Hime was having a picnic with her friends in a park where something strange had happened recently.
"Yeeeeek!" Someone yelled out of nowhere and the girls transformed running over to see a woman wearing a kimono stealing energy from Haruna-sensei.
"Leshy!" The woman screamed.
Then the woman disappeared.
Hime ran with the others closer to Haruna, and some of the boys who had passed out on the ground. Hime checked their health:
"They're just passed out, but they should be taken to the nearest medical-station so they can be properly helped".
"Okay, but what was that creature we just saw?" Chibiusa asked nervously.
"Possible, a new Cardian", Amanda said as they took Haruna-sensei and the boys to the medical-station.
(Later)
"What did the doctor say?" Hime asked as Usagi walked out of the doctor's office with Luna and Artemis in her arms.
"There have been cases like that lately, but the doctor doesn't think it's due to dehydration or anything like that", Usagi said.
"Makai tree needs more energy", Ail said.
"Then you have to get it. Leshy gets to work again today", An said.
(In the evening)
Hime walked along the park with the others until they saw a black, withered looking cherry tree that didn't seem to be in as good shape as the other cherry trees that were currently blooming even though the sun was now setting.
"That tree is radiating evil energy", Ren said after checking it with his powers.
Suddenly, the tree changed into the Cardian they had seen before, whose eyes glowed green.
"Run!" Hime yelled as the Cardian tried to attack them.
Hime, and the others didn't even have time to take a single step, as white circles appeared on the ground below their feet, the energy emanating from them prevented them from moving, stealing their energy.
"Is this how people who steal energy feel?! Not a good feeling at all?!" Hime thought falling to the ground.
"Stop it!" Sailor Moon shouted as she came to the scene, and seeing the situation of her friends.
"Sailor Moon, don't look Cardian in the eye at any point or you'll be the same as us!" Ami screamed as she fell to the ground.
Sailor Moon nodded, and began to fight Cardian, but at one point accidentally looked Cardian in the eye.
Cardian pushed Sailor Moon to the ground while a white circle appeared on the ground below Sailor Moon, stealing Sailor Moon's energy.
"Stop it!" Sailor Moon shouted.
Crack!
"What was that?!" Hime shouted, and looked forward to see Sailor Moon's transformation disappear, causing Sailor Moon to disappear into the energy that appeared on the ground. Sailor Moon's transformation brooch with the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou inside still glowed.
Luna ran towards Usagi, and grabbed Usagi's hand just as Usagi disappeared, causing Luna to disappear as well.
"Sailor Moon!" Hime shouted worriedly.
Sailor Moon was moving in mangeta-colored energy, and was holding Luna in her arms.
"Luna, sorry for being hesitant in some situations! What am I doing?!" Sailor Moon asked as Maboroshi no Ginzuishou created a golden glowing ball of energy around her.
"Princess, remember that Maboroshi no Ginzuishou follows your heart's desire", Queen Serenity said, appearing transparently in front of Usagi. "Your strong will to protect your friends and loved ones has made you a strong warrior. Part of that is the fact that you were reborn on Earth as a normal girl before you could take on your role as Sailor Senshi".
"Thank you, Queen Serenity...Mother!" Sailor Moon said with a smile as Maboroshi no Ginzuishou glowed more.
"Stop it!" Haruka yelled at the Cardian. Haruka felt bad that she couldn't help her princess now.
Cardian approached Haruka.
"Looking at the beauty of cherry blossoms is meant to make others happy!" Someone suddenly shouted, and then energy appeared from the ground, from which Sailor Moon, and Luna appeared.
"Sailor Moon!" Hime shouted in disbelief. He was happy that Sailor Moon was okay, but at the same time he was angry that he couldn't help Sailor Moon now.
Sailor Moon started dodging Cardian's attacks again.
Zha! Someone threw a red rose at Cardian's face, wounding Cardian, causing him to stop.
"You're ruining other people's enjoyment of seeing the cherry blossoms", Tuxedo Kamen said, standing on the branch of one of the trees.
"Tuxedo Kamen!" Sailor Moon smiled. Looking at the moon, which was now shining brighter than before, Sailor Moon saw a staff falling from the moon. The staff was pink, topped with a red ball with what appeared to be a crown around it.
"Right! This was the Cutie Moon Rod that Queen Serenity used when she was a princess!" Sailor Moon thought as she picked up the wand as she remembered hearing about the wand from Queen Serenity shortly after Princess Tsuki was born. Sailor Moon raised her wand towards Cardian, who was rubbing her face where the rose had hit earlier:
"Moon Princess Halation!" A golden energy quickly appeared from Sailor Moon's wand and hit Cardian as Cardian looked at Sailor Moon.
"Aaaah!" Cardian shouted, disappearing, turning into a card as the energy-stealing traps below Sailor Moon's friends disappeared.
"Unbelievable!" Chibiusa shouted in disbelief.
"Thank you, Queen Serenity...Mother", Sailor Moon said looking towards the moon, seeing the transparent silhouette of Queen Serenity there like the others, smiling before disappearing.
"I don't know what just happened, but I'm glad it did", Hime said, sitting up on the ground.
