brand, half-baked mean girl attempting to imitate some random model from LA. Come on, have some authenticity, and lose your damn ego. You're from NEBRASKA, of all places, and living in middle-class Royal Woods, Michigan! You're nothing special!" He berated, alarming the other students. They had the same opinions of Lincoln, but not after beating her up. His 'nothing special' comment cut deeply. "Don't get me started on how you dress with those hair extensions you got from Wish. It's autumn," Lincoln scrutinized her attire. Wear a jacket or something because there's no way her parents allowed her to walk out of the house like that.
"Okay, that's enough," Lori interjected, placing a hand on his head. "Roasting girls' outfits is my job, twerp," She advised with a smirk, pointing to herself. "Head back to school; we'll pick you up later," Lori instructed, not wanting him to get in trouble with his teachers.
"Can I say more?" Lincoln offered.
"No," Lori and the other sisters refused.
"Okay," Lincoln shrugged, returning to his bike. "I'm watching you," He glared at the older girls. Becky crossed her arms while rolling her eyes. This plan better work. Lincoln heard the brutal insults from Lori as he pushed his bike when someone caught his eye. Bumper Jr. His face was rough cobblestone, glaring intensely at Luan. Huh? Did something happen between them recently? Wait! Benny and Luan finally kissed and confessed their feelings for each other before the play. Bumper Jr. must've seen that and was heartbroken. Lynn Jr. might be off his radar for now to focus on Luan. Lincoln sighed and began his swift journey back to school.
Lincoln returned to school and rushed down the hall to class. His ears picked upon belligerent shouting followed the mournful sobs from Huggins office. He frowned. Their parents were here and weren't happy. Some were former Ms. Graves students whose lessons helped them tremendously. Their stern voices edged with wrathful disappointment as embarrassment fueled their words. Lincoln raised a brow at Sadie's parents' announcement of moving to Canada before the summer break. That's excessive. However, Lincoln can't blame the parents for taking drastic measures. Royal Woods is a small town, so word travels faster than the latest internet trend. According to Lisa, the allure of academic dishonesty never appealed to him, likely thanks to his above-average intelligence. He continued to class as they exited Huggins' office, herded by their parents with sullen expressions and bloodshot eyes. Sympathy dug into Lincoln's heart, yet he can't feel sorry for them. This was a choice they made.
Agnes marked papers from the math test earlier today. She paused, narrowing her eyes at one of the papers and cross-examining several others. Graves assisted Agnes in creating the test, but the recent theft cast suspicion on several of her students. Cheryl reported that Rusty was a likely suspect in receiving the answer key in exchange for payment. The door opened, revealing Lincoln.
"Welcome back, Lincoln," Agnes smiled, putting the papers away. She'll deal with Rusty and a few of her students later.
"Sorry about that, Ms. Johnson," Lincoln smiled sheepishly before his instincts heightened. He hardened his face as he scanned the class, searching for the cause of it. They experienced the tension in Lincoln's gaze, frightful of what he was searching for. "Hey Kat, are you okay?" He asked gently.
"Yeah, why won't I be?!" Kat answered with a raised brow right before her face paled. She clasped her stomach. Oh no. No, why now of all times?! How many days was she off by, or did Mother Nature want to be a bitch and open the red river early?"Um, Ms. Johnson," Kat raised her other hand with a shaky voice. Feminine solidarity sprung Agnes into action as she stood.
"We'll get you to the nurse," Agnes declared, hoping nothing severe had occurred.
Lincoln raised his hand, making them stop in place. He reached into his bag and pulled out a small ziplock filled with female hygiene products and over-the-counter medication. Her eyes twinkled as Lincoln handed it to her. There's even chocolate!
"How did you," Kat muttered as her heart swelled joyfully. This is precisely what she needed. Did he always have this on hand for this exact situation?
"I have ten sisters. You learn a thing or two, probably 5," Lincoln replied with a nonchalant shrug. His sisters often had 'emergencies' either at home or school. A spare kit prevented tons of mishaps. Kat was among the older girls in school, around 12 or close to it. She glomped him.
"THANK YOU!" Kat crowed, tightly wrapping her arms around his neck. In her excitement, she pecked him on the cheek. Several gasps echoed.
"Don't start something you can't finish, Ketchum," Lincoln cautioned, breaking the hug and creating distance between them. She blushed. "My sisters are ruthless when it comes to my love life," He warned, gazing at the ceiling, wondering if Lucy was there. Kat glanced up too before rushing out of class. "What?" Everyone either stared or glared at him
"Can you sense when 'Aunt Flo' comes to town?" Liam questioned about that strange ability
"I don't know, I just somehow know," Lincoln droned blankly. He wasn't sure if Lisa did something to him or a sudden adaptation from living with 5 older sisters.
"Can't she just hold it?" Rusty moronically suggested. All the women gawked at him for that comment. What?
"That's not how it works," Lincoln responded.
"Is that your wise words, girl guru?" Rusty mocked with a bow. Stella raised a bow at the Girl Guru comment. Cookie whispered to her, explaining the disastrous incident months before she transferred.
"No, it's basic biology," Lincoln refuted as more jumped in, offering their disagreements on Rusty's statement.
"Alright, children, that's enough for right now," Agnes ended the debate, gesturing for Lincoln to sit down. She started the lesson by asking the students what media or literature they've become interested in, primarily books, shows, movies, and video games. Kat returned shortly. Lincoln referenced the SCP Foundation, the 'online' sci-fi community based on securing, containing, and protecting the public and sometimes the universe from anomalies. Lisa and Lucy got him into it. Anomalies can range from simple objects locked in a box to malevolent beings requiring complex measures to hopefully contain them. Zach and Stella heard about it as well. They mentioned 173, the Statue being that 'original' SCP requiring constant in-person vigilance to remain still; otherwise, if you blink or break eye contact, it'll snap your neck. That disturbed Agnes, wondering what media her students were consuming. However, the anomalies got them interested, and they asked numerous questions. Lincoln discussed his current favorite SCP, the Shy Guy. A ruthless creature that finds you anywhere globally by looking at its face. Also, it's bullet resistant and survives the ocean depths. One incident detailed that 096's hunting mode can be triggered regardless of how visible its face is. That incident revealed that 096's face was ONLY 4 pixels. The Foundation experimented with the idea that art depictions are safe and 096 can be contained by putting a simple bag over its head. Their intrigue grew, spitballing various theories and answers to create a narrative. The SCP foundation is a multiverse, so they're simultaneously right and wrong as fans can add their own stories to the universe, but that's the fun. Rusty frequently attempted to usurp the conversation but was ignored and shot down for his comments. So he grumbled until the day's end.
Hours passed. Rusty lay there on his room floor, his muscles burned in magma with desert lungs. His recommendations tabs sent him to Maximus Valor, a hyper-intense workout Adonis who collaborates with Thunderstrike and Rex. What was he thinking? Those bodyweight workouts were for advanced veterans only.
"Aw, what's wrong, you little bitch? Tired? Weak? Hurts too much. WELL TOO FUCKING BAD YOU LITTLE BITCH SHIT! If you want to stay there like a weak beta soy boy bitch while another man fucks the female you like and makes the money you could be making, then be my guest! In fact, do us all a favor and fucking kill yourself now to protect the gene pool," Bellowed a hyper-muscular man doing an extreme variant of a push-up as another man did crunches on his broad back. "SO GET THE FUCK UP SHIT-STAINED WEAKLING, AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" He challenged.
Rusty snarled, remembering the magazine cover with Lincoln and a pair of Lori's(?) friends. That should be HIM! Chandler got expelled or suspended from school, leaving his position as the most popular kid in school open. That's going to be him. That will be him. Rusty wobbled, ignoring the pain to resume Valor's workout as the toxic words corrupted his mind and inflated his underdeveloped ego.
"Good," Someone observed. The pieces are all coming together now. Which one will it be? Bumper Jr. or Rusty?
Oh shit, we got some DOUBLE-TROUBLE! Who's going to break first in this story? Chandler and his group will be out of the picture for a GOOD while. I don't think they'll take that lightly, especially with Rusty sipping that Alpha male-flavored Kool-Aid. Hint: It's going to suck! Also, I got something planned for Flip for getting away with too much stuff.
