Frost Universe, Frozen Lake…

The Galaxy King flew over the frozen lake, noticing that everything seemed unstable, as if the heat made it so everything would collapse at the slightest breeze.

"I don't believe it. Four Yo-kai really did all this?" Frosta asked. "And Sunset said they were called the Hot Clan?"

"Yeah. As the name implies, the four of them love it hot, literally." Hope said. "They're into all sorts of hot things like hot springs and saunas. As for who are in this group, there's Blazion, who makes people extremely motivated for anything. Swelton, who makes anyone he inspirits constantly sweat, Sproink, a former boss Yokai who loves hot springs, so much so that any Hot spring he gets into gets so heated, you get dizzy from it. And then there's their leader Swelterrier, who practically makes any location hot wherever he goes."

"This universe won't last long if we don't stop them." Klonoa said.

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you all here." Homura said.

"Right, you're not exactly great when it comes to withstanding hot temperatures." Makoto said.

"That's right." Homura said. "It's because of an ultimate move Master Valkyrie taught me when I was little, and the price was that I'd become weak to heat and fire. A flame is stored inside of my body for several years until the time comes to unleash it."

"Yeah…but you're gonna have to tough it out…cause I think we found the place." Hope said as they saw a lot of open spots with steaming water. In them was a small lion with a flaming mane, a large oni drenched in sweat, a large pig creature in goggles and a red dog in a cape.

"Hahahaha! See, told you guys no one would bother us here." Sproink said.

"Rar!" Blazion roared.

"Yeah…so nice and steamy." Swelton said.

"That's right. As of now…we have our own private hot springs!" Swelterrier said.

"Hot springs? They're melting the Frost Universe to make a hot spring?" Frosta said.

"Well, this certainly won't do." Francisca said.

"Better go make a formal complaint." Moltar said.

The group ventured down onto the ground, making their way to where the four rested in their hot springs.

"Ah…the Hero Alliance. Come to chill with us on the hot side?" Swelterrier asked.

"Yeah!" the other three said.

"No. We want you out." Jexi said. "You're destabilizing the balance of this entire Universe."

"What? That can't be right." Swelterrier said. "We chose this place because it was as out of the way as you can get. How's it destabilizing anything?"

"You're in the Frost Universe! It's all supposed to be frozen!" Frosta said.

"Yeah well we're the Hot Clan and we like it nice and toasty!" Sproink said.

"Plus it's perfect for staying away from…ugh….her." Swelterrier shivered.

"Her?" Catra asked.

"He means Blizzaria. These four are total wusses around her." Rainbow said.

"Hey, it's not our fault she's clingy!" Swelterrier said. "Whenever she tries to hang out with us, she always ends up freezing everything."

"She's really that powerful?" Frosta asked.

"Oh yeah. Blizzaria can practically ice over an entire volcano." Hope said. "For some reason, she's really keen on spending time with the Hot Clan. Almost like the difference between Hot and Cold doesn't matter to her."

"Yeah, we keep saying Fire and Ice don't mix, but she doesn't listen!" Swelterrier said. "Its like she's oblivious to how some Yo-kai operate and… wait… you didn't bring her here, did you?"

"Uh, well, while we were doing something else, we did sorta run into her, Camellia and Damona on a shopping trip and got their medals." Hope said.

The four looked on in fear upon hearing that. "Please don't call her out!" they begged.

This gave Frosta an idea. "If you don't want Sunset to call Blizzaria so she can bring the Deep Freeze, you have to vacate the Frost Universe so it can get nice and cold again."

"Plus if you want…we have hot springs on our ship." Jexi said.

The four looked at each other, still with the look of fear on their faces. "Deal!" all four of them said.

"There, now was that so hard?" Frosta asked as she collected their medals on their way into the Galaxy King. She then opened up the Medallium to the Legend Pages and placed Swelterrier's medal in Komashura's entry along with Blazion's, and Sweltons medal in Poofessor's.

"Hey, what gave you four the idea to come here anyway?" Hope said.

"Well…it's cause of…something I saw one day…" Swelterrier said.

Swelterrier was seen hiding behind a nearby building as some shadowy figure was grasping some unknown Yo-kai before they started to transform into some monstrous creature. The figure looked back for a moment as Swelterrier hid behind it before he took off running.

"He grabbed a passing Yo-kai…and turned them into a monster…" Swelterrier said, shaking.

"What?!" Sunset said. "What Yo-kai did that to another Yo-kai?"

"That's…the thing. He wasn't a Yo-kai. He was…a human!" Swelterrier said. "And what's worse…he wasn't wearing a Yo-Kai Watch!"

"So at least one of our culprits is a human that can see Yo-kai." Mark said. "Did you get a good look at the man?"

"Not a good one…but I do remember one thing: his eyes were red." Swelterrier said. "I've never seen such scary eyes on a human before."

"He has to be the one. He's the one behind the kidnappings." Sunset said. "He's been turning Yo-kai into those monsters."

"And the one behind Dame Dedtime's revival." Pit said.

"Another piece of the puzzle." Double D said. "The question is, for what purpose would this man transform Yo-kai into monsters?"

"We'll probably find more information at our next stop." Mark said. "The more Yo-kai we befriend, the more we can keep out of our mystery man's hands."

"As of right now…getting as many as we can on our side is our best bet." Sunset said. "Forming a large array for me to summon…is crucial now."

"Sunsets right. It's crucial we follow up on any strange lead we can. Chances are, Yo-kai are behind it." Ichiro said.

"And not just small ones. Big ones will take priority." Sunset said.

"In that case…what about Tokyo? It's always been a beacon for weird stuff. Yo-kai would probably be attracted to it." David said.

"Great idea, David! We'll search there next." Adora said.

And so, the group headed to Tokyo in search of more Yo-kai to re-add to Sunset's circle of friendship. The threat of the mysterious human turning yokai into monsters filled the air, as well as who else this man might be in league with.
