Chapter 11

Rukia hugged Ashido's family and introduced Ichigo as her employer. Ichigo was of course lovely and turned up the charm for Ashido's mother and sister. Rukia asked for an update and Sei told Rukia that he had broken ribs, a messed up face, a fractured jaw and internal bleeding. Rukia almost fell to her knees in shame as Ashido slept unaware of what was going on. Sei and Kim hugged Rukia tightly and they each comforted each other. Ichigo had stepped out when he got a phone call. Sei and Kim commented on how attractive Ichigo was, making Rukia blush a bit. Han on the other hand shook his head at the girls.

"He's been in and out mostly sleeping which is good. We just came to visit him for a few. I have classes soon and Mom and Dad have work as well but we just wanted to spend our lunch break with Ashido." Sei stated.

Rukia nodded and smiled, "Of course I'll be back when I can to check on him and you guys please keep me posted."

Kim nodded, "Of course we will Rukia, you're family sweetie."

Rukia hugged them all once more before departing and looking for Ichigo. He was talking to his Brother which surprised Rukia. She wondered why he was there. While Ichigo wore a nice pair of slacks and white polo shirt, Shiro contrasted him by wearing a pair of blue jeans and black graphic shirt. They seemed to have been in deep conversation when Rukia finally walked up to them. Shiro gave her a scary smile while Ichigo gave her a worried look.

"Is everything okay?"

Rukia nodded, "Yeah it's a lot seeing him like that."

"Hmm so King I'll be on the lookout for you. I'm going to go talk to Uryu." Shiro stated.

Ichigo nodded, "Alright oh and we're going on that business trip soon, tell Uryu to give you the details."

"Ooo where are we going? I love business trips!" Shiro exclaimed.

Ichigo glared and gave his brother a look. Shiro rolled his eyes and walked away without saying another word. Rukia looked at Ichigo confused but he simply smiled at her and asked what she would want for breakfast. Rukia shrugged, she really didn't know she was so used to Oko's food that she didn't really want to eat anything other than his food. Ichigo smiled and grabbed Rukia's hand gently and led her to the car. She was surprised when Ichigo took her to an expensive restaurant. Her eyes widened as Ichigo opened the door for her and she felt extremely under dressed. She was wearing a simple pair of blue jeans and an overly large baggy shirt. Her hair was messy and she wasn't wearing any makeup once so ever. She asked Ichigo if they could just go to a small restaurant but he just smiled.

"Rukia let me treat you to a nice breakfast."

She nodded and let Ichigo escort her inside. The moment they stepped foot into the restaurant they were greeted and immediately escorted to a private booth away from everyone else. A waiter came over. He was tall, had black hair and a sweet charismatic smile.

"Hey, my name is Masayoshi. I'll be your server today. What can I get you started to drink?"

Ichigo cleared his throat, "I'll have a coffee, two creamers and three sugars. I'll have the meat lovers omelet and a side hashbrown. I want bacon and sausage as well and two slices of toast."

Masayoshi rigorously wrote everything down and made sure to repeat back to Ichigo twice just to verify the order was correct. He then looked at Rukia and she was scrambling to pick something. She had slight anxiety when attention was put on her but she skimmed through the menu, gave her best smile and ordered the most basic menu items.

"Can I get an orange juice and some pancakes and a side of bacon please."

Masayoshi nodded, smiled, grabbed their menus and scurried off. Rukia saw Ichigo giving her a look.

"I'm paying so you know you can order what you want."

Rukia snorted, "I'm not one for wasting money or food."

Ichigo chuckled, "I appreciate that."

Not even five minutes later Masayoshi ran out and gave Ichigo and Rukia their drinks he bowed and then ran back to the back. Rukia frowned and then looked at Ichigo. He had a nonchalant look on his face as he fixed up his coffee. Rukia sipped her orange juice and almost passed out with how good it was. It tasted as if it was just freshly squeezed. Rukia took this opportunity to talk to Ichigo more and to get to know him better.

"Thank you for taking me to see Ashido. He looks better than he did the day before even if it is just slightly. Umm so how is work?"

Ichigo grinned, "Work is being a bit difficult but my cousin Uryu the one who is the director at the hospital Ashido is at. He actually figured out a problem I needed to solve so he's resolving it the best way he can."

Rukia nodded, "It's nice when you can depend on family."

"Sure is oh speaking of so in a month during the kids little winter break we are going to the hot springs in the mountains and it's a big event. You will obviously be there to watch my girls when needed. It's more so a family business trip." Ichigo explained.

Rukia nodded, "Oh of course. Oh wow I just noticed it's November I've been your Nanny since the middle September time flies. It feels like a week ago I just started."

Ichigo was going to say something but their food had just arrived. Rukia could feel her mouth watering at Ichigo's mounds of food. Her pancakes looked good too and her bacon looked fresh but Ichigo's food looked delicious. Rukia thanked Ichigo, drowned her pancakes in syrup and then dug in. The food was amazing and it made Rukia want to cry in happiness as she ate. Ichigo got a big scoop of his omelet and held his fork out for Rukia. Rukia gave him a look and blushed, shaking her head.

"Oh come on you've been subtly eyeing my food just try it I don't have cooties I promise."

Rukia could feel her face getting even redder as she leaned in and ate the food off the fork. She chewed and savored every bite. She thanked Ichigo and went back to her food. She felt horrible so she got a chunk of her pancake on a fork and gestured for Ichigo to try. Unlike her he didn't hesitate and made sure his whole mouth was on the fork. She blushed as Ichigo gave her a devilish smile. Breakfast was amazing. Masayoshi checked on them frequently asking if they needed anything and making sure Rukia and Ichigo never were low on their drinks. Once done Ichigo dropped a wad of hundreds without waiting for the bill and then escorted Rukia out. When they were in the car Ichigo started driving without saying a word. Rukia assumed they were going back to the house but was sorely mistaken when Ichigo pulled up in front of one of the many four story malls of Seireitei. Rukia gave Ichigo a confused look but he simply smiled at her and got out of the car. He didn't say anything as he escorted Rukia into the mall telling her anything she wanted he would buy there was no limit.

"Ichigo I-"

"Rukia let me thank you for taking care of my girls."

Rukia nodded and looked around and walked to different clothing stores. She got outfits for both her and her sisters. She then went to an art shop and got different paints and pastels as well. She then dragged Ichigo to a tech store and though she felt bad for how expensive it was she asked Ichigo if could buy the gaming pc. He simply nodded. Afterwards Rukia went to an appliance shop within the mall and asked if the deep freezer could be bought. Ichigo said nothing and simply paid for it. She told him to have it all sent to his aunt's house as well as some outfits to Byakuya's place as well. They spent hours in the mall just walking around laughing and looking in amazement at things. It was around three when Ichigo suggested lunch. Rukia agreed and Ichigo walked her to a burger shop. She ordered a salad and milk shake whereas Ichigo ordered a triple burger and fries along with a soda. Ichigo guided Rukia to a vacant spot in the mall and sat down and started eating. Rukia was amazed at Ichigo's appetite; he ate a lot. As Rukia slurped on her milkshake she could see Ichigo getting a bit uncomfortable. She sat up quickly wondering if she stunk or if she had something on her face. She cleaned her face and did a subtle sniff check just to make sure she didn't stink.

"So umm what's on the agenda tomorrow?" Ichigo asked.

Rukia sighed, "Welp waking the girls up tomorrow, getting them ready for school breakfast with them and then seeing them off for school."

"Okay and after that?"

"Oh then I'm going to visit Ashido and his family then probably visit Hisana at work tomorrow and surprise her with some pastries." Rukia explained.

Ichigo finished up his burger and smiled as he and Rukia threw their trash away. Ichigo then asked if there was anything else Rukia wanted and she simply shook her head. He walked her back to the car and started driving off.

"I have a meeting tomorrow at Byakuya's to save time you're more than welcome to come with me."

"Alright that sounds good."

Ichigo drove back to his house and helped Rukia with her two bags of clothes. Rukia waved to the security. Tsukune resisted the urge to run and hug Rukia along with some of the others since Ichigo was with her. Ichigo walked Rukia back in the house and asked if she wanted to go for a swim in the jacuzzi to relax for a bit before the girls got back home. Rukia gave Ichigo a look and stated how she felt.

"Is this a sex thing? Are you trying to get in my pants by buying me expensive gifts and pampering me?" Rukia asked.

Rukia turned red when Ichigo started laughing; she didn't feel like she said anything funny. It felt like hours watching Ichigo laugh at her to the point tears were coming out of his eyes. Rukia huffed and went to walk away but Ichigo grabbed her hand gently begging for her to stop.

"You watch a lot of movies. Now Rukia I just want to thank you. I truly appreciate you for everything you've done for me."

Rukia smiled and ran to change into some athletic shorts and black t-shirt. She was not going to wear a bathing suit in front of Ichigo. She walked to the jacuzzi and jumped in relaxing the moment the hot water touched her body. She closed her eyes and floated in the jacuzzi. No less than five minutes later Rukia felt another body enter the jacuzzi. She opened her eyes and then closed them quickly. Ichigo was wearing nothing but a pair of black swim trunks and these trunks showed a lot of indentations to his manhood.

"Rukia, you're a grown woman."

Rukia slowly opened her eyes and looked away as she let the power jets do their work.

"So Rukia tell me why aren't you married? From my observation you're a pretty good woman. I know I've asked this before but it just makes no sense to me why you're single."

Rukia stared Ichigo down and frowned, "Why are you single Ichigo? You seem like a good man, you're rich and have beautiful daughters as well."

Ichigo chuckled, "Well the women I date usually run in the same circles as me and our relationship becomes complicated afterwards."

Rukia nodded, "So Yumi's mother?"

"Yoshi was a prissy bougee woman, the same as Hana and Mia's mother. Unfortunately, unlike her Yoshi didn't know her place so the dreadful streets of Seireitei got her." Ichigo explained.

Rukia frowned, "Wait, I thought Seireitei was a safe and rich place."

Ichigo snorted, "Who told you that? No Seireitei does a good job in making it seem as if it's a nice safe place for the rich. It's actually pretty dangerous here especially at night. You never know who is looking, you never know people's intentions either. Of course where I am we are living in a safe part of Seireitei but there are districts here. Hueco Mundo is not the best place to go, it's more like a clubbing scene with a lot of crime at night. Dangai seems safe but at night a lot of crime happens. Las Noches once again is not the best place and some more districts here and there but you get the jest. Seireitei is safe in some areas but not all."

Rukia's eyes widened, "Wow I didn't know that is a lot of information to take in."

"Oh don't worry Rukia no one is going to mess with you…I am a very respectable doctor here so people tend to appreciate that."

"Ah ha that's why everyone seems scared of you; they simply respect you." Rukia concluded.

Ichigo nodded in agreement, "Yup and I get perks."

The two splashed in the jacuzzi a bit splashing water at each other. They lost track of time having fun together and seeing how long they could hold their breath. Rukia was getting a bit tired so she walked over to Ichigo and hugged him. Rukia felt Ichigo stiffen but smiled when Ichigo hugged her back.

"Thanks for everything Ichigo, I really appreciate you."

Rukia heard Ichigo mutter 'I'm sorry' under his breath and before she knew it his lips were on hers. Her eyes were big as he kissed her. It wasn't rough or deep, it was soft and gentle. Everything Ichigo has ever done was gentle. He may have a hard exterior but he was so soft inside and she couldn't help but kiss him back.

"Eww gross stop!"

Rukia broke away quickly as she saw a shocked Oko, Hana and Mia and a confused Ran'Tao along with a disgusted Yumi. She was glaring at Ichigo the whole time. Rukia turned red and got out of the jacuzzi quickly and greeted everyone. Hana, Mia, and Yumi all followed Rukia inside while Oko and Ran'Tao stayed behind. Rukia and the girls walked to her room and Rukia quickly dried off and changed.

The girls and Rukia all sat down and told her about their day. Hana and Mia told them about how they had a lot of math and reading homework and Yumi told her she had been getting compliments on her looks. Rukia had been styling Yumi's hair and bought her uniform skirts. Yumi wore them occasionally but she usually just wore more fitted pants. Yumi had asked if she could help her with her homework then Hana and Mia asked the same thing. Rukia nodded and told the girls to go get changed and meet her back in her room so they can go over homework. Mia and Hana had done great in taking baths but Yumi had taken over and started helping them and applying Hana's creams. Around five the girls all came back to Rukia's room in their pajamas and all settled in their own corner on the bed. Rukia turned on some soothing music and helped the girls with their homework. Sooner than later it was dinner time and the girls all ran to eat since they were starving. When they got to the table everyone sat in their respective places. Dinner was a simple dish of steak and beef potatoes. They all thanked Oko and dug in.

"So how was school?"

Hana smiled and told everyone about her A in math. Mia simply said she was hiding from Nelio the whole time since he was following her during recess. Everyone looked at Yumi and she cleared her throat and shrugged. Rukia nudged Yumi and she rolled her eyes.

"Well I got invited to this party on Saturday I'm not going." Yumi stated.

Rukia gasped, "What why? When I was younger I would've killed to get invited to parties."

"I don't want to embarrass myself. A fourth year invited me, he's eighteen." Yumi blushed and turned to Rukia completely forgetting about the others, "But he's soo my type his name is Mabashi he has this punk vibe to him that I totally relate to."

Rukia's eyes widened, "Woah eighteen you're only fifteen."

Yumi rolled her eyes, "I'll turn sixteen during winter break, that's like not even two months away."

"He's eighteen Yumi." Rukia stated.

Ichigo cleared his throat and the girls turned to him, seeing him giving Yumi a look.

"Rukia is right…but umm you're responsible and I trust you to make good decisions."

Rukia glared at Ichigo while Yumi simply sat back and nodded and continued eating. Rukia knew better than to say anything but she felt Yumi was way too young and vulnerable to be with an eighteen year old. Once the girls talked about their day everyone finished up eating and the girls all ran to finish their homework in Rukia's room. Rukia sighed and bowed, thanking Oko for dinner and ran after the girls. It took Rukia two hours to help the girls finish their homework. She walked the girls to their rooms and tucked them in. She walked Yumi to her room and hugged her telling her to have sweet dreams. Yumi hugged her back and wished her a goodnight. Rukia looked and saw it was only nine and decided to go out. She wasn't sleepy and that kiss had her mind all over the place so she grabbed a pair of shoes and decided to go for a walk. The guards were gone for the night; the gate was set to a code that Takoa gave her a while back. She decided to go for a stroll. She used to walk when she was younger to clear her head. Sometimes Shizuku and Homura would join her and sometimes Hisana and her would just walk together. It was nice.

Back at the estate Ichigo was being yelled at by Oko and Ran'Tao about his recklessness and how Rukia should not be dragged into anything. Ichigo listened and said nothing as he was getting yelled at.

"She is an innocent bystander in all of this! You will not get her involved in this." Oko screamed.

Ran"Tao agreed, "She's naive and has no idea what is going on here. She doesn't deserve to be involved in this life."

Ichigo sighed, "Look alright I don't understand my attraction to her. It's not just physical I can have sex with any woman but mentally she is there too. She gives me pep talks and she lights up my mood anytime I see her. I'm smitten. I wouldn't do anything to hurt her."

Oko went to say something but Yumi busted in the office, surprising everyone. She had tears in her eyes as she screamed hysterically. Ichigo, not knowing what to do along with Ran'Tao asked her what was wrong. Oko on the other hand comforted her and rubbed her back soothingly. He asked what was wrong. Yumi took a deep breath and looked at Oko.

"Rukia isn't in her room. I went to her room like I usually do around three so we could talk for a bit. She has such a weird sleep schedule and she's not there." Yumi screamed.

Ichigo was up and running while Oko and Ran'Tao made calls. Yumi went to run with Ichigo but Oko stopped her and told him to let them handle it. She nodded and waited in the living room scared for Rukia. She had called her three times but no answer.

Rukia was cursing herself as she walked down the street. It was easy to drive but not so much walk. She was lost and had no idea where to go to get back. She had been out for hours. At first she had found a cool little night restaurant where even though she was wearing her night clothes she felt comfortable. She ordered a coffee and apple pie and ate and sipped. No one was there aside from her so the waiters and waitresses would talk to her. Rukia was bored once she finished and asked if she could help with the baking staff obliged and Rukia happily made different pies and cakes for the morning. She stayed in the restaurant till twelve in the morning. The staff thanked her and Rukia was on her way. Her meal was free and they told her to come back anytime. Rukia yawned and continued walking where she found a cute little night store she walked in and was greeted by a lot of women wearing skimpy outfits and some almost half naked. She was feeling uncomfortable and turned back around but was stopped by a tall purple haired woman. She was looking Rukia down and frowned.

"Sorry not taking any new women."

Rukia gave a confused face, "I'm sorry? I saw the store and thought it looked cute and was thinking of shopping but I can see that there is something going on so I'll just leave."

The lady snorted, "It's hitting almost two in the morning. Do you expect me to believe you came in here for the decor?"

"Umm yes look I'll just leave sorry."

The lady watched as Ruki scurried out and ran away. Rukia was so mad she had no idea where to go and her phone was dead. She sighed as she tried to navigate herself not noticing the signs saying Dangai. Rukia huffed as she walked, not noticing the eyes of men on her. Rukia saw a dollar store and wondered if she could get a portable charger from there. She was starting to get tired. When she walked in there were a bunch of men staring lustfully at her making her feel uncomfortable. She decided to trust her instincts and walk out and run away. She wanted to cry because she was so lost and was not used to this part of Seireitei.

"Excuse me, you seem lost."

Rukia turned to see an average heighted dark haired man giving her a sweet smile. Rukia gave a small smile and nodded.

"Yeah I have no idea where I am. Could you help me please. My phone is dead and I just need some help."

The man's smile brightened, "Of course sweetie I am here to help follow me. I have a club I manage down the street. My name is Mizurio Kojima by the way."

Rukia smiled, "I'm Rukia."

A/N Alright I have decided to dedicate as much time to this story. I have also been working on another one but I won't post anything until I complete this story or parent life. I can't multitask like I used to so I'm going to dedicate time to this story as much as I can. Please comment and review it helps me a lot. I hope you are all enjoying this version more than the other since I have matured a bit in my writing at least I think I have. I'll see you through the screen since school is starting back up.
