Alright, here's the 7th chapter I brought for you!
WARNING!!!
There will be mild gore, PTSD, and death
Madison felt her consciousness began to stir when she felt her body was sore. Opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was some kind of woven dried leaves above her. She quickly got up, but winced as she felt another surge of pain darted across her forehead.
She scanned around, finding herself in a small hut made out of plant materials. At first, she was confused as to why she was here, and then she remembered yesterday. Sneaking out from the station without getting caught with Tasha's help, hearing the most beautiful singing voice that would surely rival the singers, she was able to reunite with Celeste, and passed out after a rather unusual surprise in her life.
If you're awake now Madison, I expect you to come down here and have breakfast with us.
"GAH!" Maddie yelped when she heard that voice out of nowhere.
It's telepathy. You won't be scared by that.
Oh wait. That's Celeste's, did she just invade her mind just to startle her up? And the thought that the Asian girl could read/feel her thoughts made her whole physical body struck by a joy of lightning. That powder blue dust surely has an incredible magic!
Um, Celeste, the brunette carefully communicates her thoughts, I know this is sounding cool but-
We would like to discuss here together, Celeste replied back, And it's rude to have you eating alone with your food; why not join us?
Joining a breakfast with her best friend and the Titan Rulers?
The brunette's head is filled with excitement, yet hardly recognizable are the emotions of telepathy. Not only that, she is hungry too. She hasn't eaten last night because she just passed out from shock.
Heck yes! Maddie pumped her fist triumphantly.
She didn't have time to change, only her hair tangled messily off the head. Brushing them through her fingers, she walked out attentively in the hut and caught her best friend glancing at her. Also, Godzilla and Mothra were there too.
Taking a deep breath, she slid down a vine-like ladder, almost slipped after she reached the ground. She bit her lip, nervous to stare into their eyes. She hated the feeling when somebody stared back at her for some discrimination like an unwanted stranger.
"Kid, you shouldn't stare at us like you're seeing a space noodle's ass," Godzilla says.
Madison let out a loud squeal like a fan to the celebrity, jumping like a 5-year-old child, startling the King and Queen (well, Mothra is smiling by the human girl's amusement).
"OH, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, CELESTE!!!" She exclaimed, rushing to the Asian girl and gave a tight hug. Celeste didn't seem to mind the tightness of the brunette's bone-crushing hug, she smiled thankfully.
"I appreciate your excitement, but will you settle down for a moment?"
Madison's eyes bugged out, and she let go of him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hug you like that, you know I'm super happy about it-"
Celeste placed her hands on the Monarch Director's daughter and spoke calmly. "There's nothing to be ashamed of; that's your wish, isn't it?"
"Uh-huh!"
She swirled her hand to reveal a glittery substance, much like a light blue dust, in a spiral form.
"This ability can communicate and understand the language of every being, like Titans. You are most likely a candidate because this magic is now permanent."
The brunette's eyes widened, excitement rang through her senses.
"Well, I don't mean to be rude here," the King of the Monsters spoke, "Also, Celestia - and I meant 'Celeste' whom the girl called you - is she your friend?"
"Yes," the Asian girl lent Maddie a banana leaf filled with fruit and a cooked fish, "She is the daughter of Mark Russell, who is now the current Director of Monarch after Dr. Serizawa's sacrifice. And her name is Madison."
"Madison," Mothra mouthed, a simple yet pretty name for a brunette girl. "It seems I finally got acquainted with you years ago after I hatched out."
"Y-Yeah," she blushed, "You were docile after Mom calmed you down with the ORCA."
"What's an ORCA?" The King asked.
"It's a device that can create Titan frequencies combined with bioacoustics to be used whether a Titan should be pacified or awakened. That year 2019 went into chaos when Ghidorah used his Alpha Call after Godzilla was struck down by an Oxygen Destroyer," Celestia explains, shaking her head in disdain, "Unbelievable, yet truly the weakness, isn't it?"
"Humans should learn their lesson," Godzilla rolled his eyes, "So, I guess it's pleasant to meet you here, young Madison."
"As always, Godzilla." She smiled, then turned back to Celestia. "Where's Tasha?"
"She's outside our dome territory, luckily, our spaceship is parked just near the border," the Asian girl told her.
The King of the Monsters decided to change the topic. "Celestia, mind if I ask you…?"
"Hm?"
"You're kind of reminding me of Mothra's daughter and mine."
Madison stopped eating. Wait, does Godzilla mean anything?
Now wait a second.
One, the brunette thought about cross-mating with different species like the two Titans won't happen.
Two, the possibility that Godzilla and Mothra have a child of their own.
And three, why did the King remind her best friend that she resembles their daughter? Was it the moth wings she has now?
Does that mean…
.
.
.
And then it clicked her.
Holy mother of Earth!
Godzilla and Mothra, the King and Queen of the Monsters, have an offspring conceived by themselves?!?!
Maddie stood up, completely baffled by the results.
"Wha-Stop, hold on a minute, I-" She frantically took a few tentative steps back, pointing her fingers at Godzilla, Mothra, and Celestia.
"What you're saying is that..."
"Yes, we have our own child, in the past." Mothra answered.
"Her name was Mothra Astra, we often called her 'Astra' for short," the King added, "She is our only daughter we have left, and a greatest gift and blessing to our hearts."
It took more than a second to register her brain. It is impossible, as what Monarch scientists had said, to mate in different Titan species. Scramble back to some basic scientific studies she had read back in her old days, animals can crossbreed successfully. However, when talking about the symbiotic relationship between Godzilla and Mothra, it all left in wonder and theory.
To Madison, this is far beyond her realizing that they have a child!
The Asian girl spoke, "These wings belong to Mothra Astra, who is also the Princess of the Monsters and supposedly future Queen. But I believe that she is somewhere around undetected. I cannot tell why I have these…" She extended her wings, which glowed softly against the light outside the cave.
"So then, was she alive?"
"She is gone when Ghidorah arrived on our planet, the Devil killed her," Godzilla said, his tone hint with sadness.
"Oh, I'm sorry..."
"Nah, it's alright. Our daughter is now in her peace, she's watching at us above. Until something unusual happens..."
"However, Madison," Mothra said to the human, "My husband heard our daughter's voice playing around the skies. We believed she left an egg, but unfortunately, when we arrived at your human base, we only saw Celestia."
"And that's why we took her away from you and your human allies in hopes of finding answers since she has those wings." Godzilla finished the story.
The brunette glanced back at the King and Queen, then at Celestia. There is a spark of evidence that her best friend might be something quite familiar to the two Titan Rulers. The definition of her hair color and eye color, and even her physical form would be enough to ask questions about her life. Maddie was about to ask something when-
"I think you need a break before you're going to spill millions of questions, am I right?" The Asian girl commented casually, which snapped Maddie out of her thoughts.
"Better be careful, Madison," Godzilla reminded her, "She likes to read people's minds and would probably dig up to interrogate them a few seconds later."
"Sometimes, Godzilla," Celestia commented.
Maddie blinked. She is confused as to why the King warned her about her best friend.
The four of them left out of the cave, and Madison knew that it was around 8 or 9 AM, specifically after the exhaustion and double the shock she had mustered yesterday.
"Right then, the Monarch Organization won't come here unless I commanded them to do so," Celestia spoke, "All because I used my magic to protect us from intruders; the fact that some of your surveillance cameras lasted only a few minutes when you spied us doing business here."
The brunette smiled sheepishly. "Dad's been worried too much after he found out that I'm gone and I'm here for you."
Madison could not deny her imagination about Mark going insane after he saw his daughter staying beside the King and Queen of the Monsters and her winged human best friend. Hilarious or not, it's both for her. Best that Ilene Chen would comfort him.
"You know what, Madison?" The King spoke, "I once met your Dad from your base before I went to the south to stop the False King; and also after I reinvigorated with the nuclear bomb given by my old friend. Saying, he seems in doubt about why they need me. Piss his ass off about blaming me for killing your deceased brother. No offense, however, Celestia understands how much your Dad loves you after the incident. I'm not a psychic, but my wife's strong bond may seem to recognize your past as such. Just like what we did for our child…"
And then it clicked. Despite Mark's overprotectiveness for her, Maddie hadn't been able to spend time with him during his long work hours as a current Director of Monarch, but never knew how much he loves her back since they are the only Russells left after losing Andrew and even Emma. Her Dad sometimes chats with her via video calls. True, she is stubborn and down to her exclusive beliefs of a Titan…
Suddenly, a thought clicked in her mind.
She needed to switch subjects.
"I forgot to mention you, Celestia. Rodan is heading to your country, the Philippines."
Now Godzilla decided to intervene. That stupid bird brain should've taught him another painful lesson.
"And what in the world is he doing there? Causing trouble again?"
"Erm…no." The brunette answered, feeling her body tense by the King's harsh word, "My Dad says he's heading to Mt. Apo, and he seems 'calling' on something."
"Calling?" Mothra asked.
"Yeah. Celeste, do you remember our talk a few days ago about an Osprey? You know, a new Titan stationed near the volcano and has not yet been identified as to what kind of Titan it is?"
"Yes, why's that?" Celestia seems puzzled by Rodan's 'visit' on Mt. Apo.
"I heard Ilene talking about some kind of possibility that Rodan isn't the last of his kind."
"Okay, first of all," Godzilla cuts off, "Rodan's family and his remaining species died from the swarm of Megaguirus' armies. My father once told me how Rodan survived the attacks and is exacting revenge on them. I've been scouring the entire world on my mantle as the King of the Monsters. Not one of Rodan's kind has been found except for him."
"His only hopes is to start a new life and renounced his alliance with us again after Ghidorah," the Queen commented. "He won't stop himself believing that there are others like him."
"Right, but…there's a new discovery of a Titan, from the island of Indonesia."
Mothra tensed, for she already knew what was going to happen out there.
"What happened?" The Queen asked, and Godzilla could already feel the fear and tension about what happened in the past.
"When my Dad and the Monarch followed your tracks, there was a sudden earthquake from the jungles of Indonesia. He sent a few teams and scientists to study; a huge sinkhole emerged. I thought it was one of the portals connected to Hollow Earth and-"
"Madison…" Mothra called her, her wings shook in almost a grief-stricken pain.
"My Queen, deep breaths." Her husband told her, soothing the back of her wings with his hand, already concerned about the sudden realization of pain.
Mothra followed her husband's instructions, taking deep breaths a few more times. Every time she did that, her wings glowed from faint cyan to reddish color as if synchronizing her emotions. She bent down to see the Asian girl make an eye contact from hers, and then to Godzilla.
"Mothra, are you okay?" She asked.
"I...I'm alright, Celestia..." The Divine Moth replied.
"Something's bothering her..." Godzilla muttered, "Please don't you ever think about him."
Celestia noticed why Mothra reacted strangely after Maddie mentioned the island of Indonesia. A recently discovered Titan, who would've thought there was something wrong with the Queen? Granted, she had the magic and power to foresee a person's past and future. She had to try to look into the Queen's past. However, she needed to see if she could find something about the King's past as well.
Inhaling herself one more time, Celestia closed her eyes. And as she opened, a pair of white sclera were replaced by her blue ones. Two light blue strings emerged from each of her hands. Her tattoos shone like those strings of bioluminiscent jellyfish, even her moth wings did a little magic. The strings gently caressed Mothra's limbs and Godzilla's scaly hand.
And just as she does that, her head jerked up, allowing her to see each one of their pasts.
~*~
In her translucent form, Celestia found herself in the middle of a forest, already guessing this was from the territory of the Yunnan Forest, where the Temple of Moth is far away.
"If Mom was here, she would have been happy to see you married by your new mate."
"Oh, shut up, brother."
Two voices were heard from the other side of the forest as Celestia followed the source. Arriving on a huge riverbank, she spotted two giant moths: one was Mothra, and the other one was different from her.
The giant moth is larger than her. It has a charcoal black color all over its body, two large scorpion-like limbs and sharp legs, an armored carapace with some slightly black fur sprouting behind, a pair of black wings as dark as a night with yellow and red patterns reminiscent of a thunder with a blood red eye pattern each of it, and has a yellow crown-like horns plastered on its terrifying face while in the top of its forehead is larger and longer and has blood red eyes.
By the definition of its looks, the black moth is calm yet holds a sincere smile to Mothra, even if the latter is terrifying enough to scare humans away.
Celestia keeps listening to their conversation.
"Mothra, sister, are you sure you are ready this?" The black moth said.
"I am positively sure, Battra," Mothra reassured him. "Godzilla was my one and only true love ever since we bonded together, our vows are sealed no matter what we are facing in our lives."
And the Asian girl instantly recognized this moth from her past dreams.
Battra.
She never knew that this is Mothra's twin brother. How is this possible?
"All I ever want for you sister, is the promise I vowed for you to protect," Battra reprimands, "Surely you agree with me and now, you've grown too soft for your mate. I don't want to lose you just like our Mother left us behind and-"
"Battra," his twin sister cuts him, "Please listen to me. I won't die even if I left an egg for my rebirth. It is my duty and responsibility to defend our world and sacrifice, as time comes to an end. I am your sister, and you are my brother. We shared the same role for the sake of the planet we now protect. I see your heart lies within it. Godzilla swore to me to be cherished and loved."
Battra looked into his twin sister's blue insectoid eyes. There are no lies, but a truth she reassured him.
The black moth vowed to protect her after they both hatched out from their eggs since they never knew their mother. At least Battra wanted to see her. Mothra was very attached to her twin brother, going anywhere they can and always sticking together like two peas in a pod. Growing up in an environment full of life and adapting to what common bond they are linked for, the two were worshipped by the ancient people as protectors of the planet Earth. Battra also found some tribes from the far southern regions of Asia, to which he settled in peacefully since his twin sister already had her tribe from where they were born. That is when Mothra discovered her symbiotic bond with Godzilla, whom she refers to as her "King". Battra disagreed at first, but reluctantly gave his offer to ensure his sister wouldn't harm anything or face consequences due to his maturity and 'side effects' about vowing to protect Mother Nature.
"So, when's the ceremony?" He asked.
"Tomorrow, when the Sun was about to set." She replied, and sighed dreamily, "I can't believe I am going to be the Queen of the Monsters."
"Luck came and found you, you're a lucky sister who found her soulmate, aren't you?" Battra smiled.
"Hahaha, real funny, brother," Mothra playfully rolled her eyes. "I was never meant to be a Queen, until Godzilla came to me. And I bet you are gonna fly away and disappear into a puddle of your tears after we're married."
"Hey, hey! I'm not a crybaby, you are!"
"Yeah, you are~"
"STOP IT!"
Celestia watches afar as the two playfully tease and bicker like children. Twins always do that, not that the human girl minds. Why on Earth would Mothra, or Godzilla, never mention Battra before? What just really happened about him?
As if on cue, everything around her swirled into a jumbling mess before she finds herself on a huge temple, big enough to fit a Titan, much like a grand entrance for the gods. Still in her translucent state, she heard a fit of giggling inside. When she walked through the pillars, she saw Mothra Astra, in her larval stage, playing and tugging on Battra's hard carapace and even his crown-like horns. The black moth didn't seem to mind her playfulness as he was busy weaving a long bundle of yellow silk. The two were in the middle of a large garden, much like a paradise.
"When are they going to come back, Uncle Battra?" she asked.
Battra answers, "I'm not sure when, Lil'Star. I'm assuring you, they'll be fine. Your parents are too busy to check other Titans."
Astra looked at him with a pout on her face. "Awww, why can't I come with them?"
"Because you are too young to go," he replied to her, "Your Dad feared something might happen to you when you go with them. It's some sort of business and not suitable for your age; you'll understand one day as a future Queen of the Monsters."
"So, I can go and fly freely and do whatever I want, even if I was meant to be the Protector and future Queen?" she guessed.
Battra chuckled. "Yes, you can." And then he shifted his tone into a serious one. "However, there are consequences and responsibilities when it comes to your status. Let alone challenging that enemy to be forced to submit and keeping the Titans in check, the Balance must be in its state of what it is to be strived for. Do not let yourself fall into the wrong hands. You have to discover your true path and balance your roles. I am lucky to let you remember all of these because one day, you will do whatever it takes for your heart to stay in the right path you have chosen."
Despite his words are more mature, the young larva seemingly understands her Uncle's lecture despite she is very young. She is surprisingly fast and has sharp senses when listening to her little family's advice and lectures. Godzilla would keep an eye out for his Princess after knowing she is a stalker to them; the only way to avoid it is for Battra to babysit her every day or Mothra's Shobijin while they were away for some 'business'. Good thing she obeyed as what they said for her.
"Uncle, how's Auntie Zhan doing?" Astra asked.
"Oh, she's doing fine even if I am here watching for you," he answered.
"I kinda missed her…" she said.
"Me too, Lil'Star. Although she seems busy for her duties as a priestess of mine."
The young larva crawls down on her uncle's wings, slowly making her way to the bunch of colorful flowers, which she watched as butterflies flittered around through the petals.
"I hope I have a priestess like you and my Mom." She glanced back to Battra.
"You will," Battra smiled.
Just then, they heard a distant roar, indicating the King and Queen have arrived for their precious Little Princess.
"Well, that's our cue," he commented. "You can go ahead, I'll follow you."
The face of a young Princess beamed joyfully, so much that she hurriedly crawled towards the temple's exit. Meanwhile, Celestia - in her translucent form - stepped back for Astra's quick steps outside. Battra made his way to the exit; behind him Celestia stepped out of the temple and saw a heartwarming sight.
The humans stopped their daily routines when they saw the young larva crawling fast towards the lushful forest and into the open sea, where she was greeted by an open arm of her Dad and a warm smile from her Mom. Most humans would stare and be awed by the Titan Rulers' child running through her parents, some bowed before them to show their respect.
"Mommy! Daddy!" She shouted happily.
Unable to hold back his daughter's voice calling for him, Godzilla scooped up the Princess with his arms and gave a nuzzle on her head, which she happily squealed in delight. Below him, Mothra flaps her wings and gently perched on her husband's shoulder, carefully not to fall off the ground. Astra glances back to her mother, her small arms wide open for the Queen to hug her daughter back, and even nuzzling back on the young larva's mandibles.
"You come back!" she says. "I thought you and Daddy weren't going to come back."
"Oh, Lil'Starlight, of course we're not!" Godzilla reminded her, "We know you missed us, but here we are. I hope you're doing fine with your uncle…"
"My niece's very impressive and won't stop asking questions about anything, Godzilla," Battra spoke, landing gracefully on the sand. "I'm glad you are both safe from your long journey, sister."
"I am perfectly fine with Goji, brother." Mothra replied back with a smile.
"At least I am getting cranky by my hour long debate over Rodan and Angurius, and even Tiamat as well…" The King muttered.
"So, that slippery dragon won't stop herself from going on another rant about your 'business' with my sister in tow?" The black moth smirked.
"SHUT UP, BATTRA/BROTHER!!!" Godzilla and Mothra shouted, a deep blush as red as roses crept onto their faces, while Mothra Astra was confused by their 'business'.
"Relax, I'm just joking." Battra laughed.
Celestia watches afar from their conversation. She could sense that his aura was good despite his seriousness. Battra's humor could potentially teased his twin sister and brother-in-law so much. Understanding what the black moth felt for the good of his twin sister and his niece.
Then everything around her faded into darkness.
A cold and desolate darkness enveloped the void, she felt a strong presence in the dark, violent winds and thunder echoed across the void. She heard a maniacal laughter, followed by a battle cry, and a roar.
She covered her ears when she heard an ear-piercing noise, trembling from numerous voices that played in the darkness. What's left from the void were faint images of the past events. She saw it, from her consciousness.
A Devil Fallen from the Stars.
They have come to terraformed the planet.
A monster that is not part of the Natural Order.
They destroyed the humans and the civilization.
And then there's Mothra Astra fighting against the Devil.
"YOU ARE A MONSTER!"
"YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!"
"DIE DEVIL!"
"WHAT'RE YOU GONNA DO WITH US? SPRINKLED BY YOUR USELESS DUST?"
"GAIA HERE IS NOT WELCOMED BY YOUR UNPURIFIED SOUL!"
"AN HEIR LIKE YOU IS NOT FIT FOR ROYALTY!"
"BOW BEFORE US!"
"MY DECISION HERE IS FINAL!"
"GET AWAY FROM OUR DAUGHTER!"
"MOM! DAD! WATCH OUT!"
"YOU. WILL. PAY FOR THIS!!!"
As soon as the voices fade away, she opened her eyes and found herself in a desolated uncharted island. The storm dissipates, but the smell of burning embers and dying life is enough for her to foresee the events.
She heard a painful breath, and when she turned around, the Asian girl gasped in horror.
Mothra Astra was there, her body, brutally beaten lying against the earth with a pool of dark green blood, her magnificent wings torn with holes from the burning fire, one of her antennae was gone, even her left limb. Her fur covered in scratches and blood. The Princess's breathing was shallow as she appeared to be dying from the Devil's fatal blow against her.
"...A-Astra?"
Celestia turned around, seeing Godzilla had breached ashore alongside Mothra when he saw their child beaten and hurt.
"N-No...No, no, no, no!!!"
The King rushed to his daughter, no doubt that his heart was going to break into pieces. The Divine Moth sobbed uncontrollably, the comfort from her husband was not enough.
"Don't die, my Starlight," he gritted his teeth, trying not to cry despite the pain he felt inside of his precious daughter.
"Astra, we-we're here!" Mothra tried to comfort her. "Daddy and Mommy are here for you..."
They didn't know that Battra had arrived just in time, but was in midflight after he saw his niece dying.
Celestia didn't hear the words exchanged between Astra and her parents. And before they knew it, she was GONE. Her body went limp, and dissipated into dust, ascending into the heavens from the star. Mothra wailed painfully, and Godzilla followed after her, he roared from the sky, a painful and mournful roar, signifying the heir to the throne and the future Queen of the Monsters is DEAD.
She looked back at Battra, his emotions filled with guilt, sadness, and pain. But then…there was a word that unintentionally changed him from the aftermath of the Devil's arrival and the imprisonment.
VENGEANCE.
HATRED.
VIOLENCE.
Celestia felt it. The aura of the black moth engulfed in darkness. Evil plunged from his heart, hearing his whispers afar.
I COULDN'T SAVE AND PROTECT HER.
I NEED TO CLEANSE THIS.
CLEANSE THE MOTHER EARTH.
CLEANSE IT FROM MY OWN WILL.
THEY WILL PAY.
THEY WILL PAY FOR EVERYTHING THEY'VE DONE!!!
DIE YOU MISERABLE PESTS!!!
I WON'T STOP UNTIL MY ORDERS FROM THE EARTH ARE DONE!!!
Suddenly, Celestia falls down from the deep void, the winds howling in her ears as she heard the voices of Godilla, Mothra, and Battra.
"STOP IT, BATTRA! BROTHER, THIS ISN'T YOU!"
"THIS. IS. ME NOW!!! DIE SISTER!!!"
"HOW COULD YOU?!"
"THE EARTH IS NO LONGER PURIFIED! THEY WILL ALL SUFFER!"
"CURSE YOU, YOU FILTHY INCANDESCENT FATASS!"
"THIS ISN'T OVER! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"
"EVEN IF I'M GONE, THE EARTH'S WILL SHALL RESSURECTED ME SOONER!"
And everything around her became black.
~*~
"...lestia…"
"Cel…tia…"
"Celestia…"
"Celestia!"
"Celestia, wake up!"
The Asian girl groaned, slowly opened her eyes, and saw Madison, alongside Godzilla, Mothra, and even Tasha, all looking at her in worry. She found herself in one of Godzilla's hands, used as one of her comforter.
"Oh, thank goodness, you're okay!" Maddie says, glad that her best friend is in good condition.
"You passed out from your power," Godzilla told her, "It's been 5 hours and we thought you were in coma."
"Celestia, child, what happened?" Mothra asked in concern.
She falls silent. So many questions filled her head. From the happiness and tragic ending between Mothra Astra and Battra's vengeance.
"I…saw him."
.
.
.
"What?"
"Your pasts. All from your memories. Astra. You and Godzilla. And the people who worshipped you both. And then, Ghidorah…he killed Astra, left dying…and then next is…Battra…"
The King and Queen looked at each other, feeling that the winged human girl want more answers. And she mentioned Battra. For thousands of years they won't forget the fact that the black moth revolted himself to 'purified' the Earth as means of wiping out the humanity, enough that Battra injured his wife and he himself got incinerated by the King's atomic breath. On a contrary, the Titan Rulers keep their senses high since Battra will one day be ressurected as exacting his vengeance, which never happens. But for now, this is getting out of hand.
"This may be forever if we tell you, Celestia," Godzilla said to her. "Battra is my wife's twin brother and my brother-in-law. He's a Defender to the Mother Earth, as contrasts to our title as Protectors of the Earth's Natural Balance. After our daughter's death, he changed, blaming the humans for not protecting our child, and he went berserk. Battra's pride and rage blinded by his ambitious and will. We managed to finished him off, but at the cost of my Mosura. Battra almost killed her if it wasn't for me."
The King of the Monsters recalled the day when he tried to communicate him, instead, Battra attacked him remorsefully. Upon seeing that the black moth had truly become an enemy, he vowed to protect his Queen.
And then here comes the intervention.
Battra almost killed his twin sister despite her pleas until Godzilla once again defeated him to death, but before he died, Battra vowed them that he will one day rose up from the surface and the humanity will soon plunged into their fates due to their carelessness of abusing the Mother Nature. Mothra, with her last remaining strength, requested her husband to let her return back to the Temple of Moth, where she will sleep peacefully in her dying state, but reassured him that she will find him because she left an egg of hers that she will one day reborn back from her rebirth cycle. With Mothra's request successfully done, Godzilla continued to rule the planet along his own...until then, the rest is history.
"With Battra gone, the humans of his tribe separate each other and never return." Godzilla told them.
"Should my brother ressurected in this world sooner, he'll never stop wiping the humanity," Mothra added, a dread of worry spread her face.
"Yes, Madison."
"That's what we're preparing for," Godzilla hoped. "Even if his ambitious tainted by the memory of our child's death."
"It seems we are too late now."
All eyes landed on Celestia, her head hung down as if she is threatened to deciminate the subject.
"What do you mean 'too late', Princess?" Tasha asked.
The Asian girl slowly looked at them, her expression clearly anonymous and is about to reveal the intentions behind.
"Battra, is ressurected. And he's now attacking the humans from Indonesia."
From the deep jungles of Indonesia
Returning back from the underground temple unearthed after the earthquake, the egg is now under the watchful eyes of the Monarch, now monitoring its heartbeat and contents. They have frequently discovered that this is similar to Mothra's, but is way more different. They theorized if there are yet several superspecies should be connected to the Queen of the Monsters.
The egg suddenly pulsating faster, alarming the entire personnels as they all flashing their lights across the source. A few encircling the mound all weapons pointing at the egg. The remaining scientists all shared exchanged words and worries, but beyond excitement of the discovery, they backed away when they heard a low growl, the egg suddenly moved. A yellow horn pierced the egg's soft surface as viscous liquid dripped down from the black-like veins that held the egg's surface. Tearing the softer layers open, a black larva emerged from its long sleep.
The larva was way taller than the Mothra larva. However, its body was painted black with yellow and red spikes in its back, possessing a terrifying appearance. As the larva glanced back, its face was black with yellow-like outlines each of its sides, black mandibles with small tusks that are sharper and deadlier, malevolent blood red eyes glowed like a predator, and a long yellow horn protuding on its forehead with a small pair of crown-like horns. At the end of its tip was a pair of long tusks much likely resembles the earwig's tip of a tail.
"This is it?" A male scientist breathed.
"Incredible…" One of the squadron said in awe.
The female scientist answered. "Meet Titanus Batora, from the old murals, they called it…"
"Battra."
However, they will soon regret the discovery.
Battra, now fully emerged from his long slumber and ressurection, eyed the humans below. He could tell they are different because of their clothes and now wielding a newly advanced weapons, they are all pointing at him.
Suddenly, he found himself surrounded by some kind of a shield, activated by the humans.
They are now turning against him.
"Foolish pests…" he hissed at them, his carapace began to glow menacingly red.
The scientists realized too late as the larva gave a loud, ear-piercing roar, this one was deeper yet it can bleed their ears open. Every maintenance and alike blared loudly, as the squadrons prepared to fight against the larva. Battra emitted an EMP from his horns before blasting them entirely as every electrical equipment shut down. The shield that caged him temporarily is gone, and the larva now free from the prison.
The cavern began to shake as they all ran in fear, with some attempting to contact the Monarch, but to no avail, seeing Battra shut their electricity down.
And all Hell broke lose.
"Retreat everybody!"
The remaining scientists ran from the exit as the squadrons began firing at Battra. The bullets grazed his softer flesh, trying to protect himself from incoming shots with his carapace, and he growled.
They are going to kill him!
"Take this!"
He fired sticky yellow-like silk at them as the soldiers yelled in agony, feeling the immense burning coming from the silk. More squadrons appeared, and the larva broke the platform, continuously slamming and squashing several soldiers to death, leaving more bloodshed.
"DIE YOU HUMANS! DIE!!!" He laughed maniacally.
One soldier bravely tossed a grenade to the larva's eyes as it blasted, earning a shriek of pain from the larva. Fixing his vision, Battra glowered at the human, to whom he stood, equally terrified. And then he lunged down at the human and snapped his mandibles on the human's flesh, giving it a very painful squeeze and an agonizing pain from the human, seemingly cutting his life as the human's lower body was sliced in half. The larva paid no mind to the taste of the human's flesh and warm blood as he tossed the bloody carcass away, seemingly enjoying the bloodlust and fear.
Battra could hear the remaining humans retreating back outside the cavern. He laughed sinisterly as he made his way towards them.
"After thousands of years waiting for my time to surface in this unholy world, you little pests shall die before me!"
Outside of the sinkhole, everybody went into a flurry of panic and fear. Since Battra can produce an EMP like the male MUTO, they are now desperate to flee from this place, and are unable to contact the Monarch. From the sinkhole, several gunshots and yells could be heard, and then silence.
All of a sudden, Battra finally emerged from the sinkhole.
"OPEN FIRE! OPEN FIRE!"
Bullets and small missiles all soared through the larva, but they're proving useless as Battra incinerates several Monarch squadrons with his thunder-like lightning and silk attack.
"Idiots!" he shouted, swinging his horn down from the humans and their weapons. "Suffer before me! For I am the Prince of Darkness and the Terror of Humanity, fear before me! Fear before Battra!"
Many of these tiny little pests won't stop raining down missiles and bullets, he hissed in displeasure. He needed to get off from this 'unholy land', he had to heal his armored carapace since his first hatch in this world, knowing that would be futile for him. He needed to metamorphose faster.
And then he remembered a few radiation sources somewhere, the time when he and his twin sister flew miles away to visit the mainland. He now knew where to find, but first, he will enjoy this torment.
Battra slammed his horn into the ground, burrowing himself away from the human pests, narrowing incoming missiles as he proceeded to dig deeper.
The squadrons ran to the great gaping hole left. In that case, one pointing from the west, already seeing several birds fleeing from the huge mound movements, indicating that Battra is heading towards the west. Many were killed or injured, at least they thanked God that they were alive despite several injuries.
"Where is it heading for?" The male scientist asked.
"We cannot pinpoint the exact location. Battra's EMP shut down our signals," one of the surviving squadron replied.
"We need to fix the generator as soon as possible. Then we'll inform the Monarch of Titanus Batora's track, and evacuate many people. Move your asses now!"
With the remaining survivors of the Monarch began to work, unknown to them, two cloaked figures were seen hiding far away from the damaged zone. The taller one pulled out a deviced with a white crystal attached to its right corner, then activating its GPS. In it, from a hidden surveillance drone, they tracked Battra heading towards Bandung City.
"Is this where he is heading for?" The shorter figure, in a feminine voice, spoke to the former.
"Yet," the male voice told her.
"What?"
Then he showed the holographic screen, zooming wider and wider, until it was now a full view of the Indonesian island. The female person gasped. The red lines were Battra's track. First is Bandung City, then straight to the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. What's more is that he is heading towards the Philippines, to the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant!
For Christ's sake, the people will be in catastrophic danger!
"We need to move our plan! We cannot lose our beloved archipelago!" He ordered.
"On it! We need to contact Mom and send more rescuers!" She answered, as the two immediately ran to their spaceship that is camouflage in the jungles.
They have a mission to do.
After this, they will find the Codename C.
At the eastern island far from the Philippines
There's not enough time to seal this place. The lone island is now filled with thousands of green and orange specks, circling from the gaping hole where the egg was.
It feels the incoming threat, a familiar foe to its Bearer.
A foe that could 'cleanse' the world as vowed to Mother Nature.
A sick and twisted sin, contrasting the Yin and Yang sequence.
Right now, it needed to wake from this eternal slumber.
The egg pulsates from the music's rhythm. Long ancient voices play around the island. Green and orange specks synchronize the song as it forms around a Mothra symbol from the glaring sun.
Then a loud tear, followed by a shrill cry. The vines that held the open platform broke down, and there emerged a grayish brown larva.
The larva was relatively the size of Mothra larva, but with longer tusks and a slight patch of white fur emerging behind its carapace. There is also a glowing green circle above its forehead, albeit arranged in a triangular shape. Its vibrant green eyes scanned for the first time, seeing the colorful shades of healthy greenery.
"Whe-Where am I?" He asked himself, completely awed by this world.
He crawls himself up before spotting a mural with a symbol of Mothra, and after understanding the language left from the ancient humans, he knew his name.
"Leo," he spoke, "So that's my name. I am Mothra Leo."
Then Leo remembered something.
His Mother.
She is the one who bore him out of love. It is already a thousand years of waiting.
Did she just left him?
Where was she?
"Protect…"
Leo heard faint whispers.
"Child of the Sun, you will one day regain your inner strength."
"I love you, more than anything…"
"Child of the Sun, remember me. Remember my voice."
His Mother.
Mothra.
Leo needed her.
To protect, and fight.
And the Child of the Sun, the Prince of the Monsters, Mothra Leo, will begin his life long journey, to find his Mother.
His prescence may soon be blessed…
Leo did not notice a spectral figure hiding in the trees. The being smiled, before transforming into a white star, and flew towards the skies.
The fates between Battra, Mothra Leo, and Ma. Celestina, will soon be put to the test.
Or would they?
AN: Aaaaaaaannnnnnnnddddd here comes my evil edgelord: Battra! And don't forget Leo is hatched out! Now both will go under metamorphosis. However, things went down if not for a certain King of the Monsters shall face off against the Prince of Darkness!
