So, I've never written details for a time dome chapter, and I was wondering if anyone would mind helping me write it. I want Azalea and her friends to be in the time dome for 4 weeks, one week equal to one month each. Would anyone mind helping? It's gonna be a crash course in pureblood etiquette, wizarding politics, and wizarding holidays.
Holidays
Imbolc. A sacred day for both Light and Dark. A celebration of life and rebirth. Celebrating the welling up of magic in the crops and babies. Renewal of life, energy, strength. Ritualized purification baths and celebratory bonfires.
Beltane. A ritual for health, fertility, and prosperity. It includes public intercourse but that is optional. On the hand hand, wixen blesses the fields of vassals and pours healing, growing magic into the soil so their crops will prosper and sustain life.
Mabon. Welcomes the Dark. Recognizing that life is a cycle and that Death is a part of Life. Night is as necessary as Day. Winter lets the Earth rest in preparation for the coming Summer. It involves a sacrifice of the willingly offered blood of the participant.
Samhain. The time when the border between the living and dead thins. It's a time to meditate. A time to seek the presence of past loved ones, and feel an echo of that love.
Yule. Light and Dark used to celebrate it. It's a time of feasting and giving. Giving thanks to Magic itself in a burnt offering of meat and grain, not a life. A Yule log that burns for days to symbolize perseverance of life through the cold, dark winter. A gathering of family, friends, and allies to denote that they will be there for each other through the difficult season. A time to acknowledge Magic and how it supports them, and helps them to survive.
