The Riverian: We would've made the cast bigger if Izzy wasn't around to return in the seventh episode. And who would be the World Tour newcomers is a surprise, but your guessed are good.
acosta perez jose ramiro: Heh.
Boys: Ripper, Topher
Girls: Anne Maria, Jasmine, MK
Episode 21: Rock n' Rule
"Last time on Total Drama Action. Ripper took a big bite of whodunnit in our most mysterious episode yet."
"After the contestants cracked the code of Chris' mysterious message, they stealthily had to fetch prints and DNA from each other."
"A party reward on a train quickly turned into a hunt for my murderer. And Jasmine was declared the Sherlock-iest of them all, and as compensation for accusing her, she invited Anne Maria to the movies, even if a certain conversation made things awkward."
"Will Topher step up to the mantle of villain?" The recap ended on a still shot of a large screen set up by the amphitheater, currently showing a smirking Topher against a teal background. "Or will MK keep dethroning him and continue to run amuck?" Topher's picture slid away, and was replaced by a sneakily grinning MK against a gray background. "Am I even cooler now that I'm alive again?" Chris asked as the camera cut to him eating popcorn with his rubber double. "Find out," he accidentally knocked the dummy over, "on this episode of!" The scene flashed away again, now showing the host standing at his usual spot outside the cast trailers. "Total! Drama! Action!"
(Theme Song)
The episode opened with a shot of the sky, a small flock of birds flying off into the distance before the camera panned down to male deer grazing in a grassy field. Somewhere off-screen somebody began to whistle a jazzy tune, attracting the deer's attention. It was joined by a couple chipmunks poking their heads up from behind a rock and a large tuft of grass, but the animals soon lost interest and darted away.
The scene quick-panned over to the area outside the communal bathrooms as the door slammed open, scaring another male deer off. The whistler revealed herself as MK when she strolled outside. Her hair was wrapped with a towel and she was wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around her body. She continued to whistle proudly as she strutted along all the way back to her trailer, bursting inside and immediately attracting the attention of Anne Maria and Jasmine.
"You're in an extremely good mood this morning," Jasmine commented as she put the finishing touches on her ponytail.
"What can I say?" MK shrugged. "I had a good night's sleep for once and even though I didn't win the last challenge, it was pleasant enough to not have Anne Maria winning again."
"Are you jealous or something?" Anne Maria asked as she applied mascara in front of the room's mirror.
MK snorted, the camera focusing on her as she pulled her jacket on. "You've won two challenges in a row, one of which the rules were changed to give you a shot of invincibility."
"At least I'm not cheating in the challenges," Anne Maria argued. "That's something you'd likely do just to get your way."
"Quit it!" Jasmine spoke up. "There's no plausible way that the game is rigged in Anne Maria's favor, so quit acting butthurt over not scoring an immunity win, MK!"
Confessional: MK
"And this is coming from a girl who still can't find it in herself to talk to her supposed crush ever again," MK snarked.
Confessional Ends
The shot cut outside, then panned over to the guys' trailer and zoomed inside to Ripper and Topher.
"I wish Jasmine picked me to come see the movie with her," Ripper told his roommate. "I heard that the popcorn here is coated with extra butter."
"And why does that interest you?" Topher asked.
"Me and my family like to butter up our food in order to make it tastier," Ripper explained. "Anything else would just-"
He was interrupted by the sudden sound of drums coming from outside the trailer. The camera cut to what was obviously Chef Hatchet playing a set at a fast pace, then to the doorways of each trailer as the castmates stepped out with annoyed looks on their faces.
Chef was shown playing again for a second, the camera pulling back to show Chris standing nearby with a bland smile on his face that turned into a wince when Chef finished his set with a sharp crash of the cymbals.
"Nice of you to join us," Chris said after quickly recovering; the camera pulled back again to show all five castmates gathered around him. "Today's movie genre is," he looked aside to Chef, "drumroll please!" The hulking drummer obliged, but went on longer than the host anticipated. "Okay, Ringo," Chris said in annoyance. "Spotlight's not big enough for the both of us."
Chef looked at the host, then stopped the drumroll. "Today's movie genre is," Chris began again, only for Chef to start the drumroll back up – but end it when the host swiftly glared at him. "The Rock n' Roll Biopic!"
Ripper's face lit up. "Rock and roll? Now that's my kind of music!"
"I know, right? The beats are extremely fun to hack into and improvise!" MK chimed in, only for the two to stare at each other in surprise and turn their heads away.
Confessional: Ripper
"I come in handy when playing an electric guitar," Ripper said. "The other instruments in rock bands don't get as much attention, and I'm not second rate at all."
Confessional Ends
"Any good Rock n' Roll Biopic starts with a kid from humble beginnings," Chris explained with his usual smile, the shot pulling back out to show the full cast, "drawn into the seemingly-glam world of rock music. After overcoming enormous hardship, the kid gets a break, and makes it ginormous! Bigger than me, even!"
"The kid is then drawn in to a scandalous world of stuff I'm not allowed to talk about with sixteen-year-olds," he continued. "Things that lead to dangerous addictions, multiple divorces, the occasional night in the joint, and an untimely death. While sitting on a toilet."
Rather than the makeup trailer confessional, the static cut the scene to the control tent where Chris was already waiting with a somber look on his face. "Please, do not try any of the aforementioned at home," he pleaded to the camera, "or I will be sued. And, would be unable to afford the maintenance of this fabulous smile!" A lilting tune played as the camera zoomed in and the host smiled, his teeth twinkling in the light.
Confessional: Jasmine
"Rest in peace, Elvis Presley," Jasmine said mournfully. "It's a shame what constipation can do to a man with a bright career."
Confessional Ends
"A few things that any certifiable rock god needs to know that I can talk about?" Chris resumed his explanation as an electric guitar riff began in the background. "You need to know how to rock out on the guitar, work the paparazzi," he put on a pair of sunglasses, "and trash a hotel room." He tossed the shades away and laughed. "Any questions?"
"Do we actually get to play on the guitars?" Topher asked, raising his hand.
"Are we gonna get real paparazzi?" Anne Maria followed up quickly.
"Are you going to answer our questions for once?" MK asked third.
"You'll see, no, and you're gonna have to get up way earlier to outsmart me," Chris smugly answered the questions.
"But what's with that plane that's been circling all over us this morning?" Jasmine asked, pointing up to the sky. The camera followed to show the same rickety plane from last season flying around in circles.
"Oh, I almost forgot about that," Chris said with a blank look. "I have an announcement to make! Because I'm the host, and can do whatever I want, I've decided to bring someone back to the show! Anyone have a guess at who it could be?"
"Is it Geoff?" Anne Maria asked with a hint of hope.
"I hope it's Millie," Jasmine said.
"I want Eva," Ripper commented. "There's no way I'm choosing Izzy after what she did to me."
"You're all wrong," Chris told them with a smile. "The person I'm bringing back is…" He looked up to the sky and a familiar shout caused the castmates to turn their attention as Chef began another drumroll.
The camera cut to the open sky, where Brick was shown falling with a camo green pack strapped to his back. With eyes closed in fear, the cadet pulled on a cord and a parachute deployed. He peeked one eye open, and sighed in relief when he noticed that he was no longer free falling.
The shot cut back to the astonished castmates as the army boy gently floated to the ground next to Anne Maria and Ripper.
"Ladies and gentleman," Chris announced. "Please welcome back... Brick!"
"Present and accounted for!" Brick said with his usual salute.
"So the Brickhouse is here!" MK said with a genuinely happy smile.
"Glad to see you all again," Brick said as he shook hands with both Ripper and Anne Maria.
"I didn't think that you'd be the one to return," Topher said as Brick came over to high-five him and MK. "But I'm cool with it. Besides, there are much worse choices."
"Much appreciated," Brick smiled and walked over to Jasmine, only to frown after seeing her turn away from him with apathy. "And… it's great to cross paths with you again."
"Feeling's sort of mutual," Jasmine replied.
Confessional: Brick
"I'm already aware of the fact that not everybody would be happy to see me return, Jasmine being one of, if not, the only person," Brick made his first confessional since his return. "I will make things right and not accept the change to our relationship."
Confessional: Jasmine
Jasmine took off her hat, buried her face into it, and let out a long sigh.
Confessionals End
"I know we don't have a problem with Brick coming back," MK said, "but why do we bother voting people out if they're just gonna bring them back later?"
"And it's not like Brick had any lawyers on his side," Topher added.
"Yeah, it's time to make a correction," Chris started to say. "You see, Topher's mother threatening to sue me wasn't the complete reason I brought Topher back. In fact, I didn't even care about that affecting me. I solely brought him back for drama and to fill up the season's runtime."
"Figures," Ripper muttered.
"Totally not out of character for you," MK chimed in.
"I could tell," Jasmine admitted.
"Not a surprise for me!" Anne Maria added.
"However," Chris said loudly, "because there hasn't been much tension lately, I decided to bring back Brick, who not only was in a secret alliance with a certain assistant, but ended off on bad terms with one of you."
"And you just couldn't pass that one up," Jasmine sniffed.
"Exactly," Chris nodded.
"Even if I was around for Brick's supposed alliance, I wouldn't have minded," Topher said. "He did make delicious food for you guys."
"But I'm going to play this game fair and square," Brick declared. "I don't want to look like a hypocritical liar in the audience's eyes."
Confessional: Brick
"During my time off the show, I was told of the rumor that MK tampered with the votes to get Izzy eliminated," Brick confessed. "Considering MK's attitude, I believed that rumor, and I'm going to find evidence so that she won't win unfairly. And I know I quit the game, but I was told that even if I didn't, I would've still gone home anyway because I had the most votes that time."
Confessional Ends
"Alright people," Chris told the cast, "time for your first big gig! Meet me at the big stadium in ten minutes. You can't miss it!"
Chef came running after him moments later, his drum kit banging and clanging as he carried it over his shoulder.
The footage skipped ahead to the six teens walking along some sidewalk. Ripper was out in front, followed by Anne Maria, Topher, MK, Brick, and Jasmine.
"Where the heck is the stadium?" MK asked.
"We should have used it by now," Jasmine added.
"I said ten minutes!" Chris suddenly said, looking at his wristwatch irately. "Not ten hours!"
The teens were shown walking up on some stage in front of a vividly-painted Rock-themed backdrop, complete with skull, fire, and guitars. "You told us to meet you at the big stadium," Anne Maria explained. "This is just the Gilded Chris Award theater!" The camera pulled back, revealing that it was in fact the amphitheater – the rock-themed stage had been set up on it, as well as the large screen seen during the intro recap at the start of the episode.
"And you might get dumped!" Chris countered sternly before a smile reformed on his face. "Not bad. First step to becoming a Rock legend is to show up late for your own show."
"That's nothing new to me," Ripper spat. "I'm usually late to my classes."
"For your first challenge," Chris told the cast, "you're gonna be rockin' out on the guitar!"
Topher immediately raised his hand. "What if we don't know how to play the guitar?"
"Or any instrument?" Brick added. "I do know how to play the trumpet though."
"Yeah, I already figured that none of you would be able to read music anyway," Chris explained. "So instead, you'll be playing a guitar-shaped peripheral. The notes will be represented by colored notes on the screen, which correspond to your guitar." He pointed up to it, and it showed an image of a fake electric guitar with flashing colored spots on the neck.
"You will play simultaneously, during which you'll be eliminated." The camera cut back to the group shot of the host and six castmates. "Every time you make a wrong note, bzzztt!" He mimed getting an electric shock.
"You're gonna fry us if we make a mistake?!" Topher asked in alarm.
"Me? Electrocute you?" Chris repeated slowly and impishly. "Of course not!" The six players looked momentarily relieved before Chris added "The guitar will electrocute you!" The castmates gasped, and the host laughed. "But don't worry, you'll live! Though you may never be able to play the piano again."
"Who cares? I don't even like pianos," Ripper said.
"Or pick your nose," Chris added, cracking a sly smile at the end.
Ripper's face fell into an unamused glare as he laughed sarcastically.
Chris rolled his eyes. "Some people just don't appreciate classic comedy."
Confessional: Anne Maria
"The last time I played an instrument," Anne Maria told the confessional camera, "I hit a note that causes headaches. I was banned from band class after that," a small smile formed on her lips, "but I never liked it, and I hit that note on purpose so I could switch over to chorus."
Confessional Ends
"Are you ready to rock out?!" Chris asked excitedly from his director's chair as an electric guitar riff played.
"Bring it on!" Ripper responded as the viewpoint shifted to show the contestants up on stage with their peripherals in hand. "I'm gonna shock this place wild!"
"Start the challenge so this bozo can shut up," Anne Maria said, causing the bully to blink in brief confusion.
"And...rock on!" Chris declared, the background music suddenly stopping as the castmates were shown looking up at the screen as one. They were lined up in order with Jasmine on the far left, then Anne Maria, then Topher, MK, Ripper, and lastly Brick on the far right.
The large screen's guitar began to flash as a hard rock song started up, and the contestants began to play. Anne Maria was focused on first, her face drawn into a look of concentration as her fingers rapidly struck the buttons on the face of her skull-shaped guitar. The camera then panned over to Ripper, playing at a similar pace on his black v-shaped instrument though with more enthusiasm. He took a few steps forward, then began to jump around a bit in an over-the-top fashion.
"Looks like Ripper's really getting into the rock n' roll groove," Chris commented before the bully started making short hops backward across the stage. Not looking where he was going, he ended up crashing right into Anne Maria – a screeching wail on their guitars sounded the two falling to the floor in a heap.
"Watch where you're going!" Anne Maria irately told the boy on top of her.
"You watch where you're going, pouf head!" Ripper countered.
They were promptly electrocuted by their peripherals, and the camera cut to a chuckling Chris. "They both shoulda been watching the music to me. Looks like we've got our first two losers!"
The flashing notes on the monitor were shown again, followed by a split-screen of Jasmine and Topher playing similarly well – Jasmine on a red-and-white electric guitar, Topher on an acoustic-like peripheral. After them, the camera cut to Brick playing, of all things, a banjo-shaped peripheral. He was trying to concentrate, but by the sounds playing around him, it was clear he was struggling. A few seconds later, a flat note sounded as the banjo electrocuted him.
MK was the next to be focused on, playing what seemed like every other note on a peripheral patterned like the Union Jack. "This rots," she muttered to herself, "but at least I'm still in this. Just need to pick up the pace." She began hitting more and more notes, her confidence and smile growing with each one.
Until her guitar exploded in a puff of smoke and sparks. She coughed lightly as air cleared, and the camera panned over to Topher and Jasmine – the only two left standing.
Each was playing surprisingly well, and every so often their eyes met one another. "Get ready to lose!" Jasmine told her competition.
"Not today. I'm going to win this challenge and the upcoming ones and get immunity for once!" Topher replied, and the two continued to duel. The camera cut from a close-up of one peripheral to the next, fingers hammering away on buttons without any noticeable mistakes. The four losers were shown off to the side of the stage, still lightly smoking but obviously enjoying the show.
"Rock on, Topher!" Anne Maria encouraged.
"Show him what you've got, Jasmine!" Brick called.
The camera cut to Topher playing his guitar while dancing like Elvis and to Jasmine as she played while kneeling on one leg. The song ended with a flourish of seemingly impossible notes that the two played perfectly, and Jasmine held her guitar over her head and smashed it on the ground.
"Nice one, Jasmine," Chris admonished. "You broke it."
"The power of rock got into my veins!" Jasmine replied. "I had to let loose."
"Impressive, both of you," Chris told them. "But! The winner is..." The camera pulled back as Chef began a drumroll behind the host. "Jasmine!"
"How!?" Topher protested. "We both hit every note. And I performed stellar dance moves."
"That you did," Chris agreed. "However, Jasmine's playing made for a much more entertaining and engaging show. And her guitar smashing added to it."
"If you smash your guitar, then how are the fans going to listen to anymore of the music that they came for?" Topher questioned.
"Most fans just come to see their favorite rock stars act like lunatics," Chris answered.
"Hey, no hard feelings?" Jasmine asked, holding out her hand.
"No need for the handshake," Topher said. "I'll have to work harder next time to get immunity."
"We'll be right back," Chris told the camera, "as soon as the contestants wind themselves up for what's to come next."
(Commercial Break)
The scene faded back in to a slew of camera flashes, courtesy of three people – one of which was clearly a yeti – raising their devices above a silhouetted crowd. Chef was shown at the end of the red carpet in his tux just as the limousine of losers drove up, and the camera panned across the mostly excited castmates. Chef opened the limo's door, and Chris stepped out in his baby blue tuxedo.
"Welcome back to the Rock n' Roll Biopic edition of Total Drama Action," he told the cameras, speaking into a microphone as he approached the cast. "Now, in order to become a true rock immortal, you must know how work the paparazzi."
A few dramatic notes played as the scene moved slightly, showing the amphitheater-stage in the background beyond the silhouetted crowd. The red carpet lay in front of the fake crowd, leading to a small building set on the left with a star on its door.
"The first part of your second challenge," Chris said as a few standees popped out of the ground at the end of the red carpet and slid down, "is an obstacle course of fans, photogs, groupies, and autograph hounds." The four standees were shown in a close-up: on the left was a tan-skinned young woman with mid-length hair and jean shorts holding a pen and pad of paper; next was another young woman dressed like an 80s-era groupie; to her right was a fat, stubbly white guy with a polka dot shirt, reporter's hat, and camera; at the far right was a third woman, with ginger hair, white skin, and a camera in her hands as well.
"You'll start at the Lame-o-sine," Chris told the cast. "Walk up the red carpet," the camera panned away to the left, "past the obstacles," the camera cut to the obstacle course, "and finally backstage." The shot panned to the backstage set with the star on the door. "One of you will win. The rest will be celebrity roadkill. Jasmine," he approached the girl, "for winning the first challenge, you get our backstage pass," he handed her a pass, "so, you'll start halfway."
Confessional: Jasmine
"This isn't even a real backstage pass," Jasmine told the confessional camera, the pass already around her neck. "It just looks like one." She looked down at it, and began to read. "All Access Membership, Buff and Tone Spa?"
Jasmine gave the camera a confused look, but was even more surprised when Chris – seemingly shirtless but with a towel around his shoulders – leaned into the shot. "Yeah, I'm gonna be needing that."
Confessional Ends
The footage resumed with a shot of MK, Anne Maria, Brick, Jasmine, and Topher sitting in director's chairs at the end of the red carpet, their eyes on the limo off-screen.
"Okay," Chris said from his spot next to Topher, "Ripper, you're up first." The camera panned to the limo as the door opened and the music began to build into the usual tense and fast-paced challenge piece. "Aaannd...action!"
Ripper ran out like a bolt. "Ripper's on the move," Chris commentated, the shot cutting to the bully as the fat man standee popped up in her path. "A paparazzi!" Ripper quickly frowned and ducked slightly, avoiding the camera's line of sight without losing his momentum. "Quick maneuvering!"
Ripper didn't so much as look back as he kept charging ahead, and was soon stopped by another standee – the shorts-wearing girl. "Autograph hound!" Chris announced. "Will he sign?" Ripper stopped and seemed to consider it for a second with a chauvinistic grin, then shook his head and moved on. "He won't! Too busy for the fans."
Only a few more feet down, two more standees popped up – the red-haired woman and the fat man again. "Ooh! The tricky pap-cam-fan attack!" Chris said with a sly look. "Will he make it?" Ripper paused in front of them just long enough to crack a light smile as they each took a photo, and waved them off and resumed his sprint. "Ripper takes the easy route with a light smile-and-wave combo."
The bully kept running, not even glancing when the groupie standee popped up. "Followed by a cold shoulder to the groupie!" Chris commented. Next in his path was a standee of a smirking white man in a white shirt with a bag hung on his outstretched hand. Ripper paused to consider it for a moment, then took the bag and moved on. "And a clean swag-bag-grab!" the host said as the standee retreated into the ground. "Nice!"
A few moments later, a waiter popped up holding a tray of what looked like some kind of small sandwich. Ripper swiped one of the hors-d'oeuvres while he ran. "And a snack to go!" Chris said as the standee slid back down.
"Final obstacle: the vet!" the host said as a standee of a large and imposingly bald white man popped up just in front of the door.
Ripper eyed him up and down. "If you don't let me through," he said in a threatening tone, "I'll make sure you're in a wheelchair for a month." He smiled confidently as the bouncer-standee promptly retracted, and the background music peaked triumphantly.
"Spoken like a true power-player," Chris said as Ripper ran into the backstage room. "Nice moves," he added, walking up to him from the opposite side of the set as he finished his hors-d'oeuvre. "And good call on grabbing the swag. Lucky for you, you get to keep what's inside."
With a curious look on his face, Ripper dug through the bag he was holding – and quickly took out a book with a picture of Chris' smiling face on the cover. "My autobiography," the host explained to him, "Volume I."
Confessional: Ripper
"That swag was lame," Ripper confessed. "He should've included a mirror into it if he was so self-centered." His joking demeanor was quickly dropped when a hand mirror with Chris' picture plastered onto the reflective surface was tossed onto the counter in front of him. "Really?" Ripper asked in disbelief.
Confessional Ends
"Jasmine, you're up!" Chris told the Aussie, the two standing a little ways up the red carpet together. "Remember, you get to skip the Lame-o-sine and half the red carpet. Annndd...action!"
At the host's words, Jasmine got into position and dashed down the red carpet. The fast-paced challenge music resumed, and the Outback girl was quickly confronted by the pair of photog standees. "The tricky pap-cam-fan attack!" Chris narrated as Jasmine slowed down. "What's the girl gonna do?"
Jasmine smiled and waved at the standees as she walked past. "A smile-and-wave, fairly textbook move from the Outback girl," Chris commented as the girl in question picked up her pace briefly before getting stopped by the autograph hound. Jasmine paused in a moment's indecision, then smiled and signed the notepad. "And she follows it up with a not-so-quick autograph!"
The groupie popped up next, and once again Jasmine kept a reasonable pace while smiling and waving at the cardboard girl. "Another smile-and-wave," Chris said.
Jasmine came upon the waiter, shook her head politely, and walked away. "Another pause, but she decides against the canapé!" Next came the man holding the gift bag. Jasmine was in thought for a moment, then smiled and took it. "But she takes the swag!"
Lastly was the bouncer, and Jasmine came to a complete stop in front of him. "Looks like she's been held up!" the host said, now narrating from the backstage set.
"Okay, I have a backstage pass," Jasmine held up the pass around her neck, "and you've got another thing coming if you're not gonna let me in." The standee relented and Jasmine breathed a sigh of relief.
She walked backstage with a smile on her face, and was immediately greeted by a grinning Chris. "Glad to see you've finally made it," he told her. "Though I gotta say, you were too polite! You gotta be rude if you want to make it in the rock and roll biz!"
"I don't even want to be a rock star," Jasmine said flatly.
"Better luck next time," Chris told her. "Next!"
The scene flashed back over to the limousine as the door opened and Brick stepped out. He waved at the camera with a grin on his face, then started making his way up the red carpet with continued waves to the crowd. He soon came across the first standee – the fat photographer – and smiled broadly right as a flash went off. Now dazed, he stumbled forward a step and bumped into the standee with enough force to snap the cardboard cutout in two.
"Sorry!" Brick quickly said, picking up the top half of the standee and leaning it against its lower body. With a sheepish smile on his face he backed up...and immediately knocked into the woman photographer, breaking it as well. "My apologies!" he repeated, picking that standee's pieces back up, then continuing on his way only to break the autograph-seeking standee as well.
The shot cut to an unamused Chris as another crash was heard, and the host looked at the camera. And so continued the cadet's trail of destruction as he moved through the carpet.
Finally he arrived backstage, and Brick groaned at his failure. Chris shook his head at the boy in disappointment, while Jasmine hesitated at first, but placed a consoling hand on his shoulder, which cheered him up a bit.
Confessional: Jasmine
"I'm still upset with Brick, but I'm not petty enough to ignore him when he made a disastrous mistake," Jasmine said to the audience. "And so far, he hasn't done anything deceitful yet."
Confessional Ends
Chris and Chef were shown standing by the bouncer which had been duct taped back together courtesy of a roll in Chef's hands. "Next!" Chris called, and the camera panned down the red carpet – showing that the other standees had been similarly repaired. MK was the next out, and she smirked confidently.
The challenge music resumed once more, and the techno girl took off at a sprint. One by one the standees popped up along the carpet – the two paparazzi fans, the autograph hound, the groupie, the swag-bearer, and the waiter – and all were met with the same response: absolutely nothing. MK ran past each and every one without so much as a glance their way, and when she got to the bouncer, she merely punched him in the chest, snapping it in two in a separate spot than before, then walked through the door backstage.
"How was that for a record time?" MK cockily asked the host and his assistant. Chris just shook his head, and Chef readied another length of duct tape.
The limousine was shown again, and a drumroll led up to Anne Maria bursting out the door. "No need to wait! The bling master herself has arrived!" the Jersey girl announced to the world before standing up and strutting confidently down the red carpet. She struck a few poses for the pap-cam-fan-attack, then walked off.
"Oh yeah, have I got the goods or what?!" she told herself before being stopped by the autograph-seeker. She looked her up and down, then walked off dismissively. "You want my autograph, you gotta earn it." The groupie was next, and she gave her a quick wink before moving on. The waiter and swag-handler she shook her head at and waved off, and she scoffed when she saw the bouncer.
"You're not going to stop me!" she said, barging past the musclebound standee – but not actually breaking him again. She stepped inside, and shook hands with a smiling Chris.
Finally, Topher's turn had arrived, and in place of the normal challenge music, he was accompanied by a more trendy techno tune. He stepped out of the limousine with a confident pose, and walked down the red carpet with a look of pride. He stopped at the two photographers and posed for many, many pictures, then signed his autograph at the next standee without even stopping.
He strutted the rest of the way down the red carpet, waving at the groupie then swiping his swag bag and an hors-d'oeuvre without blinking. At the bouncer, he finally stopped, gave the man a stuck up smile, and shoved him out the way completely. The fanboy entered the backstage set with a confident grin, which widened when he was met by a thumbs-up from the host.
A few more pictures were snapped by the hands raised above the fake crowd, and the camera pulled back to show Chef eagerly handing an envelope to Chris on the red carpet. "And now, the moment you've all been waiting for!" Chris announced, turning to the castmates as the background music became tense. "The photographic evidence! Let's see your best shots, shall we?"
The viewpoint moved over his shoulder as he took a stack of photographs out of the envelope. "Ripper evaded," the top picture showed the bully just barely in the corner of the frame; "Jasmine hesitated," the first picture was slid off, revealing a shot of the Outback girl looking uncertain about something underneath; "Brick crashed...natch," the next photo showed the cadet falling towards the camera with a panicked look on his face; "MK dashed," the only thing of the techno girl in the picture was her right leg as she ran past the paparazzi; "Anne Maria posed," the Jersey girl's picture showed her winking to the camera; "And Topher posed harder." The final photo showed the fanboy with his hands on his hips.
"Which means we have a winner!" Chris declared, dropping the pictures back into the envelope. Each contestant was shown looking expectantly, but when the host announced "Topher!" the camera panned to him as he celebrated.
"A satisfactory job I did!" Topher smirked.
"Hey, I did the best job avoiding those people!" MK said.
"Who said you were supposed to avoid the photogs?" Chris asked slyly. "The paparazzi means exposure, and although Anne Maria's run was good, Topher exposed himself better with his fan management."
"Topher wins an advantage in the next part of the challenge," Chris continued, "where you'll compete for invincibility."
"Finally," Chris said, having changed back into his usual outfit, "the ultimate rockstar challenge: trashing the hotel room." The camera pulled back, revealing that the host and cast were now standing in an entirely different set, one made up to look like a rather drab-colored hotel room with a single red full-sized bed.
"You've got thirty seconds on the clock," the host continued, "with Topher getting an additional ten for having won the first part of the challenge." The camera focused on the blonde boy as he smiled smugly. "Aaaaannd...action!" Chris quickly stepped away from the set, and the six castmates slowly dispersed around the room.
The scene pulled back, transitioning to the few from the control tent monitors watched by Chef Hatchet, who'd also changed back into his standard attire.
The campy whistling tune began as the contestants went to work trashing the place. First up was Jasmine as she approached a table with an old-fashioned rotary phone and a pencil on it. She picked up the pencil and phone and chucked them on the floor.
The shot cut to Chris and Chef inside the control tent; the latter looked at the former, and the host shook his head disappointedly and wrote something down on a notepad.
Next was Anne Maria, who was standing next to a dresser with a lamp, picture frame, and mirror on top of it. She took the picture of the host in his blue tux, and threw it on the ground. Chris was shown glaring at something before jotting down a few more notes.
The scene cut to Brick next to a small couch. He took off one of the cushions, then stopped and started digging for something.
Confessional: Brick
"I found three dollars worth of coins," Brick explained. "I'm not keeping them for myself though. Someone could've lost what was rightfully theirs."
Confessional Ends
The footage cut back first to Chef and Chris watching with interest, then to Ripper as he knocked a small television set onto the floor. He then turned to a nearby pot then kicked it, somehow splitting the thing in two. The top half crashed into a wall. He grinned and crossed his arms, and Chris was shown nodding in approval.
Suddenly, MK burst through one of the walls. She smirked at the dresser Anne Maria was near earlier and picked the whole thing up, then threw it out of a window at the other side of the room. Ripper barely missed being hit with it and glared at his rival.
MK then jumped up and grabbed a boom mic, snapped it off with a small shower of sparks, and swung it into a nearby wall like a hammer. The force knocked down the wall and started a chain reaction that knocked the other walls down. And for added measure, she tore the sheets and pillows from the bed in the center of the room.
Chris stepped up with a stopwatch in his hand and called "Time! Topher, you now have an additional ten seconds," he told him. "Go!" He pressed the button on the stopwatch, and Topher just stood there with a blank look on his face. "I see your predicament. Thanks to MK, there's nothing left to destroy. Which means, MK wins invincibility!"
"Yeah!" MK cheered.
"Now," Chris said in a more impish tone, "you've gotta decide who gets booted from the band!" Brick and Topher shared a look.
Confessional: MK
"I'm normally not an aggressive person, but I had to act the part so that I could win and showcase myself as a valuable player," MK bragged.
Confessional Ends
A deeper track began to play as the footage flashed forward to a shot of the full moon shining brightly over the film lot. The camera panned down to Jasmine sitting on the steps of the girls' trailer until she saw Brick marching up towards her.
"Brick, what are you here for?" she muttered.
"I just wanted to talk to you," Brick said as he took a seat next to her.
"So you could apologize to me for cheating?" Jasmine said.
"You have no idea how much I regretted my actions," Brick sighed. "I not only hurt you, but I hurt everybody else, including my family. I know I can't get you to forgive me in a flash, and I am truly sorry for what I did, but how can I start getting back on your good graces? I'll do anything."
"Well…" Jasmine began to think, "you can start by voting for who me, MK, and Ripper want to vote off tonight."
"And who could that be?" Brick wondered before Jasmine whispered in his ear.
Confessional: Anne Maria
"With MK immune for tonight, me and Topher are going to vote off Jasmine," Anne Maria explained in the make-up confessional. "I really wanted to pick off Ripper, but Topher does make a good point about our chances increasing if Jasmine goes."
As she continued her confessional, the music slowed down and deepened as the camera pulled back outside, then panned around the trailer to show MK with her ear pressed up to a drinking glass held against the wall.
The scene quickly flashed away to the communal bathrooms just as a toilet flush rang through the air. It was followed briefly by the sound of running water, and moments later, Ripper walked confidently out the door. He paused to scratch his butt as the door swung shut, and with a dramatic musical spike, MK was revealed to be standing against the wall behind where it had opened out to.
"Good evening," she said simply.
"Gah!" a startled Ripper replied, quickly turning around to see MK. "What do you want?" he asked harshly.
"Not much," MK answered. "I just want us to vote for Jasmine tonight."
Ripper raised an eyebrow. "And why should we do that?"
"With Brick back in the game, those two could likely make up and be friendly again," MK said. "Plus, Jasmine would easily beat either of us in the final two."
"I'm in," Ripper accepted. "You already have immunity, Brick isn't as tough as Jasmine, and Anne Maria and Topher are easy pickings."
"Consider this our enemy mine," MK told him with a pleased smile.
The Gilded Chris Awards began with all their usual fanfare. "Now, for total drama," Chris said from his podium as soon as the intro sequence ended. "Six left, one must go! And, it won't be MK." MK was sitting in the middle row next to Brick, with Jasmine and Ripper above them and Topher and Anne Maria below.
"Or Brick for that matter, as he's only just returned, so he's immune as well," Chris added. The cadet smiled, and all six teens held up their voting devices.
Topher and Anne Maria cast their votes and smiled at each other. Ripper and MK both voted with grins on their faces, and Jasmine and Brick both had accepting looks and voted at the same time.
Chris looked to his right, where Chef was waiting in his pink dress holding a number of statuettes. "Alright!" he announced. "The Gilded Chris Award goes to MK and Brick!" The first two statues were tossed, and the two caught them easily.
A dramatic pause, and the host called out the next two names. "Topher and...Ripper!" The two accepted their awards eagerly.
The camera focused first on Jasmine, then on Anne Maria. Both of them looked surprised.
"Only one left," Chris said. "The final Gilded Chris goes to...," The bottom two stared at the host more nervously than before.
"Anne Maria!" the host announced as the final statuette was tossed into the girl's overjoyed hands. "Jasmine's going bye-bye!"
Jasmine stood up and gasped. "But how?!" she asked in disbelief. "Did you two seriously vote me out after everything we've been through together?" She cast MK and Ripper accusatory looks.
"MK was the one who told me to vote for you," Ripper shrugged.
"And though we are in an alliance, I decided to take you out before you could triumph over any of us," MK said.
"I should've known that this would come from you two," Jasmine spat at them.
"Then you should've been on guard like you usually are rather than holding a grudge towards Brick over something that he apologized for," MK teased.
Jasmine was about to respond, but fell silent after hearing that.
"Jasmine, I am sorry about this," Brick apologized.
"You don't have to apologize for any of this," Jasmine said. "This elimination was completely my fault. I should've just forgiven you instead of holding onto my grudge. Had I done so, we could've voted differently."
"I did vote for the person that you wanted to leave," Brick said back, "and even though I haven't earned your forgiveness completely-"
"You don't have to worry about me being mad at you anymore," Jasmine consoled him. "What's done is done, and I want you to prove yourself and win the season for me."
At those words, the two shared a goodbye hug.
The traditional solemn and somber departure music began to play as the footage flashed forward to Jasmine heading out down the Walk of Shame. She lingered and turned to face the others. "Brick, I hope you go all the way to the end. Topher and Anne Maria, keep on fighting. And Ripper and MK, you will get your just desserts soon."
While MK and Ripper looked uninterested, the other three gave her goodbye waves.
"Goodbye mates!" Jasmine said, finishing with a smile as she started walking down the red carpet again.
The scene skipped ahead to Jasmine giving one last wave before getting into the loser's limousine and speeding off, and Chris McLean walked into view and the main capstone theme began to play. "And on that note, TDA says goodbye to its most headstrong player. Tune in next time for another hot rockin' episode of, Total! Drama! Action!"

"And just like that, I'm out of the game," Jasmine told the camera while at the back of the limo. "And right when Brick came back too. My cage fighting flower shop school will have to be on hold for now. I know the concept sounds silly, and tree barks aren't realistic enough to get into scuffles with daisies, but I want my passions to be discovered by people all over the world. Outside of the alliance incident, I think my biggest mistake was starting an alliance with two untrustworthy people because I had high hopes of making it to the end," she delved. "But you know the saying; keep friends close and enemies closer!"

Author's Note: Brick had unfinished business so I had to bring him back. As for eliminating Jasmine in the episode he just came back in, we didn't want both couples making it far so Ripper and MK were pretty much guaranteed safe and there's still stuff to be done with Topher and Anne Maria so Jasmine got the short end of the stick.
