Abhijeet nodded slightly with: Theek hai phir pohanch wahin, aadhy ghanty tk pohanch raha hoon main bhi… Aur suun, iss baar ager tu ny aadha adhora kaam kia hua hua na tou main ny tujhy wahin ulta latka daina hai, samjha…?
Nandu chuckled sheepishly with: Kya saab, aik baar ho gaya bs… (And completed in the same breath as…) Aur baad mein kaam bhi pura kia tha na main, puri information la k di…

Placing the mobile aside, Abhijeet spreading hands on his face, exhaled deeply and glancing over the closed room door in silence, he soon left towards the kitchen grabbing the food-tray, sidewise opening Daya's room's feed on his mobile…
After getting freed from the kitchen, Abhijeet left towards his own room and soon after getting ready for the Bureau, though was still wearing slippers with socks, he returned in the lounge grabbing both files he had prepared last night and placing them on the dining table, he left towards his younger one's room…
Daya's room…
Abhijeet entered in Daya's room to find him lying there near the wall while cuddling himself, looking in deep sleep… He quietly approached his brother and sitting near him, Abhijeet smoothly shifted him on his back in a comfortable position, as Daya was sleeping on his right side that could give pressure on his injured arm…
Getting satisfied from the younger one's side, Abhijeet looked towards his face and felt a pinch in his heart seeing his red-moisture-covered face as few salty drops were still visible on his eyelashes… Taking out his handkerchief, he caringly wiped off Daya's face and then securing his hand in his', lovingly rubbed his free hand in the younger-one's head and…
Abhijeet whispered to him in sad smile as: Daya, taira Boss bhi tujhy utna hi miss ker raha hai bchcha jitna tu ussy… (Added in dreamy-lost tone as…) Ab na koe mujh sy apni koe zid manwata hai, na baat-bae-baat lrrta hai, na koe aadhi aadhi raat ko bahir khana khany ki, beach py jany ki fermaish kerta hai, aur na hi koe duniya ki sb sy dukhi shakal bnna k deadline sy aik raat pehly apni sari files la k mairy hath mein dy daita hai… (And he chuckled while a salty drop slipped from his eye and he looked towards his brother's face in immense pain with…) Aur main tou vishvas sy keh bhi nahin sakta yar k yeh sb ab kabhi wapis ho bhi paye ga ya nahin… Tu phir sy maira wohi purana masti kerny waly, chhoti chhoti baat py dil khol k hasny wala, khud per vishvas kerny wala aur kisi sy na drrny wala Daya bn bhi paye ga kya kabhi Daya…? And freeing Daya's hand sidewise giving an assuring pressure on his upper-arm, Abhijeet stood up and soon left the room, closing the room door behind…
Lounge…
Coming in the lounge, he gave himself few moments to compose himself completely and then leaving towards the dining-table, grabbed his mobile from there, to book a cab for a chawl as he was not feeling like driving today because of not being sure if he would be able to concentrate on the driving or not… When seeing the cab was just few minutes away, placing the mobile there on the table he left towards his own room and soon returned, wearing joggers now…
After checking all the locks of the home Abhijeet returned in the lounge to listen his mobile beeped and grabbing his mobile he checked it to find the notification of the cab-arrival there, hence grabbing both the files and home's keychain, he finally left the home the same minute, locking the main door on his back…
In the Cab…
Now sitting on the backseat of the car, thinking as his try to divert his mind, Abhijeet opened the file to proofread it as that's the only reason he took the backseat at the first place because he couldn't take a chance of the cab's driver gaze falling on the contents of the files…
For around a whole minute, Abhijeet kept struggling to concentrate on the contents of the file, subconsciously already knowing that it wasn't needed because he had already proofread it at night hence eventually he closed the file again… Placing both the files in his lap, he quietly opened Daya's room feed on his mobile and a silent smile formed on his face seeing him sleeping there, looking calm…
Inhaling deeply, Abhijeet closing his mobile screen, placed his both hands in his lap on the files and smoothly rested his head on the headrest, closing his eyes in silence soon going to the time where…
CITY Hospital…
ICU Room…
Abhijeet was now sitting beside his brother's bed while silently weaving in his head as few minutes back he got freed from giving sponge-bath to Daya to clean the blood from his body and had changed him in fresh hospital uniform which Sunil had provided him with, after requesting from a ward-boy, before going to meet Dr. Tervadi…
And Abhijeet's thoughts got interrupted listening to a soft door knock and knowing who must be there…
Abhijeet turning towards the room door, said in composed tone as: Aa jao Sunil, drwaza bolt nahin hai ab…
Sunil entering in the room while closing the room door behind, left towards him with: Woh mujhy lgga check ker lun tum free ho gaye ho ya nahin…
Abhijeet nodded silently with: Hmm, I know… (And waiting for few moments while clearing feeling that Sunil was avoiding looking at him, Abhijeet called him quietly as…) Sunil…!
Sunil knowing already what the latter wanted from to know from him, glancing over him, forwarded the file he was grabbing towards the latter with: Yeh Daya ki blood reports hain… (And seeing the latter was not interested in grabbing it but was silently looking at him, inhaling deeply Sunil looked towards him with…) Tum ny jo ACP sir sy kaha tha, tumhara shak theek tha Abhijeet… (A shadow of pain passed Abhijeet's face while Sunil looked towards the file again just to avoid that silent-injured gaze on himself with…) Daya ki blood report mein easi drugs k traces mily hain jo seedha dimagh per asr kerti hain aur memory per bhi, js k karen iss ki recent memories py effect hua hai aur shaid issy recent koe memory yaad nahin, yeh iss samey ussi farmhouse k andheron mein ghirra hua hai… (Taking a momentary pause, added in complete quiet tone as…) Jaan boujh ker, puri koshish ker k iss ki mansik stithi bigari gae hai Abhijeet aur…
Abhijeet, who was now looking at his brother's face, cut him in silent tone as: Theek ho jaye ga kya yeh…?
Sunil, getting silent for a moment, replied in encouraging-composed tone as: Kyun nahin ho ga theek, hmm…? Aur phir jb tk tumhara bhai theek nahin ho jata, tum shanti sy thori baithny doo gy kisi ko, aur na hi khud baitho gy shanti sy…
Abhijeet nodded quietly in reply and then turned towards him in silence with: Sunil tum aaj half-day ly sakty ho kya please…?
Sunil replied him softly as: Maira aaj off hai Abhijeet… (Knowing Abhijeet's mind was completely preoccupied, he reminded him gently as…) Conference thi na aaj doctors ki, iss liye off lia tha aaj…
Abhijeet nodded silently in reply and stood up with: Tum yahan iss k sath baitho phir, main ghanty doo tk aata hoon…
Sunil, who was already standing now, asked him in worried-confusion as: Tum easey kahan ja rahy ho Abhijeet…?
Abhijeet replied him quietly as: Kuchh sawalon k jawab jan'nany jo k tumhien iss k elaj mein mddad dy paien gy… (Looked straight in his eyes, added in same quiet tone as…) Kyun k tumhari khamoshi ny mujhy samjha dia hai k Daya k treatment mein tumhien hr qisem ki help chahiye ho gi… (Sunil getting quiet had turned his gaze away while Abhijeet had also turned his gaze towards his brother again with…) Tum iss k sath hi rehna please, akely nahin chhorna issy, pehly hi…
And he stopped there in hurt when moving near his younger one, he smoothly bowed over his face and stamped a soft kiss on his forehead over the bandage while a silent drop slipped from his eye, getting absorbed in his younger one's bandage…
Moving back while roughly wiping off his eye, he turned to leave towards the door but stopped with Sunil grabbing his arm and…
Abhijeet glancing over his arm looked towards Sunil while trying in composed tone as: Main theek hoon Sunil, don't worry…
Sunil silently shook his head replying calmly as: Nahin Abhijeet tum theek nahin ho aur na hi iss samey tum theek ho sakty ho… (Abhijeet was looking everywhere but at him while he added as…) Daya ki yeh condition tumhari wajah sy nahin hai Abhijeet… (Abhijeet looked at him in extreme pain holding moisture in his eyes while Sunil tightly grabbing him with his both upper-arms, looked deep in his eyes with…) Iss ko case file kerny k liye convince kerna tumhari zid nahin, iss k liye tumhari perwah thi… Aur tumhien kya lagta hai, ager tum na kehty kuchh tou kya sach jan'nny k baad ACP sir aaram sy baith jaty…? Main khamosh reh laita…? Salunkhy sir, Freddy, tumhari team, koe kuchh na kehta kya…? Aur sb sy berh k, Daya khud jee laita kya uss tarhan sy, haan…? Composing himself, Abhijeet nodded to him and soon left the cab after paying the fare… Standing on the sidewalk, he looked around in search for his informer when the mobile in his hand rang and looking at the caller ID to find Nandu's number flashing there, he attended the call and soon left towards a narrow street, opposite to a Chawl…

Around 09:45 am Abhijeet entered in the Bureau hall to find the other team members already present there who seeing him coming, wished him morning and after replying them…
Abhijeet turned towards Freddy with: Sir aa gaye…?
Freddy slightly shook his head with: Nahin sir, sir dus bjjy tk aaien gy… (Glancing over the wall-clock, completed as…) Aaty hoon gy bs…
Abhijeet nodding him slightly, left towards his desk, soon getting busy in his work…
Around 10:00, seeing ACP sir coming, all officers present there wished him morning and after replying them…
ACP sir turned towards Abhijeet with: Abhijeet, kya khaber hai Chawl ki…? Kuchh ptta chala…?

As everyone in the Bureau and outside, who knew DUO's bonding and their friendship knew that Abhijeet must had the knowledge of Daya's current location that's why the other day, the news journalist had also taunted him about it… Because Abhijeet knowing Daya's location was like an open-secret, and him knowing his brother's whereabouts was one thing, but someone digging that out of him was a whole different story…
And that's why ACP sir had asked him about Daya without any hesitation in front of Sachin because of having the idea that Sachin too was an intelligence officer and hence must had the idea that Abhijeet knew where Daya was and it was his indirect indication too, that he trust Sachin enough to discuss about Daya with Abhijeet in front of him and now it's onto him either to make or break that trust…
