Snakebit

After losing the monastery, the ninjas moved into an old pirate ship called the Destiny's Bounty and were sleeping peacefully in their rooms, the boys on bunk beds while Nya was sleeping in her own since the rooms needed some cleaning and fixing, and they were all sound asleep until they were greeted by the sound of Wu banging on a gong.

"Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you!" Wu shouted as the four teenagers woke up while trying to drown out the sound of the gong. "In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." He said as he kept knocking it.

"OK, OK, we're up." Kai groaned as he leaped down from his bunk and walked over to the window, "But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" He asked with a yawn as he opened the blinders, but they fell on the floor as Kai tugged the line.

The others got up as Cole sat up and cracked his back, "You call that rest?" He asked tiredly. "I think my back has more lumps than the mattress."

"At least you weren't inhaling dust all night long," Nya told him as she let out a small cough. "Remind me again why we didn't clean the place yesterday?"

Jay walked towards the sink with a toothbrush. "We were up so late talking about how cool it was to have a new headquarters, I guess we lost track of time," Jay answered as he turned on the sink, but instead of water, sand came out and went on his toothbrush. "Since The Hypnobrai burned down the monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our..." he was cut off when he brushed his teeth and started coughing, spitting out the sand.

"Jay, the water main isn't operational yet." Nya pointed out tiredly, "Which sucks because I really need a shower."

Zane however felt rested as he did a couple of stretches. "What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the strike of the scorpion?" Zane asked energetically, "Or perhaps the grace of the..."

Zane was interrupted when he did a step, and the floor broke below him as he gave a yelp, and coughed as the dust appeared as the others huddled up to him.

"I think today's lesson will be chores," Wu said, noticing that the Bounty needed some freshening up before they could do anything else.

"Chores?" They all exclaimed in shock.

"Ninjas fight, Sensei, they do not clean." Cole pointed out.

"Not to mention I don't train with them often," Nya added.

"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home, and where we are from," Wu told them as they all gave a thought, "And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters, and Nya, we are all family, so we must play our part to help one another."

"Yes, Sensei," all five said bored as Wu started to walk out of the room.

"Now, I expect things to be spotless when I return." Wu said before turning to them, "And put your backs into it." He added and gave one last bang to his gong again before walking away.

Cole helped Zane out of the hole as they all looked around the room.

"Ugh, this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up," Kai complained since the Bounty was big.

Jay then got an idea and walked towards Kai. "Unless we put more than our backs into it, and Sensei did say we should greet every day as an opportunity to reach our full potential." He said with a grin as the others smiled too, knowing what he meant.

"Alright, team, time for some Ninja Style spring cleaning!" Cole declared.

"Well, since I don't know Spinjitzu or have any elemental powers, I'm gonna get some groceries, supplies, and other things we need." Nya said as she turned to leave, "And while the rest of you clean, please try and make the other rooms more livable for me so I can have my privacy."

"You got it, sis." Kai said with a thumbs up as Nya made her way out, "Alright, team, let's get to work."

A little bit later, the ninjas got into their Ninja Gi's as Cole entered a room full of dust, and he did Spinjitzu. As he got all the junk into his tornado, he spun outside, and placed a sign that said 'Garage Sale'.

And then, back in the room again, Kai and Zane saw more dust and leftover cobwebs. Zane threw his shurikens to the walls, which caused the entire room to be frozen in ice as Kai used his sword to melt the ice.

Then, they used their Spinjitzu as they moved to the other side as the ice melted to show the room was completely spotless and clean since the ice froze up the cobwebs and dust as they were melted away by the fire, making the room clean.

And then, a little bit later, Kai, Cole, and Jay were in the junction room to try and see if they could get the power going. Kai and Cole checked on one of the junction boxes as Cole started hammering it, Jay caught something covered in a white tarp.

Jay removed the tarp and saw an even bigger junction box, seeing that it had no power. Jay swung his nunchucks as he hit the box which caused electricity to flow into it as the junction box powered up and lights turned on which made Cole and Kai think they did that as they fistbumped each other.

On the deck of the ship, the ninjas are pulling the rope as they spread the sails which had a ton of dust. Jay stood back as he spun his nunchucks and did Spinjitzu as he blew away the dust off The Bounty making it dust-free.

Later in the afternoon, Wu and Nya entered the ship as they saw the new rec room and ninjas playing video games.

"What took you so long?" Kai asked with a smirk.

"Wow! This place looks amazing." Nya said in awe. "You guys did all of this?"

"We ninja don't just fight, Nya, we clean," Cole said retracting his earlier statement.

"Oh, you four seem to have exceeded my expectations." Wu said with a small smirk, "But can you keep it up?"

Nya then heard honking sounds coming from outside and she looked out the window to see an incoming, homemade vehicle with two passengers in it wearing airplane hats.

"It looks like we're about to have some visitors, and loud ones at that," Nya commented with a small smile after hearing the horn again.

"Oh, no, it's my parents." Jay sighed as he recognized the horn and the car before giving a worried look. "Please, if they start yapping, just don't get them going, OK? They don't know when to quit, and if you start talking, then they'll start talking, and then suddenly half the day is gone so..." he ranted as the others looked at him in slight annoyance.

"We get it, they talk a lot," Kai spoke stopping Jay's rant. "The cherry doesn't fall far from it's blossom."

Jay's parents arrived near The Bounty as the horn kept honking, and they accidentally bumped into the junk Cole set out earlier, and they stopped.

"Oh, heh, take a note, Edna, either better brakes or better bumper." The man said to his wife with a slight chuckle before seeing the junk in front of them, and he took off his hat. "Oh, will you look at all this great stuff? They can't just get rid of it." He said excitedly. "We should've brought the trailer, Edna."

Edna took off her hat as she looked at her husband, "This ain't a flea market, Ed. We're here for Jay."

Ed shook his head as he raised a hand to his ears, "How's that? Did you take the note?"

"I'm writing it down, Ed," Edna said as she took out a notepad and a pencil as she wrote the note down.

The ninjas came out below deck as Jay walked up to his parents.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" He asked not that excited to see them.

"Oh, look, it's my baby boy," Edna said in excitement as she and Ed looked at their son happily. "It's been so long since we've heard from you."

"Ma, I wrote to you two days ago," Jay told them.

"Well, not soon enough, son," Ed said as they stepped out of the vehicle. "When are you coming out to the junkyard? You say you're coming, and then ya don't."

"Wait, Jay grew up in a junkyard?" Cole asked in amusement.

"Dad, do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?" Jay said to his father in embarrassment.

"He hates it when we tell people he was born in a junkyard," Edna told them before she saw Nya. "Oh, and who are you? You are so cute. You're just my son's type."

"Mom!" Jay complained with a blush.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Nya told them. "I'm sure if you want, Jay can give you the tour. He worked very hard on it."

"We'd love a tour!" Both Ed and Edna said in excitement while Jay just gave a sigh.

Throughout the rest of the day, Jay showed his parents around The Bounty 'till he showed them the bridge with a high-tech computer showing the map of Ninjago.

"And, this is the bridge, and this extends into a telescope," Jay said as he pulled the telescope down. "This tells us what's going on in Ninjago and this..." he jumped over to a machine, "If a Serpentine is not giving us the answers we want and we're up late at night..."

"A neuro apparatus to read their minds?" Edna asked excitedly interrupting Jay.

"An audio appliance to make them talk?" Ed asked.

"No, a cappuccino machine," Jay said as he put a cup under the machine and poured coffee in it, "Gotta stay hydrated while working."

"Ha-ha! Amazing, son, we're so proud of you." Ed complimented.

"Why don't you tell them about the button?" Cole asked as he stood next to a big red button.

"Ha-ha! It's not ready yet." Jay told him with a look.

"Oh, what's the button?" Edna asked curiously.

"He's working on a special defense system," Zane answered.

"Something every ninja headquarters needs," Kai added.

"Something to help us avoid getting attacked again," Nya finished.

"Oh, really? What's it do?" Ed asked, "Can I help?"

"No, it's OK. I don't need your help, Dad. Let's just leave it alone." Jay said as he pulled his dad away from the button. "Hey, look at the time, don't you need to get back before it gets dark? I told you there's dangerous Serpentine out there."

"Uh, I suppose we could get back," Ed said with a small sad look.

"Edna, it was a pleasure hearing about Jay's first potty time," Cole said with a grin on his face.

"Oh, if you thought that was good, wait until you hear the story about the time I caught him kissing his pillow," Edna said making Jay blush.

"Ugh! Snakes, Ma, snakes," Jay reminded in embarrassment.

"OK, we're going, we're going." Edna said as she and Ed went outside and headed back to their vehicle, "So you promise to come to the junkyard and visit?"

"Yes, I promise, but only if you leave," Jay told them as they backed up the vehicle. "I don't want you to get hurt... Uh, your headlights are working, right?" The moment he asked, the headlights turned on so bright and nearly blinded them.

"Heh, like them? I used a little extra juice." Ed said as he turned off the lights before they drove off. "Bye, Son, I couldn't be more proud."

"And, bring Nya with you, will you?" Edna asked. "I can see why you like her."

"Mom!" Jay grunted.

"Now, that they have left, perhaps Jay could teach us the art of kissing pillows," Wu said with a chuckle.

Jay groaned loudly before storming off back inside while the others started bursting out into laughter.

"I don't think he's coming, dear," Ed told Edna as they drove back to the junkyard.

"Stop it, Ed! He's coming." Edna said.

"No, he doesn't need us anymore," Ed said. "I just need to remember that, uh, write it down for me would you?"

"Oh, dear," Edna said as she wrote it down, "Lights, dear, it's getting dark."

"Right, heh, thanks, sugarplum," Ed said as he turned on the lights as they continued their drive back home.

As night fell over Ninjago, Lloyd and Melissa followed the map to a creepy cemetery in the middle of a forest. Melissa was not very comfortable being there, and then she jumped when she heard some rocks falling.

"Oh, man, I hate cemeteries." Melissa said in a nervous tone, "Of all the places for a Serpentine Tomb to be, why did it have to be a cemetery?"

Lloyd then gave a sinister smirk as he had an idea of how to mess with Melissa, and then he moved his arms forward and moaned like a zombie.

"Are you getting the willies?" Lloyd said in a spooky tone, "The trembles the shakes the heebie-jeebies?"

"Lloyd, stop that. That's not funny." Melissa said with gritted teeth. "This place is already freaking me out."

"Awe, don't tell me you're afraid of ghosts." Lloyd teased with a chuckle.

"No, I just don't like cemeteries. They give me the creeps." Melissa defended in an annoyed tone, "And what about you? Doesn't this place scare you just a little bit?"

"Pfft! Oh, please, it's not that scary." Lloyd said confidently, but then he saw Melissa giving him a look which made him a little nervous. "Well, maybe just a little, but I like scary. I mean, I'm the son of the Dark Lord, and I love the dark. I even eat this stuff for breakfast."

"Oh, brother," Melissa said rolling her eyes.

Lloyd then turned around and screamed as he saw a two-headed monster, but then he calmed down when he saw that it was just a tree, and he sighed in relief before turning around to see Melissa giving him a smug smile.

"What was that you said about loving the dark and not being scared, son of the Dark Lord?" Melissa teased making Lloyd blush in embarrassment.

"Shut up! We got a Serpentine Tomb to find." Lloyd said in an embarrassed tone before he turned back to the map. "Now, if we're gonna make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying us, we have to find the Fangpyers, right?"

"That's the plan." Melissa confirmed with a nod, "Because if there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake, common knowledge really."

Lloyd then turned his head back to the tree that startled him, and he looked at the map and realized that this was the spot where The Fangpyers were locked.

"Right here, the mutated tree, we found it!" Lloyd exclaimed.

Lloyd and Melissa kneeled down and moved a bit of mist out of the way to see the entrance of the tomb with two snake heads on the front.

"This is it, Melissa," Lloyd told his Best Friend. "Soon, The Serpentine will know who their masters are and it will be us."

"Lloyd Garmadon and Melissa Zhau," Melissa declared, "The future dark rulers of Ninjago."

Just then, a crash of lightning was heard as Lloyd and Melissa screamed in fright and hugged each other, and then they saw how close they were to each other and they instantly broke the hug blushing red, and then Lloyd pushed the button to open the tomb.

The moment it opened, Serpentine with red and white scales leaped out frightening the two kids. Lloyd and Melissa then turned around to come face to face with a large Serpentine with a long tail in place of legs, likely the general, with sharp teeth white eyes, and holding a staff like Skales only with a red jewel, but what made this general even creepier was that he had two heads.

"And who... May I sssay releasssed usss... I General Fangtom and The Fangpyer... From our captivity?" Fangtom asked as his heads took turns speaking.

"Uhh, we did," Lloyd answered nervously as he showed Fangtom the map. "I'm Lloyd Garmadon and this is my friend and second in command Melissa Zhau."

"And, we released you to help us make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying us," Melissa explained hoping it would appease him knowing that this general couldn't be brainwashed like Slithraa.

"The Hypnobrai?" Fangtom asked in anger. "Thossse hypnotizing deceiversss, why aren't I... more sssurprisssed? It'll be... Our pleasssure... To help you both." He said to them with a smirk.

"Oh, good," Lloyd said with a smile, finding this general more agreeable. "Me and Melissa will lead the way."

"Then, after that, there's some ninjas that we need to deal with," Melissa followed.

"Sssoundsss like... You children know... What you want." Fangtom said with a smile, "But the Hypnobrai are ssstrong... And asss you can sssee... We are few in numberssss. We need... Reinforcements." He told the two.

"What do you have in mind?" Lloyd and Melissa asked in unison as Fangtom hissed.

Soon, Ed and Edna pulled up into a junkyard with a sign that said: Ed and Edna's Scrap n Junk.

"Home sweet home," Ed said after parking the vehicle before getting out and grabbing his toolbox, "And back to the grind." He said as he walked to a statue of Jay made out of the junk.

"Oh, sweetie, you've been working on that thing day and night," Edna said as she walked to a trailer.

"Well, you never know when Jay may show up," Ed told Edna.

"Oh, you're right. You never know." Edna said as she entered the trailer.

When Ed reached the statue, he put down his toolbox and took out some tools before he got to work. As he worked on the statue, a shadowy figure ran by and Ed stopped working when he heard the footsteps.

"Uh, Edna, was that you?" Ed asked.

"What? Ed, are you hearing things again?" Edna called out from across the yard.

"Uh, you uh, you turned on the security alarm before you left, didn't you, hun?" Ed asked.

Edna walked out of the trailer and went towards a fusion box, she flipped the switch in it a few times when she opened the box.

"Uh, must be broken," Edna told him before the lights went out.

"Whoever's there, my son knows Spinjitzu." Ed warned whoever turned off the lights.

Just then, he heard hissing and growling and saw a snake shadow go along a wall. Ed quickly ran towards Edna when he heard the hissing.

"What is it? Why are the lights out?" Edna asked.

"Call Jay, hun. Someone's broken in," Ed told her.

"How about we wait until he calls you?" Lloyd told them as he, Melissa, and Fangtom stood on top of the trailer.

"Ed?" Edna asked sounding scared.

"Be strong, Edna," Ed told her. "I won't let them hurt you."

"So, you're the blue ninja's parents, huh?" Melissa said with a mocking tone. "I actually feel sorry for the poor ninja to have grown up in a dump like this."

"Now if we plan... To attack... The Hypnobrai... We'll need to grow... Our army." Fangtom told the two kids.

"And, uhh, how do we do that?" Lloyd asked.

"Remember, Lloyd, The Fangpyer has the ability to turn anything into a Serpent." Melissa reminded, "And I mean anything."

"Your little friend... Issss correct, young Garmadon... We Fangpyerssss bite off more... Then we can chew." Fangtom confirmed with a smirk before waving his arms, "Have at it boyssss."

The Fangpyer came out of the shadows and went over to some of Ed's creations: An unfinished helicopter, an unfinished bike, and an unfinished car before they bit into them. Their venom coursed through them before they transformed into sentient, snake-like vehicles as Ed watched in horror while The Fangpyer turned his inventions into monsters.

"My creations! They're turning them into..." Ed said before Fangtom came up to him and Edna.

"An army... You are correct." Fangtom said with a smirk, "But we can alssso... Turn people too." He added with an evil grin as the other Serpentine surrounded both the frightened Ed and Edna.

The next day, at The Destiny's Bounty, Jay was working on the defense system as Kai and Zane walked passed him carrying junk.

"We sure got a lot of Junk piling up," Kai said loud enough for Jay to hear, "If only there was a place to get rid of it."

"If you don't mind, I'm trying to focus," Jay told them.

"Hi, Mom and Dad, of course, I'd love to visit," Cole said as he was pretending to talk on the phone. "What kind of son would I be if I didn't want to?" He asked before Jay laughed sarcastically.

"I know what you're trying to do," Jay told them. "OK, look guys, I may have promised to visit my parents, but there's a lot of stuff on my plate." Jay then saw Nya and quickly wiped the oil off his face, "Heh-heh, hi, Nya."

"You gonna visit your parents today?" Nya asked.

"Uh, sure am, just getting ready to leave," Jay answered.

"Tell them I said 'Hi'," Nya said before she left, and the others gave Jay a look.

"What, so my plate's not that full," Jay said.

"Then, you better get going, ya simp," Cole said pointing to the door as Jay sighed and walked out the door.

Jay soon went outside to where the dragons were and was trying to get Wisp to get up, but he wasn't moving at all.

"Come on, Wisp, it'll be a quick visit. Just in and out, nothing more," Jay said, but Wisp wasn't moving.

Wu then came from Wisp's stable with a huge thermometer.

"Hmm, just as I suspected," Wu said looking at the thermometer. "The dragons are molting. They're shedding their scales."

"What does that mean?" Jay asked in concern.

"Every dragon goes through a transformation before it becomes an adult," Wu explained. "We must allow the four dragons to migrate east to the Spirit Coves for their transformation."

"Will we see them again?" Jay wondered.

"It is hard to say, but we must allow them to follow their path," Wu said as the others came by after hearing his news.

"Rocky's going east?" Cole asked as the ninjas came up to their respective dragons for one last goodbye. "Say it isn't so, Rocky!"

The dragons nuzzled the ninjas in comfort as they petted them, knowing that they may not see them ever again.

"Well, I guess I gotta go on this long walk all by myself," Jay said as he walked up to Nya and Kai while looking at Nya. "Sure would be nice to have company," he said to Nya who was giving him a smile as she nodded at him.

But then, Kai spoke after hearing him, "Of course, we'll go with you buddy." He said with a smile.

"I could use a break," Cole commented.

"All you had to do was ask," Zane added.

Jay gave a sigh, not wanting them all to come since he was only thinking of bringing Nya, but it was too late for that.

In the skies, Flame, Rocky, Shard, and Wisp followed the sun east towards the Spirit Coves. The ninjas, Wu, and Nya were walking on the ground while Wu was playing the same flute that freed Cole from The Hypnobrai's control, and as they walked, the earth ninja watched as Rocky and the other dragons flew away until they were out of sight.

"Ahh, of all the days to lose our rides," Jay said as they walked.

"That flute, you never told us why it was so special," Zane said as he looked at the flute.

"Long ago, there were many flutes created to combat the powers of The Serpentine and drive them underground." Wu explained to his students, "But over time, Ninjago's forgotten its ancestors' wisdom and now, this is the only one." He said before he continued to play the flute in Jay's face.

"I get the lesson-respect your elders or else suffer the consequences," Jay said as he ignored Wu's flute playing. "Boy, you guys are laying it on thick."

"Perhaps, you are only hearing what you need to hear," Wu told Jay.

Pretty soon, they stopped as they saw Jay's parents' junkyard up ahead.

"Well, we're here. The sign's really obvious, huh, Jay?" Cole joked, but Jay didn't speak as he looked at the junkyard like something was wrong.

"What is it?" Nya asked.

"It's quiet. My parents are never quiet." Jay said suspiciously.

Kai then noticed something. "Uh, Jay, I think your parents had some company last night." He said before picking up a white scale. "Some scaly company," he added with a worried look as Jay gasped in shock.

"The Serpentine! Oh, no, Mom, Dad!" Jay panicked before he and the others flipped on their hoods and rushed inside.

Once inside the junkyard, they heard Ed and Edna's voices coming from an old fridge with a pole keeping it closed. After Jay kicked the pole off, the fridge opened up and he found his parents tied up with tape over their mouths.

"What happened? Who did this to you?" Jay asked as he removed the tape from his mother's mouth, and he could see two snake fangs had grown.

"Oh, sssweetheart, you came," Edna said before Jay pulled the tape off his father's mouth.

"You gotta get out of here!" Ed told him. "You shouldn't have come. It's the sssnakes."

"What happened to your teeth?" Kai asked as he noticed the snake fangs in their mouths.

"And, why do they sound like that?" Cole added.

"This is not the work of The Hypnobrai." Zane pointed out.

"The bite of The Fangpyer," Wu said as he knew what was happening to them as Jay untied his parents. "Once they sink their teeth, their venom can turn anything into a serpent, and it's only a matter of time before the full transformation is complete."

Ed turned around and they saw a bump on the seat of his pants where a tail was growing. Just then, they all heard the Fangpyer's hiss as a wrecking ball pulled in, and the ball itself had a snake face on it as it looked at them.

"Uhh, is that wrecking ball staring at me?" Cole asked as they took defensive positions.

The wrecking ball swung backward before coming towards them, and Jay saw that it was heading towards them, so he rushed over and pushed his parents out of the way, and the others jumped out of the way and the wrecking ball missed them.

"Thankssss, son," Ed told Jay.

"Lloyd," Wu said as he spotted him, Melissa, and Fangtom on top of a junk pile.

"Hello, Uncle," Lloyd said. "Looks like we're not the only family reunion. I'm glad you brought the ninjas. I could use some help taking out the trash." He joked as he gave his sinister chuckle.

"And, even though you're our enemy and all, it's actually nice to meet one of my best friend's family members," Melissa admitted and then she saw Lloyd giving her a questionable look. "What? I was just being honest, and I really wanted to meet your family."

"If we want to turn your parents back, we need the anti-venom from the staff," Nya told Jay as the wrecking ball swung back around.

"Second dose to the dirt!" Cole shouted as they all ducked from the wrecking ball. The Fangpyers were closing in on them once the dust settled.

"Easier said than done, sis," Kai told Nya as he drew out his sword. "We're a bit outnumbered."

"Nobody messes with my family!" Jay shouted as he drew out his nunchucks.

Jay then charged at the Serpentine before he jumped and slammed the ground with his nunchucks, causing The Serpentine to fall back.

"NINJA-GO!" Jay shouted as he did Spinjitzu and knocked a few more back. As he kept running, the wrecking ball was coming at him and he did a slide and he bent back to dodge the wrecking ball, and it got caught in a pole.

"NINJA-GO!" The rest of the ninjas shouted as they charged before doing Spinjitzu to knock a few Serpentine back.

A bunch of Serpentine had Wu surrounded, so he began to play the Sacred Flute. As he did, The Serpentine held their heads in pain. When they heard it, Nya took this opening to kick one in the head before she kicked another in the crotch, and then punched a third one in the face. She then grabbed one by the legs and started spinning it around before letting go.

"I gotta say, Sensei," Nya said as she went up to Wu. "I think we make a pretty good duet."

Just then, loud music was heard and they looked up to see Lloyd and Melissa with a boom box playing to drown out the music from the flute.

"Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you and your friend should be on?" Wu asked as loud as he could through the music as Lloyd turned up the volume.

"Sorry, Uncle, I can't hear you!" Lloyd shouted.

"How's that flute gonna help you, now?" Melissa shouted in a mocking tone.

When a Serpentine came up from behind Wu and was ready to bite him, Edna hit it in the head with a frying pan to knock it out.

"Yeah, way to go, Edna," Ed told his wife.

"NINJA-GO!" All four ninjas shouted as they did Spinjitzu and chased after The Serpentine.

As the Serpentine ran from the ninjas, they saw the statue of Jay his dad was working on, and bit into it. When they stopped, the ground began to shake as the statue came to life and walked around the corner for the ninjas to see.

"Ah, what is that thing?" Jay asked when they saw it.

"It was supposed to be in your honor, Son, but do you like it?" Ed asked hopefully as the statue went after them.

"Thanks, but no thanks," Jay said.

The ninjas then made a run for it as the statue slammed its giant nunchucks to the ground. As they ran, they saw the wrecking ball up ahead and it was aiming at them.

"Oh, why'd you have to be born in a junkyard?" Cole asked Jay.

"I know, tell me about it." Jay agreed.

The wrecking ball swung at them, and the Ninjas jumped over it. When they landed, they noticed that they were short one.

"Uhh, weren't there four of us?" Kai wondered. "Where's Jay?"

Jay managed to get on the wrecking ball before he backflipped off of it, and landed to where a Serpentine had been controlling it before he knocked it out. He was confused by the controls as it was a snake face that hissed at him.

"Let's see if I can work with this," Jay said before he pushed the fang-like lever forward.

The statue came at the others and brought his nunchucks down on Cole as he used his scythe to block and hold the attack.

"Ugh! Don't worry, I got it," Cole said as he struggled to hold it.

The statue was pushing down harder on Cole before Jay figured out how the wrecking ball worked. Lloyd and Melissa watched as Jay swung the wrecking ball and knocked down the statue.

"I told you, I had it," Cole told Jay.

Lloyd and Melissa looked down to where the statue landed after it was hit before they looked at the ninjas who had their weapons ready.

"Oh, that's not good," Melissa said worriedly.

"Retreat!" Fangtom shouted.

Just then, the Rattlecopter rose up from behind Fangtom, Lloyd, and Melissa while the rest of The Serpentine and the things they turned into snakes ran away. The ninjas watched as Lloyd, Melissa, and Fangtom flew away on the Rattlecopter.

"They're getting away with the staff," Nya said as Jay's parents were looking more green.

"Ah, right, now would be a good time to have our dragons," Jay said as his parents walked up to him.

"Uhh, it'ssss okay, Sssson." Ed said to Jay more snake-like.

"There's still a way," Wu spoke.

"How?" Jay asked desperately.

"Part of reaching your full potential is understanding your weapon's potential," Wu told them. "Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked."

"What? This is not the time to be cryptic." Jay complained.

"He's saying that our weapons are vehicles themselves." Zane translated.

"Oh, don't tell me that I have to ride this thing like a witch on a broomstick," Kai said as he looked at his sword.

"Jay, concentrate on unlocking your Golden Weapon," Wu told him. "Let your heart guide you. Imagine you are taking flight."

Jay looked at his nunchucks and thought for a moment. He then took a deep breath before he spun around his nunchucks as lightning struck around him. He then hovered in the air in a ball of electricity before a bright light covered him. When the light died down, he was sitting in a blue jet covered in electricity.

"Whoa!" Jay cheered in amazement as he looked at his new ride. "Did I just do that?"

Kai looked at his sword when he saw Jay's nunchucks transformed before he held it. He then swung it across before he put his hand across the blade, and it caught on fire. He then tossed it in the air as flames rose up underneath him before he stabbed the ground with the sword, and it transformed into a red motorcycle with blades on the side.

Zane spun his shurikens around as ice formed. When he did, they took the form of a bike. Before he got on it and revved it up, a burst of light caused the ice to break turning into a white and dark blue motorcycle with a bit of ice on the front and back.

Cole spun his scythe around his back before he tossed it up in the air before it floated above him. The earth below then gathered around the scythe as it rose beneath him. Once it was big enough, Cole grabbed the scythe and struck the small mountain of earth to cause a bright flash of light. The scythe took the form of a big black 4x4 vehicle with elements corresponding to the earth.

Cole then gave a small chuckle. "I hate to hurt Rocky's feelings, but I think he's just been replaced." He said while looking at his new ride.

Jay's jet hovered in the air as the wings opened and the blades on the wings popped out before taking off to the sky. The others revved up their vehicles before they drove off and went after The Serpentine.

"Does your flute turn into anything?" Nya asked Wu as he looked at his flute.

"I wish," Wu answered simply.

The Rattlecopter was flying with Lloyd, Melissa, and Fangtom riding it when all of a sudden Jay in his jet zoomed passed him.

"Whoa! What the heck was that?" Lloyd asked.

"Was that one of the ninjas?" Melissa questioned in shock. "When did they get new vehicles?"

"Whoops, heh-heh, overshot that a little," Jay said as he realized his mistake.

Jay then turned his jet around and flew towards the Rattlecopter with the others not too far behind, and then Jay had the jet's targeting system on the Rattlecopter.

"Let's see what this baby can do," Jay said eagerly as he pushed one of the buttons which apparently was the wrong one as the wind protector of the jet popped open causing the whole thing to go out of control, and was swerving from side to side.

"Looks like the blue ninja doesn't know how to fly a plane," Lloyd said as Melissa and Fangtom nodded in agreement.

But then, their eyes widened in shock as they saw the out-of-control jet heading straight towards them.

"And, it's heading our way, duck!" Melissa yelled as she, Lloyd, and Fangtom ducked down as Jay flew by them, and they all sighed in relief that he missed until Melissa noticed something. "Uhh, General, where's your staff?"

"Wait, what?" Fangtom asked in shock as he noticed that the hand holding his staff was empty. "My staff! Thossse Ninjas... Ssstole my ssstaff."

Jay then noticed that the staff was in his hands, having to have grabbed it out of pure luck when he zoomed by the Rattlecopter.

"I got it! I got it, ha-ha!" Jay cheered, but his celebration was short-lived as in a split second, his jet turned back into nunchucks. "Uh-oh! That's not good...AHHHHH!" He screamed as he fell to the earth.

"Jay, you need to concentrate," Kai told him.

"I can't!" Jay screamed as he was still in freefall, unable to do anything but scream his head off.

"I think we're gonna have to catch him," Cole said. "I got him, I got him."

"No, I got him," Kai said.

"He's mine," Zane said.

When Zane, Kai, and Cole bumped their vehicles against each other, a flash of light caused their weapons to turn back. and all three of them fell to the ground.

Jay was getting closer and closer to the ground, until Nya, Wu, and his parents, who were looking more green and their mouths were more snake-like, drove by in Ed and Edna's vehicle and Jay landed on the seat of the vehicle.

"Uh, heh, heh, nice catch, Nya," Jay said.

"Oh, I knew I liked thisss girl." Edna said to Ed.

Fangtom had the Rattlecopter lower so that he could get the other Fangpyers' attention.

"Everyone, attack and... Get my ssstaff back!" Fangtom ordered.

The Fangpyers then advanced towards the ninjas. Seeing the army approaching, Kai, Zane, and Cole tried to bring out their vehicles, but nothing happened.

"Huh? Why isn't this working?" Kai asked in confusion before Nya arrived.

"Your weapon is merely an extension of your razor-sharp mind," Wu told them. "If your mind is immobile, so is your weapon."

"Oh boy! Oh gosh! Oh, golly! Oh darn!" Ed gripped. "Get in, boyssss."

Kai, Zane, and Cole jumped onto the vehicle as Nya sped as fast as she could to the Bounty.

"We have to get back to headquarters," Jay said as Nya drove.

"They're getting away!" Melissa shouted when she saw them.

"Not for long, after them!" Lloyd ordered as the Rattlecopter and the Fangpyer went after them.

The ninjas soon reached the Bounty as everyone, but Nya and Jay's parents headed for the bridge.

"Come with me," Nya told Ed and Edna who had snake tails and had some scales. Nya then took the jewel out of the staff. "Once we reverse the venom, we can fix you." She explained as the three went below deck.

"Man your stations, everyone," Jay told them as they entered the bridge.

Jay then went over to the button as Kai looked out the window and saw the Serpentine heading towards them.

"Jay, you better hurry," Kai told him.

"I've been waiting for this moment," Jay said as he pressed the button, but nothing happened.

"They're gaining on us," Kai added.

Nya and Jay's parents then came into the bridge as she gave them the anti-venom in teacups.

"Bottomssss up," Ed said before he and Edna took a sip of the anti-venom.

They both laughed as they glowed, and the anti-venom took effect, returning them back to normal.

"Ugh! I don't get what's wrong." Jay said as he repeatedly pushed the button. "I spent forever working on this. It's supposed to work." He said as his dad walked over to him.

"Uhh, son, maybe I can help." Ed got Jay's attention.

"Dad, you're okay," Jay said with relief.

"You're darn tootin'! OK, let's have a look." Ed said as he checked and worked to see if he could get it working. "Oh yeah, uh-huh, oh, that should do it. Now, try it." He said as he stood up and Jay pushed the button again.

On the outside, the sails popped open and on the sides of the ship. The back turned into rotors and lifted the Destiny's Bounty up into the air.

"No! No! No! No!" Lloyd shouted when he saw the ship rising.

"How do the ninjas keep getting these things?" Melissa complained before she and Lloyd coughed from the rotor's smoke.

As the Bounty pulled back, Nya lost her balance and dropped the staff. It fell out and off the Bounty before it bumped one of the Serpentine on the head. The Destiny's Bounty then took off, and flew away from them as The Rattlecopter lowered, allowing Fangtom to reclaim his staff.

"These ninjassss... They mussst be ssstopped." Fangtom said.

"Oh, tell me about it," Lloyd groaned in agreement.

"Join the club, we got jackets," Melissa followed in a deadpanned tone.

As the Bounty flew, Jay was with his parents.

"We'll get you back to the junkyard, just as soon as the coast is clear." Jay told his parents, "But stay as long as you like. It's nice having you here."

"Oh, take a note, Edna," Ed told her. "Of all our inventions, this one is our greatest," he said as he held Jay close.

"Oh, I already know, dear," Edna said as she threw away her notebook and joined her husband and son in a group hug as Wu watched Jay with his family and smiled at the sight.

To be continued...

A/N: And that's episode 3, and I just wanna say that writing Fangtom was hard, because of his two heads, but I did the best I could, and I can understand Jay being embarrassed by his parents, but every parent annoys their kids from time to time. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this chapter, and stay tuned for the next chapter. Leave a review and tell us what you think, and also hope all our American readers had a great Thanksgiving.
