"The Dragon Palace… It's been a really long time since I've been there." Klonoa said. "Wait, is it the same one?"

"Uh…you know, kinda hard to say, honestly." Pit said.

"What's the one we're going to like?" Kieran asked.

"Not sure. Never been there before." Sunset said. "Only heard small talk and such. What I do know is that we need to meet with a specific Yo-kai in order to even try and gain entry."

"Oh yeah, who's that?" Hope asked.

"Odysseynyan." Sunset answered.

"Another cat Yokai? Seriously, what's with all the cat yokai, is there a Cat Yo-kai Bargain basement sale?" Carmine said.

"You don't hear us complaining." David said.

"Hey, what can I say? There is a surprisingly a large number of cat Yo-kai. Though some of them are Jibanyan." Sunset said.

"What? No way." Jibanyan said.

"Let's see…there's Jetnyan, Machonyan, Wondernyan…all three of those are you. As are Baddinyan and Thornyan, so that's five right there." Sunset said.

"Hey! The Fruit and Jewelnyans aren't versions of me!" Jibanyan protested.

"They…are though?" Penny pointed out.

"Something you wanna tell us, Jibanyan?" Mark asked.

"What? Those guys are not like me." Jibanyan said.

"He is right. I simply enjoy being shining, some light thievery and of course enjoying a nice chocobar or two." Dianyan said, walking by.

"You know, come to think of it, isn't chocolate deadly to cats?" Scarlet asked. "Is…is that why there's so many cat Yo-kai?"

"Probably." Leonora said.

"Whoa, okay, we're getting a little off course here." Connie said. "Sunset, what can you tell us about Odysseynyan?"

"He's one of three cat Yo-kai called the Taronyan Trio. They're Yo-kai based on old japanese folktales. In his case, he's based off of Taro Urashima, the protagonist of the story where he goes and finds the Dragon Palace below the sea. The name of said story is also Taro Urashima." Sunset explained.

"Hey, come to think of it, I think we met another Taroynan a while back. Didn't we see a cat Yokai Based off of Momotaro when we were helping DK with the Snomads?" Titanica asked.

"You mean Momotaronyan or just Taronyan for short. And the other is Kintaronyan." Sunset said. "Wonder if any of those…"

"So far, no cat Yo-kai were captured.' Robonyan F informed them. "Taronyan and his three followers have departed to the world Kelly comes from to try and combat their evil head on. Kintaronyan continues to travel as a nomad."

"All hail the cats, I guess." Eddy remarked. "So, where're we gonna find this cat anyway?"

"Hmm…if I remember the tale right…" Sunset said.

The group flew over the Ocean Universe, looking towards an island to see a sea turtle being bullied by a group of teens as a small cat tried to stop them. This cat was light green and carrying a fishing pole.

"Yep. Going to defend the sea turtle as in the story." Sunset said.

"Should we go help him?" Mark asked.

"Three burly guys and one cat…yeah we should definitely help him." Sunset said.

The group landed on the shore as they approached the individuals.

"Release that turtle, you hoodlums!" Odysseynyan said.

"Hah! Or what you stupid cat?" one guy said.

"Stop that right now!" Jexi said as the group stood there.

"And who are…oh man, it's those freaks that go around punishing guys." another guy said.

"Let's boogie!" the third said as they got on some jet skis and rode off.

"My thanks for the assistance, travelers." Odysseynyan said, looking at the group, and spotted SSunset. "My word! Sunset Shimmer before my eyes at last! The day has finally come where I am face to face with the lone warrior for all Yo-kai."

"Uh…likewise. Anyway, we need a ride down to the Dragon Palace." Sunset said.

"Of course. We can ride the sea turtle." Oddysseynyan said.

"Uh, there's just one problem. A lot of us can breathe underwater, but we've got some people who aren't exactly strong swimmers." Mermista said.

"And there's the slight inconvenience that I'm made of magma." Moltar added.

"It's no trouble. Some of us will just stay on the beach while you venture down." Robin said.

"Well, if you say so." Asia said.

The group soon boarded the Sea Turtle as it prepared to dive down into the ocean.

"And down we go." Dan said as they descended down into the deep blue sea.

The sea turtle swam through the vastness of the Ocean Universe, diving deeper and deeper as the heroes rode on it while others swam beside it.

It was not long before they came into the sight of the Dragon Palace as the turtle was…

"Holy moley, now this is a palace!" David said, bearing witness to a palace exterior constructed from pearl, surrounded by a crystal dome. "Eat your heart out, Atlantis."

"Like it?" Oddyseynyan asked. "I would not blame you for being astounded; I too was rendered speechless by its magnificence."

"Hopefully the inside is just as amazing." Izuku said.

"Oh, you bet." Klonoa said.

The sea turtle the group was riding on swam up to the palace gates, dropping the group off as they went inside, walking through walls of coral, trees with emerald leaves and ruby berries before, to their surprise, they saw a vast dining room filled with many different aquatic Yo-kai.

"There are so many aquatic Yo-kai in here." Mayumi said.

Around the room were a couple of different sharks, a yellow fish with a fan tail, two larger fish with knives in their tails, a brown piece of seaweed, a red shell with money, a fish with legs, a couple of eel samurai, an eel emerging from a pot, and a larger fish like Yo-kai in a boat with a fishing hook head.

"Wow…" Leilani said as her eyes were stars.

"Don't even think about cooking them up. You'll just upset your stomach." Hope said.

"Oh I would never do that to the spirits, especially if they're sea creatures. Because my aumakua took the form of a shark, doing that would be an insult to it." Leilani said. She then looked over to Chummer and Shrook who pounded their fists and raised them as she did the same.

"...Sharks still eat fish." Merrin said.

"Or anything that ends up in the water." Ryoma said.

"Let's not get into the minutiae of the details. Point is, we're not eating seafood today." ZS stated.

"So do we just sit down at the table, or are we supposed to keep standing?" Carmine asked.

"We should try and find…" Odysseynyan began before a curtain opened. Floating in was a young girl riding on an angler.

"The princess!" Oddysseynyan said.

"Welcome to the Dragon Palace." Princess Pearl said. "How may I help?"

"I need information. I need to ask about this Enma Tribe." Sunset said.

"Ah…I see. Not much to say. Enma has ruled over the Yo-kai World for a while now. Most Yo-kai from that tribe are either alternate forms, ancestors, or Yo-kai connected to Enma like Lord Acala or Lord Ananta." Princess Pearl said.

"But…it would be impossible to access power like that…right?" Sunset said.

"Well…almost impossible." Princess Pearl said. "I mean, if you had Enma, maybe. But…such a thing is pretty slim."

"Sunset, what exactly did Kelly say about his master plan?" Kieran asked.

"Uh…he plans to maybe…make an army of Enma." Sunset said.

"Given he's an alchemist, he would have a way of doing so." Miriam said. "But how?"

"He would have to construct clone bodies of Enma somehow, and find a way to bring Enma's essence into the clones." David said. "But even as I say that, it sounds like something that takes a lot of time and very specific procedures."

"Yeah, but he sounded like he wanted Enma." Sunset said. "He didn't sound like he was bluffing. He legitimately has a plan to capture Enma."

"He's betting his entire plan on if he can capture the strongest Yo-kai of all time…this guy sure thinks big." Emo said. "Any way he could pull that off?"

"If he had Enma's medal, he could. But mine is sealed off, meaning Enma doesn't want to be summoned. He must have already assumed that was a possibility." Sunset said.

"But Kelly doesn't have a Yo-kai Watch, so he couldn't even use the medal." Mark pointed out. "He must have something else planned, but what?"

"And I still don't know about this purification thing Venoctobot was talking about." Sunset said.

"...Would you like to learn how to use said power?" Princess Pearl asked.

"Wait, you know what he was talking about?" Mark asked.

"Yes. The power to save Yo-kai using the Yo-kai Watch. Please…come with me." Princess Pearl said as they followed her.

She brought them to a cell where a creature inside stared before trying to claw at them. This figure was a crow-like creature with black wings and clothes.

"What is that?" Sunset said.

"This…is a result of what this Kelly man has been doing to the Yo-kai." Princess Pearl said.

"Ugh… This looks horrific. I…actually feel sorry for him." Petra said. "Which Yo-kai was this?"

"Tenguriginal, also known as Karasu Tengu." Princess Pearl said.

"Wait, seriously? The same one we met on the Blue Planet way back when?" David asked.

"The very same. And this isn't even one of the stronger forms of Yo-kai he's twisted." Princess Pearl said.

"This is just downright depraving… The guy is no human at all… He is an absolute monster…!" David said.

"David, I understand you're mad, but please calm down. Karasu Tengu wouldn't want you to be upset over this, even after everything your dad has done to him." Sectonia said.

"Y-yeah… I know…" David said.

"And…this can be reversed?" Sunset asked.

"Yes. And I will tell you how…first…" Princess Pearl said, covering the watch in sacred water. "I've increased the power of sacred light within the watch. Now…I want you to think of your bonds with the Yo-kai you've befriended so far."

Sunset took a deep breath as she thought of the Yo-kai she had befriended so far as the Yo-kai Watch started to shine.

"Now…focus the light on the corrupted." Princess Pearl said as Sunset went and did so. The light seemed to be burning the corrupted Yo-kai as it started screeching and writhing in pain.

"Is it supposed to hurt that much?" Asia asked, worried.

"Don't worry. The darkness is simply being burned away." Princess Pearl said.

The creature continued to writhe in pain as it bashed against the cell before letting out one final caw as a flash of light engulfed it. In its place stood a handsome young man in white robes with a staff as he was staggering a bit.

"Hey, are… Are you okay?" David asked.

"I…I'm back…" Tenguriginal said.

"T-take it easy. You may feel a bit disoriented right now. The good news is that you're back. That's all that matters." David said.

"So…the Yo-kai Watch really is the key." Sunset said.

"Yes. And the purification light will become stronger the more friends you get on your side." Princess Pearl said. "As it stands, you have enough to purify the small enemy Yo-kai Kelly has created."

"So in order to purify higher ranking Yo-kai, we need to find more Yokai. How many have we found so far?" Ichiro asked.

"With what we gained here…263." Sunset said.

"So we need go to at least 500 or Higher if we want to magnify the power of purification." Ichiro said.

"Already halfway to our goal, then." Sir Saiyan said. "And yet, still quite far. We must find a land with a high concentration of Yo-kai."

"We have the Crank-a-Kai on the ship, but it doesn't have an infinite amount. We'll need to focus on super large events." Sunset said looking online. "Oh…here's one. A world based on Dissidia is experiencing strange Yo-kai phenomenon. Including sightings of….of a flying cat!"

"Another cat Yo-kai? Alright, what flavor sets this one apart?" Emo asked.

"Who cares? We gotta get over there." David said before looking to Tenguriginal. "Don't worry. Kelly is not going to have his way Enma or anymore Yo-kai if we have anything to say about it… I promise. We'll pay him back triple for what he did to you."

"Better make that two-hundred-fifty-million-fold. And break his arms and legs so hard that he wouldn't even think of breathing the same air as us ever again." Tenguriginal said.

"Consider it done." David said.

"Then let us depart." Y'shtola said.
