Back in the other realm. The Queen of blood and the water dragon.

The first of the twin suns flipped over the horizon. Illuminating the changing skies in glorious pinks, Reds, Blues, and fading of its blacks. The time of the stars disappeared as the rays spread across the ground. In its reveal, an unnatural bank of morning fog. within its swirling mist, the damaged terrain emerged like the teeth of a massive beast.

The Queen of Blood was standing in what could only be called the blast zone. It was the melted pathway of the rail gun. The new road that would lead Mikoto Misaka to her destination. But the Queen of Blood was looking off in the other direction. The rising fog may have hindered her view, but she still waited, eyes focused as the mist swirled. She listened to the thrumming of the multiple heartbeats of the little ones standing on the banks of what would become a newborn river.

She held a small smirk, seeing the small streams of water coming out of the mist. She took a breath, knowing all of it. And then she spoke. "Sister..." She called out, "Do not play with me."

Silence was her answer. The impenetrable mist was unmoving, except for the small ribbons of water seeping along. It moved towards her in a form of greeting, encircling her feet and passing by, rejoined, and continued on. The Queen of Blood gazed stoically before she rolled her eyes. A small smile played on the corner of her mouth. "You always were a little dramatic."

In less than a breath, a wall of water rolled out of the fog, three, maybe four feet in height or depth, like a titan awakened from the depths of the ocean. Sheer mass threatening, steam, and mist rising in the assault, swirling and coiling of an ancient sea beast.

The queen of blood, eyes locked with the approaching wave, in it, she sees murky flashes of eyes, teeth, and tendrils. The trailing mist swallowed the land and the little ones as it approached. It slowed, for just a moment, to encircle the daughter of the Queen of Blood and seemed to hold her in a motherly embrace. The daughter's ears drooped, and her tail sagged as she quickly covered her face and cried.

She didn't, wouldn't move, and remained in its path. Coming knee high until it stopped. The queen of blood looked down at her reflection, and it looked back at her and grinned, bringing her hand down, breaking the water's surface, and pulling her sister from beneath the water.

She rose from the water in shimmering colors as the morning light of the first sun hit the watery surface, light refractions becoming solid. Outline of scales. Gain form with a wisp of water spreading and flowing into strands of sea-foamed colored hair. Finally, her face became alive with eyes as dark as the deepest ocean.

"It has been too long, sister," said Mizuchi. Embracing the Queen of Blood, pearls begin to appear and dangle in her hair. "Yes, far too long," The Queen of Blood replied, pulling her sister tighter. Wishing the moment would remain.

"Let me be selfish, sister," she said, turning, taking her webbed hand in hers. Leading her to the bank of the new river. "of course." a pink blush colored Mizuchi's cheek.

On the riverbank, Ana, the shewolf daughter of the Queen of Blood, hugged Mizuchi tightly, tears rolling down her face. "Such a baby, Ana," Mizuki said gently as Ana cried on her shoulder. Mizuki smiled, letting Ana release her emotions, understanding the pain she had endured from the wars. Mizuchi, the great water dragon, who controlled all waters, softly stroked her dark hair. "I'm here now, little one," she reassured.

Ana wiped her tears and nose, looking at Mizuchi with red eyes. "I'm not a baby," she whimpered.
