Tim's phone buzzed. He rolled over and opened the text. The text read, Knock. Knock. Incoming. Tim rolled onto his back and groaned. Shouldn't this kid be in school, he wondered as he stood from his bed. Walking through the living room, he greeted Bernard. "Hey," he said.

"Hey," Bernard greeted brightly. "I didn't hear you come in last night…or this morning."

"Yeah. I got in an hour ago," Tim said as he opened the front door. "Dick," he greeted his younger brother. "What are you doing here at six in the morning?"

"Not my fault you choose to stay up for days at a time," Dick said as he shouldered his way past him. "Am I interrupting something?" Dick asked, looking between Bernard on the couch and Tim.

Tim frowned. His eyes widened as he realized both he and Bernard were shirtless and in their boxers. "No! No!" "Absolutely not!" Tim and Bernard exclaimed simultaneously. "And it's none of your business anyway," Tim growled before grabbing the young teen by the wrist and dragging him into his room.

"Hey, no judgment here," Dick laughed. "I wish I could live with me ex, too."

"Dick, Barbara is only an ex in your head, and Raven is not interested in dating someone her junior."

"You don't know that," he said as Tim shoved him into his room.

"And you don't know how old Raven really is. For all we know, she's 1000 years old."

"I don't see how."

"Why are you here? What do you want? Why aren't you on your way to school?"

"I'm here to talk about Raven," Dick said as he dug in his bookbag. "Can I use your computer?"

"Knock yourself out," Tim said before collapsing onto his bed. It's too early for this.

"So," Dick said, "remember when we all got our butts whipped by that demented 5-year-old?"

"I was there, Dick," Tim sighed.

"Anyway, because our eyes closed, our HUDs couldn't record anything, but…" Dick paused for effect. "The camera on my chest was working and pointed perfectly at Raven." Tim shot straight up when he heard that. "It caught everything that happened. Watch." Tim took Dick's place in front of the computer screen. From Dick's chest camera's point of view, he watched as Child teleported over to Flaw and then began cooing over him. Tim couldn't care less about what she was saying. The interesting thing was happening behind Child. Raven righted herself and began floating in the air. Tim then saw a pair of glowing…something…appear on her forehead. "Freeze," Tim said. Dick did. "Are those…eyes?" Tim asked.

"I wasn't sure. Any time I zoom in, the image becomes distorted," he replied before pressing play again.

Tim nodded and continued watching. He jumped when a giant, black spike appeared out of nowhere and pierced Flaw's chest. The monster screamed before bursting into tiny pieces. "So that's how she did it," Tim muttered.

"Oh, keep watching," Dick said.

He saw Child's form began to flicker. However, before she could disappear, a giant, black raven formed behind Raven. Raven shot her hand out, and the raven behind her grabbed Child with its claws. Raven then shot straight up into the air, out of frame. "Okay," Tim said.

"Keep watching," Dick said.

Tim was startled once again when Child's body was suddenly slammed into the ground. "What the…?" Child's form flickered. Once again, a black bird's claw snatched her body, carried it out of frame, and forcefully slammed it into the ground. It happened again and again and again and again. Child's form slammed on the ground again. Half of her face caved in, and she had multiple contusions. She had bones sticking out of her skin, and a black tendril was still wrapped around her. Her body was then lifted into the air, blocking the camera's view. Tim didn't know what happened, but in an instant, Child's form disappeared into thin air as if it had never been there. Raven then muttered something, opened her hands, and Dr. Fate's helmet appeared. She then collapsed to the ground. A moment later, Raven sat back up, rubbing her head in pain. She seemed confused and disoriented. She didn't even realize she was holding Dr. Fate's helmet. That was when she saw Dick and rushed to his side. The video ended there.

"What do you think?" Dick asked as he removed the USB from the computer.

"Have you shown Bruce?"

"Alfred made Bruce take a mandatory nap as soon as we returned. Then he refused Bruce entry to the Batcave over the weekend and all but dragged him onto his private jet so he could make a meeting in Berlin."

"So, no, you haven't," Tim said.

"I emailed him this morning. But what do you think that was? Do you think someone, or something took control of Raven and forced her to slam Child into the ground repeatedly?"

"I don't know," Tim answered honestly. "I still don't understand how her powers work." Dick nodded. However, his expression told Tim that the teen wanted to say more. "Dick, what is it?"

"I promised Raven I wouldn't say anything," Dick sighed.

"Well, now, I definitely want to know," Tim stood. "Tell me."

"I was watching Raven as she healed us the other day. It didn't seem like she was healing us, per se. It was more like she was trading her health for our injuries."

"What do you mean?"

"Artemis had open cuts and bruises on her face, but then the injuries somehow transferred to Raven's face."

"What?"

"Same thing happened with Zatanna. Zatanna's left arm was at a weird angle. After healing Zatanna's arm, Raven began favoring her left arm. She hid it in her cloak, but I kept watching. I didn't see her move arm again until right before Batman and I left the mountain."

"Okay," Tim leaned back on the desk. He didn't know specifically what to do with that information. It was Monday morning and the last time he slept was…he couldn't remember the last time he slept. Does losing consciousness count as sleeping? "Okay," he rubbed his eyes. "New plan. I am going to crash, and you are going to go to school. We will talk about this later. Don't bother Raven with this."

"Got it."

Raven, or Rachel as was her civilian name, watched as Richard slid in the seat across from her with his lunch tray. "Hello, Rachel," he greeted brightly.

He's a lot happier than usual, Rachel thought. "You're especially chipper today," Raven pointed out. "Will Barbara be joining us?" Rachel smirked. Barbara oozed jealousy, and it amused Rachel.

"She has a dentist appointment," Richard answered, "but I have a question for you."

"Go ahead," Rachel said as she brought her bottle of water to her lips.

"Do you sometimes grow four eyes that glow white?" Rachel spat the water out at the unexpected question and began coughing, drawing attention to their table. "Guess I should have waited until you finished drinking before asking that question."

Raven continued coughing for a few more seconds before taking another sip of her water. "Richard," she gasped, "where'd that question come from?"

"I have a video to show you."

Kent Nelson-Dr. Fate, Giovanni Zatara, Zatanna Zatara, Bloodwynd, Black Mary, and Amethyst sat at a table in the Hall of Justice. "Are we ready to begin?" Bloodwynd asked.

"We're waiting for one more person," Giovanni answered. Just as he finished speaking, a magic door appeared in the room, and Constantine walked through it. "Allo," he greeted everyone, "sorry 'ahm late."

"Typical." Zatanna folded her arms and scowled at him.

"I thought you had to be at least 21 years old to be part of the Justice League," Constantine plopped in a chair across from Zatanna, "I see at least 1 child at this table."

"I'm over 100 years old," Amethyst frowned.

"Batman requested Black Mary's presence for this meeting," Dr. Fate said. "She's representing the Shazam family, since they are currently fighting Darkseid on the other side of the universe."

"I was talking about Zatanna," Constantine said.

"I'm 25 years old," Zatanna said with a glare.

"Still a child," Constantine lit a cigarette.

"Really?" Zatanna folded her arms with a huff. "If I'm a child, what does that make you? You didn't think I was a child that night we – "

"Can we please stay focused?" Dr. Fate interrupted Zatanna.

"Especially because I don't want to know where my daughter was going with that sentence," Giovanni said.

"Batman," Dr. Fate turned to the giant dark screen in the world, "you have the room."

The dark screen turned on, showing Batman in an undisclosed location. "I'll make this quick," he said. "Robin sent me a video this morning, and I'm sending it to your holo-pads right now." A glowing blue screen appeared in front of each hero.

"I recognize Child, but who is the other female?" Amethyst asked.

"Her name is Raven," Batman replied. "She's an Azarathian Cambion who may be as powerful as you."

"As powerful as me?" Amethyst repeated as she watched the screen. A moment later, everyone was gasping.

"She destroyed Child's anchor," Constantine leaned forward. "Child should have puffed off. Unless…"

"Unless Raven is somehow keeping Child on this plane with her powers," Dr. Fate finished for him.

"Is that even possible?" Black Mary asked as she continued to watch wide-eyed.

"Woah!" the occupants of the room exclaimed when Raven slammed Child on the ground repeatedly. A flash of light, and Child was no more.

"Wait," Amethyst blinked in shock, "did she just kill a Chaos Lord?"

"It appears so," Dr. Fate said.

"But…that would take an immeasurable amount of power," Giovanni said as he stared at the screen.

"It would take an almost godlike amount of power," Constantine said, "but it isn't impossible."

"Who is this girl?" Black Mary asked.

"Has anyone here heard of Trigon?" Batman asked. The temperature in the room dropped, and the tension became palpable.

"We're aware of him," Amethyst answered stiffly.

"I'm not," Bloodwynd said.

"Neither am I," Black Mary chimed in.

"I'll fill you in later," Zatanna said, "though my knowledge of him is very limited."

"Amethyst," Batman said, "when is the last time you…sensed him in the magic world?"

"Well, I usually feel a magical disturbance related to him or his followers at least once a month, but he tends to leave this universe alone. The last time I heard a peep from his followers was…um…" Amethyst twisted her lips in thought. "Come to think of it, I have heard nothing from his forces in almost a year. Odd. Why are you asking?"

"Well, according to Raven, she killed him months ago."

"This girl killed Trigon?" Amethyst repeated in shock. "How?"

"Also, she's his daughter."

Amethyst's eyes widened as she stared at the frozen image of Raven. "How?"

"Do you seriously not know how a child is made?" Constantine asked. Constantine asked.

"I'm asking how she killed him," Amethyst said, glaring at Constantine.

"It's unclear how Raven was able to kill Trigon," Constantine answered. "From what she's told me, the attempt ripped her to shreds. She's not even sure how she's alive right now."

"She's not from this universe?" Amethyst's eyes grew wide. "How'd she get here?"

"I have people looking into that," Batman answered. "You and Dr. Fate are Lords of Order. What can we expect?"

"Chaos," Amethyst answered. "A lot of chaos."
