Though one quick final note, this chapter takes place at the same time as chapter 12, this chapter being what Lucy was up to while Vanellope did her thing last chapter
Chapter 13. Lucy's Enforcers Part I
Lucy would walk down the Fungeon steps, she'd reach into her purse and pull out a small orb, she'd walk by 3 cells leaving Nikki in the first one, Nya in the second and Ella in the third.
She'd then take out her phone and call Christie and Linke. "I'm in the Fungeon, take one of the passage ways I showed you…my mother doesn't wish to be disturbed in the throne room"
"Alright." They'd respond in unison and hang up.
A few minutes later Lucy would see a door opening in the wall and Christie and Linke would walk out.
Lucy would smile and gesture at the cells. "The gangs all here."
Linke would look in the cells and smile. "It'll be better once they're loyal to you Lucy."
"All in due time, follow me we'll get everything set up in the chambers below."
"Vot's going on my darling?" Christie would ask
Lucy would smile. "I'm preparing all of you to be my enforcers and protectors, just like Adorabeezle and her gang are for my mother."
"That sounds incredible." Linke would state
"Come we don't have time to waste they won't be out for long." Lucy would walk to the stairs leading to the deeper portions of the Fungeon with Christie and Linke following close behind.
(A few minutes later)
Ella would wake up in her cell, she'd look around and go to the cell bars, once she'd see the hallway clear she'd do the combo Lucy had told her, she'd hit the cell bars, left wall, back wall and right wall as hard as she could than would rush to the door and kick it hard.
She'd quietly and calmly watch the door fly open than step out of the cell and notice Lucy leaning against the wall beside her, having hidden in one of the blind spots of the cell bars.
"I wasn't lying." Lucy would state with a smile
"It didn't hurt to check." Ella would calmly reply
"I get that, heck I would've done the same thing."
Ella would stay silent and look over her shoulder and see Christie and Linke carrying Nikki towards the stairs.
She'd take a deep breath and look back at Lucy. "So what's the plan?"
"At the moment I'm getting everything ready for your training, I'm moving Nikki now to avoid the unnecessary hassle of potentially having to fight her all the way down there, as for you I'll be putting you in Nya's cell, I did tell her she could have the chance to talk to you and I'm not going to go back on my word."
"Fair enough."
Lucy would smile. "Now turn around and put yours hands behind your head."
Ella would comply with the order. "Why are you having me do this?"
"Trust, we're currently building it here, I need to trust you don't make a move against me and you need to trust I won't take advantage of your current vulnerable position."
"Odd way of doing that but ok."
Lucy would walk her over to Nya's cell and open the door, Ella would walk in and Lucy would close the door behind her. "I'll be back to fetch you both soon, I trust you'll still be there when I get back."
Ella would silently nod and watch her leave, she'd look at the door and the cell bars, she'd hesitate for a moment before she'd hear Nya waking up and she'd turn around to look at her.
Nya would sit up rubbing her head. "Ella?"
"Hey Nya."
Nya would begin to shake nervously
"Don't be scared." Ella would state
"How are you not? Look at where we are!"
"In the Fungeon waiting for Lucy to come fetch us."
"That doesn't scare you?!"
"Believe me it does I dread it more than I'm visibly letting on."
"How are you staying so calm?"
"Remember what our parents told us, Vanellope thrived on fear, nothing made her stronger, happier and worse than seeing her victims in utter terror, it powered her like electricity powers a game console, I would expect Lucy to thrive off the same-thing."
"She had me believe she put a bomb in my mouth!"
"You believing her and reacting accordingly fuelled her."
"Why are you acting like any of this is ok?!"
"It's not ok but I'm recognizing the situation for what it is, our parents stories were all true and if anything were watered down, all our parents are either captured, dead or worse, the other children won't be harmed, and Lucy will train us to become her personal enforcers just like Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia and Citrusella are Vanellope's enforcers, you can include Snowanna in that but she lacks the loyalty and dedication of the others, which Lucy plans on ingraining into our minds."
Nya would shake even more. "And you're ok with that?"
Ella would sigh and sit down. "My opinion doesn't matter anymore, what matters is I serve our best friend and princess and serve her well."
"Is that why you want to be captain? Trying to pretend you didn't run like everyone else did?!"
"No."
"Then why are you acting like this is good for us?!"
"How well this goes depends on Lucy, and look at it this way Nya, everyone that could defeat Vanellope is gone, there is nothing we can do to change what's going to happen, Lucy is giving us a chance to remain unaltered, where our decisions will be our decisions, our thoughts will be our thoughts, and given our current situation? If that's the best I can ask for? I'll gladly take it."
"Why?!"
"Swizzle told me how being altered and changed felt like, being a passenger in one's own body, none of your thoughts, feelings or decisions being your own, and I never intend to feel that feeling, and when I heard Lucy enter our hideout, I saw what the future was, it wasn't going to be how it was for the past few years, it was going to be under Vanellope's iron rule, Lucy wanted us to be her enforcers, I asked to never experience what Swizzle experienced, she is granting my wish in exchange for my service and loyalty…in the grand scheme of things? It's a small price to pay."
"You do know Vanellope heavily altered her enforcers right?"
"So take what I said about Swizzle and somehow make it worse."
Nya would shudder at the thought of it
"Though I think at this point they genuinely believe everything they do is by their own accord." Ella would state calmly
"That doesn't make it better…"
"Though you understand me now?"
Nya would hesitate for a moment than nod
"Thank you…I'm not doing what I'm doing out of hate or contempt for anyone, I'm doing it since I have no other choice and this way I remain unaltered."
"Didn't you say before that Vanellope wasn't going to harm any of the children?"
"Her daughter, most prized possession and asset wants her 5 best friends to become her enforcers…do you really believe she wouldn't make an exception?"
Nya would begin trembling again
Before another word could be said Lucy would appear infront of the cell. "Hello girls."
Ella would look towards her calmly as Nya would shake in fear.
Lucy would smile as she'd open the door. "Both of you on your feet, we have so much to do."
Both girls would comply and her smile would grow. "Now put your hands behind your heads and walk out of the cell and to the stairs.
Both girls would follow her orders Ella remaining calm while Nya would be a nervous wreck.
Lucy would walk them down the stairs to one of the deeper parts of the Fungeon, they'd walk by several large rooms and chambers all shrouded in darkness, though Nya could make out the shape of a few torture devices hiding in the shadows
She'd gulp as she'd hear Lucy chuckle behind her. "Don't go looking at any of those, they're surprises for later."
Nya would begin to whimper as even Ella would begin looking visibly worried
She'd walk them into a large room where there'd be 5 grave sized holes in the floor, then see Nikki already in 1, while Christie and Linke would be standing quietly off to the side.
Lucy would have Ella stand infront of one and Nya infront of another. "Climb in girls…" She'd state with a smile
Ella would hesitate for a moment before jumping in, Nya meanwhile would begin to panic
"No, no, no, please! Please! Don't bury me alive!"
Lucy would shake her head chuckling. "Your order is to get in the hole, as an enforcer in training you're expected to follow every order to the letter."
Nya would look at the hole then back at Lucy, tears would begin running down her face, one of her bigger fears being buried alive.
Lucy would continue to smile and would retrieve a miniature bomb out of her purse. "I could always just feed you one of these."
More tears would fall down Nya's face as she'd begin to cry
Lucy would give her a small shove and she'd fall over into the hole, she'd try to climb out and would begin wailing hysterically when she'd fail.
Lucy's smile would only widen as she'd turn to Christie and Linke. "Same thing you 2, I had you dig 5 for a reason."
They'd nod and climb into the vacant holes, Lucy would slowly walk beside Nya's hole and watch her wail for a minute.
"If you keep this up I will bury you alive."
Nya would stop and look up at her and sob
"That's better…." Lucy would walk out of view and robotic arms would place a large metal bucket over each hole. "I suggest you take those and hold onto them for dear life…"
"Why?" Ella would ask
"I'm about to pour scolding hot water ontop of you, your only safety from that is those metal buckets."
Lucy would chuckle as she'd hear all 5 girls rip the buckets out of the robotic hands.
"This is to test your endurance, part of being my enforcers will require you to be both strong and tough…in the name of my safety you may very well have to take hits that would down lesser subjects, you'll need to be capable of taking punishment, enduring whatever pain it brings and be able to dish it right back…"
"Than I assume this is testing our current limits? See what you have to work with?" Ella would ask
"Indeed." Lucy would gleefully respond
"How long will this go on for?" Nya would whimper
"As long as necessary, you all will only leave the Fungeon when I have reforged you to be the perfect enforcers, I'll rebuild you both physically and mentally to be the very best, and honestly? I'm glad you were all my friends, I couldn't have asked for better."
"I regret not punching you in your little spoiled brat ass face the first day we met!" Nikki would roar out angrily
"That's hurtful Nikki." They'd hear Lucy reply as she'd hit a button
Nikki would see 2 hoses sprout out on either side of her and she'd get drenched in scolding hot water, she'd shriek loudly as everyone would hear Lucy laughing in response, they'd all begin shaking in fear as there'd hear Lucy pull a lever.
"Friends I'm going to have fun reforging you all, hold onto those buckets…water falls in 3…2….1…"
On cue each bucket would get filled with water, almost immediately the heat would go through the thin metal and into their hands, Lucy would walk back into view. "For anyone thinking about dropping it, take what Nikki just went through and magnify it, drop the bucket the hole fills with the same hot water, and your only way out will be to swim out."
She'd chuckle, Nya and Nikki would look at her horrified, Ella would keep the same calm demeanour she'd been maintaining, Linke and Christie would give her a calm nod as if understanding what exactly is being asked of them.
A few seconds later Nikki would let go of her bucket and get a shower of hot water as her reward, as she'd begin shrieking the pain would overwhelm Nya who'd let go of her bucket and also get hosed in hot water.
"2 down 3 to go…" she'd chuckle and look at Nya than at Nikki. "Don't worry your steam baths will begin once everyone else has reached their limit.
Both girls would shake in fear as Lucy would look at the bucket over Ella's head and smile. "Ella you better keep that above your head, the amount of steam coming off it is astounding…and oh boy I see your hands turning bright red already."
Ella would look up at Lucy barely being able to hold in her screams.
Lucy would look at a stop watch she'd be holding. "I'll admit I'm impressed, your pain tolerance is great so far…"
"You…gave…me…an…order…I…obey…your…commands…" Ella would respond through deep breathes fighting the urge to scream
Lucy would watch as Ella would finally reach her limit and drop the bucket, 2 hoses would sprout out in either side of her and hose her down, despite the unbelievable urge she'd withhold her screams she'd look back up at Lucy who'd smile. "Pick the bucket up."
"Why?"
"You're doing it again…I told you as captain I would push you harder….you last less than your first go around I make all 5 of you bath in that hot water for 5 minutes…succeed and you and the others will get to rest."
Ella would silently pick the bucket back up.
Lucy would turn to Christie and Linke who had been silently enduring. "A test for both of you…dunk yourselves with the buckets of water without screaming."
Both girls would turn the buckets upside down spilling all the water on them, both would grit their teeth hard holding in their screams of agony
Lucy would smile at both of them. "Good." She'd turn back to Ella as her bucket would be filled back up with water
Ella would look at Lucy trying to remain calm but Lucy would see her mask beginning to break. "You wore a strong mask Ella…but we both know it's breaking…"
Ella would look at her a worried look beginning to form.
"What was that you told Nya? You suspected I feed off of your fear? Terror? Dread?" She'd chuckle as her smile would turn villainous. "You were correct."
Ella would take deep breathes as the metal bucket would burn hot against her hands, though she wouldn't be capable of taking her eyes off Lucy.
"You will be my greatest enforcer Ella…but don't think for a second your mask will last with me…but not to worry…the mask I'll forge for you to wear will…"
Lucy would chuckle as the pain would become too much for Ella to bear and she'd drop the bucket.
"Oh looks like it's bath time!" Lucy would pull a remote out of her pocket and steaming hot water would pour out of large tubes placed about each hole, filling them rapidly
All 5 girls would scream as the water would quickly reach the top of their respective holes and they'd climb out and lay on the ground in pain
Lucy would take a few steps away from the group. "On your feet…all of you."
Linke and Christie would force themselves to their feet, Ella would take a few moments before pushing herself up.
Nya would look up and see Lucy glaring at her. "I said get up."
She'd take a few deep breathes and force herself to her feet.
Lucy's attention would turn to Nikki who'd still be lying down. "Nikki get up."
"Fuck you…"
Lucy would use the force to push her back into the boiling water and hold her down in it
The others would watch in fear as Nikki would thrash around violently, every now and again breaking through the surface and screaming in pain and agony.
Nikki would feel herself beginning to fade away, she'd fight harder to get to the surface but no matter hard she'd try something was keeping her below.
Though at the last possible moment she'd suddenly be pulled back up out of the water and flung hard into the wall, she'd take a deep breath than proceed to cough several times spitting up water each time.
After a moment of collecting herself she'd look up and see Lucy towering over her, she'd tremble abit and look at the others.
Linke and Christie would look at her with a look telling her she deserved it.
Ella would be silent, it being clear as day she wouldn't object to what Lucy was doing.
Nya would appear to scared to do anything that would risk angering Lucy.
Before Nikki could do anything else Lucy's would speak.
"Get up." The coldness in her voice would send shivers down Nikki's spine
Nikki would hesitate
Lucy's glare would be like daggers. "I said get up…"
Nikki would hesitantly standup and as she would Lucy would immediately knock her to the floor with a vicious hit to the jaw.
Nikki would look up at her again as Lucy would again give her the same order. "I said get up Nikki."
Nikki would get up only to get knocked back down again.
"How long are we going to do this for?!" Nikki would shout
"Until you follow my order…now get up, before I give you another bath…"
15 minutes would pass, Lucy giving the simple 2-word command, and every time Nikki would get to her feet Lucy would knock her right back down, all the while Nikki would see the other 4 not moving nor willingly to come to her aid.
"Why do you keep getting up?" Lucy would ask as she'd knock Nikki back down to the ground
"Because you ordered me too." Nikki would respond
"And why will you obey your orders no matter what they might be?"
"Because I have too-" before Nikki could finish her sentence Lucy would slam the hilt of her lightsaber directly on Nikki's nose shattering it almost immediately, Nikki would fall down to the ground screaming in pain.
"Get up!" Lucy would shout
Nikki would obey her only to once again be hit square in the face by the lightsaber hilt
Nya would watch in horror, she'd glance at Ella who'd be watching in silence showing no emotion
"How can you be ok with this?" She'd whisper
"Nikki upset our princess…she's receiving corrections…Lucy is talking to her in the only language Nikki will clearly understand." Ella would respond
"There's no way you are ok with this."
"As I told you…how you or I feel no longer matters, Lucy has plans for each of us and intends to see them through…she will make us enforcers one way or the other…if she has to use pain and agony to mold us than we will have chosen the hardest method available to us…"
"We were her friends, yet she's doing this to us…"
"Now we'll be her enforcers…we may not have chosen this but our Princess decided this would be our fate…the best way forward…is to obey."
"So much for free will."
"I'd rather obey than be altered…and I intend to remain unaltered…I suggest you do the same…"
Both would go silent as they'd hear something that would shake them to their very core, they'd hear Nikki cry and beg.
"Please! No more! NO MORE!" She'd weakly hold up her hand to Lucy
Lucy would look at the blood dripping off of her Lightsaber hilt and look down at the beat up face of Nikki.
"Why do you get up?" Lucy would ask coldly
"Because you ordered me too!"
"And why will you follow every order I give?"
"Because I'm…I'm…-she'd hesitate but would flinch when she'd see Lucy lifting her lightsaber hilt-…I'm a loyal enforcer…"
Lucy would take a deep breath and glance at the other 4. "All of you on your knees and bow your heads…"
All 4 would comply, Nya would shake nervously. "What are we doing now?" She'd ask
"Simple…now? I want to work with you each individually…forge you into what I truly want you to be…don't resist what happens next…"
On cue several Oreo guards would barge in putting a large brown sack over their heads, take them by the arms and drag them out.
Nikki would watch nervously as the room would grow quiet as her and Lucy would be left alone. "What's your plan for me?" She'd ask as Lucy would lift her lightsaber hilt back in the air.
"Oh I'm going to beat you unconscious and we'll go from there…"
Before Nikki could react she'd already feel the bone shattering hits landing.
She'd wake up in a cold dark room, she'd be on a table slanted at 45 degrees, her wrists and ankles would be chained to the table.
"Where am I?"
"The forge…we're I'm going to break you than rebuild you…"
Nikki would tremble as Lucy's voice would echo around the room. "Break how?" She'd nervously ask
"Physically…mentally…push you to the point you shatter into pieces…pieces I will than melt down and mold into something stronger." Lucy would respond with a cold tone
Lucy please…this isn't necessary! I'm willing to be an enforcer! We're friends!"
Lucy would suddenly appear beside her and grab her by the chin. "We both know what you think of all this…how you think about me…you'd betray me the first chance you got…"
"I swear on my code I won't!"
"Swizzle said the same thing and betrayed my mother without a second thought…I've learned from her mistakes."
"Please! PLEASE LUCY! WE WERE FRIENDS!"
Lucy would hug her. "We are friends…which is why this is going to hurt me as well…but your family has proven to be conniving and I cannot take that risk with someone charged with my safety…"
Lucy would take a step back. "Deep breath…this is going to hurt…"
On cue several machines would attach themselves to Nikki's arms and legs, a giant spike would burrow into her ribs on either side, she'd feel several needles pierce into the back of her neck, a pair of goggles would suddenly be pushed onto her eyes and burn them.
She'd let out a blood curtailing shriek as Lucy would look at a tablet and observe each and every one of her torture devices hard at work.
"Pain…pain is a wonderful tool…I'll keep inflicting it until you snap…" she'd state in an eerily happy tone
Down the hallway Nya would sit alone in a cell listening to Nikki's screams. "If she can make Nikki crack the hell am I supposed to do?!" She'd ask to no one in particular
She'd hear Lucy glitch into the room and look around frantically. "Lucy I swear this is unnecessary! I was a loyal friend! I don't see how hurting me is meant to make me a more loyal enforcer!"
Lucy would step out of the shadows next to her and she scramble away from her.
"I won't deny your loyalty to me…I appreciated it and still very much do…it's your endurance and bravery that I need to correct." Lucy would respond coldly
"What do you mean?!"
"If you were charged with protecting me you'd have to face down any threat that's come your way…yet…me just standing here has you shaking in fear and on the verge of a breakdown…if all this had just been a test…you would have failed it…miserably…"
"With everything you've done how was I suppose to react?!"
"Wore a mask like Ella did…she was terrified beyond belief but kept a calm expression throughout…as an enforcer I need you to be fearless…not cowardly…to be brutal when necessary…not soft…I'm going to correct you…by making you face your fears…"
"W-what?"
A hole would suddenly form in front of her with a coffin at the bottom, Nya's eyes would widen in horror as she'd look down at it than look up at Lucy who'd stare at her coldly.
"Get in."
Nya wouldn't move an inch as tears would start running down her face
"I said get in…"
"Please…please anything but that…"
"Are you truly my loyal friend?"
"Yes…"
"Than climb down in there…we're breaking your fear here…than afterwards I will begin your training…"
Nya would start to sob as she'd climb down, she'd look up at Lucy who'd glare at her.
She'd take a deep breath and lie down. Lucy would jump down beside her and give her a hug. "You're the best Nya…I'll see you soon…"
Lucy would let go and close the coffin and she immediately hear Nya break down and begin crying hysterically, she'd quickly glitch out of the hole and pull on a lever and loads of dirt would be dumped on top of the coffin, afterwards a robotic arm would burrow a small hole and feed a breathing tube down to the coffin, Lucy would watch on a monitor as Nya would continue wailing hysterically.
"I doubt I'll need to do much more than this to make her shatter…with any luck this will be the only pain I'll need to put her through…I hate hurting her."
(Later on)
Lucy would walk into a room where Chistie and Linke would be waiting. "Sorry about putting you 2 through that…I simply wished to test both of you…"
"Do not worry Lucy we understand." Linke would assure her.
"You know I could never be mad at you." Christie would add as she'd hug Lucy
Lucy would smile. "My mother has given the all clear to return upstairs, I intend to leave the others in torment tonight to ensure they are ready to be forged into my enforcers…"
"What about Ella? I heard Nikki's screams…Nya's pleads…but what about Ella?"
"Ella's loyalty will be tested but I must ask my mother to do something to help me with that…come along…"
Lucy would lead them up the stairs into her the throne room, she'd see her mother gazing at her orb containing the hell realm.
Lucy would gesture for Christie and Linke to leave the room than she'd stand in front of the steps leading up to her mother and kneel.
"Lucy…my prized daughter…you served me well…" Vanellope would state happily
"It is my duty as Princess to serve and obey…I'm merely performing my duty."
"It's still something to be praised for…since thanks to you…I've won…there's no back door left open…no loophole to exploit…everything I've wanted is at my fingertips…and for that from the deepest parts of my heart…I thank you Lucy…"
Lucy would smile and bow her head.
"Rise my favourite child…"
Lucy would stand beaming with pride. "Favourite?"
Vanellope would smile. "After everything you've done? How could you not be?"
Lucy would walk up the steps and hug her mother tightly.
Vanellope would pat her back. "But back to the business at hand…how are those below doing?"
"With any luck by tomorrow morning I'll be able to start forging them into my perfect enforcers…just like Linke and Christie…but I need to ask you something…"
"What is it?"
"I plan on testing Ella's loyalty and devotion…and need your help."
"I'm listening…"
(Hours later)
Ella would sit silently in her cell, she'd hear the door open and see Christie and Linke enter.
"Figured you both were already forged, trained and acting as her enforcers." Ella would state calmly
Linke and Christie would stand on either side of her. "Put your arms up." Christie would calmly order
Ella would raise both arms, both girls would take one each and lift her to her feet.
"What has the princess planned for me?" Ella would ask
"You will see soon…Lucy mentioned this would determine if you'd be captain or not…" Linke would respond
"Than it's best I don't disappoint." Ella would state
"Indeed…" they'd respond in unison
They'd walk her into room where Lucy would be standing beside a wall, Ella would be brought to a small table placed in front of Lucy.
Ella would look up at Lucy who'd smile at her. "As captain if I ordered someone be put to death you'd be the one to carry it out…now imagine I've ordered someone to be executed…what weapon on the table would you take?"
Ella would look down at the table and see a Grenade, a revolver made of Candy Canes, and a large dagger.
"Spoiled for choice…." Ella would state
"Yes…now which would you prefer?" Lucy would ask
Ella would put her hand over each one gauging Lucy's response to each. "Honestly? My princess and best friend would want to set a brutal example…so what better choice than the dagger?" Ella would reply as she'd pick up the dagger and hold it up
"Good choice…" Lucy would chuckle as she'd take a step back. "Time for your test."
"Test? I thought you'd put me through what the others are going through…like you said you'd push me harder than the rest?"
"Indeed I did…but that doesn't me I'll do to you what I do to them and then some…no…it means I'll push you in ways I wouldn't push them…atleast not yet…"
Ella would manage to keep herself calm. "So what is my test?"
Lucy would smile. "You've chosen your weapon for the execution…now…" Lucy would pull on a lever and the wall would collapse and Ella would see Sticky tied up on her knees, looking at her terrified. "Execute the condemned…" Lucy would state
Ella's mask would break immediately as she'd look at Lucy in horror than back at her mother.
Lucy would smile. "Ella…you want to remain unaltered and captain? Then follow my orders…you have an execution to carry out…"
Tears would form in Ella's eyes as she'd look at Sticky who'd look at her daughter terrified.
"Ella…" Sticky would state trying to remain calm
"Mom…" Ella would state her voice shaking
