Chapter 9

When the morning sun appeared in the sky, its light woke up the sleeping Louise in her room, who opened her eyes and smiled at seeing Saito still sleeping while she hugged him. The previous night, the two of them did some pretty ecchi things in the bathroom, confessing each other their feelings for one another too.

They didn't do something more because they just kept clinging on each other and cuddled to sleep, with him wearing just some pants and a t-shirt while she wore her night gown. "Saito, it's morning.", she told him, poking his face.

Opening his eyes, the swordsman saw her smiling face as first thing, which made him blush and smile too. "Good morning, beautiful."

"B-Beau-Hehe, you're so sweet.", she said, giggling and snuggling her face on his chest.

"Well, we confessed to each other yesterday and we did hot things too.", he said, scratching his red face.

"In fact, I'm really happy. Everyone seees us a couple, so I'm overjoyed that we're now one. Right?"

Her worried expression made him smile and hug her close, caressing her head. "Of course we are. I love you, Louise."

The students that saw them walk made those comments while noticing how the pinkette and her familiar seemed much more affectionate between them, imagining to see several hearts that surrounded them. Louise was of course happy that they could notice that difference, tightening her hold on his arm and smiling.

'Gosh, she's really too cute. I even did those things to her.', he thought, blushing embarassed. It was incredible that he kissed her lips and then proceeded to fondle her chest and finger her pussy while bathing with her, guessing that that going beyond that with her was something that would happen quite soon.

While they walked, Sylphid appeared quickly and licked his face to greet him, getting patted on the head. "Haha, I'm happy to see you too!", he told her, making the dragon purr happily.

So the 3 of them greeted Sylphid that licked Saito's face again and reached the canteen, with Louise sitting next to her familiar while the bluenette sat in front of them. "Good morning, everyone!", said Montmorency, appearing together with Guiche.

"Hello, Montmorency-san. It's nice to see you're fine today."

Saito's words made her blush and look away embarrassed, but she smiled too. "Thank you. W-we can say that it's less hot today."

"My angel is so delicate on top of being adorable.", said Guiche, smiling and with his eyes closed.

"That's why you must take care of her like Saito does with me.", said Louise, kissing her familiar's face and making him blush.

That kiss made various students stunned, with the water magician pouting jealously. "Is it me or are you two way closer than before?", asked them Guiche.

"Well, let's say that we confessed to each other.", was Saito's reply, causing Montmorency almost to gasp.

'What?! They confessed to each other?', she thought, feeling suddenly sad. Also the maids that served the tables heard those words, remaining shocked or jealous of Louise because they liked the foreign boy as well.

"Heh, I knew you two were more like a couple instead of just a magician and her familiar.", told them the earth wizard, giving them a thumbs up.

"Yeah, Saito gave me lots of love yesterday night.", said the pinkette, smiling and hugging her boyfriend's arm.

The swordsman blushed because the other students began to make rumors about them, believing that they imagined that he took Louise's innocence. In Montmorency's case instead, she felt more jealous of the pinkette, as she had recognized her feelings towards Saito when he spent time with her in the nursery.

It was true that she was Guiche's girlfriend, but after he cheated on her and she got more affectionate to Saito, she didn't like him like before anymore. Though, even if he was Louise's boyfriend, that didn't mean that she would discard her feelings for him.

Anyways, the group continued to have breakfast together, with the black haired boy savoring all the food with a big smile and thanking the maids for everything. Of course, they blushed and giggled happily, causing Louise to pout and cling on his arm before giggling too when he caressed her head.

Now that she and her beloved Saito were a real couple, she was more careful around the girls that liked him too, also due to Jessica making moves on him while they stayed at her father's inn. Moreover, she couldn't help but remember the things they did in the bathroom, especially when he played with her pussy and she sucked his penis.

"That's the spirit, partner! Let's smash some targets!", shouted the sword, getting a nod and a grin from the boy. Taking Derf out of the scabbard with his left hand, Saito began to destroy some wooden targets as usual, focusing on increase the speed of his attacks.

The move he used for the Familiar Exhibition, Chaos Blade, relied mainly on the speed of it, so increasing it would allow him to make it more dangerous for his future opponents. Though, he was curious about something, so he took Derf with his right hand while his left one took a piece of wood of a destroyed target.

"It seems sticks of wood are not real weapons. My runes aren't activating.", he said, checking said runes.

"What do you have in mind?"

"My powers grant me strengh, speed ans perfect control when I wield you or another weapon, but it's better I train by using a piece of wood. At least I can fight well in the case I can't use my powers.", said the young man, grinning.

"Oho, that's a great idea.", praised him his sword, making him chuckle. So Saito began to swing the stick of wood against the targets, not destroying them easily like he did with Derflinger. Still, that didn't let him give up, as he grinned and attacked them with more force. Giving up wasn't in his personality; if he had a goal, he wanted to achieve it no matter what.

Some maids and other people of the staff observed how he trained differently, wondering why he used a stick instead of his sword. Nonetheless, the fierce way with which he hit the targets made him look hot to the maids' eyes, who were giggling and blushing. Siesta was present between them, unable to take her eyes off him.

Unfortunately, she heard the news about him and Louise being a real couple now, but that didn't mean that she wanted to give up on her feelings; she liked the bold swordsman very much, so she wanted to keep liking him anyways.

'I don't want to steal him from Miss Vallière of course; I just want to keep loving him.', she thought, blushing more when he managed to reduce two targets in piece and grinned. He noticed her and her colleagues, so he waved his hand while they did the same, adoring his smile and cheering for him before returning to their duties.

Another person was observing him too, and it was Miss Longuevuille that was looked ag him through the window of Osman's office with a serious face. "He's incredible, isn't he? Louise's familiar is truly magnificent for how much he trains haha", told her the principal, chuckling.

"But now he's using a wooden stick instead of his sword.", she said, looking at the old man.

"I bet that he's polishing some other combat skills. If he continues like that, he will be much stronger than any soldier of the royal army."

Osman's words caused the green haired woman to gasp, not imagining that he valued Saito's abilities so much. Hearing them made her also frown, gazing towards the boy in annoyance somehow.

Inside a classroom on the other hand, Louise and the other students were following a lesson about making magic potions, with her taking notes diligently as usual. She even got surprised when the teacher explained that love potions were prohibited, because the law didn't tolerate using a potion to make someone fall in love.

She agreed with what the law said because she thought that people had to fall in love normally, like it happened to her with Saito. She found him gorgeous when she summoned him and liked him more and more each time they spent time together, so she was overjoyed when he told her that he loved her in the same way.

Kirche and Tabitha were listening to the lesson with attention too, but Montmorency seemed to have frown somehow when she heard about the love potion. Though, when she looked outside of the window, she blushed when she saw the swordsman training, smiling a little.

'Even if you're Louise's boyfriend, I can't stop liking you.', she thought, still flushed. Her expression morphed into a glare when she saw that Guiche was gazing at other girls with a smile, scolding him silently to pay attention to the lesson. That only made her love him even less, thinking that Saito was better than him because he cared a lot for her. The fact that he brought her food after she fainted because she saw him shirtless was a proof of that.

Some hours passed and lunch time arrived, so Louise went outside to go to her boyfriend, smiling when she saw him still training. "Saito, let's go to eat. You must be very hungry.", she told him, hugging his left arm.

"Oh, sure. I can't wait to eat another steak.", he told her, caressing her head. He even kissed her on the cheek, making her blush while he scratched his face.

"That was to reciprocate the one you gave me earlier."

"You're so gentle!", she happily exclaimed, hugging him tighter while they walked towards the canteen, with Derflinger finding them cute. His wielder really knew how to make Louise's feelings stronger.

So the couple walked towards the canteen, but once there, instead of sitting next to him, the girl sat down on his lap and made Montmorency pout jealously again. "Hehe, sitting on your lap is the best!", said Louise happily, snuggling her face on his chest.

Kirche watched their interaction and frowned, wishing to be in her place. She stopped trying to flirt with him because she understood that he disliked her personality, but she was envious of the pinkette anyways.

Siesta watched the scene too and pouted, wanting to sit on his lap to feed him sweetly like Louise was doing. He was her savior like a hero from the books she adored reading, so she liked him very much. She didn't know that her cousin liked him too, but if she found out, she would compete with her for his affections.

But while the students were having lunch, Longuevuille was walking through the corridors of the school as if she searched for something, keeping a hood on her head. 'The room must be in this corridor. I just need to find the right door-Found it!', she thought, smiling darkly when she saw a green door protected by some locks.

She tried to break them with a spell, but it didn't work because they seemed immune to it. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?", asked a teacher that saw her and glared at her.

"Nothing. I'm just getting something that interests me.", she replied, using her wand that shined with an brown light.

The eyes of the teacher widened and was shocked when her spell created something like an earth golem, whose size was increasing so much that it destroyed the cellar and part of the building. That loud sound alarmed all the students and the people of the academy, especially Osman.

"N-no way…You're Fouquet!", exclaimed the teacher in astonishment.

"Yes, and I'm here for this school's treasure. Destroy the door, my giant!"

Under her order, the creature launched a fist on the locked door, reducing it the pieces along the locks that she tried to deactivate earlier. At that move, the teacher was about to attack her, but the giant quickly hit him and sent him away, making him land in pain on the grass outside.

Now the door was opened, Fouquet entered in the room and smiled at seeing the Staff of Destruction on an altar, sealed inside a cylindrical box. "So this is the famous Staff of Destruction.", she said, taking the object and getting surprised by how heavy it was.

Meanwhile, Saito was running with Louise and their friends towards the point where they heard a loud sound, gasping when they saw a destroyed building and a giant of rock. "T-that's…It can't be!", said the scared pinkette.

"Huh? You studens shouldn't have come here.", said Fouquet, appearing before them with the school's treasure in her hands.

"That's the Staff of Destruction? How dare you steal it!", shouted Montmorency, glaring at her and getting behind Guiche in fear.

At the same moment, it was Colbert's turn to arrive too, widening his eyes at seeing the infamous thief. "What do you think you're doing, Fouquet?", he asked her with a glare.

"I'm just getting the treasure for-"

She didn't end her sentence because her giant protected her from a sudden attack from Saito, whose sword clashed against its hand before jumping backwards while Louise and the others were shocked. "You tried to sneak attack me?", said the hooded woman, sounding angry.

"You're a criminal that dares to attack the academy, so it's better to defeat you rapidly.", he replied, keeping a fighting position and looking menacing.

Needless to say that the girls blushed before his courage, but fearing that he could get hurt, Louise and Montmorency took their wands to help him. Guiche summoned his brass golems instead while Kirche and Tabitha were ready to fight too.

"Tch, you're all getting in my way. Attack them!", ordered the criminal to her giant, which threw another punch. Acting quickly, Saito ran towards his girlfriend and caught her in his arms before jumping like the others did, shocked by how the ground got heavily damaged by the creature's fist.

"Are you ok, Louise?", he asked her in worry.

"Yes, thank you.", she replied, blushing because she was carrying her in princess style. Their attention got caught by Kirche's fireball attacking the giant, but the fire didn't do much damage to it.

"It's pointless. All your attacks can't do anything to it!", exclaimed Fouquet, grinning while the redhead glared at her. Guiche was stunned instead when one of his golems got easily dispatched.

Though, Fouquet's grin turned into an annoyed expression when she got hit by a pebble on the shoulder, thrown at her by Saito that put Louise down. "Hitting you while you're distracted seems to work.", he said mockingly.

"How dare you! Crash him!"

This time the giant tried to step on him and Louise, but they quickly got out of the way while Montmorency launched a water ball spell against Fouquet, who performed a barrier spell to protect herself. The fight was watched by other students and the school's staff, with Siesta, the other maids and Marteau hoping that Saito and his friends could win. Colbert didn't try to attack because he couldn't because of a particular reason, so he could help his students just by creating barrier spells.

Meanwhile, Tabitha used a wind spell to attack Fouquet , who dodged it but the wind made her hood fall, revealing the face of Matilda de Longuevuille. "W-what?!", was Kirche's reaction.

"Miss Longueville is Fouquet?", said Guiche instead.

"You guys saw my real identity. Longuevuille is just a name I used inside this school; my real name is Matilda de Saxe-Gotha, whose family lost their rank in the past. I will get back all the richness and the respect that I once had!", she exclaimed, ordering her giant to attack Tabitha.

"Pathetic."

That sudden word caused her eyes widen and her giant to stop the attack, so she looked at who said that word. "What did you say?", she asked Saito, glaring back at him.

"I said that you're pathetic. You became a thief after your family lost her rank and you want to regain the richness you once had? You're just a stupid and pathetic person in the end.", he replied defiantly, making Louise and the others shock for how he insulted her.

Those insults made Matilda grit her teeth in anger, clenching her fist too. "Kill him!", she exclaimed enraged to the giant, whose punch was about to strike the boy that didn't move.

"Nooo! Dodge it, Saito!", exclaimed an horrified Louise, crying.

"Saito-kun!", exclaimed Montmorency instead, getting stopped by Guiche from running towards him.

The giant's punch hit and caused a big amount of dust to fly in the air, with Louise, Siesta and everyone else horrified at what they just saw. "Hahahaha! That's what you get for-What?!"

Once the dust disappeared, everyone's eyes widened at seeing just Saito's sweatshirt under the giant's punch, with no sign of his presumed dead body. The criminal got suddenly hit by a punch in the face, which made her fall on the ground and she gasped to see that it was the swordsman that hit her.

"Saito, you're alive!", exclaimed the pinkette, crying in joy.

"Sorry if I made you worry again."

"How did my giant miss you?!", asked him an angrier Matilda.

"I moved right before its punch could hit me, taking off my sweater to make you think the opposite.", he told her, pointing Derflinger towards her throat and scaring her.

"Give us back the Staff of Destruction.", he ordered her, glaring menacingly at her.

"You can forget it! Die!"

Her giant was about to attack him again, but Saito hit her head with the back of his sword and caught the Staff of Destruction. Having had enough of the giant, he opened the cylindrical box, widening his eyes at the true appearance of the treasure.

"Disappear!", he exclaimed, wielding the rocket launcher and shooting against the giant thanks to his powers. Everyone was astonished at seeing what they believed to be a strange fire attack destroying the head of the giant, causing an explosion.

"Saito!/Saito-kun!", exclaimed Louise and Montmorency in unison after the smoke disappeared. Their eyes, along those of the other people, widened at seeing the now headless giant crumbling into dust, with the young man stopping to point the weapon against it.

'This rocket launcher had still a shot to fire thankfully.', he thought, sighing in relief. He then watched how everyone was looking at him, totally astonished by what he just did.

"Saito!", exclaimed his girlfriend, running towards him to hug him tightly.

"I'm so glad you're ok! I-I thought that I lost you.", she told him, sniffling and staining his t-shirt with her tears.

"I'm really sorry that I made you worry again. There's no way you will lose me.", he told her, blushing and hugging her back. The huge care that she had for him only made him love her more before, with Siesta, the maids and Montmorency crying in joy that he was alive.

"Saito-kun, you could use the Staff of Destruction?", asked him Colbert, amazed and glad that he wasn't hurt.

"That weapon came from the country I was born in. Now it can't shoot anymore because it's a single shot weapon.", he explained, shocking the teacher.

His eyes switched towards Matilda, glaring at her. He was really disgusted when he heard the reason why she became a thief, especially because she worked behind the headmaster's back by using a fake name.

"Well, you're truly a hero, Saito! You managed to save our treasure and even defeated Fouquet, so I'm deeply thankful to you.", suddenly said Osman, appearing next to them and patting his back.

"I agree, you were amazing, Saito.", said Guiche, giving him a thumbs up.

"I'm so relieved that you're ok.", told him instead Montmorency, still crying but smiling.

Also Marteau, Siesta, Derf and everyone else praised him and applauded for him, causing him to blush and scratch his head. Said blush got brighter when his master kissed him on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck too.

The other girls interested in him and even Sylphid frowned in jealousy at that scene, but they could admit that they were truly adorable. Even if he was surprised, he reciprocated Louise's kiss lovingly, hugging her waist too.

"This was for saving me.", she told him happily after the kiss.

"I'm your familiar and your boyfriend. My duty is to protect you no matter what.", he said, locking his eyes with her while Osman and everyone else chuckled.

"Since Fouquet got defeated, I will call the authorities to bring her in jail and ask some earth magicians to help to repair that destroyed building. You and your girlfriend can rest, Saito!", said the headmaster, grinning.

So once they thanked him, the old man got helped by Colbert to take the unconscious woman and tie her hands to bring her in a secure area of the school. On the other hand, the swordsman got asked by his master and his friends about the Staff of Destruction because they were curious about how he knew how to use it.

Chuckling, he proceeded to tell them about its real name and other characteristics, trying to explain them in an easy way because he knew that the concept of science was unknown in their world. Though, he wondered how a rocket launcher became the treasure of the magic academy, understanding that he wasn't really the only human from his world to arrive in the one he was in now.

'Only a soldier could have a weapon like that…Maybe he got summoned as a familiar too? Could he arrived in this world in another way?', were the questions in his mind at the moment. It seemed that the new world he lived in now had various mysteries and things to find out, but he was ready to search an answer to his questions.

Besides, he was glad that Louise and no one got hurt during the fight, because he wouldn't forgive himself if he let something happen to them. Perhaps it wasn't even a month that he became Louise's familiar, but he got affectionate to a lot of people at the academy and also to Jessica and the people from Charming Fairies.

That was why he cared deeply for all of them, especially for the sweet pinkette that was clinging onto him again with a lovely aura around her. Montmorency, Siesta and Sylphid were jealous of course, as they wanted to sit next to him too, especially the maid and the water mage that liked him even more now.

And chapter 9 is here! Well, it looks like Saito dropped a bomb when he said that he and Louise are now a couple, as Montmorency and even Siesta got pretty jealous of the pinkette. Though, that doesn't mean they will stop liking him, as they still want to be together with him, especially the blondie that doesn't love Guiche anymore at this point.

I made Saito fight Fouquet together everyone else to show how each one of his friends doesn't want to let him fight alone, with him managing to make the thief her cool to defeat her asap. Since he got disgusted with Chalenne's actions, it was expected that he felt the same by looking at Matilda, especially because she tried to hurt Louise and his friends too.

I don't remember any correlation between Fouquet's actions and Tiffania, as I read just the manga and watched the anime, but not the LN. This story focuses on the events happened in the anime in fact but with various changes.

Though, discovering that the Staff of Destruction is a rocket launcher made him wonder who could it be the person that arrived in the new wold before him. Will he manage to find out who it was? Will the other girls that like him do some moves to get closer to him? Stay tuned to find out.
