DISCLAIMER I DO NOT OWN AIKATSU

Momo's POV

"Shift it to the left by 3cm and raise it up by 17 degrees." I instructed as Mr. Bepp was on a ladder, fixing a banner.

"Peach-honey, isn't that a little too specific?"

"Doesn't that make it easier to understand?" He sighed trying his best to listen to my words. He raised it a bit higher than I would have liked, the banner was still presentable.

"Is this good?"

"Yes, thank you." Mr. Bepp carefully came down the ladder to admire his work.

"Happy Halloween, yeah! Are you excited for tonight?"

"I suppose so." I looked around the large room as everyone else was preparing the rest of the decorations. They were almost done for the most part which was a relief. I skimmed through my clipboard for what I should be looking out for next.

"As one of the planners for tonight's events I thought you would have more enthusiasm."

"I was put on planning for my skills. Not so much my joy towards the holiday. Now I don't mean to be rude but I do have a few other things to go over before we can start the festivities." He understood, allowing me to leave.

It was the day of All Hallows' Eve today. A day where children and adults put aside their daily attire to dress up in costumes and enjoy sugary treats. Monsters, ghouls and everything in between were the norm for 24 hours. Everywhere I looked there would be a pumpkin or bat or anything of the sort that raised everyone's excitement.

Starlight, as per most holidays, planned to celebrate it by opening the doors to the public and holding a bunch of mini events for them to join in on. With me as the main planner, of course. I was more so helping the student council as they were low on hands. There wasn't as much planning to do as the Starlight anniversary but I still had to make sure everything ran smoothly on my part. Luckily a lot of what was happening was the basic spooky house, picture booth and the occasional person in a costume going to scare our visitors.

I went to the costume booth after checking up on the treats. Here we offered a few small items for people to try on and take pictures with. Some with idols here or even solely with their friends.

"Beep beep! Boxes on the move!" I turned around to see Fumiko in her witch costume. She carried a few boxes stacked in hand, slightly staggering. I quickly put my clipboard down to help take some load off.

"Thank you- where's your costume?"

"Back in our room. I still have a lot to do. Dressing up is the least of my concerns right now. Where are we bringing these?"

"Over here." She started walking ahead. "You know dressing up is part of the holiday? It'll only take a second to put it on. I'm sure it'll make all this planning more fun anyways."

"I doubt changing my outfit will make that big of a difference."

"Fine, but when you're done with all this work we're definitely going to roam school grounds together. I want to see how you'll do in the haunted maze. Oh let's bring Shouta too. He'll probably be way more entertaining." She was already laughing at the thought.

"Sounds fun for you at least but I'll be working all night. Plus, I worked on the maze myself. I already know about their tricks and got a walkthrough earlier."

"Ehhhh! Well that just ruins it! How are you supposed to enjoy the night if you have already seen everything?" I copied her as she put down her boxes by the wall.

"It's fine. I don't really see the appeal of today so I don't mind." I went back to where I left my clipboard.

"Hold on. How can you not like Halloween? Do you not see all the candy around? I thought you out of all people would be happy with that alone. Or perhaps are you too scared of all these spooky things?"

"I do like the candy aspect. Fearful things, not so much. Stories of the monsters that go bump in the night are only stories. They don't frighten me that much. Of course, even a surprise scare will cause me temporary shock but not long enough to make me like the holiday. Apparitions and the sorts are only folklore to warn younglings to avoid going out into dangerous areas at late hours. In return, movies and activities that cater to such are not my style. I have to go check on other things so I'll be ending our conversation now. We can continue it later if you'd like."

I found my clipboard right where I left it. I read the next item to be checking on the pumpkin craving station. "Wait so you're saying that you don't find Halloween scary?"

"Precisely. Now if you don't have work related questions, I must be going." I turned around to leave when Fumiko slid in front of me.

"Question related to work." I waited for her to continue. "Me and Hayate are together for greeting people, right?"

"Snapshot and I but yes. Only for a short time while a few upperclassmen finish their schedules. Then you two will be free to partake in events yourself."

"Great! So can you stand with us for that little bit. When we're done we can all go do everything together. I'll be sure to show you the joy in the spooky season." Spooky season? Was that how people referred to the holiday in another term? Though I have to say that with all of the excitement over the chance to get scared was piquing my curiosity. Much like amusement parks, people found it exciting to be put into situations that would make them scream.

The cause for their excitement was due to the release of adrenaline. A natural reaction that animals have in order to protect themselves from predators and to lessen pain from wounds. Yet, we have outgrown the need for the flight or fright mode that others, like Fumiko, celebrate All Hallows' Eve to stimulate that once more. A strange thing that people do honestly.

"I'll be mostly supervising the other events but I can try sparing a bit of time to accompany you. Though if anything comes up I'll have to take my leave without any complaints from you."

"Something like a troubled spirit knocking things over and causing trouble?" She wiggled her fingers like worms.

"No, I mean if another student needs help. What are you doing with your fingers?" She sighed, stopping her wiggling.

"Don't worry about it. What you should worry about is how much fun you'll have tonight. So finish early, get dressed in costume and come play with us tonight." Somehow the way she said it made me raise suspicions.

"Alright? I'll be in your care tonight then." I bowed to her for some reason and went about with the rest of my responsibilities.

I was on my way to the front gates when I felt a chill. I spun around to be greeted by a ghost and a red Teletubbies.

"Found you Momo-san!" The white sheet of a ghost said with Shouta's voice.

Now that I knew who both of them were I started laughing loudly at Charlotte's and his costumes. Shouta only had a white sheet over him with two eye holes cut out. Charlotte had put in a bit more effort in by wearing a large, red teletubbies costume that only had her face visible.

"Is it that bad? I thought this would be a normal look." Shouta said with the sheet moving with his breathing.

"At least you got to pick your costume. Char put me in this when she took over and didn't leave me enough time to pick another one. I even wanted to borrow from Starlight's storage space but Headmistress Kiriya said that Higawari-kun took the last one." Shouta bowed to her in apology. "No no it's not that big of a deal. Don't start your nervous sorrys."

"Hey, look on the brighter side Charlotte-senpai. With this look even Shouta-kun isn't afraid of you." Now that I thought about it it's been a while since I felt scared of Charlotte's eyes. The fright of the holiday must be getting to me if I shutter earlier.

"Now that you mention it, he hasn't really been stumbling over his words either."

"I guess it's easier when I'm covered head to toe. The soft appearance is a big distraction for me that I don't really feel threatened by Charlotte-san. Your costume is very nice though."

I looked at my lab coat and goggles around my neck. "Thank you. I got these from a chemistry set a while ago. These are completely practical and I'll still be using them after the day is over.

I proudly dressed as a scientist. I would have gone for the 'mad' portrayed look but I didn't find that it was a fair representation of scientists out there. I even have plastic test tubes and droppers in my pockets as more effort.

"But isn't the point to be something you're not today? Isn't a scientist too basic for you?"

"Oh? I didn't realize. Even looking into it people state they like dressing up for something new to wear. Must it be something out of the ordinary?" They both didn't answer. Though All Hallows' Eve has made its influence to us, it was still a new concept to celebrate. None of us have gone 'trick or treating' or anything like that before. Not to mention that hardly any of our televised programs showed much of it. Besides costumes there wasn't a lot we knew off the top of our heads.

"Momo! Shouta! Charlotte! Over here!" Fumiko waved her plastic wand in the air making it easy to spot her. With her witch hat and accessories on her costume looked more complete than earlier today. Not to mention that her natural orange hair stood out even more and matched the theme as a bonus.

We walked over to her and Snapshot. Now that we were close enough to them I could clearly see Snapshot's costume. Unlike the rest of us he put in actual effort. He was a perfect show of what the books claim a vampire should look like. He had a long cape that went down to his ankles with a nice tuxedo underneath. What made everything work was the effort put into his makeup and accessories. He was white pale, fake fangs included and had his natural charisma to make it all impressive.

"Very nice look Snapshot." He took the edge of his cape to bow in a formal fashion.

"Thank you Momo-chan. But I can't take all the credit. That would have to go to my styling and make up team for helping me today."

"How long did this take Ceasire-kun?"

"About 2 hours. I enjoy it though. I'm used to dressing up in fancy clothes that different concepts like this are refreshing. That's why Halloween is unique to me." So Snapshot enjoys All Hallows' Eve for the concept.

I looked around at all the people dressed in a wide variety of concepts. Some were mythological creatures, some were real jobs, even everyday items were blown up in size for people to impersonate. Being something that they were not for a day. Even scary Charlotte fits right in so much so that Shouta wasn't afraid of her.

"U-um?" I looked away from the crowd to see a pair of friends near us.

"Hello. How may I help you?"

"Y-you're Momo-chan, right?" I nodded causing them to squeal a little. "Um um we're really big fans! I-If it's alright can we get a photo together?"

"Of course." I smiled. They carefully stood beside me with their phone. I posed the same as them, letting them snap their picture. After taking it they held their phone close to them.

"T-thank you!"

"You're very welcome. I'm glad that I could make your All Hallows' Eve night a bit better." Everyone looked at me with their heads tilted.

"All Hallows' Eve? Don't you mean Halloween?"

"No I do mean All Hallows' Eve. Dating back to the 1500's this refers to the eve of All Hallows' which is November first. The term 'Halloween' slash 'Hallowe'en', excuse my accent, was normalized from this Scottish term. And in Scottish the word eve was contracted to be-"

"Momo-san?" Shouta shook his head while Charlotte made an x with her arms.

The pair giggled at us. "You're amazing Momo-chan! You really are smart in real life."

I found how they reacted to be cute. Meeting fans in a casual format made it easier to really connect with them. There were small opportunities to show off my studies but normally I would keep that part short since I would be on broadcast for example. Most were able to pick up that I was interested in academics though I do find that some are still surprised by it.

"I will take that as a compliment, thank you."

"Can we actually ask you a question?" I nodded. I expected it to be something along the lines of my views based on, probably, past research. "Do you believe in the supernatural?"

I thought about it for a little bit. "I believe that there will always be something that we cannot explain with only science. And I recognize that there is a reason why ideas similar have stuck around for so long. Personally, I want facts that I can't deny myself."

"So if you have the facts, then you can change your mind about the holiday?" Shouta asked.

"I'm always opened to new things so if you can prove the existence of the supernatural and its correlation to All Hallows' Eve then I suppose. Other than that this holiday is not one that I find high up on my list of favourites. I do have to clarify though that there are things that I fear but I don't actively want to go out, seeking those cases. Besides all we have to fear is fear itself, Roosevelt, 1933."

"Wrong. The only thing we have to fear is gigantic, man eating spiders, Quentin Trembley the third." I paused at Fumiko shaking her head at me.

"Okay? Not sure who that is but valid point. I guess?" It was a strange saying but there was a part of it that was reasonable. Quentin Trembley though? Never heard that name before.

Fumiko placed her hands on my shoulders. "Trust me. I'm going to make sure you see the fun today."

"Suzukawa-san!" She released me when someone else called for me. One of the upperclassmen waved at me from a distance to come over. I raised my hand to acknowledge them then bowed to the group.

"Please enjoy the rest of the events planned out tonight. I hope to meet you all again in the future." They nodded, still having a bit of star struck look to them. I turned to leave when Fumiko spoke up again.

"Wait Momo we were supposed to go around the school grounds later."

"I told you that was the case if I finished my work. Right now it seems that something else is calling for my attention. I'm sorry about this Fumiko but if I do find time then I will go find you all like intended. The night is still young."

She pouted. "Fine. Just try to finish early so that we can still go 'round."

I was glad that Fumiko understood. Though I didn't particularly understand All Hallows' Eve there was a part of me that wanted to try the events planned. Everyone else seemed to be having fun already that I wanted to see more.

Duty calls though. I left the group and my friends to go to the upperclassmen that called me. "Sorry to bother you."

"It's alright. What seems to be the problem?"

"It looks like there's an issue with the haunted house lightning. There's enough for the guests to get through safely, that's no problem. The ones dressing up, on the other hand, can't see that well with their masks on."

I've never worn a mask before that I didn't realize that it would inhibit their vision so much. Especially with an already dark scenario as a haunted house. "Can you please ask them to prepare a mask for me? I would like to try one on to get a better feel."

I, currently, have a fake bear head on me. Most masks were already in use that this head was the only option left. It was okay for the most part but as someone that knows how an actual bear should look, this cartoon look is not as scary as it could be. Though I suppose an exact replica would have been harder to recreate.

It got the task done though. The eye slots were so small and were not fixed to one spot that it was difficult to see through. We couldn't risk anyone tripping or knocking into things. There wasn't a lot that was supposed to be on the floor but that wasn't ensured with how many people were walking in and out. And knowing how the set-up of the haunted house there were a lot of areas that had the bare minimum of lightning provided.

"How is it Suzukawa-san?" I took the head off. I was in the student council office as they were technically the ones running everything while I was only helping out as per their request.

"I can see what they mean. We can't change the mask design on shortage notice so we'll have to work around so that they feel comfortable. Can you ask those in the house the exact restrictions that they would like to resolve?"

They took a second to process my wording. "Um they said that it's out of worry of accidentally getting hurt. There were also a few incidents where those working couldn't tell the difference between another student and a guest. Especially with most people wearing dark costumes."

I closed my eyes. It seemed that the only answer was to raise the amount of light. That could ruin the mood of the house that I want to avoid doing that. I couldn't put the risk of my fellow students and guests either. Most staff currently had a flashlight but those don't light an area but a spot that it wouldn't be the most effective method.

I opened my eyes to scan the room. My eyes landed on someone wearing a black cloak and carrying a scythe. "Are you dressed as an Angel of Death?"

They double checked that I was talking to them while pointing to themselves. "I-I'm a grim reaper. Why?"

"Because one depiction of an Angel of Death is to carry around a lantern." I turned to the others in the room. "In the dorms there are a bunch of lanterns that are used in cases of power outages. We can borrow those and give them to guests to travel into the house. That way students can avoid hurting them. They shine a light bright enough that we can see around them as well. If they see a lantern, don't use their flashlights and vice versa."

"But there are some without a flashlight. Though we can see enough to walk around I think some would feel better that we identify them and see them."

I imagined someone without a flashlight going around and scaring others by not being seen in the first place. We needed to give them a noticeable identification. Something that can make them noticeable without ruining the theme. A smaller light perhaps?

"Does anyone know where the Christmas decorations are located?"

"Christmas decorations? Uh I guess we can find them?"

"Brilliant. Please collect the clear baubles, oh, and some yarn or rope."

"Baubles?"

"Yes, preferably plastic and sphere shaped. If I remember correctly we have an abundance of glow sticks that were available for guests. We can put the ink inside those and put them into the baubles with some water to create artificial light. Mixing in the right ratio is faint enough to be seen as a mysterious light yet still distinguishable to others in the dark. Hand those to staff and tell them to clearly display it while walking around without a light source."

They all perked up. They immediately started splitting up roles to gather the materials. "What else can I help out with?"

"You were already plenty of help Suzukawa-san. We can handle the rest. We wouldn't want to keep you for the rest of the night."

"Are you sure? I don't mind."

"I insist. Trust in your senpais. We'll get it under control. You already spent all day helping us and now. Halloween only comes around once a year, go enjoy the night." Without any mal intentions they were pushing me to go back out there.

I did have to find Fumiko and the rest of them that this was for the best. I did mean to keep my word to them but with this crowd of people, it was going to take forever to find them. Not to mention that they weren't in their usual attire that everyone blended in to one another.

I took out my Aikatsu phone, sending a message to each of them. I doubted that any of them would be checking their phones if they were playing around. To my surprise, Hayate was the first to respond. He said that they were near the candy stands. At least I could support that.

It took a bit of work but I managed to find them. They all held onto candy skewers that they individually made by themselves. "Are you guys having fun?"

"You finished early?" Charlotte asked while chewing on some gummies. She had still had her large mittens for hands on that served like a plate for her candies.

"Yeah. It wasn't a big issue. Just a little tweaking to the haunted house. Nothing that we couldn't solve."

"The haunted house? I wanted to take you there later. " Fumiko said with quite a bit of candy placed on her skewers. I picked up a stick myself and scanned over the candy selection.

"Give them a bit of time to implement the changes and then we'll go."

"Okay! I call dibs on going with you." I nodded as I ate one of the candies. I should have put it on the stick but I couldn't help in. If anything sweet gets put down in front of me there was a good chance that I would like to eat it.

"Does that mean I'm going with Higawari-kun and Ceasire-kun?"

"Is that going to be a problem? If you'd like it can be girls separate boys. It'll be better for Charlotte-chan anyways since Dobu-kun will just cling to the two of us. Don't you agree?" We looked to Shouta who continued making his candy skewers. Hearing that we went silent he raised his head to us.

"Sorry what?"

"You're that focused on the candy?"

"It's hard to put the stick through." He let out a nervous laugh.

"Oh I get it! Dobu-kun is too scared to go to the haunted house. He's blocking out our conversation on purpose." Snapshot threw his arm around him to comfort him. That was a natural reaction on Shouta's part. We often filter things out if it brings us stress.

"Don't worry Shouta-kun. The Haunted House is only filled with students and staff alike in disguise. There's nothing in there that will actually bring you harm."

He gave another nervous laugh. "I'm not too sure about that. Halloween is the time that people say that things come out. You said it yourself. There's a reason why these types of stories stuck around with people for so long."

"Please Shouta-kun. I've been around campus all day. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. The worst you have to fear today is that we still have to help clean up afterwards. If you're not comfortable you don't have to go through. We would understand."

"No no I'll be fine. I want to try it at least once. Please. I'll be fine." I gave the others a concerned look. We didn't want to force him to do anything. The house was meant for the general audience that it shouldn't be too much for him to handle. If he thinks he can go through it, it should be fine.

After going through a few tinier events we ended up at the haunted house. Or more like the haunted school building. Us planners knew that this was going to be a main attraction tonight so we got the biggest building which just so happens not to be a house.

Nonetheless the building was fully decorated, outside including. There was a short line of people but that was moving relatively fast. Soon it was going to be our turn to go next. Like we discussed earlier it was going to us girls together and boys going after us.

Snapshot seemed okay for the most part. He would jump a little every now and then but that was normal. He Shouta, on the other hand, didn't say much. And with his sheet over him it was hard to tell what he was thinking. He still insisted on going in though that we couldn't argue him to stay out.

"Okay next." Charlotte slightly leaned in closer to me in the center as it was our turn.

"Are you scared Charlotte?"

"D-don't kid with me. I can handle anything this house holds!" Just then a thunder sound effect made her squeak out a little yelp. I chuckled at her offering a hand for her as I took the lantern from the worker and handed it to Fumiko.

"Charlotte-senpai you can hold onto me. Fumiko will lead the way since she's so eager. This way the ones inside will most likely jump at her then us." Charlotte huffed that she had to take my hand but still took it.

"Alright let's go!" Fumiko, with little fear, started marching through the doors.

Once we were in deep enough the doors behind us slammed shut. Charlotte fully wrapped herself around my arm. I soothingly patted her on the head. Even Fumiko's stature was slightly curled up from what I could see.

She took a deep breath starting to walk again. The path was only one way forcing us to go in a certain direction. There were a few rooms that we had to go into. These were meant to be where most of the students would be acting in their scary roles. There were certain themes going on with each room. This gave them chances to pretend that we were intruders to their dinner or experiment or anything that they wanted.

Fumiko was both scared of everything and enjoying it all. When someone got too loud or was too into the role she would fully scream out. Then she would start laughing. It was like a role for her to be scared even for that second.

Charlotte, on the other hand, barely opened her eyes and didn't let me go for a second. Anytime an actor tried to get her to react she would only cling closer to me. She still insisted that she was fine for the most part. Saying stuff like she was the oldest between us and that he knew that this was all fake. She didn't take up my offer to walk without me nearby.

Between the two girls I was merely walking along. In the halls there would be 'moving' sounds behind us as if something was following us. I knew that it was speakers hooked to motion sensors. If something moved in our side view, it was a student using strings. The painting that had moving eyes? A real student that made noise to attract their attention in the first place.

Knowing all the gimmicks to this house did lower my fear levels by a lot. Often dark settings and unknown surroundings played tricks on the brain that made things scarier than it really is. I could see everything with a clear mind that even those trying to complete a jump scare didn't affect me. If anything the loss of blood flow to my arm from Charlotte's tight hold was the only concern I had.

Since we were nearing the exit I carefully tapped Charlotte on the back. "We're almost out."

She let out a sigh of relief, loosening her grip ever so slightly. That is when we heard a loud thump behind us. We turned around to be greeted with a white dressed, long hair creature leaned up against the wall. Charlotte jumped back to be closer to Fumiko.

"Momo...Fumiko... Charlotte..." It spoke with a raspy, quiet voice. I heard the girls take in a sharp breath. It sluggishly dragged themselves closer to us. "Can't leave..."

"We can't what?" I asked, playing the role.

"YOU CAN'T LEAVE!" They ran full speed at us causing Fumiko and Charlotte to scream and run out towards the exit.

The person only stopped running when they came face to face with me. They breathed heavily to keep up the illusion that they were this vile creature with no face. I took a step back and gave a small bow.

"Good work today sensei." They paused, pointing to themselves.

"Can you tell who I am?" They were fully dressed in a white, dirty outfit with a lot of rips and chains. Not even their face was seen clearly with the long hair wig. It must have been quite the image if anyone walked in on me talking to this creature.

"Of course. I just need to match the voice to the person which isn't too hard." I looked a bit closer at their costume seeing a small glowing ball. "Oh you have one of the glow stick made baubles. How are they? Did they help you all?"

They raised one of the dress' layers. "Was this your idea Suzukawa-san? They're so cute I kind of want to keep it afterwards as a nightlight."

"They won't last that long, unfortunately. I'm happy that I was able to solve the issue though. I would love to keep this conversation going but I think I should go check on those that ran out."

"Yeah I have to prepare to scare the next group too. Hopefully they'll give more of a reaction than you did." We bowed to each other as I exited.

I had to look around a bit to see them clinging onto a nearby tree. I laughed at them finding support in that. "Momo! I thought they trapped you in there!"

"I told you. Everything in there was planned."

"Doesn't change that they didn't look human!" I held back my laughter at Charlotte. She has been through enough already tonight. At least I knew that the house was a success overall.

I gave them time to relax as we waited for the boys to go through their time. When they were more calm they were able to talk a bit about how they felt about the whole experience. I still didn't quite get why they found it somewhat fun to such. What I did get was that it was definitely a new experience. The only day of the year that people can go around with candy in their pockets to a house inhibited with different creatures. Couldn't really think of another day that weird things like this were normalized.

Soon enough the boys finished their turn and found us. "How was it?"

"It was pretty cool. I'm not too big on horror but I won't lie when I say that they got me a few times." Snapshot said.

"There was this person at the end too! They were probably the scariest." Shouta shook at the thought. "It was fun, I think!"

Shouta got through it a lot better than I thought he would. He didn't even sound like the house affected him much. Quite the opposite actually. He was similar to Fumiko in that way where this was more so for fun. On any other day this would be concerning.

I looked down to see our lantern on the ground. I picked it up. "We should probably bring these back."

"Here let me. You already worked a lot today so I can take it." Shouta, already having their lantern, offered his other hand. I handed it over to him.

"Thanks. We'll wait here for you to get back."

He nodded and walked a bit away before turning around again. "Um Momo-san?"

"Yes?"

"Y-you worked really hard to make today a lot of fun. For everyone. I did a lot of events today that I never got a chance to before. T-thank you!" I was taken back by his sudden gratitude.

"I'm glad you liked it so much. I didn't realize you would enjoy All Hallows' Eve so much." He bowed once then ran off to give our lanterns back.

"Shouta must really have had a lot of fun. Thought he would have been scared all night."

"Dobu-kun wasn't even that scared when we were going through the haunted house. He was constantly amazed by the decorations and sound effects and those acting. Never seen him so brave."

"Maybe Higawari-kun is just the type to like supernatural but anything about himself is where he gets nervous?"

"I wonder why he was so happy to thank me though? I mean I did help out with the planning but he was genuinely thanking me."

We were all metaphorically scratching our heads at his strange behaviour. "Momo-san!"

We all turned away from the house to see Shouta and Auntie Aoi together. I paused when I saw that he was wearing a giant, green inflatable alien costume. He clearly struggled to keep his balance as the costume's blown up part was a strange addition to the rest of him.

Beside him was Auntie Aoi in a snow white dress, making sure that he didn't fall over. "I finally found you guys. I've been looking everywhere."

"Shouta-kun why did you change costumes? And how did you do it in such a short period of time?"

"Eh? Change? From what?" All of us looked at each other.

"From your ghost costume? The one you were wearing all night?" Snapshot said.

"What do you mean? I had been with Headmistress Kiriya all this time because the zipper to this got stuck. That's why I didn't show up at the front gates. I spent this whole time trying to find you all."

"It's true. Even ask Charlotte-chan. She came to get a costume when I told her that Higawari got this last one."

"I- I m-mean yes but that's where we met up and then we went to..." Charlotte was at a loss for words.

"Okay ha ha very funny Fumiko. Pulling this prank on me in order to make me scared? Nice attempt." None of them said a word.

"Momo, I promise you on my Aikatsu career I have no clue what is happening." They all nodded. I started going over how Shouta was acting today.

For one thing, nothing scared him today. Not the haunted house, or even Charlotte. He even referred to her by her first name and changed honourifics from Takahashi-senpai to Charlotte-san. He didn't even respond to Dobu, he didn't stutter over his words and he even shook his head instead of making an x with his arms. Everything about him acted differently. And knowing enough about him I really doubt that he could pull this kind of prank off.

Was this why 'he' thanked me for tonight?

A cold wind suddenly brushed by me making me shiver. I took a deep breath, nodding. "Okay. I have concluded with the abundance of evidence, from a logical standpoint that we never speak about this again. Agree?"

"Agreed."

Aipom4: Yay! I am still experimenting with writing romance and with Ichigo and Naoto I know a lot of people did come here to see glimpses of them. So I'm happy that I was able to write a bit about it that wasn't too bad.

Yue: Thank you! This is the first time I wrote something cutesy/ fluffy like so I appreciate this.

Trivia: So if you're reading this in the future I posted this chapter on Halloween and its just for fun. Honestly I have to say I have no idea the season/ month this story is taking place. This is because one Japanese's school starts in April rather than September that I'm used to and two with Aikatsu Halloween and Christmas episodes are pretty early in the season and it confuses me. In order to make things simple I reference past events in order to show somewhat of a timeline (ex. countdown days for the Starlight Anniversary). But don't be confused as time is passing so its not like Ash Ketchum not aging for 10 years lol.
