div dir="ltr" In orbit aboard The Spirit of Intent, Swordfish finalized the Good Morning protocols for the rest of his crew. Checking over the data from his Battle Net he made the decision to activate MTF Alpha-12, The Wayward Wanderers. A group picked up several universes ago with the express training of entering highly dangerous areas that affect the every day person. They were a rapid response force trained specifically to engage in large scale conflict with anomolous or non humanoid beings. Armed with the latest in scientific and magical weaponry, Alpha-12 was unceremoniously loaded into their drop pods with weapons jammed into their groggily open arms./div

div dir="ltr"After a ten second count down the indicator light on the inside of the ten pods flickered green before firing it's payload towards the Earth's surface. Alpha-12 held on for dear life as they rapidly descended towards the planet below and into the fray. Lieutenant Osvery Jones was first out of his pod and ready to take command of his forces. Linking up with the first wave of the Fire Brigade they fought heavily against the invading Chitauri fleets while evacuating as many civilians as they were able to. Once their immediate areas were secured they began setting up an FOB for the rest of their forces to land and have a decent foot hold with which to engage the enemy. The Admiral had been right about this battle at least. Though tough and coordinated the enemy was relatively stupid in terms of combat effectiveness./div
div dir="ltr" /div
div dir="ltr"Little more than automated slaves the chitauri fell easily to the enhanced MTF team and android back up they shared. Lt. Osvery contacted the admiral to relay their initial wave was successful with currently zero casualties. Once done he and his forces began setting up teleportation beacons for the second wave./div

div dir="ltr"Following the Iron Man was a simple task for Carson. With the fires of battle as his teacher he easily kept pace with the flying man of metal with a combination of his jump kit and armoured computer systems. Releasing his grappling hook he plummeted into formation alongside what appeared to be Stark's companions. A man in red white and blue, a woman wielding two glocks and wearing a black leather suit, a man holding a bow, a large being wielding a giant hammer and a massive green behemoth roaring in hateful defiance. Quickly reloading his weapon he set targeting parameters into his HUD to target the closest ground units nearest him./div

He called out loud while swapping to his enchanted Volt assault rifle. The upside to having friends in many places who made things more interesting and he was excited to try out the latest modifications. The man in in the patriotic suit smirked at his remark and tightened the strap on his shield. "Avengers, assemble." He called out, setting those around him in motion. Carson activated his on board stimulate and rushed forward at eighty kilometers an hour, striking the invading aliens near him at lethal speeds, tearing them asunder and ending their lives. The Hulk roared in rage as he leaped high towards one of the near by buildings to take care of those with the high ground./div

div dir="ltr"MTF Alpha-12 fought back to back with the Fire Brigade in a pitched battle against their newest foes. Hiding behind a burning vehicle Team Lead Esseh Heirish crouched over a wounded man. Her personal energy shield built into the left arm of her armour was up while her modified R-101 assault rifle returned fire on her enemies. Hot bolts of plasma sizzled through the air as the incoming invaders pushed towards the defensive lines the space born defenders had hastily erected. The robotic forces had drawn exploded car husks and debris together to act as makeshift barriers. The ones equipped had deployed their portable shield arrays to reinforce their defense but the chitauri's plasma weapons were making quick work of them./div
div dir="ltr" /div
div dir="ltr"Esseh ducked back down into hiding in time to avoid a plasma bolt taking her. Priming a grenade she hurled it into the street and dragged the man below her back into the inner perimeter. Two Spectres wielding energy shields and heavy repeaters closed in behind her to cover the retreat. Their weapons called out with heavy slugs heated to near melting point that shredded the lightly armoured Chitauri. Screams of pain and battle confusion filled the air in the unfortunate song of, a song that Alpha-12 was all too familiar with./div
div dir="ltr" /div
div dir="ltr" Reaching a safe position Esseh activated her radio. "Overlord Overlord, we got patients left right and center. Let the good doctor know it is time to open his practice!"/div
div dir="ltr" /div
div dir="ltr""Affirmative, dispatching "medical personnel" to your location now." Sword Fish replied in his ominous tone./div

div dir="ltr"Switching channels she called out to her team, "Doc is coming in, you know the drill"!/div
div dir="ltr" /div
div dir="ltr" Her team called back, reaching to their packs and pulling out a reinforced hose that was inserted into the Handel of their individual weapons. Once finished she pulled out a metallic cylinder while her second in command did the same and retreated into the highly contested FOB. The good thing about the stuff they picked up was that constructing battle ready structures took almost no time at all. Readying the beacons took a few seconds but once done the teleportation array sprung to life. The metal pads sparked to life with arcane runes and high levels of electricity, their guidance systems linking to the beacons and in turn the ship. Once they finished booting up they began to glow brightly; filling the air with an electric buzz and a loud snap they cycled down for the two occupants standing in the first pad./div
