Thanks to being on horseback, it took Rahgol and Lydia three days to reach Riverwood. They brought the horses to a halt next to the inn and got off, walking up the steps towards the door when Lydia stopped him. "What if this is a trap?" She cautioned.

Rahgol looked at her. "Then whoever took the Horn is going to die." He pushed the door open and entered the inn, seeing several customers were here, drinking and eating, the bard playing a song which Rahgol believed was called 'The Dragonborn Comes'. He almost rolled his eyes, since that is something everyone's been talking about lately.

Rahgol looked around before walking up to a blonde-haired woman. "Hey, we're here to rent the attic room." He said/

"Attic room eh? Well, we don't have an attic room, but you can have the one on the left. Make yourself at home." Rahgol walked towards the room she told him to go and he sat on the bed. Lydia was sitting on one of the chairs.

"Well now what?" Lydia asked.

Before Rahgol could answer, the door opened and the blonde-haired woman stepped in, looking at Rahgol. "So you're the Dragonborn everyone's been talking about. I take it this is what you want. She had the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller in her hand and gave it to him.

"Who are you?" Rahgol frowned at her.

"Not here." The woman said, casting a glance back into the main room, her voice quiet. "We need to talk. Follow me." She turned and walked towards the room opposite if the one they were in. Rahgol and Lydia shared a look before they followed the woman, who revealed a secret passage in a closet that led to stairs descending into a small room with weapon racks, shelves with potions, chest, and a table in the middle with a map of sorts along with a book titled 'The book of the Dragonborn'.

"So, the Greybeards seem to think you're the Dragonborn. I hope they're right. My name is Delphine." Delphine said, putting her hands on the table.

"You took the Horn?" Raghgol raised a brow.

"Surprised? I guess I'm getting pretty good at my harmless innkeeper act." Delphine smirked.

"Looks can be deceiving." Rahgol said, narrowing his eyes. "Now, why did you go to all of this trouble to meet with me? What do you want?"

"I didn't go to all this trouble on a whim." Delphine said sharply. "I needed to make sure it wasn't a Thalmor trap. I'm not your enemy. I already gave you the horn. I'm actually trying to help you. I just need you to hear me out."

Rahgol crossed his arms. "Go on."

"Like I said in my note, I've heard that you might be Dragonborn. I'm part of a group that's been looking for you... well, someone like you, for a very long time. If you really are Dragonborn, that is. Before I tell you any more, I need to make sure I can trust you." Delphine said.

Rahgol scoffed and shook his head. "You're talking about trusting me? How do I know I can trust you?"

"If you don't trust me, you were a fool to walk in here in the first place." Delphine retorted.

"No, I came here for what you took, which you've given, and now you're the one who wants me to prove to be trustworthy?" Rahgol said with a growl. "I don't like being toyed with, but you're lucky I don't consider you a danger."

She smirked. "Are you challenging me?"

Rahgol stared at her blankly. "Your overconfidence will be your downfall. Don't tempt me with the idea of killing you."

"Okay, okay, enough." Lydia stepped in and shot Rahgol a look. "Stop trying to pick a fight."

"She's starting it." Rahgol pointed.

"And I'm finishing it. Now knock it off!" Lydia snapped, making Rahgol roll his eyes. Lydia looked at Delphine. "Why did you take the Horn?"

"I knew the Greybeards would send him there if they thought he was Dragonborn. They're nothing if not predictable. When you showed up here, I knew you were the one the Greybeards sent, and not some Thalmor plant." Delphine said.

Rahgol raised a brow. "What did you do to get the Thalmor after you?"

"We're very old enemies." Delphine said vaguely, which made Rahgol grunt. He didn't like vague answers from people he didn't trust. "And if my suspicions are correct, they might have something to do with the Dragons returning. But that isn't important right now. What is important is that you might be Dragonborn."

"Not that important." Rahgol muttered with a bitter tone.

"Why are you looking for a Dragonborn?" Lydia asked.

"We remember what most don't - that the Dragonborn is the ultimate dragonslayer." Delphine said, then looked at Rahgol. "You're the only one that can kill a dragon permanently by devouring its soul. Can you do it? Can you devour a dragon's soul?"

Rahgol sighed and reluctantly nodded. "Yes. It's how I found out what I was."

Delphine nodded, pleased. "Good. And you'll have a chance to prove it to me soon enough."

Rahgol frowned. "So, what's the part you aren't telling me?" He asked.

"Dragons aren't just coming back, they're coming back to life." Delphine explained. "They weren't gone somewhere for all these years. They were dead, killed off centuries ago by my predecessors. Now something's happening to bring them back to life. And I need you to help me stop it."

"And what makes you think that?" Rahgol asked. "What makes you think they are being brought back to life?"

"I know they are. I've visited their ancient burial mounds and found them empty. And I've figured out where the next one will come back to life. We're going to go there, and you're going to kill that Dragon. If we succeed, I'll tell you anything you want to know." Delphine promised. Rahgol narrowed his eyes a little at the order in her voice when she mentioned he will kill the Dragon. Since the reveal of being Dragonborn, he understood that the Dragons were basically his brethern, that he had the blood and soul of a Dragon, yet the body of a man. The Dragons were as much as his race as humans were.

He sighed. "Where are we headed?"

"Kynesgrove. There's an ancient Dragon burial near there. If we can get there before it happens, then maybe we'll learn how to stop it." Delphine said.

Rahgol nodded nodded. "All right, let's go then." He said.

"I need to get into my travelling gear. Give me a minute." Delphine said. Rahgol walked out of the hidden room with Lydia and after about a minute, Delphine arrived. She had weird armor on and she had a katana as a weapon. When they were outside Riverwood with the horses, Rahgol began to speak.

"What's so important about me being Dragonborn?" He asked.

"Dragons are coming back, and you're a born Dragonslayer. That's all you need to know." Delphine said, to which a flash of irritation passed through Rahgol's eyes at her words and her tone. He did not like this. It felt like he was being used. But... this did have benefit for him, and that was to find out more about what's going on and why Dragons were coming back. So for now, he'll play nice.

They finally arrived in Kynesgrove, and it was clear something was amiss. As they got off their horses, a woman came running up to them with a panicked expression on her face. "Help! A Dragon is attacking!"

The travellers shared alert looks before they ran up the hill to a burial mound, where they found a certain black Dragoness hovering over the mound while in the air, watching it glow and do something. Rahgol paused in surprise at seeing her again, his body stiffening when the Dragoness looked their way and locked eyes with him, her scaly expression twitching into an amused one before she turned her attention back to the mound.

"Rahgol, what is it?" Lydia asked, seeing his expression.

"I know her." Rahgol said, gesturing to the black Dragoness. "That's the Dragon who burned Helgen down... and saved my life twice, though the first time was indirectly."

"Sahloknir, ziil gro dovah ulse! Slen Tiid Vo!" The Dragoness shouted and weird energy appeared around the burial while she released some weird Thu'um energy. Suddenly the earth began to shake and a bone Dragon appeared out of the ground. His flesh began to grow back! The Dragon shook his body before he looked up to the Dragoness.

"Alduin, thuri! Boaan tiid vokriiha suleyksejun kruziik?" Sahloknir asked, and Rahgol's eyes widened. That black Dragoness... was Alduin the World-Eater. He knew all about her, read the legends of the World-Eater. Paarthurnax had even talked to him about her, how she was the firstborn daughter of Akatosh and Mara themselves, and the most powerful of all the Dragons, with the title of Goddess of Destruction.

The Dragoness that saved his life... was Alduin.

"Geh, Sahloknir, kaali mir." Alduin said, then directed her attention onto the mortals below, her eyes seeking out Rahgol's first. "Well, well, we meet again, little Dovahkiin. We should really stop meeting like this. But then again, like all males, they desire my attention on them."

"Don't flatter yourself." Rahgol scoffed. "If I had known you'd be here... I would've brought hundreds of biscuits with me."

Alduin laughed. "And as I told you before... you wouldn't have enough to satisfy my hunger."

"Diist tiid fah pah." Rahgol said in the Dovahzul, and Alduin looked pleased he was resorting to using it.

"So, you know our tongue. Good... but that does not make you an equal to a Dovah. You are still just a little mortal with the blood and soul of a Dovah, who is clawing to get out of it's shell." Alduin said with a dark chuckle.

"Why don't you come down here and we can see just how equal I can be?" Rahgol goaded.

Alduin chuckled. "Prem, dii mal rez. Mu fen lost un moor das ganog. For now, let us see if you are worthy of your name." She looked at the Dragon below. "Sahloknir, kill them." With that, she flew off, casting one last glance back at Rahgol before disappearing through the clouds.

"Be honoured, Dovahkiin." Sahloknir growled, bringing Rahgol's attention to him. "I have always been eager to test my Voice against one like you. Alduin requires your death, and I will gladly oblige her."

Rahgol cracked his neck and unsheathed his Ebony Swords. "We shall see." With that, he charged and Sahloknir roared as he charged...

The fight with Sahloknir will be in the next chapter. I know this was a little short but... meh.
