A/n: Very late update. Watched the Game Awards and was hyped the whole day and spent it gloating to friends that Elden Ring got GOTY. Yay!
Also, had to report about a patient. Just ate up the time to write.
I do not own RWBY or AdventureQuest Worlds.
Adam held a hand to his chest, rubbing it idly. "Move faster!" He yelled. "We have to get clear fast before we blow this place up!" The other White Fang moved faster, sticking the bombs to the tunnels, drilling through the floors. They dumped the larger bombs into the drilled holes, not even bothering to cover their work.
It pained him that he left his comrade behind to fight alone against the dogs of their oppressors, but Beatrice's strength was unmatched in that kind of fight. And with the assassin sent by Cinder arriving to help safeguard their work and escape…
For once, Adam felt hope in their work. Even as his heart ached, he continued to lead his troops. There was much work left to do.

Beatrice smashed a fist into one of the walls, barely missing Blake, who had vanished with a clone. Blake shot at Beatrice as she backed off with her pistol. Her weapon was broken at the base, the blade, missing, but she still had her cleaver and pistol. It did nothing, with all the bullets rusting away. But that was the reason why they delegated fighting Beatrice to her other comrades right now.
Nora shot at Beatrice some more, and the medic had to dodge to grenades that exploded in pink blasts. She flipped backwards, dodging more of the projectiles Yang and Weiss sent her. The fiery explosion and hailstorm the two sent her destroyed the cargo containers around them.
"You guys really need to chill!" Beatrice said even as she was being pelted by projectiles everywhere. She was answered by another ice shard slamming just beyond her temple as she ducked down to dodge. "Just like that. Come now."
"Shut up Beatrice!" Blake shouted back. She shot at Beatrice some more. "You're going down!"
"Very original, Blake." Beatrice rolled her eyes. She grabbed the ice shard that was just launched at her and pulled it from the cargo container. She crushed it in her palm as she charged the group again. Letting the ice melt, the water flowed around her like a snake, and she directed it towards Weiss.
"You shouldn't have let them use ice dust, Blake! You gone stupid after going traitor? Aren't you going to school now?" Beatrice taunted. Weiss projected a white shield to let the water snake bounce off, but the water spread over her shield and converged in front of her. Weiss yelped and jumped back as the snake reformed in her face.
"Yang, cover her!" Blake told her partner. "Do not let your weapons touch the water!" Yang nodded shot more fiery bullets turning the snake into steam.
Nora struggled to target Beatrice as she was charging near her friends. She couldn't shoot now as the blast would extend to them all. "Guys! Move back!" She yelled. "I can't shoot with you guys near her!"
The steam reformed back into water, and spread towards all four girls into smaller needles of high pressure fluid. Without any choices to defend against them, the girls tried to outrun the needles. While they were doing that, Beatrice targeted Weiss again. She reached the girl with frighteningly fast movement, and smashed a fist into the Schnee's midsection. Yang charged at her with a yell before Beatrice could drain Weiss, and led with a high kick targeting Beatrice's head. She took it, and the half-mask Beatrice wore was smashed apart, and the mad medic was launched back. But she had already taken her aim for targeting Weiss: Myrtenaster.
Beatrice looked up, skidding along the ground. She wielded the Dust rapier, swinging it at her side. Half of Beatrice's face was scarred; stretching from her right eye down the side of her jaw. It served to make her crazy smile even creepier.
"My weapon!" Weiss held out a hand. Without it, she was useless in the fight. Beatrice smirked. "My turn." She replied, swinging the rapier, channeling the dust within letting loose a hailstorm that the girls were forced to dodge.
Blake gritted her teeth. They have to somehow take it back, or else their Dust user of an enemy will overwhelm them with her advantages.

The cloud covered claymore swung, and Ruby met it with the shaft of Crescent Rose. Ruby grit her teeth in effort. Ella smiled at her. "You are young, but strong. However…" A blast of wind sent her away. "This is not enough!" She followed with a swipe of her great blade upwards, raising a slash of wind that forced Ruby to use her semblance to zip away from. The attack hit the walls of the tunnels, cracking it, making the area around them shake.
Pyrrha entered the melee and exchanged blows with Ella. Each strike of her blows were heavy, making the redhead's arms shake. She used her semblance to guide the blade away, but the claymore smashed against her Miló with such force that her efforts were useless. Her grip on her xiphos threatened to be forced away with her trying to deflect the blows.
Even Pyrrha had her limits. With a side swing of the claymore, Pyrrha was left open. Ella raised a foot and prepared to kick forward. Jaune was instantly in front of his partner, shield up, and absorbing the bone shattering kick Ella had given them. "Ggghk…!" Jaune ground his teeth together, trying to hold on. The kick wasn't just from Ella's strength; it had power of a focused pressure of the wind behind it. He and his partner were pushed back.
Ruby and Ren settled for peppering Ella with shots from their weapons from afar. Ella swept the claymore in a circle, moving the blade behind her head, sweeping with a blast of wind. Most of Ren's shots were swept away, but Ruby's sniper rounds got through the gale force wind, but the claymore absorbed the high impact bullets.
Pyrrha and Ren jumped back in. With Pyrrha on one side and Ren on the other, they double teamed the huntress with slashes. Ella masterfully deflected each one, put on the defensive. Ruby entered the fray, spinning her great scythe in a wide slash, catching Ella's arm in the curve of the scythe, and shooting out the end, threatening to pull her arm off. Ella tanked through the hit, and countered by pulling Ruby closer with her own weapon. Ella spun, pushing Pyrrha and Ren off, and throwing Ruby to the side with her own scythe.
Jaune charged the woman, bashing her with his shield, making Ella back away with a pained grunt. Pyrrha followed up by throwing her a javelin. Ella deflected it, letting the weapon fly behind her back, and the redhead used her semblance to pull it back, right into Ella's blind side.
"Wha-?!" Senses flaring, Ella leaned to the side just in time to dodge the spear covered in black aura. Pyrrha didn't stop there. The javelin spun and targeted Ella again, jabbing quickly to her vitals.
"This seems a little silly…" Ella muttered while parrying the weapon floating in mid-air. While Ella was distracted, Ren took the opportunity to kick the huntress behind the legs, forcing her to kneel. Jaune and Ruby rushed in, pointing their weapons to her neck. Ren pointed the edge of Stormflower to Ella's carotid, and Pyrrha jabbed Ella in the forehead, forcing her down, and pointing the javelin against her as well.
"Please surrender." Ren plead. "We just have to get to the White Fang." Pyrrha was trying to use her semblance on the claymore to take it away from the huntress. Jaune and Ruby gulped, nervous of their standoff. Ella shook her head. "Please now, child of Anima." She addressed Ren. From within Ella, a great storm of wind flung all of them back. The current of wind was so strong it was almost burning to feel in their skin, and was forcing them to be stuck on the walls. "I told you how I won't move, unless I get my duel with my target. Surely you know how these duels work from back home, right?" Ella's voice echoed even through the wind's howling.
Ruby gritted her teeth and used her semblance, forcing herself to move against the storm. The mass of rose petals threatened to scatter into the wind, but Ruby held on to herself and carried on. Ella looked at Ruby's form expectantly. "A strong will. But can you withstand the storm coming to you, my kin?" She said. "If you cannot, then your friends will die here." The pressure of the winds was slowly being felt by Ren, Jaune, and Pyrrha. Jaune's chestplate was already cracking, and felt like it was crushing his lungs. It was the same for Ren and Pyrrha, their breaths being forced out of them from the air pressure. Reflexively, they tried to inhale, but can't feel their own lungs expanding from their own ribs pushing it back. They felt their eyes slowly darken.
Desperately, Pyrrha tried to use her semblance to move her javelin, but it was useless. The spear was swept through the air, stabbing deep into the walls of the area. It was getting harder for her to open her eyes.
Ruby's eyes was tearing up, both from effort and the mortal danger of her friends were in. Slowly, the mass of petals inched closer and closer to the huntress, who stood in the middle of the area unmoving. "Their lungs would crush up in their chest and collapse. The lack of oxygen to the brain would cause your friends to fall unconscious." Ren and Pyrrha were already knocked out. Jaune struggled to stay awake, forcing himself to look forward. "After four minutes of a lack of oxygen, brain damage will set in." Ella recited, as if knowing how she had dealt with people from before. "After that, permanent disability. Or death." The huntress smiled at the struggling little reaper. "Do your best child. If you fail, your friends' dreams will be destroyed, or their lives will be gone. Can you handle that on your soul?"
Ruby yelled, and struggle on, pushing harder and harder, until-!
"She exploded?!" Ella gasped, seeing rose petals fly across the room, scattered about by the wind. "Where'd she go?!" She tried to follow the movements of the rose petals, but there were too many of them.
The rose petals moving against the wind, they formed into one place, and Ruby Rose re-emerged from behind Ella. Roaring, Ruby slashed with all her might at the huntress, who was blindsided, and was launched back from Ruby's impressive sneak attack. Ella slammed back first into the wall and slid to the ground.
The winds died down, and Jaune coughed and heaved a breath. He ran to his partner and friend, seeing them involuntary gasp up air to their lungs. They remained knocked out of the fight, however.
Ella picked herself up from where Ruby had smashed her into. "Ahahaha! That was amazing!" She praised the little reaper, whose silver eyes were now glowing ominously. Ruby snarled in reply, something much unlike her, Jaune felt. Ella's small smile now blossomed into a full excited grin. "Let's see what more you have, my kin!" The two silver-eyed warriors launched themselves at each other.

Beatrice wasn't using Myrtenaster as a rapier, like Weiss would. Taking advantage of the Dust within its cylinders, she let shards of ice rain across the battlefield, scattering the girls. Nora shot some more grenades at the mad medic, but with the gravity dust within the weapon, Beatrice deflected it easily back to her. "Aack!" Nora yelped, backing off from the explosion her own grenade made.
"Right. Time to die!" Beatrice shouted, pointing at Nora. Caught off guard, the orange haired teen felt a sharp pain in her chest. She tried to run, but Beatrice ran towards her, taking a swipe with a rapier to bat her arms away, and put an arm around Nora, putting her in a chokehold. Nora reverted the grenade launcher to hammer form, and shoved the handle to Beatrice's ribs, but the long shaft turned to rusted dust. Magnhild was left with just a broken handle and the hammer head, and Nora dropped the weapon as the handle she was holding on turned to dust in her hands.
"Nora!" Yang screamed. She moved to her friend, eyes and hair blazing in anger, but the rapier blade to Nora's throat halted her in her steps. "Nuh-uh blondie." Beatrice warned. "You don't want to take another step here." She said.
Nora struggled, and Beatrice slowly drained the orangette of her strength; Nora's shaking turning weaker and weaker. "Told you I'd kill you first, girl." She grinned, putting her chin on Nora's shoulder as she slowly drained Nora of her vital fluids. Beatrice inhaled the smell of Nora's hair. "Now stop struggling, okay? This doesn't have to hurt for you sweetie." Nora choked, clawing at Beatrice's arm. She felt weaker and weaker and threatened to collapse to the floor, but Beatrice's hold on her forced her to an upright position.
From behind, a hand had snuck to Beatrice's own throat. "Get off her!" Weiss screamed, trying to pull the mad medic off Nora. The heiress snaked her arm around Beatrice's neck and clawed at her face with her hands. "Auuugh!" Beatrice yelped at the Schnee's sneak attack. Her tender, scarred skin from her burns was irritated by the Weiss tugging away on it.
Yang, taking advantage of Beatrice's sudden distraction, charged in. She pushed Nora and Beatrice apart, and Blake helped pull the weakened Nora out of Beatrice's range. "Get off me!" Beatrice screamed. Weiss suddenly pulled away from Beatrice and pulled on Yang's hair roughly, giving Beatrice the chance to push both girls off her.
"Shit! Weiss! Snap out of it!" Yang yelped in pain as her teammate continued to pull on her hair. She even ignored her usual anger over it to the panic she had with Weiss suddenly acting out of character. "Wake up! You—Augh!" Beatrice smashed the hilt of the rapier across the blonde brawler's face, sending her sprawling to the floor. The controlled Weiss crawled to the downed Yang and held her hands to Yang's throat. Being stronger than Weiss' puny melee strength, Yang easily pushed her teammate off her, only to eat a foot to the face with Beatrice kicking her in the teeth.
Blake intervened, kicking Beatrice's foot away before she could stomp on her partner's face. She smashed a fist across the medic's cheek. This bought time to struggle to her feet and try and help her partner. Sensing that she was about to crowded again, Beatrice jumped back, and channeled the dust in the rapier again, letting out a cone of flames that kept the two huntresses-in-training at bay.
"Do you even have the time to deal with me?" Beatrice smirked. From behind Blake, Weiss smashed the head of Magnhild across her face. Yang screamed for her partner, but Beatrice was there first. The medic stomped on the chest of her ex-comrade, putting the edge of the rapier to her throat.
"Let's try this again, blondie." Beatrice said. Yang tried to step closer, but Beatrice pushed the Myrtenaster closer to Blake. Her partner tried to struggled, but with Beatrice's foot on her chest and Weiss holding her shoulder down, she wasn't going anywhere. Beatrice raised her hand and pointed at Yang. Immediately, the blond felt her heart hitch and ache.
Far away, leaning at a wall, Nora watched helplessly as Beatrice forced Yang to back off. Her legs were numb, and her beloved weapon was being used to hurt her friend. She teared up even as she tried to crawl her way back up to the others.
Weiss raised the hammer, and slammed it across Blake's face, breaking her teammate's aura. Yang choked a bit, feeling the blood well on her chest. "You shouldn't have let your other teammates through to that tunnel." Beatrice shook her head. "Then you wouldn't have to see your teammate kill my friend here, would you?"
Blake let out a pained groan. "Sorry, right. Ex-friend I meant." She ground her heel down on Blake's chest. "Fucking race traitor, your friend is. How can you stand breathing the same air as her? I'm betting that within a year of you people meeting, Blake had already crossed you in a big way."
Yang gritted her teeth through the sharp pain in her chest. Beatrice wasn't focusing on her as she was too busy gloating at her partner. She took a slight step forward. Then another, slowly.
"Now it's too late for regrets, Blake. Pity Adam won't see you like this, you know? He's much too busy to be dealing with filth like you." Beatrice stomped on Blake's chest again, the force threatening to crack her ribs. "And now, you can't even run away like you always do. At least you'll get to watch the opening salvos of our presence here in the city." Beatrice grinned wildly. "It's gonna be so wonderful."
Yang roared, pushing through even though her heart threatened to seize up in her chest. She launched herself at Beatrice, smashing punch after punch to the medic's face. Beatrice lost her hold on Myrtenaster, dropping it.
Blake, suddenly freed, pushed Weiss' hand on her shoulder off her. Weiss made to swing the hammer again, but the clumsy swing was easily avoided, the hammerhead smashing to the floor beside Blake's head. Blake kicked her teammate off her. "Sorry Weiss." She muttered, watching the white haired teen roll away across the floor. With Yang's assault on Beatrice, the hold on Weiss' mind was broken, and the heiress laid on the floor, unconscious.
Beatrice held a hand to Yang's face to push her away, and used her semblance to sap Yang's strength away. "Fuck off brat!" Beatrice roared, upending their positions, and now Beatrice was at the top. Beatrice punched at Yang's head. "You four are becoming a pain in my ass!" She growled out in rage. Yang held her arms to shield her head from Beatrice's blows, but her arms felt softer and softer each time, like noodles. Yang felt her vision blur and go black. Her aura had broken sometime after one of Beatrice's punches swiped at her jaw. She couldn't even use her semblance; how can she even throw a punch when blood wasn't even pumping to her arms.
A heel slammed into the side of Beatrice's face. Beatrice grunted in pain and scrambled to get back up to her feet but another kick smashed Beatrice's nose in. After abusing her semblance, and taking an inhuman amount of punishment from the four girls, even her own aura broke. Seeing red, Blake snarled and took out the sheath of her weapon from her back, whacking the woman across the face. Again and again and again.
Despite the brutal beatdown Blake was giving her, Beatrice cackled. "Never thought you had it in you, Blake!" Another smash, and a few teeth was loosed from Beatrice's skull. "I always knew you were a bit squeamish in killing, but to see you like this now?" Blake whipped the cleaver's flat edge across Beatrice's temple, but the mad medic continued on. "Beacon really has turned you for the better Blake. You're a killer now!" Beatrice laughed through her agony.
"Blake!" Nora yelled. With a surprising burst of strength, the orange haired teen stood up and held her arms around the enraged Blake. "Blake, please. Stop. She's beaten." She said softly, trying to cool down the furious cat faunus from brutalizing Beatrice any further.
Nora was right. Beatrice had been beaten to an inch of her life, but she was still somehow breathing and cackling her head off. Jaw dislocated, nose broken in, eyes closed with cuts and bruises. It was brutal beating and Blake was so close to just ending the woman's life. "You don't want this Blake." Nora pleaded. "Don't become like her."
"Hahahaha!" Beatrice let out a strangled laugh. "You were always like us Blake. I'm happy Beacon dug this side of yours up for you. Even if you're a filthy traitor to your kind who ran away from her people, you can't run away from what you've become."
Blake's tears poured down her cheeks. Her cleaver fell to the floor, and she held her head down on her hands. "I…I just wanted to save Yang from her." She choked out between sobs. "I didn't want her to kill any of us."
Nora rocked the crying Blake on her arms, even as she struggled to stay awake herself. They ignored Beatrice's insane cackling, trying to comfort themselves from the torment.
"Even as you lie here useless," Beatrice spat. "My comrades are preparing to turn this fucking city into a crater. All of us are dead anyway." Nora and Blake shuddered at what she revealed. "And your little friends won't be able to overcome that monster that had arrived. They won't even be able to scratch her." Beatrice smiled a horrifying smile, truly marred by her dislocated jaw nearly hanging limp, and the blood pouring from her wounds.
"Do you ever shut up?" A voice said. Beatrice turned her head at the voice. "You-?!" She snarled before the black and white sneaker shoes slammed across her face. The beaten Beatrice rolled across the cement for a while, but she laid there finally without a noise and unmoving.
Blake and Nora looked up at the person that had just arrived. A man in a black cap.

Johnny had arrived just in time. Yang and Weiss was knocked out, Blake and that other girl looked like they were put through the grinder. But it seemed that they had taken out one of the White Fang officers, which was great. Still, even he couldn't carry them all out of here.
"Glynda." Johnny spoke to the woman he had called. "The kids are here. Team RWBY and one other girl." He said, looking at Nora who was hugging Blake. "Can you take them home? Thanks."
Johnny sighed. "Alright. Where's the rest of your team?" He asked Blake.
A/n: Fighting Beatrice always ended messily, even back in our tabletop games lol that's why she was my favorite go to villain to use.
