Chapter One: A Day Off with the Baboon Twins

The Lion Guard didn't have any patrols to do today because it was their day off. They were all hanging out in the lair, enjoying their free time. Fuli, however, was waiting excitedly for her best friend, Bongo, the mischievous baby baboon. But today, she not only had to babysit Bongo, she also had to babysit his older twin brother, Bobo. Bobo was also mischievous but very talkative. Although Bobo was a baby, he was a fast learner and could speak in full sentences, while Bongo still had trouble because oh his stutter. He could still say words little by little.

Bunga: "Fuli must be really excited to babysit Bongo today." He commented.

Ono: "Yeah, not only just Bongo, but Bobo will be babysat as well." He added.

Beshte: "I can't wait to get to know Bobo." He said with a smile.

Kion: "Yeah, Bobo seems like a nice baboon." He agreed.

Soon, Bobo and Bongo's mom arrived with both of them. Bongo ran to his best friend to give her a hug.

Fuli: "Hi, Bongo." She greeted warmly.

Bongo: *stutters* "Hi, Fu-Fu-Fuli." He replied, hugging her tightly.

Kion, Bunga, Ono, and Beshte: "Hi, Bongo, Bobo." They greeted.

Bobo: "Hi, Lion Guard." He said confidently.

Bongo: "H-H-Hi." He echoed shyly.

Bongo's Mom: "Alright, Fuli. I've brought both Bongo and Bobo here for you to babysit. Do you think you can handle both of them?" She approached Fuli.

Bongo was playfully tugging Fuli's tail, making her giggle.

Fuli: "Hehe, yes, I can handle it." She assured her.

Bongo's Mom: "Thank you so much." She said gratefully. "Bongo, Bobo, you two behave yourselves and listen to Fuli at all times." She turned to her sons.

Bobo: "Okay, Mom." He responded obediently.

Bongo: *stutters* "Yes, M-M-Mom." He replied.

With a final wave, their mom left, trusting Fuli to take care of her boys. Both baboon twins started playing with Fuli, with Bongo playfully tugging her tail and Bobo pulling her ears.

Fuli: "Hehehe. Um, you guys, you don't mind helping me babysit both Bobo and Bongo, do you?" She asked her friends.

Kion: "Sure, we don't mind at all." He replied.

Beshte: "Yeah, I would love to take care of Bongo and Bobo." He said cheerfully.

Ono: "Hehe, it seems to me they're both quite the handful." He observed.

Fuli: "Hehe, you're telling me." She giggled.

Bunga: "Hey Bobo, do you want to play tag?" He suggested.

Bobo: "Sure." He said, stopping his playful tug on Fuli's ears and getting off her back, while Bongo continued playfully tugging her tail.

Fuli: "Hehe, thanks, Bunga." She said gratefully.

Bunga: "Don't mention it." He replied.

Bobo tagged Bunga, tapping his shoulder.

Bobo: "Tag! You're it!" He called, and Bunga began to chase him around the lair.

The Lion Guard now had fun with both of the baboon twins.
