As he walks through the Southern Alliance base Lincoln could see troops getting ready for the operation. He let's out a sigh hoping that this operation can be another stepping stone into beating the loyalist and finally ending the war.
Lincoln reaches the mess hall and see's the soldiers eating and talking to each other he can see the soldiers that he came with eating and talking to each other. This brought back memories of when Lincoln and his friends had first joined the war effort but that was then and Know Lincoln is in the south preparing to smash there way through the US lines.
Lincoln grabs a tray and gets in line as the line continues to move he looks towards where the cooks are handing the troops there food.
As he gets to the front of the line Lincoln looks down at the tray of food it was Steak, Mashed potatoes, and green beans. " Eat up you boys are going to need it" The cook said to Lincoln "Thank you" Lincoln said as he walked over to an empty table and sat down by himself as he ate his food ' The lone wolf eats alone'.
Later as the sun sets the Southern Alliance and the thirty second ready to move towards Lexington " Attention all units this is General Jackson are offensive has been given the green light I repeat we have been given the green light all units advance" General Jackson said through the Radio channel. Soon the engine sounds of Humvee's APC's and Tanks come to life and began to move towards Lexington Virginia.
Eleven PM
Lincoln rushed to the side of a building as the sound of gunfire was heard throughout as AA fire is seen lighting up the night sky as fighter jets carry out attack runs. Lincoln looks through the scope of his rifle and see's US troops running to man a machine gun nest.
Lincoln fires a few rounds killing a few of the soldiers of the them loads the 50 Cal turns it around and fires, Lincoln takes cover behind the wall of a building.
" This is Lone wolf one to anyone receiving me I'm pinned down near the Jackson house Museum I need air support how Copy?" Lincoln asked through the comm channel " Copy that Lone wolf this is Bobcat 2-5 were en route to your location just hold tight" The voice of a Helicopter pilot said to Lincoln " Copy that" Lincoln said.
The voice of the pilot sounded familiar to him from his friend group but thinking about that would have to wait because know he was in the fight for his life. " Reload Reload!" he could hear the US soldiers shout as the Ammo for the 50 Caliber ran out.
Just then the sound of a helicopter was head they look up to see a Apache longbow open fire within seconds the soldiers that were shooting at Lincoln were killed.
" Lone Wolf this is Bobcat 2-5 your are in the clear" The Apache pilot said to Lincoln " Copy that thanks 2-5" Lincoln said as he moved from his cover and proceeded to the Museum.
Jackson House Museum
The outside was a full scale war zone Southern Alliance soldiers were taking cover as machine Gunfire rained down on them from the inside of the building. Lincoln arrives to see the chaos unfold it wasn't long until he spots an entrance that's reads employee's only He soon get's an Idea.
Lincoln spots four soldiers who were taking cover from machine gunfire and rushes towards " Hey You Four" he said to them getting there attention. " I have an Idea on how to get side this place but I'm gonna need you to trust me!" Lincoln shouted over the gunfire. The four soldiers look at each other and nodded.
They look over towards " what's the plan sir?" One of them asked Lincoln." Okay were gonna go through the employee entrance on the side of the building then were gonna push through and clear out the enemy understood?" Lincoln asked them. The soldiers nodded there heads.
" Okay on three. One..Two...Three!" he shouts and the four soldiers follow him towards the employee entrance dodging enemy fire as the reach the side of the building. Lincoln looks at the four soldiers that are with him " Okay this is it boys let's get the job done" Lincoln said as pushes the door open silently and enters the building with the others following behind him.
As the move through the building they could hear the gunfire and the footsteps above them. " Okay were right under neath them now what?" One of the soldiers asked. Lincoln looks back at them " We clear them out " Was all he say to them. " Quick up the stairs" Lincoln orders them as they make there way up thorough the building.
