A/N: THIS IS A TEST.

Apparently new chapters aren't appearing properly all across the site; meaning that we post them, but no dice they don't appear. I'll also have a big announcement for you all tomorrow around noon with the update of Practice Makes Perfect. I'm quite anxious about it! See you all soon!

...provided the site works, of course.

So here we go. The fate of this story depends on you, the reader. Your feedback determines the fate of this tale, and many others.

As ever, I own no quotes, references, themes or memes. Not a wit or one. They're tributes, one and all.

I'm just a humble author trying to make his way in this wild world, one word at a time.

Time and feedback will determine if this remains a story. Simple as that.

In other words...its up to YOU, the reader. Do let me know~!

Spoilers for Shadow of the Erdtree; vague as they are.

"Don't you tell me what I can and can't do!"

Drink Up

"Rough day?"

Messmer creaked an eye open atop his throne.

That annoying blond was back, from beyond the shadows.

But this time, he had come bearing gifts. Today, he clutched a flagon of wine in one hand, and a barrel full of...what was that? Such a strange smell emanated from it that he couldn't help but lean forward. It was clearly food of some sort, bathed in broth with a great many noodles, but what were they?

.

..

...and why did he find himself eager to eat them?

No! Focus! He would not fall for his tricks, not as the others had.

He scowled at this boy with the Grace of Gold, this Elden Lord of the light. "You cannot possibly make friends with a monster."

Naruto beamed at him. "Says who? You? I've befriended worse."

Messmer scoffed. "...you have not."

"I so have!"

A/N: Test complete! See you tomorrow!

No previews this time. I'm exhausted. Aaaand there we go. As ever, reviews keep me alive. Without them, I cannot write.

So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...Review...Would You Kindly?

Hope you enjoyed this, and may your day be filled with lots of luck!

Warm regards,

~Nz.
