CHAPTER TWO - Her shower incident/The missing ships and submarine
Monday 17th June 2013, Chamberlain, Maine
At Ewen High School at the Girls Pool
It was almost the end of another day at Ewen High. Everyone was about to begin their final classes of the day. English, Writing, Math, Science, History, Health, Gym.
Speaking of Gym, the final class for Gym was about to begin and Carrie White was part of this class.
Carrie White, in a black swimsuit, was walking inside the girls pool room while holding her towel tightly feeling nervous. She avoided looking at anyone around her as they passed by her.
Though Carrie did managed to see some of the girls preparing for the upcoming class that was about to start. They were gonna play volleyball.
Carrie was not that much of a sports person since she never got the chance to practice or get to know some sports because of her religious mother. Margaret would never let her since she thought it was a sin.
Then Carrie saw them. The group that would find her an easy target and bully her whenever they got the chance.
The Ultra's. Popular, rich, and beautiful girls who always feel like they were powerful and above everyone else in the school, maybe even the whole town itself. They had the entire school with an iron fist. The girls in the group were Sue Snell, Jessica Upshaw, Anissa Chen, Rachel Spies, Heather Shyers, Nicki and Lizzy Waston, and Tina Blake.
But there was one girl within that was the worst of them all. The one that basically made it her own personal mission to make Carrie's life a living hell.
Her name was Christine Hargensen, the leader of the Ultras and Carrie's number one enemy. The girl who hated Carrie the most.
Even if she wasn't with the rest of the Ultra's, Christine would somehow always find a way to bully her, laugh at her, torment her, call her names or use cruel words at her, or even sometimes physically harm her. In class, at lunch, in the hallways, out in front of the school, even anywhere else in town if they ever crossed paths. She would somehow find a way to ruin Carrie's day.
The worst part is no one is able to stop Christine. Some people have tried in the past by telling a teacher or the principal about it. The school would actually do something and suspend Christine from the school. It would work, it would stop the bullying for some time. Only, they have done it several times already.
Why several times? Because of her dad who is a lawyer. John Hargensen.
Whenever Christine would get suspended, her dad would come to her recuse and talk and tell the school officials to immediately let her daughter back at school or he would sue the school and he would file a lawsuit. That of course got the school officials scared and would immediately unsuspend Christine so there wouldn't be any trouble. Ever since then Christine would feel powerful and wouldn't fear anything if she did anything wrong thus causing her to do anything she wants. Thus means she would bully a lot of people who she thought weren't like her or like the boys she knows.
One of those people is Carrie White. And it's her who Christine bullies the worst to.
Carrie watches as the Ultras walk together in their red and blue swimsuits, laughing to each other.
Sue is then approached by her boyfriend, Tommy Ross. Sue smiled as Tommy Ross embraced her in a hug while both of them were laughing. The rest of the Ultras left them alone as the two of them began to kiss.
"Sue and Tommy Ross come on." Miss Desjardin said somewhere from the girls pool room.
Tommy stops kissing Sue and pulls back as she walks to the Ultras and together walk to the pool.
Tommy was about to walk away, but then sees Carrie standing and smiles to her.
Carrie was surprised seeing this but smiles back at him while the other girls are running to the pool.
Although that smile vanished as she thought of something.
It felt weird and strange to her seeing everything was fine and normal and everyone was happy and laughing after what happened to her the previous night were everything was on fire and heard screams of terror, which she doesn't want to think about.
Carrie is broken out of her thoughts when she hears Miss Desjardin blow her whistle, "Lets go ladies, in the water, caps on please!"
Carrie puts her towel aside and puts her cap on.
"Chris and Sue lets go!" Miss Desjardin said loudly.
Carrie also walks to the pool and gets in the water. Or at least gets in somewhat into the water, she decides to stand in a corner. She watched everyone play volleyball.
Meanwhile at an unknown ocean
In the middle of an ocean, there was a cargo ship on its way to the US to deliver its goods and supplies. Everyone on board was working on something, either at the control panel, checking the engines, checking out for any potential threats in the sea, checking the cargos are fine and nothing was missing, filling out paperwork, etc.
A worker on the ship was walking to a man was the boss.
"Hey boss, just came to tell you that everything is in order and nothing is wrong with the cargos." the worker said.
"Good, glad to hear that." The boss said a pleasure tone.
"When do we expect to arrive to the US?" The worker asked.
"Mmmm I don't think we're that far from the US, we may arrive by tomorrow afternoon. As long as there's no storms around." The boss replied.
The worker only smiled with happiness finally hearing that they will soon be done and go back home to get a good long rest after the hard work he has been through.
Suddenly the whole cargo ship shook. Like if something heavy hit it. Everyone on board fell down upon the impact.
"What the hell was that?!" The boss asked loudly in confusion.
"I don't know." The worker replied in a worried voice.
The cargo ship shook again this time more violently. A lot of the cargos began to fly and fall off board. Tons of people began to fall overboard and fell into the water as the whole ship kept shaking. The ones who didn't know how to swim drowned intently.
Inside the engine rooms they began to flood which cause the people who were inside to intently drown to their deaths.
The boss who was still somehow on board picked up his radio and screamed to the captain.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" The boss screamed through the radio.
"I don't know, I can't see anything out of the ordinary from up here!" The captain responded back in a panic tone.
"WELL THEN KEEPING LOOKING AROUND! TRY TO FIND OUT WHATS SHAKING THE SHI-" The boss tried to scream but failed to finish as the cargo ship shook so violently it began to sink into the ocean.
The cargo was tilting to its side. Almost everyone who was on board fell into the water, most of them drowning. The lucky ones who were still alive and knew how to swim were immunity crushed by the cargos that started falling off the ship.
Everyone who was still on board the cargo ship held on for dear life including the boss and the captain.
Then in the distance the boss saw something in the water.
There was something huge swimming towards them at a fast speed.
Something that had huge spines.
"Captain….. are you seeing what I am seeing…..?" He said in a shock voice.
"What….. is that?" The Captain said also in shock voice as spines were drawing closer to the cargo ship.
The last thing the boss, captain, and everyone else on board saw was the gigantic spines slamming into the cargo ship causing it to explode as everyone on board screamed in fear and pain as they met their fate.
Back at the Ewen High School
It's been some minutes and Carrie is still standing in the corner not wanting to be involved in the game while still watching. She saw that Sue's and Chris's team were doing well. Chris scored a point, making Sue give her a high five.
"I want you to keep it in the air three times. All right?" Miss Desjardin said loudly.
The two sides kept the ball high up in the air trying to score.
Eventually Sue hit the ball and it managed to go back to the other side, scoring.
Chris and Sue shared a high five again.
"We are graduating, Ms Desjardin." Chris said excitedly.
Chris passed the ball to Sue as Sue managed to hit it.
"Yeah Sue!" Chris said.
The ball landed on the other side scoring another point for Chris's team.
"Don't be afraid of the ball ladies." Miss Desjardin said.
Chris and Sue sway with each other excitedly in the water.
A girl from the other team hit the ball hard over the net and it landed right in front of Carrie.
Carrie looked a little taken aback by this and seem a bit lost on what to do next, her shyness preventing her from acting. The rest of the girls were watching her, waiting for her to serve.
"Alright Carrie White. Get Carrie in the game." Miss Desjardin said.
Carrie slowly grabs the ball.
"You can't stand at the sideline all the time." Miss Desjardin said to Carrie while looking at her.
Some girls began to either cheer for her for real or just faking it. Which Carrie thought they were faking it.
Chris looked at Carrie with a cruel smile.
"Carrie serve." Miss Desjardin said.
Carrie walks further into the pool with the ball in her hands.
Some more girls continued fake cheering for her and telling her to serve the ball and that she can do it.
After a few seconds, Carrie throws the ball up and slaps it. Though the ball ends up hitting Sue Snells head.
Chris and the other girls look surprised for a moment before they all smile a little and they begin to laugh to each other.
Chris walks to Sue still laughing. She places her hands on her shoulders.
"Hahaha! That's so funny Chris." Sue said also laughing with her.
Everyone continues laughing and Carrie doesn't seem so scared anymore and even smiles a little happy that for once the other girls are laughing with her instead of at her.
Or thats what she thought.
"You eat shit." Chris casually says and throws the ball to Carrie.
The other girls stopped laughing and looked at Carrie again and begin to make fun of her causing Carries smile to faint.
The gym class ended and everyone was getting out of the pool to go to the shower room.
As they were getting out, every girl (minus Sue), including Heather, Tina, and Chris were laughing at her.
Carries smile was now completely gone and she looked to the ground.
In the shower room
Everyone was getting washed and getting dressed to finish for the day. Everyone was talking about their plans for the day or just having a random conversation.
Sue and Chris walked by, heading to the lockers to get dressed after taking a shower.
After they passed by, Carrie with a towel slowly walk to the furtherest part of the shower room. Away from everyone so no one could see her and would bother her.
She arrived and turned on the shower, allowing the water to run down her body. She used her two hands to wash her long hair slowly. Then she used a bar of soap to wash her entire body.
While washing herself with the bar of soap, she started washing her legs with the soap.
Though when she looked down, she panicked and dropped the bar of soap as it fell to the floor with blood. From her first period.
When she lifted her hands and saw the blood, her eyes widen in fear and was on the verge of a massive panic attack since she didn't know what a period is.
Carrie then screamed "HELP!"
Many girls, including all the Ultras sightly jumped and looked around to find the source of the scream.
It didn't take long as the source of the scream came running down the lockers, begging them to help her and that she was bleeding to death.
Meanwhile at an unknown ocean
There was a fishing vessel in the middle of the ocean. It was driven from the mainland by a group of people who came to work today.
There were many people trying to catch some fish or any other aquatic animal they could find but so far none.
In fact by looking around the ocean, it seem like there was wasn't a single fish or other underwater animal close by. It been a couple hours and they haven't found nothing yet.
"Have you guys found anything yet" the boss said.
"Nope, not a single fish or any other underwater animal. Don't you find it strange, it's been hours already." a worker said.
"Yea it is very strange" the boss said in a suspicious tone.
Suddenly the fishing vessel shook violently making everyone fall to the floor. Some workers who were on the edge fell overboard into the water.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" the boss screamed.
"I don't know" the worker said loudly.
The boss grabbed his radio and screamed into it "CAPTAIN WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!"
"I DON"T KNOW, I DON"T SEE ANYTHING FROM UP HE-" the captain was screaming but was cut off by the vessel getting hit violently and then sounded like it was slashed by something.
The vessel started to sink down as people kept falling overboard into the water. Those that didn't know to swim drowned while the others that were still floating were screaming for help.
Those that were still on board screamed and held on for dear life as the vessel continued sinking down. Eventually the entire vessel sinked into the ocean, leaving the people on abroad floating while the people that were still inside the vessel sank deeper into the ocean.
The people still floating including the boss were screaming for help, hoping someone were hear them. Though from their view, there was not a single other ship in site.
Then they all saw something rising from the water. Something big. Something that wasn't the vessel.
Huge spines rose from the water. Spines that were connected to a creature.
Something that was alive.
Then the creatures head rose from the water, revealing his face.
Everyone eyes went wide with shock and fear seeing his face. Seeing his face gave everyone floating a feeling of terror they have haven't felt before. His face looked dino-like, like something from the Triassic or Jurassic period.
"What….. is that?" the boss said in terrified voice.
Then the creature opened its mouth and ate someone that was floating.
With that everyone broke out of their frozen trance and began to swim as fast as they could away from the creature while screaming in terror.
The boss decided not to swim with his workers and swam in a different direction.
The group of workers were trying to desperately swim away from the creature, scared for their lives. The creature was chasing them, like a predator chasing its prey, was catching up to them.
As it catches up, one by one, the people were eaten by the creature as they all let out their last screams before meeting their fates.
The boss who somehow saw everything tried to swim even faster, fearful for his life as the creature started swimming towards him. No matter how fast the boss swam, he didn't get too far before the creatures head rose and ate him.
Back at the shower lockers room
After Chris and the rest of the girls in the room figured out what was happening to Carrie, they all began to laugh, mock, and chant at her "Plug it up".
They grabbed a ton of Tampons and began throwing them at Carrie.
Carrie having no idea what was happening to her and scared everyone was laughing at her backed into the showers. Chris was recording the whole thing.
"Plug. It. Up." Chris said in an evil tone with an evil smile.
Sue stops throwing tampons and looks sad and a bit sorry at Carrie.
Carrie still begs and lies on the floor with her towel still on and is now crying.
A few seconds later, Miss Desjardin barged into the lockers room after hearing the commotion from outside.
"Move! Come on move! Ladies what's going on?" Miss Desjardin called out, moving in between the girls and saw Carrie on the floor with a blood-soaked towel, crying and screaming in fright. "Oh my god. All right, okay honey. Stand up. Let's get you cleaned up."
Carrie kept screaming for help and kept saying she was dying while Miss Desjardin tried to calm her down.
"Carrie move on. Honey stand up. Come on honey can you stand up?" Miss Desjardin said.
Sue along with the Ultra's and other girls look at Carrie and Miss Desjardin differently this time. They don't laugh anymore.
"It hurts, it hurts! Something is not right!" Carrie said looking at her gym teacher.
"What are you talking about?" Miss Desjardin asked.
Sue walked to them. "Miss Desjardin I think she does not know what a period is."
"Suze, Suze get out of here." Miss Desjardin said loudly to her making Sue back away.
At one point while Carrie kept on screaming, The pads and tampons that were around her on the floor start to move away from her. Without anyone touching them.
Miss Desjardin still kept trying to calm her down, but when she still didn't, Miss Desjardin slapped her, making Carrie snap out of her panic attack.
Everyone, even the Ultras, gasp when they saw that.
"Everyone get out! NOW! OUT!" Miss Desjardin shouted at the girls
One by one, all the girls left the lockers room while looking at both of them.
Miss Desjardin, who now regretted slapping her, hugged Carrie, telling her that they are gone, that it's normal what she was going through, and everything is gonna be okay.
While Miss Desjardin is comforting Carrie a lamp breaks.
Miss Desjardin, Carrie, and the other girls look at it with slight confusion and fright.
At the principals office
After Miss Desjardin helped Carrie get clean up, they walked to the principals office so they can discuss with the principal what happened today.
Carrie looked….. heavily traumatized after what she just went through today. She's never felt like this before, this scared. Usually she doesn't bother when someone bullys her in some way or form since its just name calling, pushing, or tripping and she's used to it.
But this….. this is on a whole new level for her. She's never felt so humiliated in her life. She didn't think her classmates could be this cruel with her. She felt so….. sad and weak. She wanted to cry and scream so loudly. She wanted it to ended it all but couldn't.
At that moment she thought about the dream from last night, about how that creature killed and wiped out everyone and everything. This entire town. The town that tormented her for her whole life. For a moment she felt grateful and happy the creature killed everything, for him to get rid of the bullies. She wanted nothing more than everyone who made her life a living hell gone, wiped off the face of the earth. But then Carrie rethought what she was thinking and felt ashamed of herself. It wasn't their fault she didn't know what a period is. Sure, they were so cruel to her, but it was her fault to not know what a period is. It was her fault to not learn how to be a normal girl. She has change the way she is. And it needs to be now.
And she needed to completely forget about that nightmare from last night.
Carrie, Miss Desjardin and the Principal walked into the office.
"Are you feeling any better?" Principal Morton asked Carrie who was now dressed.
"Can I get you any aspirin, or maybe some juice or something?" Principal Morton asked Carrie.
Principal Morton lightly tapped Carries back causing her to jump.
"Juice, Really Henry?" Miss Desjardin asked in disbelief and looks at him.
"Maybe you just want us to leave you alone." Principal Morton said.
Carrie sat down on one of the chairs.
"Carrie, honey, I am so sorry that I slapped you, I should have handled it better…" Miss Desjardin apologized.
"Its totally normal for young girls to get their periods. It usually actually happens a little bit earlier. Is this your first time?" Miss Desjardin explained.
Principal Morton looked really uncomfortable hearing this topic that was mostly for women and walked to get a cup of water from the water cooler.
Miss Desjardin sat down next to Carrie.
"Honey do you understand what is happening to your body? Do you know what it means?"
"What?" Carrie said looking a little lost for a moment before regaining herself and said "I don't know. I felt something moving down there."
"Oh honey." Miss Desjardin said feeling bad Carrie didn't know.
"Whoa, maybe you could, uh, talk to a counselor about that? Or or or a nurse." Principal Morton said causing Miss Desjardin to make a face.
"Um, what I need to know is who started throwing… things." Principal Morton asked.
"It was Chris Hargensen and all her friends." Miss Desjardin responded.
"Cassie-" Principal Morton said mistakenly.
"Carrie." Miss Desjardin corrected him.
"Carrie did Chris Hargensen start this?" Principal Morton asked.
"Honey, you don't have to protect them. What they did was unforgivable." Miss Desjardin said Carrie.
Carrie did not respond.
"Okay, uh… it doesn't seem that Carrie is going to point the finger, so Miss Desjardin, I need you to get to the bottom of this. Let the punishment fit the crime." Principal Morton said seeing Carrie wasn't gonna explain what happened.
"Okay" Miss Desjardin said to Morton before looking back at Carrie.
"Carrie you're excused from PE class for the rest of the week. Just take study hall okay. At the library." Miss Desjardin told Carrie.
"Yeah, we're gonna have to call your mom." Principal Morton said.
This caused Carrie to look up at Principal Morton as she was now scared hearing that.
"What?" Carrie asked with slight fear.
She did not want her momma to get involved with this. She would beat her up if she knew what happened today.
"We're gonna have to call your mother." Principal Morton repeated himself.
Carrie was in deep thoughts. If they called her mother, she would get in big trouble with her thinking what happened to her was sin and lock her up in the prayers closet. She did not realize bubbles were forming inside the water cooler.
"I know she's had problems with us in the past, ever since the state stopped her from homeschooling you anymore, but we've got to bring her into this, okay?" Principal Morton said.
"No." Carrie said immediately.
"Sweetie, we have no choice. We have to tell your mother." Miss Desjardin said.
"No!" Carrie said loudly.
The water cooler shatters, scaring Miss Desjardin and the Principal.
Carrie got up and ran out of the office, not wanting to be in there anymore.
"Carrie" Miss Desjardin tried calling to her.
Carrie went outside and sat down on a bench, waiting for her mother to arrive, which she didn't want but was already called to the school. This has been so far the worst day ever for her at school. Nothing has gone well today.
"Hey, Hey you." a boy said that was sitting next to her.
Carrie turned to her side to look at them, only for them to make sexual gestures. Carrie turned away from them in disgust and closed her eyes. When Carrie opened them again, Margaret was standing in front of her.
Margaret took her daughter and were both walking out of the school. Margaret drags Carrie to the car, all the while Miss Desjardin was watching them with suspicious from the entrance of the school.
Carrie hears the voices of the Ultras and turns around to the source of the voices. She saw all of the girls (except Sue), including Chris's boyfriend Billy Nolan with Chris, watching something on Chris phone and were laughing about it, most likely the video she recorded at the lockers room.
Margaret got inside the car with Carrie and began to drive away.
Margaret and Carrie sat in silence as they were on their way home. Carrie then looks at her mother.
"I'm sorry you had to come to school today, mom." Carrie said.
Margaret looks at Carrie and doesn't say anything but takes Carries hand with hers. A few seconds later, they arrive to their house.
They wait for a few seconds before Margaret spoke "Let's go inside little girl. You need to come inside with me."
"Mama, why didn't you tell me? I was so scared, mama. I thought I was going to die. Mama they laughed at me and they threw things at me." Carrie tried to explain to her mother.
Margaret steps out of the car and looks at Carrie, "We'll talk about this inside, Carrie." Then she shuts the car door and starts walking to the house.
Carrie not happy her mother won't listen stepped out of the car too and said "No!"
Margaret turns around.
"I want to talk about it right here. I don't… I don't want to go inside with you." Carrie said in a sightly scared voice.
Margaret looks at her daughter with disgust and loathing before she turns around and walks inside the house.
Carrie shrank down when her mother looked at her like that and got inside the car again for a moment, thinking about everything she's been through recently. No matter how hard she tries to make someone listen to her they never did. Not even her mother. She had absolutely no one to turn to. And it hurt Carrie so much.
Suddenly Carrie hears a loud bang on the drivers window.
She looks at that direction and sees a boy on his bike. A boy she has seen so many times before. Tommy Erbert.
"Crazy Carrie, Crazy Carrie!" Tommy Erbert said making fun of her.
He puts his face to the window and makes snorts.
"Crazy Carrie, Crazy Carrie." Tommy Erbert kept repeating.
Having enough from the horrible day she's already been through, Carrie looks at the boy with anger. Suddenly he falls with his bike, like if an invisible force pushed him over. Tommy Erbert now looked at Carrie with a scared look before getting on his bike and peddling away from her as fast as he could.
Carrie looked surprised, shocked, and a little scared about what she just saw. She looked up at the trees as they moved with the winds and the sun.
After a few seconds, Carrie opened the car door again and stepped out, closing it behind her. She walks inside the house.
As she walks into the kitchen room she hears a sound coming from upstairs. Carrie starts walking up the stairs as the sounds get louder. When she found the room were the sounds were coming from she opens the door and finds her mother hitting her head against the wall.
"Oh god, help my child. She is lost." Margaret said.
"Mama, stop it." Carrie said to her mother trying to make her stop.
When she didn't listen and kept banging her head against the wall, Carrie said much more loudly "Mama!"
Margaret finally stops banging her head and looks at Carrie.
"I don't want to upset you." Carrie said.
"So you're a woman… And god made Eve from the rib of Adam; And what, Carrie? Say it." Margaret told Carrie.
"No Mama." Carrie said.
"Say it." Margaret said again.
"Talk to me." Carrie said again.
"Say it." Margaret said again.
"Please just talk to me." Carrie said again.
"And Eve was weak." Margaret said.
"I just want you to talk to me." Carrie tried to tell her mother.
"And the first sin was the sin of intercourse." Margaret kept talking.
"And the first sin was the sin of intercourse. Why didn't you just… why didn't you tell me, Mama?" Carrie keeps trying to tell her mother.
"And god visited Eve with a curse. And the curse was a curse of blood." Margaret tried to make Carrie say.
"I"m not gonna say that. Thats not even in the Bible. It doesn't say that anywhere." Carrie said to her mother in disbelief.
Margaret got to her knees and continued "Help this little girl see the sin of her days and ways. Show her that if she had remained innocent, the curse of blood would not have come upon her as it did on Eve."
Carrie stared at her in disbelief and said "I'm not Eve mama. I didn't sin."
"You showered with those other girls. You had lust-filled thoughts." Margaret said.
"Everyone has to shower mama. Everyone. Thats just the rules." Carrie tries to explain.
"No, you must be different, because he can see you." Margaret said.
"I don't want to be different mama. I want to be like them." Carrie said.
"He can smell the sin on you." Margaret said
"I want to be JUST like them." Carrie said a little louder.
"And he will punish you." Margaret said angrily hitting Carrie with the Bible in the face. Hard.
Carrie fell to ground feeling really dizzy and a bit lost on what just happened. Margaret crouched down to her.
"I will not let that come down upon you. I will not. Lord have mercy." Margaret said.
"No, the Lord is good. His unfailing love endures forever and his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalms 100, verse 5." Carrie said remembering from the Bible.
"I'm going to keep you away from that school." Margaret said.
"You can't." Carrie said now panicking as she left the room and speed walked downstairs. Margaret following behind her.
"We'll pray. We'll pray together. To save our women-weak, wicked, sinning souls." Margaret said.
Carrie looked at her "You didn't tell me and they laughed."
Margaret stops walking and looks at Carrie.
"I didn't sin, you sinned." Carrie said with a bit more confident.
"I did not. I did not sin." Margaret said in a cold voice and gives a disgust look at Carrie. Carrie looks at her mother with fear, realizing she may have just made a mistake.
Margaret opens the door below the stairs.
"Go to your closet." Margaret said.
Carrie starts shaking her head fearfully, her fear spiking as she saw the inside of the closet room. The room were sometimes she would see those horrible images and sculptures for hours.
"No mama." Carrie said fearfully.
"Go to your closet and pray." Margaret said again.
Carrie kept shaking her head as she looked inside seeing that cross that scared her so much. She began to back away.
"You pray." Margaret said walking to Carrie.
"No." Carrie said backing away.
Margaret grabs Carrie and starts dragging her to the closet.
"No. No! No! Get off me… mama, stop it!" Carrie said loudly.
"Go to your closet and pray for forgiveness." Margaret said.
"No!" Carrie said trying to get out of her mother grasps.
"You pray." Margaret said.
"Mama! Help! No, mommy!" Carrie said
"Come on." Margaret said.
"Please! Help!" Carrie said begged.
Margaret throws Carrie in the closet and closes it before Carrie could try to get out.
"Mommy, let me go! Let me out! Mom!" Carrie screamed.
Margaret pulled her sleeve "HELP!" to reveal she had many marks on her wrist "HELP!" due to the amount of times she has hurt herself.
"HELP!" Carrie screamed desperately.
"GOD YOU SUCK!" Carrie screamed at her mother with so much anger.
Suddenly a thin line appears in the door of the closet making Margaret and Carrie back away in fright.
Margaret looks above her and starts praying. Carrie now locked inside the closet looks around her and her eyes land on the Jesus figure. Carrie starts to pray but then the Jesus figure starts to bleed. Carrie tries again to pray, but she stops and starts crying.
Meanwhile at an unknown ocean
There was a cruise ship that sailing in the middle of the ocean. There were so many people on board having fun or just relaxing. Either taking a tan, going to the water slides, drinking at bars, eating at restaurants, talking to each other, or just enjoying the view.
In the Captains room, the Captain himself and his fellow co workers were checking the ocean in front of them as the Captain was driving.
"So what do you think of the view Captain?" A coworker asked him.
"I think it looks beautiful, just look around, nothing but ocean around us." The Captain said in a somewhat sarcastic voice.
Everyone starts laughing with each other.
"So how long do you think we'll be on this cruise for?" A coworker asked.
"Eh, probably for another couple hours. Why you ask?" The Captain answered.
"Oh come on it's just it's been hours of me just doing nothing and I am bored." The coworker said.
"Yea it sucks we are just watching everyone from here have fun while we are force to just drive the ship only" Another coworker said.
"Yea I know its sucks but it's unfortunately our job. We got a beautiful view from up here at least." The Captain tried to explain.
The coworkers groaned in annoyance but nodded about the view they had at least.
Then the ship shook violently knocking everyone to the ground and those near the edge fell overboard.
"What was that!" The Captain said loudly.
"I don't know!" A coworker said.
The people on bored the ship looked to the ocean in confusion. They were all muttering questions on what was going on and what caused the ship to shake.
Then the ship shook again causing to fall to the ground again. Some people started screaming in fright as they had no ides what was hitting the ship.
"Can anyone see anything in the ocean?" The Captain asked loudly.
"No!" All the coworkers said at the same time.
The ship shook again so violently more people went flying off bored. Everyone was now screaming in fear having absolutely no idea what was happening. They couldn't see the source that was hitting the ship yet it was still being hit by something.
Then everything just stopped. The ship was no longer being hit.
"Is it over?" a coworker said.
"Did we pass whatever we were hitting?" another coworker said.
"Why did it stop?" another coworker said.
The Captain kept looking around. Even though whatever was hitting the ship had stopped, he felt it wasn't over yet and that they weren't safe yet.
A minute passed by with nothing happening. It was quiet.
Until…..
Suddenly out of nowhere something huge jumped out of the ocean and was flying or making its way towards the cruise ship. Everyone then saw it was a gigantic unknown creature with huge spines on its back. A lot of were frozen with shock, not believing what they were seeing. Some people were screaming in fear as they tried to run somewhere safe. But it didn't matter. It didn't matter to anyone because in an instant, the creature crashed into the cruise ship, making it explode. It created a gigantic fireball into the sky. Everyone who was on board was killed in an instant.
Back at Carrie's house
In the living room, Margaret was sewing some clothes while singing a song from a radio she had.
"Brightly beams out Father's mercy. From his Lighthouse evermore. But to us he gives the keeping of the lights along the shore. Let the lower lights be burning." Margaret sang before turning off the radio and stopped sewing.
She walked to the prayers closet and opens the door. It's been a couple hours since she locked Carrie in the closet. Since the afternoon and now it was night time. She finds Carrie laying on the ground and was sleeping. Margaret shakes Carrie a little and she wakes up.
"Did you finish you're prayers little girl?" Margaret asked.
Carrie looks at Margaret looking so submissive.
"Yes momma" Carrie said with a defeated voice. Margaret places a kiss on Carrie's head.
"Thats my girl" Margaret said.
"I love you" Margaret said.
"I love you too" Carrie said back.
They look at each other for moment before Margaret let Carrie go to her bedroom.
Carrie lay down on her bed, feeling so tried. She was so done for today. She turned off her lamp and pull her covers over her and immediately fell asleep.
Meanwhile somewhere underwater at an unknown ocean
A US nuclear submarine was underwater with people inside driving it. They were looking if there were any potential threats out there. They heard about the three missing ships and were called in to find the missing ships remains and investigate what or who is responsible for them.
"Found anything yet?" The Captain asked.
"Negative, no sign of any of the ships remains." A coworker answered.
"Anything on the radar that shows a sign of a potential threat and caused this possibly? The Captain asked.
"Negative, nothing is appearing on our radars." The coworker responded.
The Captain rubbed his face with his hands. Its been hours and so far they haven't found anything yet. No sign of the remains from any of the ships or what caused the ships to go missing. Before everyone was send on the mission there were many theories what may have caused the ships to go missing. Some say it was a terrorist group, some say it was the Chinese, some say it was the North Koreans, some say it was the Russians, some say it was the Iranians, some say it may have been aliens, some say it may been an unknown creature they have never discovered, some have absolutely no idea.
The team kept searching for the remains of the ships or the cause, or any clues or any evidence on this mission.
That was until…..
"Captain, something has been picked up on the radar" A worker that checked the radars said loudly.
This got not only the Captains attention but everyones attention as they all have been wondering what caused the ships to go down.
The captain looked at the radar he was looking at.
"What is it" someone said.
"What do you think it is" someone said.
They all looked at the radar carefully. The Captain then noticed something.
"Do you think it's the Chinese or Russians?" someone said.
"No….. its moving way too fast. No Chinese or Russian or any other country submarine is advanced enough to move that fast. Hell the US doesn't have a submarine that could move that fast."
"Then what could be it be? A whale?" someone asked
The Captain looked at the radar for a moment before saying "No, its moving way too fast. I'm not a person that studies animals but even I know a whale doesn't move that fast."
Everyone on the submarine felt chills hearing that. If it wasn't a submarine from another country or some big animal like a whale then what was the radar picking up? What was out there? What was coming towards them at a fast speed?
"Captain! It's heading towards us at an alarming speed!" someone said in a panic voice.
"Prepare to fire a torpedo" the Captain said.
Everyone at the controls were preparing the torpedo so they can fire.
"Captain, the torpedo is ready" someone said.
"Good" the Captain said.
"Captain, the target is getting closing"
"Fire torpedo. Now!" The captain said.
"Firing torpedo" someone said.
A torpedo was fired from the US nuclear submarine heading to its target.
Inside the submarine, everyone including the Captain watched the radar in intensively as they saw the torpedo heading towards the target.
"Torpedo 1,000 meters from the target" someone said loudly.
Everyone kept watching in tension, waiting to see what would happen.
"800 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass.
"600 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass.
"400 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass.
"200 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass.
"100 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass. The tension was felt much higher now.
"50 meters" the same guy said.
A few seconds pass. Then they felt the submarine shake a little as they all heard an explosion in distance.
"Target's been hit!" the same guy said as he saw on the radar the target was no longer being pick up.
They all breathe a sigh of relief hearing those words. Some even laugh or clap their hands together in victory. They all began to celebrate thinking the target was destroyed or dead and that they were all gonna okay.
That was until…..
"Captain! The target is still on the move." that same guy said.
Everyone froze in fear and got silent immediately hearing that. The target was not down and was still moving. How could something survive a torpedo, much less a nuclear torpedo?! What or who was this thing they hit then because it definitely wasn't another submarine or any other animal they know of that would survive that.
Then suddenly, the whole nuclear submarine shook violently as it was hit by something and felt like it was being dragged away by something. Everyone inside went flying everywhere as the submarine was shaking so much. Water started leaking inside as some people began to drown.
Then the whole nuclear submarine explodes, killing everyone, and releasing radiation. It then starts getting absorbed by something, something so big.
Godzilla starts absorbing the radiation that was released, fueling his atomic energy and gets stronger.
