The children find that their journey has taken them up to the mountains. Upon traveling up to the mountains, they were amazed to find a massive digimon named ElDradimon sitting at the top. There, they also met Gallantmon and found the stone crest of light. They also learn more about the legacy of the digidestined. However, one digimon named Splashmon doesn't believe they are worthy, so they must know. Also, Puppetmon and Luradamon are planning something to take the next stone.

Never Give Up

Everyone is hoping for the safe return of everyone else. Uria certainly wishes they all come back. While she is glad that her parents weren't the ones taken, she is greatly worried about everyone else.

"Uria?" She turned around and saw her father. "Are you okay?" Cody asked. "You've been staring out your window for a while. Are you worried about the others?"

"Yeah. I hope they all come back safe soon." Uria said.

"Have faith in them. I'm sure they all will be back." Cody said.

"How do you know? What if something happens to all of them?" Uria questioned.

"It's because they're digidestined, and if they really are anything like how we were, they'll never give up until evil is stopped." Cody claims. He does hope they all return soon himself, but he knows the kids are fighting the good fight.

...

The Digital World

The kids might have managed to find the stone crest of light, but they can't get it. Splashmon speaking against them is having Gallantmon being hesitant on giving them the stone. Splashmon just stood at the edge of ElDradimon's shell. He just stared out to the vast sky, but he saw Koji walking over to him.

"What do you want?" Splashmon asked.

"I was wondering... Why do you seem to not like me and my friends?" Koji asked.

"Are you talking about what I said earlier? I just said what I thought." Splashmon said. "We're suppose to entrust our world to mere children? Especially since humans and digimon are living together? Of humans and digimon together can make such great power, why is the Digital World always such a mess? Do us all a favor and just stay out of the way." He claimed and just walked off.

"Don't listen to him, Koji. He's clearly just a grouch, and maybe we should just leave him alone." Gatomon said. "We should think more about how we can prove we're worthy to get the stone crest."

"I know... I just think there's something bothering him." Koji said as he felt bad for Splashmon.

"I'm afraid Splashmon's resentment isn't towards you exactly." Koji was then met with Gallantmon. "He has his own personal problems with the digidestined."

"Like what? Maybe I can help." Koji said.

"Koji, focus more on the stone." Gatomon said.

"I know, but I can't help it." Koji said.

"We'll, you certainly possess a kind spirit." Gallantmon claimed. "Splashmon has been around for a very long time. The truth is that when the Dark Masters first took over the Digital World, he was a rather young digimon. When their base, which they called Spiral Mountain was formed, he lost many good friends."

"And those are the same creeps that we're fighting now." Gatomon claimed.

"The digidestined are meant to protect our world, but it was hard when chaos and darkness roamed our world and came to ruling it. However, there's a little more to it than just that. I believe Splashmon always wanted to be partnered with a human." Gallantmon claimed. "However, he never found his partner. As time came by, he grew into the digimon he is now. He got there on his own, and maybe now he thinks digimon don't need humans."

"So, his problem is that he lost a lot of friends and never got the wish he wanted." Gatomon said. "Now he thinks digidestine are useless." Koji felt so bad for Splashmon. "That is all rather sad, but proving ourselves to get the stone might help restore some faith in him. What do we have to do to prove ourselves?"

"I'm sure the answer will come in time. Until then, you are more than free to stay here." Gallantmon offered. That was a nice offer, but they soon got problems when they heard an explosion go off.

"That didn't sound good." Gatomon claimed. All of them hurried to where the explosion came from. When they got there, they saw it was Puppetmon smashing his hammer against everything. Laughing away like a child, he enjoyed the destruction he was causing. "It's Puppetmon!"

"One of the Dark Masters! They truly have returned!" Gallantmon claimed.

"You kids are here? Why do you always have to try and ruin our fun?" Puppetmon said. "Then again, you probably don't have the stone. That means it's mine for the taking."

"I think not!" Gallantmon said as he charged in to try and attack with his javelin, but Puppetmon jumped out of the way.

"I'm going to love playing with a knight." Puppetmon claimed as he had strings extend out of his fingers and tied them around him.

"What's going on? I'm having a hard time moving." Gallantmon said.

"Koji!" Koji and Gatomon were soon joined with the others.

"Puppetmon?! How did he get he?!" Benson said.

"I don't know, but I know how he's leaving." Musuko said.

"Don't think so. Get them!" Puppetmon said as he controlled Gallantmon.

"What sorcery is this?! I can't control my body!" Gallantmon claimed as he couldn't stop himself. Puppetmon moved his body for him and had him attack the kids. "Clear the way! I can't control my body!" All of them moved, but this wasn't good for them.

"What's wrong with Gallantmon?" Mason questioned.

"It's Puppetmon! He's playing him like an actual puppet!" Palmon claimed.

"Can we help him without hurting him?" Koji said.

"That won't be easy, but it looks like we got another problem." Gatomon said as she looked up and spotted something else. She and Koji spotted Luradamon flying overhead, but she isn't joining the fight.

"Luradamon?" Koji questioned.

"She's going for the stone! We have to try and stop her!" Gatomon said as she hurried off with Koji following her.

"Running away?" Koji looked to the side and saw that Splashmon was there. "I knew you couldn't fight."

"It's not that. Someone is going after the stone." Koji said and hurried off. When Splashmon heard that, he got concerned himself.

...

The Stone

While the others were busy dealing with Puppetmon, Luradamon was able to make her way to the same chamber as the stone. Once there, the stone was all hers for the taking.

"Excellent. My plan is working perfectly." Luradamon said. "With Puppetmon keeping them busy, the stone is mine." She was all set to take it, but an arrow of light shot between the two.

"That's close enough." Luradamon looked to the side and saw Koji and Angewomon opposing her.

"How adorable. Am I suppose to be scared of a toddler and his mommy? Oops, I forgot. We captured your real mommy." Luradamon mocked.

"You're not taking that stone." Koji said.

"How did you even get all the way up here without anyone seeing anything?" Angewomon questioned.

"That would spoil the surprise I have." Luradamon claimed, but they both knew a surprise from her wasn't anything good.

...

The Fight

Dealing with Puppetmon could be trouble enough, but now he's manipulating Gallantmon's body. That's why they had their digimon digivolve to their strongest forms.

"Careful. You don't want to hurt your friend, do you?" Puppetmon questioned.

"Do not worry about I. Do what you must to defeat this evil." Gallantmon asked.

"That's not as fun. I prefer having them helpless, and you're going to help." Puppetmon said as he made Gallantmon attack again. He charged his Lance straight at Phoenixmon, but Gardeniamon used her whip and grabbed Gallantmon. "Hey! That's my toy!"

"UlforceVeedramon, cut the strings!" Gardeniamon called. UlforceVeedramon did just that as he dived down and was able to cut the strings and freed Gallantmon.

"Hey! Give me back my toy!" Puppetmon called. Then, Seraphimon flew right at him and smashed his fist against Puppetmon and knocked him down.

"That's for acting like we're you're okay things." Seraphimon claimed. Phoenixmon took her turn as she flew down at Puppetmon and crush him with her talon. Puppetmon rolled out of the way just in time.

"Are you okay, Gallantmon?" Musuko asked.

"I am, but Puppetmon won't be." Gallantmon said as he now stood facing five mega-level digimon. "Gallantmon, you are outmatched. It's five against one. Your best option is to stand down and surrender."

"No way. The fun is only starting." Puppetmon claimed as he smirked.

"I don't get it." Benson said. "We have him outmatched and could finish him if we wanted, so why does he seem so confident?"

"I think he's faking it." Mason said. Puppetmon might be a lot of things, but he doesn't take confidence. What are they planning?

...

Luradamon

Splashmon followed after Koji once he heard the sacred stone was in danger. He neared the top of the stairs until he heard voices up there.

"You are not leaving with that stone." Angewomon claimed.

"it doesn't belong to you. You can't just take it." Koji said.

"As of you have the power to stop me." Luradamon claimed. "Besides, you have other matters to worry about."

"What do you mean?" Angewomon question as she knew it can't be good for them. They're about to find out. Outside, the ground ElDradimon stood on suddenly gave out with one of his feet sinking into the ground it was impossible for anyone not to notice that.

"What was that?" Koji said.

"You asked how we got up here? We dig out way through the mountain." Luradamon claimed. "Puppetmon and I had a some Drimogemon dig a way up for us, and those moles are still digging."

"You mean there are Drimogemon digging through the mountain?!" Angewomon said as that didn't sound good for them.

"That's right, and all that digging isn't good. It's weakening the mountain, and it's already begun." Luradamon claimed. "The mountain is starting to crumble under the weight of ElDradimon's massive body. ElDradimon is going to come crashing down, and it could crash down on the small village near the bottom of the mountain."

"No! ElDradimon could get hurt, as well as all the digimon!" Koji said.

"Yes, and it could happen at any moment." Luradamon said. "So, what will you do? Will you stop me or will you try to save ElDradimon?" She's giving him a difficult choice. He either has to stop Luradamon and get the stone or save ElDradimon before it's too late. Being the kindhearted person he is, Koji made his choice.

"Come on, Angewomon. We've got to help, ElDradimon!" Koji called. Angewomon followed after and ran past Splashmon.

"Wait!" Splashmon called and chased after him.

"That's what I thought." Luradamon said as she took the stone. "Of course, it doesn't matter. There's no way they can save ElDradimon."

...

Outside

"What's going on? What's happening to ElDradimon?" Natalie questioned.

"Haha. It looks like Luradamon's plan worked." Puppetmon said.

"Puppetmon!" Luradamon called as she flew down with the stone in her hand. " I got the stone! Time to go!"

"Bye!" Puppetmon claimed with his blowing his tongue at them. After that, they both vanished.

"No! They have the stone!" Benson called.

"What about Koji?!" Musuko said. Worried about his brother, Musuko and the others hurried to where Koji might be. Koji and Angewomon hurried out to try and help ElDradimon, but what can they do? It grew worse as ElDradimon just then sunk down deeper and doesn't have much room to move.

"Angewomon, help ElDradimon!" Koji called.

"How?" Angewomon questioned.

"Try to lift him back up! Push him back up or something!" Koji said.

"Koji, that's impossible." Angewomon said.

"Just do it!" Koji pleaded. There wasn't much time to argue about it. Angewomon flew down and pushed on the side of ElDradimon to keep him from falling, but that was like trying to move a massive boulder.

"Are you nuts? That won't work!" Splashmon argued. "What we have to do is evacuate before it's too late!"

"What about ElDradimon?! We can't leave him!" Koji said. "If we don't stop ElDradimon from falling off the mountain, he could get hurt. The village down below could be crushed. We can't let that happen. Angewomon, keep pushing!"

"I'm trying!" Angewomon called as she pushed as hard as she could. It just wasn't enough. The mountain was giving out under ElDradimon's weight and couldn't hold him up anymore. He began to slide down the mountain and there was no way ElDradimon could stop. Everyone was holding on for dear life, but Angewomon kept trying.

"Don't give up, Angewomon! We have to stop ElDradimon before he hits the village!" Koji called.

"This won't work! We need to get out of here before it's too late!" Splashmon called.

"No! I'm not giving up!" Koji said as he refused to leave ElDradimon like this. Angewomon kept trying, but one digimon wasn't enough to stop this. That's why there's more. UlforceVeedramon came in and pressed against ElDradimon.

"UlforceVeedramon!" Angewomon called.

"We've got your back!" UlforceVeedramon said. She looked around and saw the others were helping out as they tried pressing against ElDradimon to stop him.

"Koji!" Musuko called as they all regrouped.

"This is crazy. You can't expect to stop ElDradimon like this!" Gallantmon said.

"We can't give up! We have to try!" Koji said, but even all five of them together couldn't stop ElDradimon they were getting closer and closer to the bottom, and will soon hit the village. All of them kept trying, but five wasn't enough. So, a sixth joined in. CannonBeemon actually tried to help as it flew down there and tried pushing as well.

"CannonBeemon is even trying to help!" Natalie said.

"Astounding!" Gallantmon claimed. "In that case..." Gallantmon joined in as he made his way down and started to push against ElDradimon as well to stop him as well.

"Gallantmon! Even you said this was pointless!" Splashmon called.

"But something must be done, and these children have the right spirit!" Gallantmon said. "We must try to save ElDradimon!" Gallantmon and all the other digimon kept trying to save ElDradimon. What they're doing might be crazy, but it will be worth it if they can save ElDradimon. In fact, their commitment seems to be inspiring the other digimon. Others joined in as they all gathered and pushed against ElDradimon to try and stop him. Splashmon couldn't believe his eyes. These children somehow inspired all these digimon to try and do the impossible. The most amazing part is that it seems to be working.

"ElDradimon is slowing down... This can't be... One couldn't do it, but that one is joining others together to prevent a catastrophe." Splashmon said as this was astounding to him. Looking down at Koji, he feels like he's looking at some sort of guiding light. If that's the case...

"Splashmon?" Koji said as he noticed something off. Then, Splashmon unexpectedly jumped far ahead and tried to get ahead.

"We're not giving up!" Splashmon shouted he unleashed torrents of water from his hand and blasted ElDradimon too add some power of his own. Everyone was putting all their effort with the village right in front of them. It was a close call, but everyone working together was able to stop ElDradimon before he hit the village. ElDradimon slowed to a stop and they were able to prevent a castrophe from taking place. It was amazing, and it was thanks to Koji for starting it.

...

Later

With help from the locals, everyone made sure that ElDradimon and the others weren't hurt. Everyone made it through this one, but Koji was still upset.

"What's wrong, Koji? Everyone is safe, and it's thanks to you." Natalie said.

"But Luradamon took the stone. It was right in front of me, and I let her take it." Koji said.

"You made the right choice, Koji." Gatomon assured. "You were the one that inspired the others to do what should have been impossible. ElDradimon and others would have been in real trouble if it weren't for you." That is true. Koji made the right decision there.

"The stone crest of courage is the only one left now." Musuko said as the stakes are high. "We all could be in trouble if we don't get it."

"You will. You will win in the end." All of them saw that it was Splashmon that said that. "You're digidestined, and your meant to save the world." It sounds like he's found renewed hope, and the kids did prove they are worthy. Now, only one stone remains.

...

In the next adventure, it's a race for the last stone up a volcano. Who will be the one to claim the last stone, and how will they get the other stones?
