The day after the group stage of the tournament was over, it was a free day, and all those remaining trainers have been given free time to rest, just like their Pokémon.
Ash was currently in his room along with his friends as they are looking at Harrison's profile to see what Pokémon he has, so that Ash can be prepared for anything.
Leaf and Serena plan to look at their opponent's profiles after Ash.
"Harrison seems to have a wide variety of Pokémon." Misty commented.
"Yeah, he has Pokémon from Kanto, Johto and Hoenn Regions, which means he has traveled through all of them," Ash said. "And they are all fully evolved Pokémon, which means that they are probably very tough, as Harrison didn't seem like the guy to evolve them too quickly."
"I agree with that." Brock said.
"So, which Pokémon do you think he will use?" Serena asked.
"It's hard to guess as he has a lot of different Pokémon," Ash said. "Though I think that this Blaziken will be one of them."
"What makes you say that?" Leaf asked.
"Blaziken is the final form of the Fire starter Pokémon from Hoenn Region, which means that it is most likely his starter Pokémon, and probably the strongest Pokémon he has."
"Really," Misty said surprised. "Well, then you are probably right, as Harrison would want his strongest Pokémon in his team for the battle against you, especially if he knows you won Kanto Region not even two years ago."
"What Pokémon are you going to use?" Serena asked him.
"Well, I already decided to only use the Pokémon I caught in Johto Region, along with Lapras, Snorlax, Espeon and Umbreon, so I'll chose six Pokémon among them."
And so, Ash and the others continued to look over Harrison's profile, and then Serena and Leaf looked at their opponents, while making plans and deciding on which Pokémon to use in their battles tomorrow.

After they finished, Ash and the others went outside and decide to take a walk around the Silver Town a little, and see what's going on.
They run into Amber and her friends who have already picked their Pokémon for their battles, at least those who went in top 16, which is only Amber and Marina, and then they all went to walk a little and talked about different stuff.
After few hours of sightseeing around Silver Town, the gang returned to the hotel, but on the way, they ran into Professor Oak, and Delia who have come to watch Ash, Amber and Gary for the remaining of the tournament.
Delia said that Red and Riley, as well as Gary's father couldn't come as they had other stuff to do, but wished them good luck, and were expecting to see some good battles from the three of them.
The rest of the day, Ash and his group along with Amber and her group spent together with Delia and Professor Oak. Gary was called to join them, but he refused, as he wanted to prepare for his next battle, and his battle with Ash if they both make it to the final, as it is only then they would be able to fight according to the roster.

The day for the top 16 battles has finally come, and is already almost half finished, as Leaf, Jimmy and Serena, have already won their battles and have progressed in the quarterfinals of the Silver Conference, while Ash, Gary, Amber and Marina have their battles next.
Leaf's Goldeen evolved into Seaking, as her battle was on the Water Field, and she used her Goldeen in the match since it could have been her only chance in this tournament to use it.
Right now, Ash and Harrison are on the field, as the announcer was again explaining the rules in the top 16 rounds, and said about the field being decided before the match. There will be water, grass, rock and ice fields, and they are all randomly selected.
The computer has selected grass field to be the first field on which Ash and Harrison will start their battle, and Harrison will choose his Pokémon first.
"Come out, Kecleon!" Harrison released his first Pokémon.
"Obstagoon, you are up first!" Ash released his first Pokémon as well, and everyone was wide eyed as they saw a Pokémon that no one has ever see before.
"What Pokémon is that?" Harrison asked.
"This is Obstagoon, it is a Pokémon from Galar Region, and it's the evolved form of Galarian Linoone!" Ash said.
"You have a lot of Pokémon from different Regions that no one has ever seen before, don't you?" Harrison asked, and Ash nodded.
"I was lucky to get most of them, as I have never been in some of the Region's from which some of my Pokémon come from." Ash said, Harrison nodded, and the referee started the match.
"Kecleon, use Color Change!" Harrison started first, and soon, his Pokémon disappeared from the sight, as his body became blended with the surroundings, and the only thing that was seen is the red stripe on the center of its stomach. "Now hide in the grass, and use Lick, when the time is right!"
Ash smiled at this, and said his first move. "Obstagoon, use Bulk Up!"
Obstagoon flexed his arms and his body become surrounded by a dark aura.
"Now, stay calm and listen to where Kecleon will come out from!" Ash said, and Obstagoon stood still, and listened where the attack might come from.
It was few moments later, that the attack came, and Kecleon managed to use Lick, on Obstagoon's face, and then backed away, while Obstagoon stood still.
"You didn't hear it coming, did you," Ash asked, and Obstagoon, frowned. "It's ok, now go and use a wide area Swift, and find Kecleon!"
Obstagoon smiled, and jumped high in the air, and started firing yellow stars from his mouth, which fell all over the field, but mostly grass part of the field, as Obstagoon figured that would be where Kecleon is hiding.
Soon, there was a cry of pain, and Kecleon came out form the tall grass flying and now completely visible, but also covered in few bruises.
"What, how could you find him so easily?" Harrison asked.
"Attacking wide area is good in cases like this," Ash said. "And if you wondering why Lick, didn't work, that's because Obstagoon is Dark and Normal Type, so Ghost type attacks are useless against him."
Harrison frowned, and looked at his Pokémon, who was standing up, and looked ready to continue. "Use Furry Swipes!"
Kecleon's claws extended, and then glowed. Then it disappeared again, and came after Obstagoon.
"It's coming from your right side, at 1 O'clock," Ash said to Obstagoon, who nodded, and looked at where Kecleon was coming and saw red stripe moving toward him. "Use Night Slash!"
Both of Obstagoon's claws glowed purple, and the he slashed at Kecleon at the same time Kecleon slashed at him with one of his claws.
Obstagoon managed to reach farther and slashed Kecleon across the hand and then across the face with one arm, and then Obstagoon slashed again with the other arm, and slashed Kecleon again. Kecleon flew few feet backwards from the slash and fell on the ground, crying in pain, and rubbing its face.
"OH, NO, Kecleon!" Harrison shouted, as he saw his Pokémon get two big slashes across its face, and is now injured and in pain.
"Finish it off with Close Combat!" Ash said.
Obstagoon's eyes glowed red, and he run toward Kecleon fast and started repeatedly to punch it and kick it all over the place, for about half a minute, and then stopped as he saw Kecleon fall on the ground unconscious.
"Kecleon is unable to battle, the winner is Obstagoon!" The referee said.
"And the first round in the match between Ash and Harrison goes to Ash, so Harrison is now one Pokémon down, while Ash has all of his Pokémon," the announcer said! "Let's see how Harrison will respond to Ash getting the lead!"
Harrison returned his defeated Kecleon, and released his second Pokémon, Sneasel, which he captured before the start of the tournament after Ash defeated it.
"So, it's Sneasel," Ash said, and then decided to return his Obstagoon, and give chance to another of his Pokémon. "Come out, Cinderace!"
"And Harrison chooses Sneasel as his second Pokémon, while Ash again choses a Pokémon from Galar Region, that I'm sure not many people here have ever seen before!" The announcer said.
"Cinderace, is the final form of the Fire Starter from Galar Region." Ash gave some information to Harrison and to those who never saw Cinderace before.
Harrison nodded, and then the referee started the second round of the battle.
"Sneasel, use Quick Attack!" Harrison said, and Sneasel run fast toward Cinderace, while leaving behind itself white trail.
"Cinderace, use Blaze Kick!" Ash said.
Cinderace's right leg ignited on fire, and then he jumped up in the air. Cinderace kicked Sneasel right on the head, and sent him flying all the way to the other side of the field, with a big burn mark on his face.
"What the..." Harrison said after he saw his Sneasel being kicked like that.
"Cinderace has been with me for only few months, but he was very strong even before, and right now, he might as well be Elite Four level." Ash said, and Harrison's eyes widened.
Harrison looked at his Sneasel, who was able to stand up, but he saw a big burn mark on Sneasel's cheek, and few bruises it got from the fall.
"Sneasel, use Metal Claw!" Harrison said.
Sneasel's right claw glows white and then it slashed at Cinderace with it, but Cinderace dodged, and then used Fire Punch, and punched Sneasel on the face, right over where he kicked it before. Sneasel flew backwards from the punch, crying, as the burn on its cheek increased.
"Finish it with Flamethrower!" Ash said.
Cinderace blew a powerful Flamethrower from his mouth at the downed Sneasel, who didn't have time, or the strength to dodge, and was hit by it.
The hit caused an explosion, which lifted a small dust cloud that covered Sneasel, but after the cloud cleared up a minute later, Sneasel was seen on the ground, unconscious.
"Sneasel is unable to continue, the winner is Cinderace!" The referee said.
"Harrison loses another round, and is now two Pokémon down, while Ash looks like he's not having too much trouble, as his Pokémon had two easy wins," The announcer commented, as the crowd cheered for both trainers!
"Sneasel, return," Harrison returned his Pokémon, and took another Poke Ball. "You really are great trainer, Ash, and your Pokémon are great, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as you have won Indigo League not that long ago."
"My Pokémon are strong, as I train them really hard, probably harder than most trainers do," Ash said. "Though in some cases, they are already powerful when I catch them, and then I only help them increase that strength, just like with Cinderace."
"I see," Harrison said. "Well then, I guess in the future, I will have to train my Pokémon harder than I did, but now we have a battle to continue. Come out, Hypno!"
Hypno came out of its Poke Ball, and stood across from Cinderace.
Ash looked at Hypno, and decided to switch his Pokémon, so he returned his Cinderace, and released his Umbreon.
"BEGIN!" The referee started round three.
"Hypno, use Future Sight!' Harrison said, and Hypno's eyes glowed for a second, and then it stopped. "Now use Brick Break!"
Hypno jumped in the air above Umbreon, then its right arm glowed white, which he then brought down toward Umbreon like a Karate Chop.
"Dig," Ash said, and Umbreon used his front paws to dig a hole in the ground, in which he then entered and escaped from Hypno's attack.
Hypno came on the ground where Umbreon use to be, and then looked around waiting to see where Umbreon would come out from.
After a few moments, Umbreon broke through the ground behind Hypno, and Ash said. "Use Crunch!"
Umbreon's teeth's glowed and then he bit down on Hypno's left arm in which it was holding a pendulum. Hypno screamed in pain from the bite, and dropped its pendulum.
"Oh no, Hypno," Harrison shouted as he saw his Pokémon in trouble.
After few moments, Umbreon let go of Hypno's hand, which was now bleeding from the bite, and Hypno was holding it with its other hand, while its pendulum was lying on the ground.
It was at that moment, the wind around stadium increased in strength, and Ash and Harrison knew what it is, and Harrison smirked.
"It's coming Umbreon, so watch out!" Ash said, and Umbreon nodded.
Suddenly, a multicolored beam shot from the sky toward Umbreon, who, from all the training he did with Ash, was able to notice the attack, and jumped away from it, as the attack hit the ground.
"Sorry Harrison, but that won't work," Ash said, and Harrison groaned, as he felt like a little baby since he couldn't do anything to cause any damage to Ash's Pokémon. Every time he thinks he is about to get a hit, Ash pulls something off and dodges the attack or counters it, and it's becoming frustrating for him.
"Now Umbreon, use Dark Pulse!" Ash said.
Umbreon then fired multiple black orbs of energy with a purple outline from in front of his head, with rainbow rings surrounding the black orbs as they are fired.
The orbs went toward Hypno, about to hit it, but Harrison told his Pokémon to use Light Screen, which protected Hypno from the attack, though not entirely, as it still got some damage, though not as much as it should have.
"Use Thunder Punch, Hypno!" Harrison said, trying to do something before he loses another round.
Hypno's right arm, which was not hurt, glowed yellow with static electricity as he made it into a fist, and then run at Umbreon to hit him with it.
"Umbreon, use Iron Tail!" Ash said.
As Hypno run at Umbreon, Umbreon's tail glowed white, and he jumped in the air above Hypno and dodged Thunder Punch which hit the ground where Umbreon used to be. Then, Umbreon turned in the air, and slammed his tail straight across the left side of Hypno's face, sending it flying all the way across the field.
"Finish it off with Dark Pulse!" Ash said, and Umbreon quickly fired another Dark Pulse attack, which hit the downed Hypno, and caused an explosion.
Once the dust from the explosion cleared, Hypno was shown to have passed out.
"Hypno is unable to continue, the winner is Umbreon!" The referee said.
"And another round goes to Ash and his Pokémon," the announcer said, as the crowd cheered, and Harrison returned d his defeated Pokémon. "Since Harrison lost three of his Pokémon, there will be a five-minute intermission, after which the match will continue!"
Ash returned his Umbreon, and walked to the seats which were made at the end of the field for trainers to rest during the intermission. Ash set there, and thought about the match so far. He thought that Harrison is going to give him a nice battle, but he guessed those were just wishes, as he has already defeated three of his Pokémon, and none of Harrison's Pokémon even managed to land a good hit on his Pokémon.
"I must be going overboard with training my Pokémon, since it seems that no one can follow it up, and I pull wins very easily." Ash thought in his head, and then sighed.
After the five minutes were over, Ash and Harrison returned to the field to continue their match.
Harrison send out Steelix as his fourth Pokémon, while Ash decided to go with Quilava.
"BEGIN!" The referee started the fourth round.
"Steelix, use Dig!" Harrison said, and Steelix quickly dug a hole in the ground and disappeared in it.
It came out few moments later, and Harrison told it to use Bind, so Steelix wrapped its tail around Quilava and started squeezing him as hard as it could, causing Quilava to let out a cry in pain.
"Quilava, use Flare Blitz!" Ash said to his Pokémon, and Quilava opened his eyes, and struggled a little until his body burst in orange and red fire in which he got surrounded, causing Steelix to roar in pain from being burned, and it let go of Quilava who fell on the ground, and then shot at Steelix while surrounded in fire.
"Steelix, use Dragon Breath!" Harrison said.
Steelix quickly fired a green beam of energy from its mouth at Quilava, and the beam collided with Quilava. The two pushed against each other for a few moments, until there was an explosion from which Quilava was thrown backwards, but managed to come down on its front and back legs, and didn't fall on the ground.
As he stood on the ground, Quilava's body became surrounded by red sparks, as he took recoil damage from Flare Blitz.
"You ok, Quilava," Ash asked, and Quilava nodded, even though he felt some pain from the explosion and the recoil from his previous attack. "Good, then use Flamethrower!"
"Steelix, use Sandstorm!" Harrison said.
Quilava then took a deep breath while he rose to his back legs and threw his head backwards, and then blew a very powerful Flamethrower by pushing his head forward.
Steelix quickly countered it, by spinning around and created a Sandstorm that surrounded its body, and stopped the Flamethrower from causing it damage.
"Good job, Steelix, now use Iron Tail!" Harrison said after the Sandstorm disappeared as soon as Quilava stopped his Flamethrower.
Steelix's tail then glowed white, and it slammed it into Quilava who was sent flying from the hit, until he hit the ground a little behind Ash and rolled over for a few more meters.
Everyone winced at the powerful attack and the hit that Quilava took. The crowd thought that that was it for Quilava, as even the judge thought so and was about to call the round, but then Quilava started moving, and managed to stand back up, but barely as he was clearly hurt.
"Do you want to continue, Quilava?" Ash asked, as his Pokémon returned to the field, and then he nodded.
"Then use Fire Blast!" Ash said, and Quilava gathered his strength, and fired his attack at Steelix, who again protected himself with Sandstorm, though this time, Quilava's attack was much more powerful than before, and some of the sand started turning into glass.
Soon, the attack ended, and Steelix released the Sandstorm, so Harrison went with his next move. "Use Hyper Beam, Steelix!"
"Quick Attack and then Fire Punch, Quilava!" Ash said.
As soon as Steelix blew a beam of yellow energy from its mouth, Quilava run toward it, while disappearing and appearing as he run, and then when it got close to Steelix, he jumped in the air in front of Steelix's head, with his right front paw lit on fire, and the Quilava hit Steelix with his fist right on the head. Steelix roared again in pain, and fell on the ground, while Quilava landed slowly on all four of his legs.
"Come on Steelix, get up, you are not done yet," Harrison cheered his Pokémon to stand up and continue to battle, and Steelix did. "Use Dragon Breath, Steelix!"
"Use Overheat, Quilava!" Ash countered.
Steelix fired another green beam from its mouth, while Quilava glowed red, and then fired a white fire with a red-orange flame spiraling around it.
The two attacks clashed, and pushed at one another for a while, with both Pokémon giving it their all to overpower the other.
Once again, both attacks exploded, and this time, sent both Pokémon backwards, where they fell on the ground, and had a hard time standing up, Quilava a little harder than Steelix, as he received more damage so far.
"Come on Steelix you can do it," Harrison yelled! "One more attack, and we can win this round!"
Steelix did get up after that, and glared at Quilava ready to fire the attack that will bring the fire Pokémon down and end this round.
Quilava still struggled to stand up, and was looking at Ash with half lidded eyes, and saw Ash smiling at him, and then gave him thumbs up, which somehow gave Quilava new energy, and Quilava rose to his hind legs, and yelled as high as he could. Quilava started to glow, much to the surprise of everyone who were watching the match.
"Unbelievable, it seems that Quilava is evolving in the middle of this tough battle against Steelix!" The announcer yelled, and the crowed watched in wonder, as they thought about what would happen now, and if the newly evolved Typhlosion will defeat Steelix.
"Congratulations, Typhlosion," Ash said, and his newly evolved Pokémon nodded, and looked at Steelix.
While they looked at one another, they were both breathing hard, and while Typhlosion just evolved, his stamina didn't return, and he was still on his last leg, just like Steelix, it would seem.
"Come on Steelix, use Flash Cannon, full power!' Harrison said.
"Use Flare Blitz to dodge the attack, and then hit it as hard as you can!" Ash said to his Pokémon.
Steelix's body become outlined in white energy and then a white orb of energy with light blue energy formed inside of Steelix's mouth, and it fired a white and light blue beam of energy at Typhlosion.
Typhlosion then got surrounded in orange and red fire again, and then the fire intensified and turned blue. Typhlosion jumped up in the air, and avoided Flash Cannon which hit the ground where Typhlosion used to be, and caused a big explosion.
Then, Typhlosion flew at Steelix while surrounded by blue fire, and slammed into it at full speed and strength, which caused another explosion and Steelix fell backwards covered in bruises and burn marks.
When Steelix fell on the ground, Typhlosion came back down, and the blue fire disappeared from around his body, and he then received the recoil damage, and also fell on the ground.
The referee looked at both Pokémon and waited for a few moments, and when he saw that they are both passed out and won't be standing up any time soon, he called the round. "Both Steelix and Typhlosion are unable to battle, this round is a tie!"
"And the fourth round ends surprisingly in a tie," the announcer commented! "It would seem that after he evolved, Typhlosion was able to pull out at least a tie with Steelix, as before it looked like Steelix has the advantage over Quilava, so it is safe to say that Harrison just wasn't lucky in this round, as it looked like that he will finally win one round, but it just wasn't meant to happen!"
Ash and Harrison returned their Pokémon for a well-deserved rest, and then both took their Poke Balls, and released their next Pokémon.
Harrison chose his Houndoom as his fifth Pokémon, while Ash sent out his Feraligatr as his next Pokémon.
And the referee started the match right away. "BEGIN!"
"Houndoom, use Flamethrower!" Harrison said.
"Counter it with Water Gun, Feraligatr!" Ash said.
Houndoom then opened his mouth, and fired a red-orange stream of fire at Feraligatr, who countered it by firing a blast of water from his own mouth, making the two attacks collided.
Feraligatr's Water Gun started to overpower Houndoom's Flamethrower after few moments, and then there was an explosion that broke two attacks, and left two Pokémon looking at one another.
"Use Bite, Houndoom!" Harrison said his next move.
Houndoom quickly run towards Feraligatr, and bite him on the left hand, which Feraligatr pushed forward to defend his body.
Feraligatr winced a little from the pain, but held strong, and then Ash said. "Use Slash!"
Feraligatr's right claw glowed white, and with it, he slashed Houndoom right across the left side of its face, which left a mark, as the Slash ripped through Houndoom's skin.
Houndoom let go of Feraligatr's arm, and howled in pain.
"Oh no, are you ok, Houndoom?" Harrison shouted, as he saw his Pokémon in severe pain from the slash across the face.
"Use Hydro Pump, Feraligatr!" Ash said, trying to use this opportunity to get rid of Houndoom.
The red spikes on Feraligatr's head started to glow light red and he released a powerful blast of water from his mouth at Houndoom.
"Houndoom, quickly, Counter!" Harrison yelled to his Pokémon to use the next move, as he saw it was in danger.
Houndoom looked at the incoming Hydro Pump attack, and its body became outline in orange, and once Hydro Pump hit it, it got sent flying back at Feraligatr.
"Use Aqua Jet, Feraligatr!" Ash said, and Feraligatr's body become surrounded by water and he shoot himself like a rocket at Houndoom, dodging Hydro Pump in the process, and slammed into Houndoom, sending it flying all the way out of the field.
"Come on Houndoom, get up!" Harrison shouted, as he saw his Pokémon lying on the ground.
Houndoom heard him, so it pushed itself hard to stand up, and eventually it did. Houndoom walked back to the field, though very slowly, as it was hurt from a powerful water type attack.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Harrison said.
Houndoom then fired a beam of black and purple circles from its mouth at Feraligatr, but Feraligatr used Protect, and stopped the attack.
"Use Headbutt!" Harrison said quickly, as soon as Feraligatr dropped the barrier.
Houndoom quickly run at Feraligatr, and slammed his head into him. Feraligatr was pushed back a little, but he didn't fall down, and managed to stand on his legs.
"Sorry, Harrison, but that attack is just not enough for Feraligatr," Ash said. "Feraligatr, use Aqua Tail!"
Feraligatr's tail become surrounded in a stream of water that spirals around his tail and he whips it around. Feraligatr slammed his tail into Houndoom, who was again sent flying, until he fell on the ground not far behind Harrison.
"Finish it off with Hydro Cannon!" Ash said.
Feraligatr opened his mouth, making a glowing light blue ball of water appeared in front of his mouth and then Feraligatr fired a beam of water at Houndoom, who was trying to stand up.
Once one of the more powerful water type attacks hit Houndoom, it sent him even more backwards and into the wall.
Once all the water retracted around Houndoom, and went into the ground, Houndoom was seen unconscious.
"Houndoom is unable to battle, the winner is Feraligatr!" The referee said.
"Houndoom, return," Harrison returned his Pokémon, and took his last Poke Ball, before he released his final Pokémon in this battle. "Blaziken, it's up to you now!"
Blaziken came out of its Poke Ball, and stood ready to battle.
"Feraligatr, return!" Ash said, and released his sixth Pokémon as well. "Come out, Salamence!"
Salamence also came out, and stood across from Blaziken, as the two looked at each other.
"Harrison's final Pokémon is Blaziken, and Ash again switches his Pokémon, and choses Salamence," the announcer commented! "Let's see if Harrison and Blaziken can win this round, and prolong this match, or will Ash and Salamence win, which would lead Ash to top 8 of this year's Silver Conference!"
"BEGIN!" The referee started the round.
"Blaziken, Quick Attack!" Harrison started.
"Iron Defense!" Ash said.
Blaziken run at the fast speed at Salamence, and slammed into him, but Salamence already glowed light blue, and protected himself by making his body iron hard. This made Blaziken bounce back a little.
"Use Dragon Breath!" Ash said.
"Counter it with Flamethrower, Blaziken!" Harrison said.
Salamence fired a light blue beam from his mouth, while Blaziken fired a powerful red and orange stream of fire from its mouth, and the two attacks clashed.
"Push it back, Salamence!" Ash said, after the two attacks battled to overpower one another for a few moments.
Salamence then added more power, and started pushing back Blaziken's Flamethrower, until it got close enough to almost hit Blaziken.
Luckily for Blaziken, the two attacks exploded before they could hit it, and it only got hit by the shockwave from the explosion, that sent Blaziken flying backwards few meters, but it jumped down on its legs.
"Go in and use Fire Punch, Blaziken!" Harrison said.
Blaziken jumped in the air, and its right fist ignited in flame, and then it punched Salamence with it, which caused Salamence's head to snap to the side and it gave him a burn mark on his cheek, but other than that, it didn't do much harm.
"Use Blaze Kick!" Harrison shouted more than a little frustrated, as he was losing terribly, and it seems like none of Blaziken's attacks are working on Salamence.
The end of Blaziken's left leg blazed in flame, and then it kicked Salamence to the chin, and Salamence's head snapped upwards. Salamence's entire body was lifted to the air from the kick, but again, it didn't do much damage, as Salamence started to float mid-air, with only a little burn mark on his chin, added to the one on his cheek.
"Use Dragon Breath!" Ash said.
Salamence fired another Dragon Breath attack, but Blaziken was able to evade it.
"Go in with another Blaze Kick!" Harrison said.
"Aerial Ace!" Ash said.
As Blaziken's leg blazed on fire again, and was about to kick Salamence, Salamence's body become surrounded by white streaks and he flew down and slammed into Blaziken, which sent Blaziken flying far behind Harrison.
"Hyper Beam!" Ash said.
Salamence, still in the air, opened his mouth, and created an orange ball in it, and then fired orange beam at Blaziken, who was trying to stand up, but before it could, Hyper Beam hit it, and caused an explosion that covered Blaziken, lifting the dust cloud in the process that covered Blaziken.
Everyone waited for the dust cloud to clear out, so they can see the result of the match. About a minute later, the cloud was gone, and Blaziken was see lying inside of the crater, covered in bruises, and unconscious.
"Blaziken is unable to continue, the winner of the round is Salamence, and the match goes to Ash Ketchum!" The referee said.
"Salamence has defeated Blaziken, which means that Ash has won the final round, and has advanced to the quarterfinal, while Harrison has unfortunately finished his participation in the Silver Conference for this year!" The announcer commented, as the crowd cheered for both trainers, who returned their Pokémon, and walked to the middle of the field to shake each other's hand.
"That was a great battle you showed to everyone, Ash, and I'm honored to have battled against you." Harrison said.
"It was a good match, Harrison, you did well, you just have to up your training if you want to get to the top one day," Ash said.
"I will, and the next time we battle, I will be much better, and will defeat you!" Harrison said, making Ash smile, and then wished him luck with that.
After that, both trainers left the field, and went to the bleachers to watch the remaining matches and see who will advance to the next round.

In the last four battles in the Top 16 round, Gary, Amber and Marina won their matches, as well as the guy called John Dickson, so the four of them have advanced in the quarterfinals. During her match, Amber's Flaaffy evolved into Ampharos.
Later that day, the crowd has gathered in front of the screen in the Pokémon Center where they saw who will battle who in the next round, and they saw that the first match is Leaf vs. Jimmy, and right after that, Serena and Ash will have their quarterfinal match.
In the third match, Gary is to battle against Marina, and in the final match, Amber will battle against John Dickson.
As the quarterfinal matches have been decided, and everyone saw who will battle who, Ash and the gang went to have dinner along with Delia and Professor Oak, and after they all went to bed to rest from the day of battles.
