Sora awoke the next morning to a strange –but pleasant- sensation. First, there was a comfortable weight pressing down on his chest. Second, something light and soft was against his lips.

It moved to his cheeks, his forehead, the tip of his nose, both of his eyelids, and then back to his lips again, where they lingered.

Finally emerging from the twilight in between sleep and consciousness, Sora realized that the nice weight on his chest was Kairi. And the wonderful feeling moving across his face was her lips.

The next time she arrived at his lips, he began to kiss her back. It lasted for several minutes until they ran out of air. Sora finally opened his eyes.

Kairi was holding herself up above him and grinning coyly at him. Her ocean blue eyes had a twinkle in them and Sora can feel the love from her.

"You know, I could get used to waking up like that." Sora muttered with a grin. Kairi said softly with love in her voice. "I can make it happen everyday"

Sora smiled at her before he grabbed the back of her head and brought her lips to his. The kiss lasted for a second until Kairi got off him. They were both still naked from their activities from last night. "Want to join me in the shower?" asked Kairi.

Sora looked at the redhead beauty with his Sky blue eyes, Here was this goddess offering to share a shower with him. "See you on the other side" she said with a wink before getting out of bed and to their bathroom, swaying her hips the whole while. Sora couldn't help but follow her.

The redhead made her way into the shower and the steam made things even steamier. Sora kept walking towards Kairi and entered the Shower right behind her.

"Wash my back, Baby," Kairi said as she peered over her shoulder with a seductive glint dancing in her eyes.

Sora would be insulted if she did not ask. He placed his hands on her back and washed her down carefully making sure to give every inch of her back with an intimate caress. His hands glide down to her butt grabbing both cheeks, Sora's palms rubbed her behind as he experimented with the tone but surprisingly springy cheeks.

Kairi breathed out in pleasure, the feeling of Soras strong hands all over her body was amazing. They were made for more than holding the Keyblade. The princess felt the pleasure rush through her body as Sora cupped her tight backside and ran the shower gel that appeared down it.

"Feels good?" Sora breathed out that question directly into her ear, sending a shiver running out throughout her whole body. Kairi turned around to face him fully.

"Let me get you," Kairi breathed as she rubbed the soap down his chest and smiled as she ran her hands all over his body. "Let me get all of you, love."

Kairi breathed in, as she ran her hands up and down his body. She saw his length twitching at her touch, which brought a smile to her face as she went lower to find his large manhood ready for her.

Things were going to heat up pretty quickly.

Kairi embraced Sora in the shower, causing the steam to envelope around them. She rubbed her breasts up and down his chest, causing the pleasure to escalate through his body.

"Feels so good Kai," Sora breathed as Kairi moved her fingers down towards his crotch.

"How about this, baby?" She asked as she grabbed Sora's manhood and ran up and down his member. The princess of heart manipulated his huge dick with her soft hands.

Sora closed his eyes and kissed her on the mouth, as she stroked his cock harder yet. Her hand wrapped around him extremely tightly and snugly as her nipples got even more stiffer against his chest.

"Mmm, good, tastes great," Sora breathed as he placed his mouth around Kairi's nipple and started to suck upon it. She closed her eyes and felt Sora sucking on her nipple like a baby drinking it's mothers milks

The energy coursed through her body as Sora continued to lick and suckle on her breasts. The redhead rocked her body back into the wall as Sora brushed his hard rod against her dripping entrance. The princess of heart feeling the pleasure as he worked the head of him.

"Oh Light Sora , don't tease your Princess like that," Kairi begged as Sora worked his hand underneath her breast and the girl panted with Sora plunging his hard member into her. Each shot brought her closer to some level of enjoyment.

Sora worked his cock into her hard and Kairi's tightening walls went around him. The young woman closed her walls around him as Sora pumped into her, working around her tight walls. Kairi closed her eyes and felt the pleasure that was around her walls as he plunged into her.

"Yes, Sora, yes, baby, deeper," Kairi panted as she lifted her hips towards him with Sora having a smile on his face as he plowed his princess as deeply as he could have.

Sora pushed himself back and speared into her once again. Kairi closed her eyes as she tightened around his huge cock with her pussy squeezing his phallus as he pumped into her, with Sora pushing her into the shower wall. her breasts pressed against the wall, Kairi closed her eyes and felt the pleasure rush even greater between her loins.

"You're mine, Kairi" Sora whispered lustfully as he slammed his cock into her. "You like that, don't you, don't you?"

Sora grabbed her breasts as he slammed into her tight pussy, working between her legs. She closed her eyes with Sora working into her from behind, slamming his massive length into her. The keyblade Master explored his girlfriend's tight pussy and also her lovely, squeezable breasts.

"Sora!" Kairi yelled as Sora plunged his cock deep between her walls and he worked deep into her. Her walls were so hot and warm but Sora was intrigued about another part of her body. He ran his hands down to her lovely heart shaped ass and Kairi panted as Sora played with her buttcheeks. He slapped them making her pussy squeeze his cock even more.

"Sora!," Kairi begged him with Sora squeezing those nice breasts, and working into her. His cock worked into her center with Sora working himself deeper into her tightening quim.

Sora felt the rush of pleasure as his rock hard member plunged even deeper into her body. The princess clutched onto the edge of the wall as Sora plunged into single nerve ending of her body was on fire with Sora working into her body. The boy she loves grabbed the edge of her hips and plunged his thick rod into her.

The woman's walls wrapped around him as Sora kept working into her, his thrusts buried into her. She felt like she was on fire.

"Who does your pussy belong to?" Sora breathed as he pressed his mouth on the back of her neck and plunged into her.

"You Sora, yours," Kairi panted as Sora grabbed her breasts from behind, working into her from behind. He brought his dick between her walls and signified the ownership of her body with her. The woman's eyes closed with Sora working into her. The young man breathed as her pussy hugged his rod as he filled and emptied her with a never ending loop of pleasure.

Kairi felt him slide in and out of her, with the breathing go into her. His hands worked down her body, feeling the area between her pussy.

Her lips were so wet and Sora brought his fingers into them, brushing them up against his lips. The keyblade Master licked her pussy juices and then offered them to Kairi. The Redhead took them into her mouth as Sora worked his dick into her.

"Baby, I'm so close" Sora moaned into her ear and nibbled on it. The familiar feeling he had was coming as his loins were about to explode. Sora thrusting all the way as his balls prepared to drain himself into her inviting pussy

"Come inside of me!.Mark me as your Woman!" Kairi moaned, pushing her hips back to him. Never to fail his princesses demands.

Sora's loins exploded and he came hard. He grabbed onto his girlfriend plowing her into the wall as he unloaded his prize into her wet pussy..

He saw the pleasure in her eyes and that really got him cumming hard. Several thick ropes of his seed splashed her inner walls and she coated him again in her sweet juices, Kairi cooed before the two continued their fun in the shower.

After finally getting out of the shower and dressed for the day. Sora sat at the table while Kairi made breakfast for them.. "we have a long day ahead of us Sora?" Kairi said. She then puts a plate of pancakes in front of him before sitting down herself to eat her own pancakes.

"What you mean not having sex all day is not one of them?" asked Sora. Kairi only gave him a sultry smile before she said. "Tempting my love. but we have to go find This Yugi and the Millenium puzzle."

Sora nodded accepting that answer after all they did promise Ra to help Yugi and protect him from the Heartless. The two were quick to eat their breakfast and get dressed into the Domino High School uniform. Sora wore the blue uniform while Kairi wore the pink uniform with the skirt.

"Better grab our bags." Said Sora before he grabbed their bags and Sora took hold of Kairis hand and they left the apartment building. Sora made sure to lock the door with his keys Ra left him, . The two of them walked outside and into the busy streets of Domino, kairi on her gummiphone was glad it's map function was working despite they couldn't get ahold of Riku and the others. "Looks like the school is only two blocks from here." Said Kairi.

"Did you just say Domino High School?" Said a girls voice. Sora anc Kairi see a girl about the age of seventeen approaching from behind them. The girl has long white Hair with blue highlights on the end. She too wore the Domino high school her hand is little girl about the age of seven but she has Blonde hair and she too wore school uniform. Kairi can feel nothing but pure light from the white haired teen.

"Yeah, we're new around here" said Sora holding Kairis hand.

"Oh I can take you guys there." Said The girl. Sora and Kairi followed the girls to the school. "My name is Kisara White and my little sister is Kimi"

"I'm sora Osment" said Sora with a smile.

"And I'm Kairi Pannitierre." Said Kairi before looking at Kimi. "I like your outfit Kimi"

Kimi was quick to hide her face into Kisaras side. "She's shy when meeting new faces," she chucked. The four arrived to the school which was a simply two story building. "Hey Kisara!"

A girl with long blue hair tied up in a ponytail cqme over to them with a grin. She too wore the Domino high school uniform, "what kept ya?, Tea and I were about to come get you" said the girl.

"Sorry Miho. We have new students joining us" said Kisara looking at the two islanders.

"I didn't know we were getting new students!" Said Miho before she bowed her head, "my name is Miho Nosaka."

"I'm Sora Osment and My girlfriend is Kairi."

"Aw…I was just gonna ask if you were single. Your such a cutie" said Miho, making Kairis face turn red. "But I would never try to take anyone's boyfriend. I'm Not Kiki Kaka"

"Kiki Kaka?" Sora tilting his head confused.

"There" said Miho pointing to a group of Girls wearing cheerleading uniforms and one girl had long black hair tied up in two ponytails. Her uniform was unbutton revealing alot of her cleavage and her skirt was cut so high that they could see the girls underwear. Sora and Kairi noticed a sudden change in Kisara and Miho for they had given the girl a dark glare.

"What's wrong...whos that?" asked Kairi noticing how she was exposing parts of her body like a street prostitute and Kisara had covered Kimi eyes..

"That is Kiki Kaka, shes in our year and she's known to have sex with just about anyone. she tried to get our friends Joey and Tristan to have sex with her once but she backed off once she saw Kisara and Me near them." Miho said.

"Shes one of the popular girls and captain of the cheerleading squad and a really big snob just because her father is the mayor of Domino City. " Kisara said.

Both Sora and Kairi could only let out a small snicker when they heard that name. "Kiki Kaka? What kind of name is that?" asked Kairi with a laugh.

"Yeah sounds like she got her name from a cereal box." Sora snicked before Kisara and Miho looked at each other. They too soon join in the laugh with the two keybearers. "Seriously...who would name their kid, Kiki Kaka? '' Miho laughed.

"That would be my father loser" said Kiki who had appeared out of nowhere. Her sudden appearance made the four jump away. Sora and Kairi's hands remained intertwined. "Didn't anyone tell you to mind your own business Kiki?" asked Miho.

"Maybe but then again. I don't listen to losers like you" Kiki said before she noticed Kairi holding Sora's hand. She thought the brunette was very handsome. She then smiles sultry before she pushes Kairi away from him and puts her fingers on his chest. With a flirty tone she asked . "Hey handsome ... .how about you come sit next to me during homeroom."

"No thanks, I'm good I'm already taken" said Sora with a panicked tone in his voice but luckily Kairi came to his rescue and pulled him back to her. "Sora's not interested so back off!"

"He can speak for himself, what are you his girlfriend?" asked Kiki.

"Yes I am…we've been dating for two years" said Kairi with a half lie to fool Kiki. "Come on, let's go" said Miho before pushing the keybearers away, Kiki looked at Sora and she knew she had to have him as her next boyfriend. Kairi held Sora's hand even tighter

"Kairi. I only have my eyes on You." Said Sora kissing her cheek.

"I know, that girl was about to meet my fist." Said Kairi

"Come on! You guys gotta meet the rest of our friends!" Said Miho before Sora and Kairi followed her while Kisara went to drop Kimi at her school and rejoining the, the four then head to a small locker area where three boys and a girl are seen, sora and Kairi saw the Puzzle and they knew that was the boy they had to guard from the Darkness.

Yugi wore the Domino High School uniform, consisting of blue pants and a blue blazer thrown over a white shirt. A beautiful, golden upside-down pyramid pendant was hanging around his neck by a smooth rope. It shone mysteriously beneath the light of the room. All the boys wore the same uniform he was wearing, and the girls wore a blue skirt with a pink blazer, and a blue bow on their collar.

Yugi had the prettiest of amethyst eyes always shining with care, kindness, and perception. Although he was short for his age, he still stood out from the rest of his classmates with his unique hairstyle. His hair was black with magenta highlights and his golden yellow bands framed his face. His smile was his best feature, always brimming with happiness.

Joey Wheeler was tall, just like the other two friends of the boys, and he had soft, blond hair. He was the jock of the group, the funny and intimidating guy. In fact, him and Tristan could be passed as twins. They were almost the same except for their looks. If there would ever be any trouble, they would both fight through it with their fists drawn, like guardians of their friends. Both of the taller boys had brown eyes, but Joey's looked a lot like honey under the sun, while Tristan's looked a lot like chocolate.

Tristan Taylor, another one of the boys' friends, popped up behind Joey who was thinking so deeply that he didn't notice him standing there. Until his head was caught in a friendly headlock.

And then there was Tea Gardner. She was the glue to their friendship and she always knew there was some way to get through everything life threw down at them. She was Yugi's first friend and she would stick by everyone no matter what. She wore the high school's uniform for girls, and it brought out her ocean blue eyes and brown hair very nicely.

"You guys seen Miho of Kisara?" Asked Tristan,

"They'll be here soon" said Tea.

"Hey girl, over here!" Said Miho. Right behind her was Sora, Kairi and Kisara behind them. Sora and Kairis hand remained intertwined. Miho hugs Tea and Tea hugs Kisara.

"Who are those two?"

"Are they new?"

"That girl is freakin hot." Said some of the guys seeing how beautiful kairi is, most of the girls saw Soras sky blue eyes and they were in love with how handsome he was.

"Are you guys new here?" Asked Tea.

"Yeah, we're from an island called Destiny Islands. It's very far away from here. I'm Sora Osment" said Sora,

"And I'm Kairi Panitierre. this Lazy bum is my boyfriend" said Kairi,

"Hey!" Said Sora before kairi playfully stuck her tongue out at him,

"Your both islanders?" Said Tristan,

"Yeah well I was born in another town but moved to Destiny islands when I was four," said Kairi.

"Anyway. My name is Yugi Motou, nice to meet you Sora, Kairi" said Yugi,

"What's up, I'm Joey Wheeler." Said Joey,

"Tea Gardner is my name." Said Tea.

"And I'm Tristan Taylor," said Tristan,

"Nice to meet you all" said Kairi with a smile before the sunlight gleamed off the puzzle, she looked at the puzzle before she asked. "Is that a puzzle around your neck?"

"What makes you call it a puzzle?" Yugi asked. After all, ever since he put it on the necklace, people just assumed it was a worky pendant his grandfather had gotten him from a trip to Egypt and he was too nice to say no it wasn't. This was one of the few times since he completed the puzzle that anyone had ever called it a puzzle without being in the immediate know-how.

"Well, the lines are kinda a clue," Sora joked lightly, making Yugi chuckle a bit.

Yugi held the solid Item carefully in his hands. The gold pieces that made it up sparkled spectacularly under the sun. "According to my grandpa," he said. "All the pieces that made the Puzzle were in a golden box, and it was sitting at the back of a shelf covered in dust. One day, I decided to try and solve it, though my grandpa thought it was difficult for me. It definitely did take me a while, but it's finally complete.

"There was a riddle written on the box, which grandpa had read to me because it was written in Egyptian hieroglyphs. He said that it read, 'It's something that you can see, but have never seen before.', and that drove me to keep trying to solve it, especially when I thought about giving up at times. Plus… I've always loved games. But, now I've finally done it. In fact, I only solved it a little while ago."

"That's very cool," Sora said."So, do you and your grandpa know a lot about Egypt?"

Yugi nodded. "Oh yeah," he said. "He's an archaeologist. Sometimes he'll go to Egypt for a dig, exhibit, or research. He comes back home with tales, stories, notes, and sometimes even souvenirs. My grandpa really likes what he does."

Sora and Kairi took a seat next to each other when a boy with short black hair came over to them and he began to hit on Kairi. "Hey babe, why don't you and me go to a closet and practice making babies"

"Excuse me!" Said Kairi offended.

"How rude of you Damian" said Miho ready to smack Damian for that remark.

"Hey buddy, what gives you the right to say that to my Girlfriend" said Sora.

"Girlfriend?, why don't we duel for her hand spikey. In fact. Loser has to offer their rarest card" Said the boy.

Sora growled that he would think that Kairi was nothing more than an object but Kairi kissed his cheek."whoop his ass"

Sora nodded before he pulled out his deck of duel monsters cards. Sora took his place at the Mat anc so did Damian.

"Alright . We both start with Two thousand life points each and the first one to run out of points loses." Said Damian.

"Fine with me." Said Sora before drawing five cards. The same with Damian.

(LP: Sora-2000/Damian-2000).

"I'll go first…I'll play Leogun in attack mode and then I set one card facedown."

The monster card he had placed showed a large lion with a yellow mane, black body and pale eyes. (1750/1550)

"Beat that spiky." Said Damian.

"The name is Sora" said Sora a bit annoyed. He looked at his hand before he made his move. "I call upon Dream Eater Aura Lion In attack mode."

The card he placed has Aura Lion standing on a rock much like Pride Rock.(2000/1500)

"Dream eaters?" Said Damian.

"Yugi? Have you ever heard of Dream Eaters?" Asked Joey,

"No. This is my first time hearing about them. They must be a special kind of monsters ." Said Yugi.

"Not only that I have a magic spell card I'm laying down too, Dream Eater Selection." Said Sora

The magic card he just played showed three circles with three random Spirit dream eaters forming a party., "this magic card allows me to draw three cards from my deck and if any of the cards I draw is a Dream Eater. I can play them." Said Sora drawing from his deck, he then smiled. "And I happen to draw one of my favorite Dream Eaters….Tyranto Rex in attack mode"

The card he played showed Tyranto Rex standing on a road in Country of the Musketeers. (2900/2400).

"That thing has 2900 attack points! Oh no!" Said Damian.

"My Tyranto Rex will attack your Leogun and my Aura Lion attacks your life points directly and that is game." Said Sora.

(LP: Sora-2000/Damian-0).

"He won the duel in one turn." Said An onlooker.

"He's good" said Yugi.

"Now I believe you owe my girlfriend an apology." Said Sora.

"Sorry about my comment" said Damian before he handed Sora a Summoned Skull card, "here. A man of my word."

"Thanks…I'll take good care of it," said Sora taking the card. Damian then walked away.

"Yo man, that was awesome" said Joey,

"You gotta be very skilled to beat Damian in one turn," said Tea.

"Actually that was my first duel. We don't really have Duel monsters on Destiny Islands" said Sora

"Your first Duel?!" Exclaimed everyone minus Kairi.

"Yeah, but when I play cards with my friends. I'm just that good" said Sora.

"He speaks the truth, he's insane during Poker nights." Said Kairi remembering the last game they played with the other guardians before the final battle with Xehanort.

"I've never heard of Dream Eaters before…are they new to Duel Monsters?" said Kisara.

"Yeah. I Happen to have them as my deck." Sora said. He showed Yugi and his friends some of the Spirit Dream Eaters as cards. The three girls muttered that some of the Dream Eaters looked very cute

"What about you Kairi? Do you have a deck too?" Asked Tea.

"I have a deck based off the Crystal Beasts," said Kairi.

"The Crystal Beasts!" Exclaimed Yugi and Kisara.

"Crystal Beasts? What are they?" Asked Miho.

"A few years ago, Pegasus made few rare cards with powerful effects, however they were never released to the public. according to the ancient documents that Industrial Illusion discovered, the leader of the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar, as proof of Rome's control over the world, he managed to gather seven gems from around the world and tried to create a tablet. However on the way to Rome, the ship that transported the gems ran into a storm and the gems disappeared into the sea according to my Grandpa." Said Yugi

Kisara then looked at the gang, "However Pegasus found them and then used them to make seven cards but the cards were stolen by a former employee. Never to be seen again".

Tristan looked at her, "And those were the Crystal Beast cards?"

"Yep" said Kairi before she pulled out the seven Crystal beasts cards. And laid them down on the table.

"I can't believe it. they are real" said Yugi seeing the rare cards

"Hold up. How come all of them don't surpass over 2000 attack points?" Asked Joey.

"That's because their Leader is the strongest of the Crystal Beasts…Rainbow Dragon" said Kairi revealing her Rainbow Dragon Card. A long serpentine dragon with white scales, angelic wings and the seven gems on his neck. Kisara couldn't believe she was seeing the legendary Rainbow Dragon with her own two eyes. She had heard of a more powerful crystal beast but to see it in person made her look at her own deck, on the front of the Deck is a Blue Eyes White Dragon.

"That card can give Blue Eyes a run for its money" said Joey.

"The Legendary Rainbow Dragon….awesome." Said Yugi seeing the card. First he got to see the ultra Rare Blue Eyes White Dragon his grandpa had before Kaiba ripped it in half and now the Rainbow Dragon.

Kairi returned the cards to her deck hoister. Next it was Joey and Tea to have a duel. everyone including Sora and Kairi to watch. "Joey just got into Duel Monsters too but he's at a Rookie level." Said Kisara

Joey manage to defeat Tea with a combo of Using Flame Swordsman with a Salamandra magic card to defeat Tea's Airknight parshath.

"Alright, I won this time Tea" said Joey,

"Great win Joey" said Tea.

"So magic cards are important to the game." Said Sora.

"That's right. Duel Monsters is all about combining your monster cards with your magic cards to increase their strength. With no magic in your deck, your monsters will get creamed every time ." Said Yugi.

"Even the most powerful cards like Blue Eyes white dragon needs support cards to protect it from trap cards and it's the most powerful monster in all of Duel monsters minus Exodia." said Kisara.

"Blue Eyes White Dragon?" Asked Kairi. She had seen Sora with the same cards and she has one in her deck given to her by Sora. Kisara then showed the two three copies of the White Dragon. "You have three of them?" Asked Sora.

"Yep ... .my mother worked for Industrial illusions when she was alive….she managed to get Pegasus to create a deck made just for Blue Eyes for me because I always loved Blue Eyes White Dragon ever since I became interested in Duel Monsters." Said Kisara.

"How many copies of Blue Eyes are there?" Asked Sora now curious.

"There were seven of them…I have three of them and so does a former friend of mine." Said Kisara with a bit of anger in regards to her friend. Sora and Kairi noticed her tone had changed a bit when she mentioned a former friend. Did something happen between them that made Kisara not want to talk about it.

"My grandpa had the last one ever made in existence." Said Yugi.

"That was until Kaiba ripped it in half." Said Tristan,

'"Kaiba?" Asked Sora.

"Seto Kaiba ... .CEO of Kaibacorp. A gaming company that used to be a weapons manufacturer before Seto took over it from his stepfather gozaburo…Yugi invited us over to see his grandpa's rare card." Said Kisara.

"Kaiba followed us and he wanted to get his hands on my grandpas card but he wouldn't part with it because it was given to him by his friend." Said Yugi.

"He wouldn't take no for an answer so he had his employees take him to Kaiba corp and forced him in a duel." Said Kisara with anger,

/flashback..two weeks ago/

They arrived after Miho promised to watch over Kimi and found Grandpa collapsed on the floor. Yugi immediately ran to him, and he weakly answered his grandson. Grandpa explained that he tried to teach Seto about the Heart of the Cards, but he failed. Kisara noticed he was pale and sweating. He needed to get to a hospital as soon as possible.

"How's the old man feeling?" Seto sneered as he stood in the opposite doorway. Kisara had a hard time seeing any real concern on his face. Seto explained he and Grandpa dueled, and each put up their most valuable card as an ante. "But I guess playing against a champion like myself was just too much stimulation for the old fool," he finished.

"Kaiba, you should be ashamed of yourself," Tea chastised the CEO.

"It was fair," Seto insisted, holding up Grandpa's Blue-Eyes White Dragon. "And look at the sweet prize I won." He tore the card in half. "Yes, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a rare and powerful, and this one will never be used against me." He tossed the pieces to the side.

A sense of shock and fury shot through Kisara. Seeing the card destroyed felt like her heart was ripped in two, the last blue Eyes white dragon card destroyed and Kisara was furious at Seto for it. Before she knew what she was doing, she marched right up to him and slapped him across his face. Everyone, including Seto, stared at her in disbelief. "What is wrong with you, Seto?" she demanded to know. "What makes you think you can march into people's lives and take the things that mean the most to them? What gives you the right to destroy what other people care about? What happened to the boy who used to smile. What happened to my Best Friend!?" Tears welled in her eyes as she glared at him. Her heart was broken to see what he had did to her favorite dragon and what he had become

Seto said nothing as he stared her down, his left hand pressed against his cheek. While the former friends stared at each other, Grandpa handed Yugi his deck and instructed him to teach Seto about the Heart of the Cards. Yugi was more focused on getting Grandpa to a hospital, and Tea called 911. Seto tore his gaze away from Kisara and goaded Yugi into dueling him too, though Kisara didn't know why. Technically Seto didn't have anything else to gain by dueling Yugi, unless he just wanted to humiliate the Mutos further. Kisara was gonna duel for Yugi but the others pushed Yugi to take Seto down as well, to get him back for what he did to Grandpa. "We can take care of your grandpa while you take care of creepy Kaiba," Joey insisted. "Teach that rich brat what a real duel's all about!"

"For your grandpa, Yugi," Tea added. The tri-color haired teen was still unsure.

"Trust me," Joey encouraged him. "You're like the best player I've ever seen, and you've got the Millennium Puzzle. You can do this, Yugi! I know you can!"

"We all do," Tea insisted.

Yugi nodded and took the deck from his grandpa. "Everyone, put your hands together, and I'll mark us with a special sign," Tea instructed. The guys did as they were told. "You too, Kisara," Tea insisted, pulling Kisara in between her and Yugi. " Once she was in, Tea drew a smiley face on them; Yugi, Kisara, and Tea had the mouth while Joey and Tristan each had an eye.

"What gives, Tea?" Joey asked as everyone stared at the marks on their hands.

"It's a symbol of our friendship," Tea explained. "I know the ink will eventually fade, but our bond never will. Old and new friends, no matter what happens, we'll always be there for each other. And no matter how tough things get in there today, Yugi will know we're right there with him."

The sound of the siren announced the arrival of the ambulance. Joey helped load Grandpa onto Tristan's back to carry him out. Kisara knelt to pick up the torn pieces of Grandpa's Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Looking at them was like looking at an open wound. When this was over, she promised to find some way to repair it. Grandpa and the dragon deserved it. Kisara followed Yugi and Seto into the dueling arena.

Kisara was amazed by the size of the arena. Is a place this big really needed to duel? Usually all we need is a table. She glanced around the arena, realizing to the full extent how seriously Seto took this. . Seto bragged about how he designed the arena himself as he and Yugi stood on opposite sides of the field, elevated by the rig. "Are you ready to play, runt?" Seto sneered after he finished explaining the parameters of the game.

"Seto…" Kisara said with anger building in her.

"Play time is over, Kaiba!" Yugi answered him. The Millennium Puzzle flashed, and Yugi grew taller, or at least Kisara thought so. The blonde in his tri-colored hair stood up more also, and his amethyst eyes were more narrowed and focused. Seto noticed the change as well before regaining his composure. "Now prepare yourself, Kaiba, because it's time to duel!" Yugi's suddenly deeper voice challenged Seto.

Seto took the first move of the duel by summoning Hitotsu-Me Giant in attack position. The arena lit up, and the monster appeared on his field. He explained his virtual simulator brought more life to the game. So this how he beat Grandpa. Kisara couldn't help but feel Seto unfairly overpowered the old man. Yugi answered Seto's challenge by summoning his Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress. The dragons' fireball engulfed and destroyed Seto's Giant.

"What? Monsters? Real Monsters?" Joey's voice sounded beside Kisara.

"They're holograms," she explained. "If I understood Seto's explanation correctly, it's a simulator to enhance the gameplay."

"No wonder Gramps looked so bad out there," Joey commented.

"Big Brother, are you all right?" a small boy with long, black hair wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans ran out to cheer Seto on.

Seto wasn't fazed by Yugi's monster or attack. He summoned his Saggi the Dark Clown and cast the magic card Negative Energy Generator to triple its attack points to 1800. It overpowered Yugi's Winged Dragon and knocked his LifePoints down to 1600. Yugi was forced to go on the defensive as Saggi eliminated every monster he summoned. "You're not faring any better than the old man did, Yugi," Seto taunted him. "Your deck is just as weak and feeble as your grandfather."

"My grandpa is a great man, and a better duelist than you'll ever be," Yugi defended his family. "He entrusted me with his cards, and I can feel his heart in this deck. I doubt you have that kind of faith in your cards, Kaiba." Seto looked unsure for a minute. "But I believe in my grandpa's deck," Yugi drew his card, "and my faith rewards me with Gaia, the Fierce Knight!" The mounted knight appeared on the field, and with 2300 attack points destroyed Saggi and dropped Kaiba's LifePoints to 1300. "Your move, Kaiba."

"It'll be over sooner than you think," Seto said as he drew. He smirked at his draw. "I call on the Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" The large dragon materialized on Seto's field.

Kisara growled. He had the other three copies of the dragon and he ripped the last copy right in front of them. She had the pieces as proof. "Surprised?" Seto sneered. "Did you think your grandfather was the only one to possess a Blue-Eyes White Dragon?" The dragon vaporized Yugi's Gaia.

"You forgotten that I have the other three copies Seto….are you gonna take my dragons too!" Exclaimed Kisara.

"Yes….there is only one master of the Blue Eyes White Dragon and it's me." said Kaiba with a dark tone.

Kisara gasped before she looked at the ground, a lone tear fell down her cheek hearing that, "you really have become Gozaburo….haven t you Seto.

"Faith or no faith, you will fall before my superior monsters, Yugi," Seto continued to taunt his opponent. "Power is what this game is all about, you fool. Faith is for losers, like your pathetic grandfather. In your entire deck there's not a single card that can stand up to a Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Seto's dragon kept Yugi on the defensive as it obliterated monster after monster. "So what hope do you have against two?" He summoned a second Dragon.

"Don't give up, Yugi!" Kisara encouraged her friend. "Knock some sense into Seto!" she couldn't let Seto get away with what he did to Grandpa. The only way to prove him wrong was for Yugi to defeat him. She too believed in the Heart of the Cards.

Yugi held off the two dragons with the magic card Swords of Revealing Light. For three turns they were unable to attack. But what else could Yugi do? Kisara could see the gears turning in his head as he thought through his options. "Quit your stalling, Yugi, or you will forfeit the match!" Seto yelled at his opponent.

"I never forfeit," Yugi called back as he drew and summoned a monster.

Seto smirked as he drew. "My dragons may be frozen for another two turns, but my new monster is under no such spell—the Judge Man with an attack power of 2200." Seto's monster appeared and slammed his mace onto Yugi's face-down monster.

"Dark Magician!" Yugi summoned a purple-robed Magician destroyed the Judge Man, and Seto's LifePoints fell to 1000. "Your Judge Man falls," Yugi said.

"Oh, a sacrifice that doesn't even faze me," Seto sneered. "And though neither dragon can move for one more turn, my next card is the third Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" A third dragon materialized on the field in front of the glowing swords. "Now, my dragon, attack!" Dark Magician was obliterated by the White Dragon's power. Yugi only had 400 LifePoints left, and the other dragons would be free on the next turn.

Kisara felt her temper rise; when did Seto become such a selfish jerk? "If only I gave him Shining Dragom…it's Blue Eues Surpreme form but Yugi would need Ultimate Dragon and to summon Ultimate Dragon. He would need to have three Blue Eyes White Dragons." Thought Kisara.

Kisara saw the doubt in Yugi's eyes as he stared at his deck. Come on, Yugi! There's got to be something you can do! Kisara saw the ink on her hand, three lines across signifying the middle of the mouth of Tea's smiley face. We're here for you!

"Draw your last pathetic card so I can end this, Yugi," Seto remained confident in his victory as he taunted his opponent.

"My grandpa's deck has no pathetic cards, Kaiba," Yugi smirked as he drew. He flipped around the card for Seto to see. "But it does contain the unstoppable Exodia!" He played five cards on his field.

"No way! Yugi has Exodia in his deck!" Exclaimed Kisara. Nobody has ever summon him before.

"I've assembled all five special cards, all five pieces of the puzzle!"

A large monster with an ancient Egyptian vibe passed through a multi-pointed star onto Yugi's field. Seto stepped back in horror from it. "Exodia? It's not possible! No one's ever been able to call him!"

"Exodia, obliterate!" The large monster fired golden magic at the three dragons, completely destroying them. Seto's LifePoints dropped to zero.

"All right, Yugi! You did it!" Joey cheered for his best friend. Kisara was happy that Grandpa Motou was avenge but also sad to see her former friend lose.

"This can't be!" Mokuba screamed in denial. "My brother never loses!"

"You play only for power, Kaiba, and that is why you lost," Yugi said, "But if you put your heart in the game, there is nothing you can't do."

"But how?" the defeated duelist stared at his console. "How could I lose to him?"

"Kaiba, if you truly want to know," a golden eye appeared on Yugi's forehead at the same time the Millennium Puzzle flashed with light, "open your mind!" Seto sank to his knees. "Maybe now, you will begin to see," Yugi said before shifting back to his regular self. Kisara could tell from his stance that he was back to the Yugi she and the others knew. Why did he seem so different when he dueled Seto?

"That was awesome, Yuge!" Joey threw an arm around his friend, putting in a playful headlock. Kisara's phone rang: Tea called saying that Grandpa was awake and going to be okay. The three friends began to leave to go visit Grandpa. When they got to the door, Kisara gave one last look to her former friend—he still knelt where he had been defeated. Kisara then knew what she had to do. She went over to him before taking out a made up necklace of beads that had the letters best friend in blue. she had always worn this necklace when Seto made it for her back at the orphanage before he was adopted by Gozaburo.

"I can't be your friend anymore Seto…your not the Seto I remember." Said Kisara tossing the necklace towards him which lands in front of him. She then turns to leave with her friends.

"Kisara….wait!" Said Mokuba trying to stop her. ,

"Stay away Mokie!" Shouted Kisara with anger.

"Kisara?" said Mokuba taken back at her anger. Kisara turned back to look at him with tears falling.

"You both got what you wanted all these years. All the power in the world and yet. Your still making everyone you meet miserable instead of happiness. Seto has become the very thing he hated" She said.

Mokuba could only be silent before she continued.

Tell Seto when he recovers that if he dares comes for my dragons. What he did to Mr. Motou is unforgivable. I will be using my full power and I mean my full power." Kisara said.

She turned to make her exit. Leaving the younger Kaiba brother all alone in the ring with Seto.

/Flashback end/

"Kaiba hasn't even came back to school ever since Yugi beat him." Said Joey.

"How could he hurt an innocent old man just over a card?" Said Kairi feeing anger rising. She wanted to make This Kaiba meet her keyblade of better Yet. Rainbow Dragon. Sora agreed with his girlfriend.

"He wasn t always like this…he was a sweet and kind boy when we were kids." Said Kisara remembering the good times she had with the Kaiba brothers when they lived together in the Orphanage. They acted like a family taking care of a younger Mokuba and Kimi who was only two at the time, but all that changed when they were adopted by Gozaburo Kaiba.

"My grandpa recovered and he's alright. But his card will never be the same again" said Yugi.

"You think he can teach me a few things too?" Asked Sora

"Me too. I wanna learn from the best" said Kairi,

"Of course," said Yugi with a smile. After school ended. The two keybearers with their new friends walked to Yugi's house came to a close as the shorter stopped walking at a shop. It had the word "Game" written in bold red letters above the door, from which hung an "Open" sign. With a small, curious blink, Sora looked at a poster hanging in the window. It was about an upcoming tournament—a "Duel Monsters" tournament—that was taking place this week.

"This is my grandfather's game shop," explained Yugi, opening the door for everyone to walk in. "He sells games from all over the world. The house is at the back."

Once Sora and Kairi walked in, their eyesight was flooded with all the different kinds of games on the shelves and display case counter. Board games, chance games, card games—any kind of game one could think of was in this shop. Though it was small and cozy, there was a happy and exciting sense to it. they looked around in awe. they had never seen such rare games before. they had played maybe one or two old games with Riku when they were young, but that was about it. And those were the simple kinds of games, ones we could create from household items. After the day the keyblade came into their lives., they didn't have the time for games. Now, after seeing so many in one place, it reminded them of the good memories they had with their best friend.

"So your shop and house are in one place," Sora said, surprised. "That's neat and convenient. This is wonderful!"

Joey grinned. "The game shop also sells Duel Monsters cards. The best ones I might add."

Tristan smirked "Dude, all the cards are in random packaging," he said. "No matter which store Industrial Illusions sends them to, they're all random."

Joey sweat dropped by his friend's remark. Téa, Miho, Kisara and Yugi the keybearers had to chuckle at the blonde.

"Am I hallucinating, or are there voices coming from downstairs?" a man's voice suddenly sounded from another room. From around the corner of the archway at the back of the store appeared an aged man. His hair was gray but it looked like Yugi's style put into a bandanna. His deep amethyst eyes were warm and kind, just like his grandson's. He wore a white work shirt under green overalls. The smile on his face was inviting, and the two keybearers could sense a strong connection between him and Yugi.

"Yep!" said Joey with an excited smile on his face. "We're here to party! Let's start."

The old man laughed, then his gaze shifted over to Sora and Kairi he blinked in surprise. "I think you've added two guests to the list, Joseph," he said, causing the blond to start grinning sheepishly. Then he gazed at Sora and Kairi warmly. "Who do we have here? A new friend?"

Yugi smiled. "Well... we're getting there," he said. "Grandpa, this is Sora and his Girlfriend Kairi. They just moved to Japan today. Sora, Kairi , this is my grandpa."

He smiled. "Nice to meet you kids."

"The same sir….we heard your teach duel monsters right." Said Sora,

"I sure do. I take it you kids want to learn how to play?" Said Mr, Motou

"Yeah. I have a rare deck of cards called the Crystal Beasts" said Kairi,

Mr. Motou's eyes widened when he heard Crystal Beasts. "Impossible…nobody has seen those cards in years since they were stolen from Industrial illusion years ago,"

"No grandpa. She really has them." Said Yugi. Kairi took out the Seven Crystal Beasts and the Rainbow Dragon. Like Yugi. He copied his grandson when he first saw the cards, "to think I am actually seeing the Legendary Rainbow Dragon and the Seven Crystal Beasts with my own two eyes" said Mr. Motou.

"Oh that reminds me Mr. Motou." Said Kisara. She pulled out mr. motous ripped Blue Eyes White Dragon Card all taped up. "I was meaning to give this back to you."

Kairi seeing the ripped card took it much to her confusion. "I know a thing of two about damaged cards. I may be able to repair it."

She then walked over to a counter and kept her back to the others. She pulled out a small bottle of glue before acting like she was glueing it. Once she removed the tape and her hand on the card. , she whispered "Repaira"

The two halves of the card became one once again and she then grabbed the fan near her and pointed it at her holding the card. Once she had it on the card for a minute did she pull back and held up the repaired card. "Here you go"

"No way" said Tea,

Kairi handed Mr. Motou his card back. Soloman held the card that meant so much to him since it was a gift from Arther. "awesome Grandpa...your most prized possession" Yugi exclaimed on seeing his grandpa's most prized card fixed. Sora looked at her before he asked without making a noise "magic?"

She nodded which thankfully the others were distracted by the repaired card.

"Thank you Kairi" said Mr. Motou. He wondered how she did it but didn't bother to ask, he then put the card back into its box and closed if.

"How about you two help yourselves to a couple of Booster packs. On the house. I just gotten some new ones from Industrial illusions just today." Said Mr. Motou.

"Are you sure Mr, Motou," said Sora,

"Of course…even you Joesph" said Mr, Motou,

"Alright. Thanks Mr. Motou." Said Joey. He then picks three booster packs and the same with Sora and Kairi.

Joey then opens his first one and the card he sees first on the pack os a Black dragon with Red eyes. It's attack power was 2400/2000. He then moves the next card to reveal a magic card called Dragon Nails, another magic card called Red Eyes Fusion, A metoer Dragon and then a trap card called Return of the Red Eyes.

"Hey Yuge? Kisara? Is Red Eyes Black Dragon any good" said Joey,

"RED EYES BLACK DRAGON!" Exclaimed Yugi and Kisara. Joey then showed them the cards he got from the first booster pack.

"I've heard of that dragon. It's power can rival Blue Eyes…but to actually see it in person is amazing." Said Kisara looking at the Black Dragon. Joey looked at the Red Eyes Black Dragon and he could feel as if the dragon was staring into his soul. Joey then opens the next packet and he is surprised to see he had gotten another Red Eyes Black dragon, a new dragon called Pandemic Dragon which has an attack power of 2500/1000.A fusion monster called Meteor Black Dragon, Another Fusion monster named Black Skull Dragon and then red eyes B chick dragon. A baby version of the Black dragon.

"Whoa? Another Red Eyes. And is that Pandemic Dragon!l exclaimed Kisara seeing Pandemic Dragon. She had been trying to find one herself to counter the Crush Card that Kaiba has.

"Pandemic dragon?" Asked Sora,

"A Virus Dragon. It's has a special power that allows it to weaken monsters when it's on the field and if it infects a monster with its virus. They are automatically destroyed by it, Joey open your last packet. I'm very curious to see what you get next." said Kisara

Joey opened his last packet of cards and he sees two more Red Eyes Black Dragons, Polmerization magic card, Summoned Skull and then a new Red Eyes that had red gems on its body anc wings. Kisara couldn't believe what she was seeing, "can it really be?"

"What is it Kisara?" Asked Yugi.

"That card is none other than Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. A super rare card that many have tried to find." Said Kisara,

"Red Eyes Darkness Dragon?" Asked Tristan,

"It's the opposite of Blue Eyes Shining Dragon." Said Kisara taking out a card from her deck. On the card was a white dragon that looked more machine and had blue orbs on its wings and chest, its attack power is 3000/2500

"like My dragon. That one gains 300 attack points for each dragon in the card graveyard. " said Kisara.

"Awesome." Said Miho.

"That must be some good luck that you got those cards Joey in three packages." said Sora. Joey looked at the cards he had pulled and he thought that they would bring him some good wins.

Kisara then recalled she had some Red Eyes cards she had acquired and she then pulled out her small case that had her extra cards. She then opened the case showing off her collection. "Hey Joey..I have some Red Eyes cards you can have…I don't even use them."

She then handed Joey some cards and Joey and the group saw a three headed Red Eyes Black Dragon with white marks on his head. (4000/3400

"Red Eyes Ultimate Dragon" said Joey looking at the card. The other cards seemed to support Red Eyes. Red Eyes Wyvern(1800/1600), Red Eyes Retro Dragon(1700/1600), a trap card called Red Eyes Burn, a magic card Red Eyes Insight, Red Eyes Baby Dragon(1200/700).

"Take them….i don't even use them but I think you can put them to good use Joey." Said Kisara.

"Are you sure Kisara? There your cards." Said Joey,

"I don't need them. I'm happy with my Blue Eyes deck." She said with a small smile.

"Thanks treat them with the respect they deserve." Said Joey taking the cards,

"Now let's build up your deck with your new cards." Said yugi. The group of friends went to the living room.

Mr. Muto had Sora and Kairi sit on one of the lounges in the living room. It was very spacious and comfy, with two other lounges circling a coffee table. A television set was placed on the other side.

The others followed suit and seated themselves as well. Téa was beside Kairi while the Muto's were on the couch perpendicular to them. Miho and Tristan were on the one parallel to them. A tray of water filled glasses was on the dark, wooden coffee table and Kisara and Joey were sitting on the floor going though Joeys deck and helping him set up his new cards into his deck. Kimi sat beside her sister holding a stuffed dragon toy.. "So I can't have no more than three of the same cards in my deck right Kisara?" Asked Joey.

"That's right Joey." Said Kisara.

Joey then thought about it before he took the extra Red Eyes and he offered it to Yugi. "Here Yuge…I want you to have it."

"Are you sure Joey." Said Yugi,

"Yeah, make it like I'm part of your deck with my dragon giving you strength." Said Joey already liking to call Red Eyes his dragon. Yugi nodded before accepting the card from his friend.

"So Sora, Kairi are you two liking Domino City?" Asked Mr. Motou.

"Yeah….we been given a warm welcome by everyone here." Said Kairi forgetting about Damian and that Kiki girl.

"My grandson has some great friends." Said Mr, Motou. He then went off into the kitchen.

"Hey guys why don't we watch the Tournament" said Miho. "The finals are supposed to be on."

Tristan looked at the clock hanging on the wall near the archway. He had his hands on his head in shock in an instant. "Oh man! There's only five minutes left until it starts!"

As the boys tried to hastily put together the television to the proper channel broadcasting the tournament, Téa and the girls watched them with amused smiles.

The five minutes that were left until the game were up, just as the three boys found the right channel. With excited grins, they took a seat on one couch, as if they were ready to watch the Super Bowl.

"What kind of tournament is it?" Asked Kairi to Tea,

"A duel monsters tournament," said Tea,

"Everyone must really like Duel Monsters." Said Sora.

A picture flew onto the television screen of an announcer. He held a microphone in his hand. His dark hair was neatly cut and his dark suit was nicely pressed. With a smile on his face, he announced the beginning of the finals.

"Welcome to the live streaming of the Regional Championships!" he said, holding the microphone up to his mouth. The crowd sitting on the bleachers behind him roared and cheered in excitement, ready for the tournament to start. "The finals are finally here! Let's get started!"

Two stands, one red and the other blue, unfolded themselves from within the walls on each side of the room in which the finals were taking place. It was as big as a football field. There were two boys standing on the stands with a deck of cards set onto a mat in front of them

The screen then showed a short boy with oddly cut blue hair and round yellow glasses. He wore a long green coat over his clothes and the smirk on his face was sneaky, as though he knew something everyone else didn't. "Introducing Weevil Underwood! The Bug Brawler!" cried the announcer with a great flourish of his arm in the boy's direction. The crowd cheered.

Another picture came onto screen, but this time, it showed the other boy. This one had brown hair at the back and purple bangs at the front—all covered by a red cap. His clothes were casual, like his own smirk. The announcer then gestured to him with another great sweep of his arm. "And Rex Raptor! The Dino Duelist! Alright, duelists! Ready your decks. Shuffle them. And let's begin! Who will take the championship? The suspense in this room is nearly killing me!" Everyone looked about ready for the duel to start. I bet it would be suspenseful.

"I know Rex very well. Despite him using brute strength of his dinosaurs, he duels with honor rather than Weevil who uses insects. Despite him being a great strategist..he cheats and sabotages others duelist decks." Said Kisara.

"Who do you thinks gonna win it Kisara?" Asked Kimi

"I would say that it could either be one other but I want Rex to win." Said Kisara.

"It should have been me out there dueling!" cried Joey in exasperation.

Téa's expression softened. "I know that you've been training for weeks," she said. "but these guys are in another league. You're just not ready."

"Even if you didn't make it into the tournament, grandpa's training has made you a much stronger duelist than before," commented Yugi encouragingly. "And he's proud of you too." His friend's words raised Joey's hopes.

Joey then sighed in relief, remembering the torture he's been going through.

/mini flashback/

"So tired. Must rest." Joey said as he started to shuffle cards, but drops them all and puts his head down on the table, with Mr. Muto standing over him with a sword.

"You have no time for rest! Did you come here to learn Duel Monsters, or did you come here to catch up on your sleeping?!" Mr. Muto yelled after he whacked the sword down on the table next to Joey's head.

-end Mini Flashback-

"Yugi's right," added Tristan. "You even know what a trap card is now."

Joey shot a playful glare at Tristan while everyone shared a kind hearted laugh at the blond's attempt at being annoyed. "See what there doing to me Sora and Kairi. There making fun of me!"

"Sorry, Joey." Sora grinned, joining in on the fun. Kairi could help but join in as well.

The blond merely grinned. "It doesn't matter," he said with a wave of his hand. "It's all good. No, Tristan. Do not dump ice down my back the next time I turn around."

Tristan snapped his fingers in defeat. "Dang it... I thought I would have you cornered."

The group shared a kind hearted laugh.

Just then, Mr. Muto appeared from the kitchen holding a large white box. His face held a question as he brought it in. They looked up. "Yugi, there was a package in the mail for you," he said, coming around the lounge where the boy was sitting. Yugi looked at his grandfather in question.

"Oh?" he asked carefully, taking the box his grandfather gave him. He sat it carefully into his lap and looked at the return address at the top. His round amethyst eyes suddenly widened as he read it.

"No way—it's from Industrial Illusions!"

"Industrial Illusions?" exclaimed Joey. Everyone else looked surprised as well. "That's the company that makes the Duel Monsters cards! What could they want from you, Yugi?"

Yugi's eyes narrowed in curiosity, wondering the exact same thing. "I don't know," he said. "Could they have somehow heard about me beating the World Champion? It wasn't an official match, but Kaiba did drop out of the tournament because of it."

"Good….he has enough power as it is. We don't need another Gozaburo around " Kisara muttered darkly. Yugi and the others looked at her. It was clear that she wasn't going to be forgiving her former friend anytime soon.

"I'll look at this package after the match," said Yugi, setting it down beside him. "Thanks, grandpa."

Suddenly, Tristan's voice turned our attention back to the duel. "Hey, Rex just stomped Weevil!" he said. Everyone blinked.

"The two "duelists" on the television screen drew some cards from their decks and began their "duel".

The cards' backs in the duelists' hands looked the same as the ones shown on the poster. Sora didn't know about the monster, but the cards looked the same.

Weevil and Rex had a good duel going on. They took turns playing their cards. So, first was Rex's turn. He played a card face up in a vertical position on the mat he was standing behind. On the arena the duelists' stands were floating over, holographic projectors glowed and shimmered, creating the illustration on the card into a life-like model.

"Whoa, Real Monsters!" Exclaimed Sora.

"It's the holographic arena. Kaiba designed them to make the game better." Said Yugi before looking back at the match.

"And the winner of the Regional Championship is Weevil Underwood!" cried the announcer, raising his arm grandly to gesture at the blue haired duelist. The bug duelist was smiling gleefully—or was it a smirk? I couldn't tell. Either way, he was thrilled he won. With his deck in hand, he raised his arm as if he was holding a trophy. Celebration sounded around. Rex Raptor retreated off the field in defeat.

"Poor Rex…there's always next time" said Kisara.

From a trapdoor in the floor emerged a tall man dressed in an elegant red suit. He had long silver hair which covered half his face and a straight composure, like a businessman's. In his hand was a golden trophy, which he presented to a now awed Weevil, stunned by his presence.

"Here to present the champion's trophy himself is Maximillion Pegasus!" said the announcer with another grand flourish. "The CEO of Industrial Illusions and creator of Duel Monsters himself!"

The crowd began to cheer even more. Everyone around Sora and Kairi looked as surprised. But for different reasons.

"This is so cool!" commented Joey in awe, along with everyone else. "I can't believe we're seeing the creator of Duel Monsters live!"

"So he's the one who made the game" Sora said looking at Kairi who nodded. The man Ra told them about.

For a brief moment, his brown eyes flickered towards the camera, before he announced his invitation to Weevil. He wanted him in the tournament he was hosting at Duelist Kingdom.

But something else had thrown Sora off entirely, hence he was shocked at something different than the rest of the gang. The one moment that man looked into the camera, he could feel a strange power coming from him. "You feel it too don't you" Kairi whispered to his ear also feeling the strange power.

"Yeah." Sora whispered back.

everyone gathered around Yugi and the mysterious white box that was sitting forgotten on the floor.

Yugi opened the box just when Joey was saying, "I wonder what Industrial Illusions sent you..."

The contents... were slightly odd.

Against the white of the box and platform they were sitting on, the items were a glove, pins in a clear box, and a videotape. The glove was a reddish-purple with the fingers cut off halfway. A white ruffled sphere at the bottom bore holes in the shape of stars. The pins in the clear box weren't even pins, they were golden star shaped chips. The holes on the glove matched them.

But, why would the company of Duel Monsters send these... almost random... objects to Yugi?

"A glove and two stars..." murmured Téa wonderingly.

"Aren't gloves supposed to come in pairs?" Sora asked as Yugi shrugged.

Tristan blinked, just as confused as the rest of us. "Maybe there's an explanation on the video," he suggested.

Yugi brought out the tape and looked over its black, shiny surface. "Good idea," he said, slipping the video into the player wired to the television set. Everyone gathered around him. The screen was black for a few moments before a picture person on the video was someone they had seen just minutes Pegasus. The man they had just seen presenting the winning trophy to Weevil, was now on the television screen, dressed in a dark coat with his long silver hair hiding half his face again. And this time, he was staring directly into the camera, wearing a mysterious smile. The one amber coloured eye we could see seemed kind... but... for some reason, it seemed so kind it was... evil.

And when Sora met his eyes, he sensed something troubling.

"Greetings, little Yugi," said the man with a slight smile. "I am Maximillion Pegasus."

"It's Pegasus!" cried Miho, surprised. "We just saw him on TV!"

"The creator of Duel Monsters sends greetings to my Yugi?" asked Mr. Muto in awe. "This is the stuff of legend!"

"I've heard some very interesting things about you, Yugi," continued Pegasus with his interested smile. "Your defeat of Seto Kaiba has intrigued me so much, I've decided to investigate your dueling skills personally. I challenge you to a duel, Yugi. We will duel using a strict time limit of fifteen minutes, and when time is up, the player with the highest life points will be the winner."

Everyone was boggled. A recording of Pegasus wanted to duel Yugi now? It was insane!

"What?" asked Joey, troubled. "How can you duel with a videotape?"

"That's crazy!" agreed Tristan.

Pegasus chuckled, as if hearing the boys' comments. "No," he said. "It's magic!"

Suddenly, everything became bone chillingly cold. The living room began to fill with dark shadows; swirling clouds of dark purple and black. Everyone, except for Yugi, Sora, Kairi and Kisara, froze on their spot and was pushed a meter back; their faces held shock from the moment before yugi turned back. his friends and grandpa. "What did you do?!" Sora yelled next to Yugi.

"Kimi? Kimi speak to me" said Kisara trying to move her little sister but she wouldn't bulge like the others. . /is this the Shadow realm? The realm Ra told us about./ thought Kairi feeling a bit afraid of the place. She didn't know it but her Crystal Beasts were using their light to help her not feel afriad,

Pegasus' smirk never faltered. Instead, He actually thought it intensified. His amber eyes, the one that wasn't hiding behind his hair, was amused at the other threes presence, yet it also knew something. "I sense a strange power other than Yugi's Millennium Puzzle," he said, purposely avoiding Sora's question. He looked at Sora and Kairi. "Is that why you haven't been caught in my spell? Some sort of magic shielded you two, didn't it?"

"What is going on Pegasus!" Kisara growled. Unkown to the three. The Spirit of Blue Eyes appeared and covered Kisara with her light, shielding her from the Shadow Realm.

"My..my another unkown power to me. well I'll figure it all out later. …We're no longer in the world we used to know, and unless you win against me," said Pegasus with a determined smirk on his face. Who knew someone who seemed so inviting and kind one second could suddenly turn evil in another second. "You won't return back to the real world."

At the mention of being returned, Yugi accepted the challenge. Sora and Kairi didn't bother to intervene, because if Pegasus went through the trouble of taking them to the Shadow Realm, then he truly meant business. It wouldn't be easy to go back forcefully, against his powers. Their only hope of returning to our world was if Yugi won this duel but one question remained in Kairis head. How was it Pegasus was able to drag them into the Shadow Realm unless.

"Then it's time to duel, Pegasus!" he cried, determination suddenly filling his eyes.

Suddenly, a bright golden light blasted out from within Yugi's Millennium Puzzle, engulfing Yugi in it. His head tilted back to the ceiling and an unfamiliar cry escaped his lips. Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs circled around the boy's kneeling figure with spirals of fast air shooting along with them. Ocean blue light shot out of the ground around him, and the keybearers witnessed Yugi change. Physically—and he bet mentally too.

When the blue light twirled upward to the ceiling, he was back—but this time, Yugi looked completely different. Not only was he taller, leaner, and more of a confident structure, his facial features had changed as well.

This new person had glowing, exotic crimson eyes rather than the averse and gentle amethyst eyes of Yugi's. His hair was the same; a unique style no one could mimic, but with a few extra features of jutting, golden bangs.

"The Pharoah" thought Sora and Kairi.

"Again?" Thought Kisara seeing the transformation.

""Alright, Pegasus. Start the clock and make your move" said Yugi with an older voice

A timer of fifteen minutes appeared on the bottom left corner of the screen Once Pegasus started the duel and placed one card face down, it started counting down. "Are you nervous, Yugi-boy?" he asked, tauntingly. "You should be. You have never faced a duelist like me before."

(LP: Yugi: 2000/Pegasus: 2000)

"You might be good, Pegasus," said Yugi, narrowing his crimson eyes at the man.

"I assure you, I am."

"But I'll beat you to save my friends." He just put down a card as his first move—

—When Pegasus snickered. "You won't beat anyone with that dragon card," he said.

Yugi's eyes widened. "It can't be..." he said disbelievingly. "He's guessed my card!"

Sora looked down at the card he just played to find the Koumori dragon face up in attack mode. It was Sora's turn for his eyes to widen. "You're right!" He exclaimed. "But... How could he have known? He didn't even look at it..."

"I told you that you've never faced a duelist like me before," said Pegasus smugly. "I know every move you'll make—before you can even make it."

"What—"

"Knowing every move you'll make gives me a distinct advantage, wouldn't you say? For example; I can anticipate your next play and counter it with the Dragon Capture Jar!"

"No!" How could he have known how to counter Yugi's monster? It certainly could not be counter the card Yugi just played... Pegasus could have read his mind.

Pegasus decided to reveal his trap card. It was the perfect counter-card. He held it up to the screen to show us that it was indeed the Dragon Capture Jar.

"That trap card keeps him from playing anymore dragons…shit." Said Kisara.

"It will draw the Koumori Dragon from your card and imprison the beast!" Pegasus said,

The card magically activated, sending a blast of white light from out of the screen and straight at our faces. they shielded our eyes with their arms in time. The power drew the Koumori dragon from out of its card and straight into the Dragon Capture Jar card still in Pegasus' spirit of the Koumori Dragon was sucked into the Dragon Capture Jar. Literally, This was no ordinary duel.

"Now your dragon is trapped; never to be played against me," said Pegasus with a smug smile on his face.

Yugi's eyes sparked with anger at his monster being stolen.

"This is crazy," he said. "First, he reads my mind, then brings the monster on the cards to life."

"I know, it is rather insane," Kisara whispered back, wondering about all the possibilities of how this dilemma could have happened. Only Sora and Kairi knew the truth thanks to Ra.

"This dark dimension we're in is known as the Shadow Realm," said Pegasus, as if it would answer their problems. "A mystical place where incredible monsters can be summoned and the impossible is quite possible."

"But what you're telling me can't be true." Said Yugi

Pegasus smirked mysteriously. "Tell me, Yugi; Do you believe there is magic within these cards?" he asked.

Kisaras eyes narrowed. "Don't you know? You invented this game.."

"What if I told you I didn't?" Said Pegasus

Yugi looked surprised. "What... you didn't?"

"In ancient times, the Egyptians called this the Shadow Game," said Pegasus. "Powerful Pharaohs would hold mystical duels in other dimensions. Just as we are doing now. But not with cards. They battled with real monsters and real magic. Magical forces so powerful, the Egyptians lost control of them and nearly destroyed the entire world."

Sora and Kairi looked at each other. They knew of this story thanks to Ra.

Yugi glared purposefully at the silver-haired man. "It's a good story, Pegasus," he said. "But these monsters can't be real."

Pegasus smirked, and played another card. A colorful monster with a flute at his lips emerged onto the field, as another monster spirit.(200/1800)

"Tell that to my Dragon Piper, as his Flute of Resurrection frees your Koumori Dragon but puts him under my control."

The Dragon Piper began to play his flute, bringing the soul of Yugi's Koumori Dragon from out of the Dragon Capture Jar, but indeed keeping it in Pegasus' control. The dark dragon glared hungrily at his former master.1500/1200

"I have to counter attack," Yugi said, choosing a card from his hand. He placed it down, watching the monster on the card come to life again. "Silver Fang!" The silvery wolf snarled, its yellow eyes directed towards Pegasus and his line of monsters.(1200/800)

But the Koumori Dragon got to him first. It breathed in to produce a fireball and blasted it into Silver Fang, scorching the pup and dissolving him into air.

The flames barely grazed them..

(LP: Yugi: 1500/Pegasus 2000)

"Ah, the heat," Sora winced, feeling his arm warm up.

"Is this really how a Shadow Game is suppose to feel." Thought Kairi. Even Kisara was having a hard time with this as well.

Pegasus smirked, as if his little game of toying with people was so much fun. They could not believe how innocent he seemed and then how just as quickly he turned around and showed them his true nature. "Hah. As you see, Yugi-boy, the monsters are very real. And also quite dangerous," said the silver-haired man, his amber eye glinting with malice. He sure loved creating nicknames.

Yugi merely glared at him; annoyed. He has sent a message to Yugi, to supposedly witness his dueling skills himself, only to trap Yugi's friends in the Shadow Realm and duel him in a Shadow Game. Sora and Kairi were glad their own magic blocked Pegasus's power in time when it did. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been here breathing and watching, but frozen in time.

Pegasus' smirk was malicious, secrecy glowing in his amber eye. "Ah, Yugi-boy, you really are quite entertaining. The way you scowl and sneer. So defiant and yet helpless. And so completely ignorant of the power of your Millennium Puzzle."

Yugi looked just as confused about his words. "What?"

"Five thousand years ago, a powerful Pharaoh locked the magic of the Shadow Games away," said Pegasus.

"What's this have to do with me?" Asked yugi

"The Pharaoh captured these vast magical energies in seven mystical Millennium Items," Pegasus smirked.

Both Kisara and Yugis eyes suddenly glimmered with confusion while Sora and Kairi already knew this due to Ra but acted confused..

"Seven Items? You're saying that... my Puzzle's one of them?" Yugi asked, mystified.

"Yes," said Pegasus, as though he was trying to lure someone into a trap. "And there are mystical energies locked within it. Magic that could change your life forever if you only knew how to unleash it."

"But, why are you telling us this?"

Pegasus' smile became mysterious. "Why?" he asked, as if it were no big deal. "Simply because I need you to know. But perhaps I have said too much. And since the clock is still ticking, I propose we resume play; our little duel."

"Well... why in the world would you need him to know?" Sora asked suspiciously, finding his temper getting the best of him. "Are you trying to plan something out of the Millennium Items?"

Pegasus glared accusingly at me. "What has this got to do with you?" he asked. A second passed between Sora and him before Pegasus slowly started to smirk. "Ah, interesting," he said impressively. "It seems I can't see in your mind for some reason..."

he tried with Kairi only to get the same thing, "even your little girlfriend too? my my. this is very interesting."

"He can read minds?" asked Yugi.

"I'm trying to figure it out," Sora admitted. "But, if he can, it would explain why he countered your first move perfectly."

"Right," he said. "We need to continue the duel. Time's running out."

Pegasus sat back in his chair. "Ah, very well. If you won't tell me. But, I will find out, Sora, Kairi.."

"Was that your move?" Yugi asked Pegasus.

The silver-haired man simply nodded. "Yes, it was," he said with another smirk. "Good luck countering it."

"Though I still haven't figured out if he can really read my mind or if it's some kind of trick, I have to keep playing," said Yugi. His fingers moved expertly over his hand of cards. He chose his next card, which was Zombie Warrior; a skeleton wearing armor, and was about to play it when suddenly, Sora and Kairi felt some magic being used in the room. Their eyes darted to the screen, just in time to see Pegasus hide his hair over half his face again, with a confident smirk playing on his lips.

"Wait," Yugi said, just as he was about to show Pegasus the card. "I can't play this card. He must know."

"Yeah," Sora said. "That's why he looks so confident right now."

Yugi searched for possibilities. It didn't lead him anywhere, because whatever card he chose now, Pegasus would already know about it. He wasn't left with any options.

Or... was he?

"Maybe... if I choose a card from my deck," he said thoughtfully, gazing at his deck of cards like it held all the answers to his problems. It was just a matter of thinking it through whether it was a good idea or not. "If I play a card even I haven't seen, then Pegasus will have no knowledge of it whatsoever."

"It's risky," Kisara informed. "But, if it really is all you can play without losing the round, then you'll have to go for it."

"It's worth it," he said. "I have to get our friends out of here."

Yugi drew his next card—and without even looking—put it down onto the mat. Their faith lies with this card.

"Hurry up, Yugi-boy," smirked Pegasus. He sounded like he had already won. "Time is running out; for you and your friends."

"I've figured out your little game, Pegasus," he said. "You may be able to see the cards in my hand, but you can't see the ones I pull from the deck."

Pegasus looked intrigued.

"My next card is..." Yugi flipped the card over to reveal a magician—a magician I knew all too well of its history. "The Dark Magician!"

A magician clad in dark purple robes with a teal scepter emerged from within the card.(2500/2100)

"Is that Mahad? The Dark Magician? The phaorahs loyal servant" thought Sora. He then noticed Mahad was looking right at him and nodded.

Pegasus did not look the least bit fazed, maybe slightly annoyed because he was tricked. "Oooh!" he said in a fake, scared tone. "It's a big, scary Dark Magician."

"Mock me all you like, Pegasus, but my Magician will destroy that dragon." Said Yami Yugi

Pegasus looked his way. "Go right ahead if you think it'll help," he said.

"I can't let the game end with my dragon under your command. Dark Magician; Dark Magic Attack!" Shouted Yami Yugi.

With dark energy, the Magician destroyed the Koumori Dragon with no problem. It brought Pegasus' Life Points down, and brought them one step closer to victory and saving Yugi's friends.

(LP: Yugi: 1500/Pegasus: 1200)

But Pegasus laughed triumphantly, instead of worrying about how close he was to losing. "Nicely played!" he said. "But by using your Dark Magician, you've let me manipulate you once again."

Their eyes widened.

"By playing that one card, you have ensured my victory." Said Pegasus with a smirk.

Yugi wouldn't believe it. It had to be a bluff. "No," he said.

"We shall see, Yugi," said Pegasus, drawing his next card. He liked what he drew.

"Oh," he said. "A very rare card." He showed us the card. "This is the fearsome Faceless Mage."

"I've never seen that card before," said Kisara. Then again it was the creator of Duel Monsters so he must have a bunch of rare and powerful cards at his disposal.

"But my Dark Magician is one of the strongest monsters in the game. Minus Blue Eyes White Dragon" said Yugi

"True," said Pegasus, placing another card down as well. "But how will he fair once I combine my Faceless Mage with my equally rare Eye of Illusion?"

The Illusionist Faceless Mage was a faceless puppet as it appeared onto the field, harnessing golden purple eyes in its hands.(1200/2200)

Yugi called for an attack, and both monsters collided, sending an explosion in smoke and flame, from the attacks knocking into each other.

Once it all cleared, they noticed that no monster was destroyed.

"Your attack had no effect at all," Sora realized,

"That doesn't make any sense," Yugi agreed. This was not right. Could it have something to do with the magic card Pegasus played? "His Faceless Mage should have been destroyed. But he's still standing, and I'm running out of time."

He was right. Five minutes were left on the clock.

'I'm up by three hundred life-points, but only because Pegasus is toying with me. I've got to find a way to beat him at his own Shadow Game.' Yugi thought while glaring at his foe, 'Pegasus knows all kinds of tricks. But I gotta find a way to defeat him. I just have to trust in my grandpa's cards.'

When Yugi finally drew his next card, he hoped for the best. "I attack your combo with the Celtic Guardian!" he said, summoning the monster he just drew. "This mighty warrior will cut your Mage down to size."

An elven warrior dressed up for battle carried a sword in his hand along with the usual soldier face on; of eyes that have seen too much and were dead serious.(1400/1200)

"True, your warrior is mighty," said Pegasus, smirking for the umpteenth time. "But you have once again underestimated the incredible power of my Eye of Illusion!"

"No!"

"Dark Magic Attack!"

A dark ball of black shadow was blasted into the Celtic Guardian, dispersing him into shadows. The boy's eyes widened.

(LP: Yugi: 400/Pegasus: 1200)

"The Illusionist Faceless Mage doesn't have a "Dark Magic Attack"!" said Yugi, his eyes narrowing forward.

It was then they saw him. The Dark Magician appeared from the a golden glowing Millennium Eye on his chest, and his eyes soulless.

"No way..." Kairi whispered, disbelievingly. Mahad was being used against the pharoah. "Yugis best monster" said Kisara.

"He's taken control of my Dark Magician!" Said Yugi.

Pegasus merely smiled, trying to act really innocent and in control, while he set another card face down. "Tick, tock, tick, tock!" he said with delight. "Our time is nearly up and it seems as though I have the highest Life Points. Looks like I win."

He was right. There were only ten seconds left on the clock.

Yugi... he was going to lose.

"There's still time, Pegasus!" he said confidently. Then he quickly drew his next card which was Summoned Skull; a fiend-type monster with high Attack very same card Sora won from Damian earlier.(2500/1200)

"I summon the Summoned Skull! Quickly now, attack the Faceless Mage and end this!"

The skull monster drew in lightning from the shadows.

5...4...3...

It then blasted the attack straight at the Faceless Mage, as quick as he could.

2...1...0.

But he was too late.

Right at zero, all the monsters disappeared.

And Summoned Skull's attack never reached Pegasus' Faceless Mage.

Yugi was discouraged.

They lost...

Pegasus won...

Pegasus clapped his hands, as though he was watching his favorite soccer team score another goal. "That was quite an interesting match, Yugi, I daresay," he said calmly, his smirk still on his face. "Now that I've measured your dueling skills, it's time to make my plan roll into motion."

"Plan?" Sora said. "What plan? What are you scheming?"

Pegasus looked offended. "And why would I tell you that?" he said.

Sora gritted my teeth in anger. He didn't realize it but kingdom Hearts was reacting to his anger.

"No, keeping you here in the Shadow Realm will do me no good," he said. "So, I propose something to you, Yugi-boy. The next time we duel; it'll be for far higher stakes."

"I'm done with your games," said Yugi defiantly, his brows furrowing forward in annoyance with this man.

"You presume I'm giving you a choice in the matter," stated Pegasus matter-of-factly. Suddenly, he moved the curtain of his silver hair away from his left eye to reveal a golden Item with the Millennium Symbol as the eye in its center. "But," he said. "I'm not. Behold, the most powerful Millennium Item out of the seven; the Millennium Eye!"

"A Millennium Eye?" asked the Duelist, disbelievingly.

"So he does have one of the items…the Millenium Eye" thought Sora looking at the item. Kairi looked afraid of the Eye.

"That's right, Yugi-boy. And now I'll show you the true extent of its magic!" Said Pegasus.

Sora and Kairi felt the surge of magical energy he was suddenly pouring into the room, activating his Millennium Eye. The light nearly blinded Yugi and them. He was after one target, and it wasn't Yugi.

It was Mr. Muto.

"You see, I have found that, given the proper incentive, anyone can be made to play my game." Said Pegasus

The light enveloped Mr. Mutou, luring his soul out of his body. He then sailed over everyone's heads and directly into the television screen along with all of Pegasus' evil magic. Static replaced the man's smirking face.

The Keyblade Wielders and Duelists lowered their arms from their eyes just as the light began to pass.

Only to be struck with a horrifying sight.

Mr. Mutou... was on the screen, "Yugi!".

Yugi changed back to normal, leaving a stunned school boy in his place, who began frantically clutching the television screen, "Grandpa!" he yelled.

"Yes, we will duel again, Yugi. How else will you ever reclaim your grandfather's soul?"

The dark magic finally left, including the image of Mr. Mutou. As the shadows departed, the others were free. They were surprised at first, not remembering anything at all, as they saw Yugi pounding on the TV in a feeble hope of freeing, or at least, seeing his grandfather again.

Mr. Mutou's body lay on the floor, motionless.

"Grandpa! Grandpa! Grandpaaaaaa!" Yugi cried.

/end chapter./

Next chapter will be the road to Duelist Kingdom. I'm making Joey a Red Eyes user in this fic instead of him being a Gambling duelist. I hope you like that I included Miho from season zero to the fic and she'll be Tristan's love interest.
