Inside Osman's office, following the capture of Matilda that got brought away by Tristania's authorities, Saito was currently sitting on a couch in front of the headmaster, with Colbert being present in the room too.

"Is that true, Osman-san?", asked the boy with widen eyes.

"Yes. When I was pretty young, I found myself in danger and got saved by a strange man that killed the creature that attacked me with what you call rocket launcher. He seemed to come from a different country by judging his clothes and I was deeply thankful to him, so I kept his weapon as a treasure to always remember him.", explained him the old magician, smoking a pipe.

Both the swordsman and Colbert were astonished by what they listened to and Saito had the confirmation that he wasn't the first human to end up in another world. His eyes even gazed towards the rocket launcher that laid on the table between him and Osman, wondering how that soldier stepped inside Tristain.

"Another thing I remember about that man was that his hair and his eyes were similar to yours.", said the headmaster, shocking him more.

"Really? Then he must come from Japan like me."

"Japan? So that's the name of your country? I've never heard it before."

"Me neither.", said Colbert instead.

"Let's say that it's not very famous perhaps around Tristain haha.", said the boy, chuckling and sweatdropping. He guessed that he wouldn't believe him if he told him that Japan was in another world, so he chose to not do it.

"I see. I want to thank you again for managing to defeat Fouquet, but you said that you managed to use this weapon thanks to your powers?"

"Ever since I began to train, I understood that my runes grant me more strength, speed and perfect control on any weapon I use. Though, they don't work with things that are not real weapons like ornamental swords or wooden sticks.", he explained, surprising him and the teacher.

"Very interesting. Well, since that building needs to be repaired, there won't be any lesson for today. So I suggest you to spend some time with your girlfriend haha.", said Osman, making him blush while Colbert chuckled.

So the boy put Derflinger behind his back and greeted the two men before taking his leave, directing himself towards his and Louise's room. He told her to wait for him there because both him and Osman wanted some information from one another, and it seemed that he got more info than he expected.

"Do you think that owner of that powerful weapon came here like you did, partner?", asked him his sword.

"No, my opinion is that he arrived in another way, since Osman-san didn't say anything about his savior having runes too. So he wasn't a familiar like me.", replied the boy, descending some stairs and going outside to reach the tower where he lived with Louise.

"Heh, this mystery looks pretty interesting. Maybe we will get more clues in the future."

"I think that it's plausible haha.", chuckled his owner, arriving to the tower and entering inside of it. He climbed the stairs to reach the right floor, opening the door of his room once he was in front of it.

"I'm back.", he said, getting surprised when he saw Louise still sleeping on the bed. Such sight made him smile and walked towards her, blushing because she looked beautiful and peaceful in her sleep.

'I can't help but find her always cute.', he thought, sitting next to her. In the same moment he did that, she began to open her eyes, seeing so his face.

"Good morning, Louise.", he told her, smiling at her.

"Hello, Saito. Waking up like this is fantastic.", she happily told him, cupping his face to kiss him. That move made him blush like her, but he reciprocated it lovingly while Derflinger found them truly adorable.

"How did the talk with the headmaster go?", she asked him after reluctantly stopping to kiss him.

"He told me that the Staff of Destruction belonged to a man that saved him when he was young and whose facial features were similar to mine."

"Really? Then he was from your world surely."

"Yes, but Osman-san didn't say anything about his savior having some runes on his body, so I think that he didn't get summoned as a familiar like me.", he told her, tweaking his chin.

"I'm curious too honestly. Anyways, you're not hurt because of the fight, right?"

"Rest assured that I didn't get any scratch. I'm happier that you didn't get hurt instead.", he said, grinning and caressing her head. Blushing and giggling, she enjoyed the gesture and enveloped him in a hug, adoring how comforting his warmth was.

Of course, he reciprocated the hug while Derf chuckled silently because there wasn't any day where his wielder would not be affectionate with the pinkette. Still, since he wanted to train, the swordsman stopped hugging his girlfriend and suggested her to relax for the day, grinning at her before he left while she waved to him.

Back to outside, the foreign boy went to grab some new targets to use, as he destroyed lots of them in the previous days. The female dragon purred and nodded her head, looking at him with puppy eyes. "Hmm? What's up?"

"I don't have eyes, but I believe she wants that you spend time with her.", said Derflinger, with Sylphid nodding affirmatively.

"Is that so? I guess training can wait then. Let's play tag!", he said, starting to run and chuckling. Giggling, the dragon began to chase him by running too, not wanting to cheat by flying.

Since she liked him, she wanted to play more often with him, pouting whenever she saw other girls clinging onto him or keeping his attention. Despite she was Tabitha's familiar, she was very affectionate to him too, with her master being happy that she found such a kind friend.

Like a happy puppy, she jumped and got on top of him while running, licking his face and making him chuckle. Some maids and other people that took care of the laundries smiled before such scene, finding the bond between him and Sylphid really adorable.

"G-good morning, Saito-san.", suddenly said a new voice, making him look behind him to see Siesta.

"Good morning, Siesta. Do you want me to help you with those laundries?", he asked her, caressing the happy dragon's face.

"T-there's no need. I just wanted to give you these cookies I baked earlier. I made them with mint and chocolate.", she replied, giving a little bag of biscuits and blushing.

"Oh, thank you! They taste great!", he said, munching on one immediately and giving one to Sylphid that liked them too. Such praise combined with his happy expression made her heart beat faster, so she smiled and touched her red face.

"I made them also to thank you for saving us from that criminal. You were heroic like the time you saved me."

"Just like I protect Louise, I want to do the same for you and those are dear to me.", he told her, smiling because Sylphid licked his face happily.

Hearing those kind words made Siesta redder, so she gave him a kiss on the cheek that made him blush too, thanking him again before returning to their duties. Obviously, the blue dragon pouted jealously while Derflinger chuckled amused, saying that his owner was totally a ladies man.

'Even if he's Louise's boyfriend, I can't stop liking him. It's not fair that Siesta gets to kiss him but I don't.', she thought, totally jealous. When she watched him not moving to dodge the giant's punch, she tried to run towards him desperately to help him, but she was immensely relieved that he was still alive.

Having understood that she liked him, her relationship with Guiche wasn't sweet like before, as she didn't give importance to the earth mage's praises to her beauty. She blushed instead and smiled when it was the swordsman to make her compliments, which brought her to brush her hair well often to look always beautiful to his eyes.

Though, the fact that he gave more attention to Louise irked her, because, even if she knew that they were a couple, she wanted that he looked at her in the same way he did with the pinkette. She wasn't in love with Guiche anymore at that point, so she decided to go to him to tell him about her decision to break up with him, thinking about how she could make Saito love her too.

Meanwhile, the swordsman was now playing hide and seek with Sylphid, smiling while hiding behind some brushes. The dragon searched for him by using her nose, checking behind some walls and near Colbert's laboratory.

Playing a game like that reminded him of his time in the kindergarten, during which he had fun while hiding from his friends and winning most of the times. He wondered how they, along his family, were feeling after he disappeared from his world, getting sad at the idea they were desperate that they couldn't find him.

'I'm sorry I disappeared like that, everyone. I hope you're all fine.', he thought, shedding a little tear from his left eye. That tear dropped on the grass and attracted Sylphid's attention, so she ran towards the brushes and found him.

Noticing his sad eyes, she quickly snuggled her face on his affectionately. "Sorry, I just thought about some people I love and that I will probably never see again. Thank you for cheering me up.", he told her, smiling and caressing her head.

He even gave her a little kiss on the forehead, which caught her off guard and made her blush. "It looks dragons can blush too.", said an amused Derflinger while Saito was surprised. He even got more surprised when Sylphid hugged him and licked his face lovingly, tickling him and making him chuckle. Perhaps he made her like him even more than before, as she followed him also when he went to grab some food from the kitchen because he was hungry.

Once there in fact, Marteau and his coworkers were stunned to see the dragon clinging onto him. "Are you hungry, Our Sword? Take this soup and these steaks with you then; I made them very tasty haha!", told him the chef, grinning.

"You were so brave when you fought that thief, Saito-san! You looked like a prince.", told him a maid, blushing and smiling at him like the others did.

The praise made him blush too and scratch his head, thanking Marteau for the food that gave him a thumps up. Of course, the boy took the occasion to thank also Siesta for the cookies, telling her that they were exquisite and making her smile happily, with her her female colleagues pouting in jealousy. After getting his lunch, Saito decided to give some steaks and soup to Sylphid, greeting her because he had to go back to Louise that had to be hungry. "It's because I love you and I believe in you.", he said, kissing her cheek and making her giggle. The atmosphere got much more romantic and Derflinger totally saw them as happy newlyweds.

He hoped that nothing bad happened to either of them, as he was worried about Reconquista and the conspiracy against Henrietta, and that was why he was always ready to fight along Saito.

"Siesta is really a good person. I'm glad that we saved her from being Count Mott's slave.", said the boy, looking at Montmorency.

"I want also to thank you again for helping me, Tabitha-san and Sylphid to rescue her. You're really kind.", he told her, making her blush.

"O-oh, you're welcome. Y-you helped me before and you consider me your friend, so I was happy to help you."

"If I were Guiche, I would have never cheated on you. Every man will be glad to have you as girlfriend."

"Wait, calm down!", he exclaimed, mote flustered and stopping her. He was stunned by such confession, but he didn't understand what was happening. The dinner to cheer her up turned into a love confession from her to him, and now he had to calm her down and try to understand the messy situation he was in now, which was going to be more complicated perhaps.

Chapter 10 is here, everyone! Well, well, it looks like that Saito wasn't the only person that arrived in Tristain from his world, as the rocket launcher belonged to a Japanese soldier that saved Osman during his youth. The swordsman misses his family and his friends of course, but thanks to Louise and the friends he made, he doesn't feel lonely. In fact, Sylphid comforted him instantly and even received a kiss on the face in return.

His bond with Louise got much stronger now that he took her innocence fufu, but now he's in a messy situation because Montmorency drank the love potion that she made for him.
