Where just minutes before, lava and fire were raining down on them and everyone else on the mountain, now, everything was back to normal and was calm. The volcano was calm, there was no fire and lava raining on them, there wasn't even smoke anywhere in sights. If not for several Team Magma members lying dead on the ground, none would think that anything has happened on the volcano that day.

They would do it to help Ash, but not for some stranger.
It has taken them a while, but eventually, Serena and May, have arrived in the Lavaridge Town. They have immediately went to the hospital, where Ash and Cozmo were taken to be checked by the doctors, as the Pokémon Center, wouldn't work for humans.
The end results were that, Cozmo will have to spend a little while in the hospital, in order to heal from all the injuries. As for Ash. Well, according to the doctors, he was in perfect health, yet, he wasn't waking up for some reason.
In the end, they have decided to put Ash in one of the rooms in the hospital, and wait for him to wake up.

Finally, Red has told Serena and May to not worry about the Team Magma members that Ash has killed, as he will talk with the people who will take care of that problem, and Ash won't be held accountable for their death's… even though he was the one who killed them, and should at least be called by the police to the interrogation. "Excuse me," Serena said, gaining the attention of the nurses. "Can you tell us if there is any change in the condition of, Ash Ketchum? He was brought here two days ago, and last night when we checked, he was still in a coma."
One of the two nurses nodded at Serena. "Yes," May said. "She is my mom. But I'm surprised that she came here to visit Ash. I mean she only met him once, and didn't spend a lot of time around him. I'm wandering, what reason she would have to come and visit Ash."
The nurse shrugged. "I can't tell you her reason." She said.
May and Serena nodded, as they didn't really expect the nurse to tell them, why Caroline came to visit Ash.
"Since she is still up there, can we also go and visit Ash, or do we have to wait for her to come out?" Serena asked.
Both of the nurses smiled. "It's ok," the first nurse said. "You can go right now. It won't be any problem. I will come with you, though. I want to check him out, and see if there are any changes."
Serena and May thanked the nurse, before all three left the reception desk, and went to Ash's hospital room.
