After Natsu's "accidental fall" out of the bed that knocked him out, Erza stayed away for the remainder of the time. She felt so embarrassed about the whole ordeal. Her, the elegant maiden Erza Scarlet let her 'hopefully' soon to be lover fall out of his bed and lose consciousness on top of it all. Such a fool she was in this endeavor. Her eyes watched him like a hawk, her cheeks flushed as red as her hair.

Something, however, did trouble the young scarlet knight. When she had awoken from her nap, Natsu was covered in bruises. His arms were black and blue, like they were struck with an immensely blunt object. Even if it was all a blur to her now, she remembers him clearly not sporting any of these new injuries. She could perfectly understand if he had a bump on his head from the fall, but this? There was something more to it, something she couldn't put finger on.

Groaning on his cot, Natsu slowly opened his eyes once more. A growl escaped his lips as he covered his eyes with his hand. "Stupid fucking light..." he grumbled, eliciting a giggle from his companion. He turned his attention to Erza, ignoring the blue screen in front of him that was waiting for him to claim his "rewards" of what he didn't know.

"Hey..." he gave her a weak smile, which she returned in kind, scooching her chair as close as she could to his bedside.

"Hey..." she replied, interlocking her hand with his with a small blush on her cheeks. "How are you feeling?"

Feeling the same burning feeling in his cheeks, he chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his head. "Like total crap, like I just got stomped on by a dragon." 'I'm not entirely wrong...'

"I'm sure.. you've been through a lot In a matter of a night," Erza's grip tightened on his hand. She could feel the tears she tried so hard to conceal flowing freely from her cheeks. "I... I thought I lost you. Gray told me what you did..." she whispered, pain laced in every word she spoke that made Natsu frown.

A sigh escaped his lips with a sad smile making it's way across his features. "Yeah... I did. I don't regret pushing you away to take the hit. So... if you must hit me, scold me, tell me how much of an idiot I am for breaking our promise," Natu let go of her hand to lower his head to her with closed eyes. "Then do what you must."

Erza sat there with wide eyes, her tears overflowing like an endless waterfall. Even if she was angry, no, utterly pissed off at the dragon slayer for his reckless decision, she didn't have the heart to strike him. Looking at him now, she could practically feel the guilt leaking off of his body, but he shared no regret. Natsu was ready to throw his life away for her, someone he's grown up with for years, the battles they've shared together, their embarrassing baths together that most people would look at them like they were crazy. But not them. They were family, friends, but most importantly... lovers. They shared a bond deeper than anything Fairy Tail offered them.

She cherished every moment with him like it was her last day in Earthland. His goofy grin, his childish personality she found endearing. Erza didn't have a childhood growing up, but neither did Natu really in that regard. They were one in the same, both with a twisted past that melded them into the people they are now. But that monumental moment for both of them was the Tower Of Heaven. How could she scold him for this, when she tried throwing her life away for his, to save his life.

"You don't die for your friends, you live for them!"

Those words always echoed in the back of her mind. The first time she ever seen him shed any real tears in her whole life. At that moment, she knew their dynamic had changed completely. She could finally shed her armored wall, show him who Erza really was, the real her. Now... it's time she fulfilled that task.

"You idiot..."

Natsu awaited the strike that would soon come, but to his surprise he instead felt two gentle hands cup his cheeks. His head raised to meet her teary gaze with wide eyes. Even with the tears this beautiful woman shed, her smile never wavered. She practically glowed like an angel in the light above them. "Erza I..."

"You don't have to say anything Natsu," her voice was soft and gentle, something he never knew she even possessed for a vocal cord. He was seeing a whole new side to Erza, a side he welcomed with open arms. "Just... tell me... do you...?"

Some would call the dragon slayer dense, but even he knew what she was going to ask. With the biggest toothy grin he could possibly muster, he said. "I love you... Erza."

Those four words he spoke to her struck her heart with the warmest of flames. She never thought she would ever hear this confession from Natsu, but she did. And she intended to respond in kind. "I love you too, Natsu."

If Natsu could even begin to describe the feeling of his heart, it would be combusted into flames. Practically thumping at an inhuman pace that would kill a normal human being. But Natsu was far from normal, and Erza accepted that part, every part of him.

Without another moment's hesitation, they closed the gap between each other. Their lips pressed against one another, their bodies practically molding together in a perfect shape. Natsu's arms went around her waist, her arms went around his neck. Tears of happiness flowed down the knight's cheeks, feeling this dragon's warm lips against hers. This is all she ever wanted, ever craved from him. To sever the connection of being family, to becoming something more, something truly wonderful.

Tightening his grip around her waist, he instinctely pulled her onto his bed with a surprised gasp coming from his lover. Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment, but her body responded differently. Erza's breasts pressed against his chest as their sweet loving kiss became passionate, hungry. Their tongues intertwined with one another as his hands traveled to her backside, firmly grasping her skit, which only made her moan in content.

Natsu's hands on her body, his lips pressed against hers. It was euphoric to the scarlet knight. Something she only obtained from her smut novels; now she was the one living it. They fought for dominance, their tongues clashing together like swords, but sadly for Natsu she was a skilled swordswoman. Even if his instincts told him, no, demanded he regain control and take her. The need for air was too much to handle any longer.

They separated from each other, a long string of saliva between the two of them as their eyes never left the others. Both of their hearts drummed along in their chests, panting for the much needed lack of oxygen. "W-wow..." the knight responded with a breathless comment.

"If... if I knew kissing you would've felt that good... I would've done it years ago," Natsu panted, his hands still firmly wrapped around her.

Erza could only smirk, lowering her body down to his that made even Natsu blush. "What took you so long dragon boy?~"

The door to the infirmary clicked open. Mira walked in with a tray of food, a sweet smile plastered on her lips. "Erza, I know Natsu isn't awake yet but I figured you could use some strawberry cake," she placed the tray down on the table before turning towards Natsu's bed. "Make sure you let us know when Natsu wakes u-" all the breath the barmaid had was taken away in an instant. Her cheeks burned in crimson as she was given quite the sight.

Natsu and Erza, both red as tomatoes staring like deers caught in headlights. Her body straddled over his, his hands grasping her backside that slightly lifted her skirt to show her panties underneath.

"Oh dear! Sorry to interrupt!" She turned on her heel and bolted out of the room, shutting the door on her way out. "EVERYONE! THE INFIRMARY IS OFF LIMITS! MY SHIP HAS SAILED!" She squealed to the top of her lungs as the lovers could hear the guilds protests.

They turned back to each other, before any of them knew it they practically bursted into fits of laughter. Natsu laughing his butt off, while Erza was a giggling mess. Eventually they calmed down with smiled on their faces. "Guess our secret is out already," the young knight pouted. "And here I had so many ideas of how to give them hints."

"Was it really a secret though?" Natsu asked with a tiny smirk. "The way we look at each other most of the time, it was kinda a dead giveaway. Lucy and Gray knew about it, so it's not far to assume the whole guild knows. I bet gramps made bets on it."

"I suppose you're right," Erza laid her head against his chest, lazily circling her fingers on his arm. "But I've never been more happier to know we're together."

"Same here," he nodded his head with a smile. "I'm never letting go of you now."

Erza raised her head to meet his with a warm smile, cupping his cheek. "I'll hold you to that deal mister," her lips pressed against his as he welcomed them happily.

A day passed since the incident. As much as it was good to be free of that damn bed, I couldn't help but feel... unnerved by all of this. This thing that calls it's self the system, the messages it projects to me that nobody else can see. Was it evil? Did it have another motive for why it chose me to be it's player? I wasn't sure. But this had to be kept secret, for my guild, for... Erza's sake. As much as I hated to lie to her, especially after we finally confirmed our feelings for one another.

However, there were some things I learned in the time spent. One, the penalty zone is what I'm going to call it, only takes me there when I fail my strength quest. The rewards that were gifted to me were points towards these stats that I now possessed. Even if it confuses the everliving hell out of me. My stats were strength, agility, vitality, sensibility and intelligence.

What all of these stats did, I had no clue at the moment. So for obvious reasons I used two points into strength, and one into intelligence. I could definitely use to be smarter, especially another reason to one up Gray. (Oh Natsu you poor soul) I could feel the difference immediately in my muscles, and my container of magic. I was growing stronger somehow, something that excited me, yet terrified me all in the same way. This was a power that most would dream of obtaining, a never ending surge of power in their fingertips.

The last thing I noticed was my magic was much weaker. In the penalty zone, I barely could control my lightning flame dragon mode. My reserved were burning faster than they ever have in my whole life. On the stat screen I noticed my level, which was still at one currently. But what did it mean? More importantly...

How do I level up?

"91... 92.. 93..." Natsu panted out, raising his body up and down off the floor. Sweat running down his head as he did so. After failing his first strength quest, he made sure to complete the task once it popped up. Of course the only excuse he could give Erza, or the guild was training. It was only the believable thing they would listen to.

Erza always worried about his condition, knowing he had just got out of the infirmary. But Makarov had restricted from Team Natsu from taking missions for the time being. He wanted his children to relax after the whole ordeal they went through, especially Natsu's case.

"94.. 95, 96.. 97," his muscles ached beyond compare. All the strength he had was taken from him. In a way, becoming a player reset his body. This only meant he had to grow stronger, train harder. For Fairy Tail, for Erza. "98.. 99.. and 100!" Natsu's body plopped on the wooden floor of his and Happy's home with an exhausted grin. "Finally done..." he looked up to see his progress on his quest. "I'll admit.. this is one hell of a work out," he sat cross legged on the floor, taking a swig of water, wiping the sweat from his brow.

"Full recovery," he commanded as a yellow aura engulfed his body, completely erasing his fatigue, and the aching in his muscles. "I wonder if I can hold onto that skill if I complete another," Natsu put a finger to his chin in thought with a little grin. "One way to find out, but for now..."

Another screen appeared before him, displaying his level and stats. "Still level one?" He raised his brow curiously, stroking his chin. "I wonder how I gain levels. Let's see... one point in strength and two in agility," he stated, watching the numbers raise, before he furrowed his brows at his sensibility stat. "Why is that so high?"

Like it was listening, another screen appeared displaying a title that was permanent.

Title: Dragon Slayer

Gain the qualities of a dragon, including sens of smell, sight and hearing, including the use of fire and immunity to any flames, except divine fire. 10 Sensibility

"Idiotic question..." Natsu sweat dropped with a little chuckle. "Alright, let's see the loot box this time around. It better not be another bingo card..." he opened his palm as a small box appeared out of thin air. Slowly it unraveled with a bright light, hovering up into the air. In a flash, a key appeared. It's golden glow caught his eye as he outstretched his hand to catch it. "A key?" Just then a small screen appeared.

Instance Dungeon Key

Location: South Of Clovertown with a cave entrance

Too his surprise it had the exact coordinates of it's location. He stood up off the floor to grab a map from his kitchen table, before taking a pencil to mark it down with a grin. "Now we're getting somewhere."

A knock on the door was heard as Natsu quickly hid the key in his pocket, rolling up the map to stuff it in the closet of his room. Another knock, much harder than the last signaled him to answer.

"Natsu! It's Erza, can I come in?"

Natsu smiled softly, making his way across his home. He twisted the knob on his front door, pulling it open to be met with Erza Scarlet, his girlfriend. "Hey Erza! What's up?"

She didn't immediately respond, her eyes lowered down to his abs with a deep blush. 'That training is really paying off...'

"Erza?" Natsu called out to her, waving his hand in front of her face with a small chuckle. "You in there?"

Realizing she was staring, she shook her head with a sheepish smile. "S-sorry, am I interrupting your training session?" Erza asked, twiddling her thumbs with a small blush.

"No, I just finished. Come on in," he stepped to the side to let her in, which she happily obliged. "Can I get you anything?"

"Some tea would be lovely, thank you," she replied, taking a seat on his couch as her eyes scanned over the room. As much as it wasn't exactly clean, or neat she had to admit it had it's own charm... in a way.

Natsu returned from the kitchen with a cup of green tea with a pinch of honey. "Here you go," he offered the cup to her, which she took with a smile, taking a sip with a small hum.

"So what brings you here?" He asked, taking a seat next to her, stretching his limbs with a small pop.

Erza gave him a playful glare, raising her brow. "Is there a problem with your girlfriend visiting you?"

"N-no! I love that you're visiting! I um..." Natsu's cheeks grew pink in color as Erza giggled at his reaction. "Always gotta mess with me!" He crossed his arms over his chest with a small pout.

She leaned over to kiss his cheek, scooching next to him. He wrapped an arm around her as she closed her eyes in content, listening to his gentle breathing. "This feels like a dream..."

"Then you better not wake up anytime soon," Natsu smirked, kissing the top of her head. "But I get what you mean. It's all too surreal for me. Just a day ago I was on deaths door, now look at me. Alive, healthy and I have such a beautiful girlfriend."

Reaching over to grab his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. She smiled, giving him a small peck on the lips, before resting her head on his chest with her tea in hand. The warmth his body radiated practically made her melt. With a content sigh, her scarlet hair covering her right eye. "I love you, so much Natsu."

With a smile, he rested his chin on top of her head. His eyes closed as he bathed in the peaceful silence that surrounded them.

"I love you too, Erza... more than you'll ever know."

I spoiled all of you with some Natza goodness. But in turn, explained more of the system in slightly greater detail. I know this fic has been slow paced so far, but it makes a good story. Next time, Natsu enters his first instance dungeon! For now that's all I have for you today.

Side note: At the end of the chapter I will display Natsu's stats just for the gamers out there who are curious of his overall stats. Plus the dragon slayer title I thought was a cool touch.

One more thing, please do not be afraid to leave any sort of review. I would love to respond to you guys, listen to your thoughts and opinions on this fic. I take criticism with a grain of salt, but constructive I take to heart to improve my own writing. Please don't be afraid to voice your opinions

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. And I'll see you all in the next one, later. :)

One more ultra side note: If you've noticed already. I put this is in Natsu POV sometimes. That's to add flavor to it. But also it is future and present Natsu. I leave that up to you guys to figure out which one it is. I leave obvious hints.
