January UC 0090
Haman had been pregnant now for 9 months and was now due anyday now, the 5 (Jorgan, Haman, Aina, Shiro and Norris) had been living their lives as normal as they could, Shiro and Aina had by now managed to find the crash site of both the Gundam Ez8 and the Apsalus Mobile Armour, they managed to haul over what remained of the Ez8 and began rebuilding it with new parts from various destroyed suits to create what Shiro called the Gundam Ez8 Mk 2.
Aina and Shiro had also found an old Hizack which must of been abandoned from the Gryps War after they were defeated , with the help of the Ez8 Mk2, they were able to retrieve it to Jorgan whose Hizack had virtually been disassembled, as for Jorgan he was taking more responsibilities as a result of Haman being more and more pregnant, both of them still came over to Shiro and Aina's every weekend with excitement over the new baby, Shiro and Aina gave Haman and Jorgan all of Norris Amada's old baby clothes as well as Shiro and Aina giving the soon-to-be parents advice on parenting. The Qubeley had also been hastly rebuilt using old Dom parts, however it hadn't been tested which worried Haman in case the Federation finds them.
Meanwhile at Side 1, Lance Heagan's Shadow Squadron was on the brink of collapse, months of failed operations and bad leads such as the Dom pilot had led to the Earth Federation threatening to dissolve the Squadron entirely, Yazan had already requested a transfer to the Knight Jeager Taskforce, Kou wanted to go home to see Nina as he was tired, leaving Jay as the last one fully motivated to support Lance until the end.
Lance was at the hanger bay with Shadow Squadron, knowing very likely this would be their final chance to find Haman or it would be game over for the battalion. Lance would also be deployed in this mission as he wanted to lead the squad personally, they had intel that over the Vietnam area where many suspected Zeon Remnants were rumoured to be.
Lance deployed in his GM III Custom, Yazan and Kou were both given Jeagans and Jay a GM III.
Meanwhile
Jorgan, Shiro and Aina were testing MS, Jorgan in an Hizack, Shiro in his Gundam Ez8 Mk II and Aina in a Zaku Cannon that had been found two days earlier, they had also kept the Qubeley hidden away , Haman now heavily pregnant and due anyday now was told to stay behind and Norris Amada was assigned to inform Aina or Jorgan via walkie talkie if Haman starts going into labor.
As Jorgan was testing his suit, he noticed his radar going off
"Jorgan to Shiro, this suit's radar is telling me that friendlies are nearby" said Jorgan
"That means Federation are nearby, Jorgan, Aina cover your suits in the jungle and wait on my lead as they will confuse you two for Zekes" said Shiro
"Yes Shiro" said both of them as they camouflaged their MS in the jungle.
Shadow Squadron flew by when they saw a Gundam Unit just standing around there.
"A Gundam unit, you don't see them everyday, lets investigate" said Lance as he flew over there as Kou, Yazan and Jay watched.
The GM III Custom landed where the Gundam was
Lance turned on Comms as both used Federation communicators
"Pilot of the Gundam, you seem lost, who are you" said Lance
"I am Shiro Amada, I was a former pilot of the Earth Federation Forces, who are you" said Shiro
"I am Admiral Lance Heagan of the Earth Federation Forces, we are looking for a wanted Zeon fugitive" said Lance
'Jorgan's brother, is he looking for Jorgan' thought Shiro
"Who are you looking for" said Shiro
"We are looking for former Leader of Axis Zeon Haman Karn, any leads on where she is" said Lance
"We haven't seen her around here" said Shiro
"Really, considering she landed in this side of the Earth and we are running out of leads, we have our doubts" said Lance
"Believe me, if I saw her, I would of turned her in" Shiro lied to cover Haman's whereabouts
"Looking at your file on Federation, you apprantly died during the One Year War, how are you possibly here in the first place" said Lance
"Now" said Shiro as a laser came through the forest, hitting the GM III Custom
"Traitor, I knew something was up with you " said Lance as his GM III Custom pulled back with smoke on his arm.
Suddently a Hizack and Zaku Cannon emerged
"I see you brought your Zeke friends with you, Jay, Yazan and Kou, enter attack formation" said Lance
Kou and Jay joined Lance, however Yazan stayed out, realising that he's better off leaving Lance to his own fate as Yazan awaited news of his transfer
The Zaku Cannon tried to get hits on Jay's GM III, but it kept missing and eventually both duelled with each other, Aina being far more experienced than Jay, managed to overpower Jay's suit despite the tech gap and blew Jay and his suit to pieces with the Zakus Cannon.
As for Jorgan and Kou, although Kou's MS was superior, Jorgan was a far better pilot and after much fighting, Jorgan managed to disable Kou's weapons systems with the help of Aina's MS who had just destroyed a GM III, Kou retreated knowing he could watch Shadow Squadron dissolve and he could be with Nina without having Lance breathing down his neck.
This led to just Lance's GM III Custom left, Lance was easily keeping pace with Shiro's ancient Gundam and was able to saw one of the Gundam's Arms off with the GM III the beam saber, however over time Lance was beginning to become outnumbered by both the Hizack and Zaku Cannon.
Lance managed to out skill Aina and almost finished her and her MS off if it wasn't for the Hizack whom had fired at Lance's GM III Custom, Lance chased the Hizack in which they ended up near a mountain.
The GM III Custom fired all its missiles at the Hizack, only for the Hizack to dodge all of them and then ram itself into the GM III Custom, stunning it.
"This pilot, he must be an ace" said Lance
The Hizack then pulled its Beam Saber and so did the GM III Custom, both exchanged blows before Jorgan managed to destroy the head of the GM III Custom, disabling it before both turned their Federation communicators on
"Who are you" said Lance
"I am Jorgan Heagan of the Titans, Elite Division of the Earth Federation Forces" said Jorgan
Lance was slightly shocked, he had been fighting his own brother and not only that, he was fighting for what Lance presumed was Zeon.
"Jorgan, I thought you were dead, why are you defending a bunch of Zekes" said Lance
"Lance is that you and because they took care of me when you Feddies and Titans abandoned me here" said Jorgan
"It is me brother and you were thought to be killed" said Lance
"I wasn't killed and what happened to you" said Jorgan
Lance sighed before saying "Jerid died near the end of the war, I joined the AEUG and fought against both the Titans and later Neo-Zeon, we are looking for a wanted Zeon fugitive named Haman Karn, have you seen her"
"What do you want with her anyway" said Jorgan
"She needs to stand trial for her crimes during the Neo-Zeon Wars Jorgan, She purposely invaded the Federation, incited Zeon terrorists to attack the Federation and dropped a space colony onto Dublin like Operation British" said Lance
Jorgan sighed before saying "Remember what father said to us after he fought the Zeon's during the One Year War"
"No, why is that important" said Lance
"You were too busy partying to remember, he said that he felt bad for the Zekes and that the harsh living conditions in space as well as Federation contempt provoked the Zekes to strike back and become the Fascists that they were, but from what I witnessed Earthnoids and Spacenoids can get along" said Jorgan
"Father would never say a thing like that, your just reading too much Zeon propaganda" said Lance
"Lance, I'm still not a fully fledged Zeke, I don't fully agree with everyone should live on space and colony drops are awful both morally and practically, but you have to take both sides into account and reform the Earth Federation Government" said Jorgan
"Oh Jorgan, how naive of you, the Spacenoids never want peace with the Federation, they want to crush the Federation under a iron fist under the name of their supposed god Zeon Zum Deikun, we tried building and repairing colonies for them back in UC 0083, but Delaz and Gato what did they do, they spat them at Earth and Federation Intelligence found out that Haman and Axis provided them with some support" said Lance
"Wasn't Delaz, the Ghost of Gihren Zabi, anyway surrender your MS, your surrounded, your squad has either died or ditched you and I want the Earth Federation to leave us alone" said Jorgan
Lance reluctantly took off his helmet and said "You win Jorgan, however I can't stay too long as I've got a family waiting for me when I return from duty, ask me one question though"
"What is that" said Jorgan
"Is Haman Karn hiding out with you 3" said Lance
"Yes she is" said Jorgan
"I see, so you lied to protect her, why" said Lance
Suddently a another person's voice went through comms
"Jorgan, Shiro, Aina, this is Norris Amada, I think Haman has just entered into Labor" said Norris as he cut off his comms
"Wait you and Haman are like together" said Lance clearly struggling to comprehend the fact
"Yeah, it looks like I'm about to become a father" said Jorgan
"Congratulations Jorgan, I wish you the best of luck in the future" said Lance
"Thanks, I wish our old friends were here as well" said Jorgan
"Yeah, although I don't think Jerid would of approved of you going out with a Zeke in the first place, but then again Jerid and Kacricorn probably would of made jokes about us feeling old now we are both fathers" said Lance
"Wait your a father Lance" said Jorgan
"Yeah I adopted a Puru clone after the Neo-Zeon War that I have renamed Lyla" said Lance
"Are you still with Jerid's sister" said Jorgan
"Yeah, we got married in UC 0088 after we cleared out a Titans Remnant" said Lance
"Nice, I may need to go, can you not give the Earth Federation our whereabouts" said Jorgan
"I will keep it a secret, Shadow Squadron is virtually finished anyway" said Lance
"Thanks, if you lucky they may move you to a new unit, a better one" said Jorgan
"However I do have one thing both you and Haman should know about though" said Lance
"What is it" said Jorgan
"We have heard rumours that Char Aznable is still alive and rebuilding Neo-Zeon in secret, however we don't know when he will reappear" said Lance
"Ok, Bye Brother, safe trips home" said Jorgan as he headed back to Shiro and Aina's hut
"Goodbye Jorgan" said Lance as he headed back to Side 1, having repaired his MS
Jorgan landed his Hizack near Shiro and Aina's before jumping out of it and running inside before heading upstairs where Haman was lying in bed clearly in labor and trying to push the baby out.
"Ah good Jorgan, you made it in time, we were getting worried" said Aina as she let go of Haman's hand which led to Jorgan to hold it as Haman was going through labor .
Haman's grip was very tight and Jorgan felt like his hand was going to break, but eventually after nearly an hour the baby came out and started crying.
"It's a boy" said Aina as she gave the baby to Haman
Haman hugged the baby tight as she felt for the first time since her regent days (and even then she did use that role for her own ends) a motherly and protective feeling, Haman and Jorgan now had a son, it was too early to truly call who he looked like, but he had the features of both of them.
"What shall we call him" said Jorgan
"I've got a middle name for him, think of a first name" said Haman
"Johnny sounds like a good name" said Jorgan
"Its settled, Johnny Casdau Maharaja Heagan" said Haman
"Johnny Heagan, sounds like a cool name" said Shiro
Later
Lance Heagan returned to Side 1 in his damaged GM III Custom, Shadow Squadron was pretty disbanded after the battle in de facto terms and the trip to Side 1 was a mere formaility before going on a well deserved break.
However Lance found it bizarre when he was called into Brights office, he was expecting another Federation Admiral or a Federation General yelling at him.
"You came to see me, Bright" said Lance
"Admiral, I know you outrank me, but I have an offer for you" said Bright
"What is it" said Lance
"As you know the old AEUG and Karaba folded back into the Federation Forces, In 2 months time my Task Force which is to be named Londo Bell is to be set up and I want you to join as an MS pilot, I know you an admiral and all, but consider this offer" said Bright
"I accept, Shadow Squadron was a bust, but I need to focus more on my own family so I'm going to take a 6 months off to rest and see my family" said Lance
"Take the time off that you need, I can tell by looking at you Lance that your tired like me and there is a lot more pressure on you" said Bright
"Thanks Bright for the opportunity, see you in 6 months time" said Lance as he left the room to get a space shuttle back home.
Later that day Lance along with wife Jane and their adopted daughter Lyla went to an Ice Cream Parlour before catching an Texas Rangers baseball game.
