Gina was on her way to the city morgue after receiving an urgent call from one of her field officers. It seemed during a routine night patrol in of the city parks a squad car was ambushed by a bunch of individuals that were small enough to appear as children. But the assailants were carrying weapons and they wailed and pounded upon the vehicle.

The intentions of the hostels were clear. They were meant to do the officers on duty at the time true harm. With no other choice they unloaded their firearms and the group scattered from the car that they damaged so heavily that it barely was able to even to start up. When the chaos was over, and the officers took a moment to collect themselves they discovered something bad. Not only did one of their shots managed to hit one of the attackers and killed it something about the body was unlike anything ever seen.

The Officers were both shocked and fearful. Their years on duty never had them prepared for a moment when a group of over a dozen beings armed to the teeth with what to be swords, hammers, and spears but what they saw at the end result of the chaos required them to be put on administrative leave with extensive therapy.

Gina was informed by their Captain about the apparent attack and the body of the dead attacker was taken to the Morgue for examination. What it was disturbed the coroners they have seen many bodies in their line of work some more gruesome than others but what was given to them was something beyond anything that could be explained. The Chief of Police had to see this for herself and was asked by supervisor to come take a look for herself.

The Police Chief immediately left the precinct and headed for the Morgue. As she drove through the busy city streets the incident with the officer made her think about her own experience the other day. She too was attacked by a rather odd assailant. Had it not been for some kind Samaritans she would have perished. The One who attacked her she never got to see a face or even learn of a motive.

She was the Police Chief and high-ranking officials were always a target of interest to anyone willing to take a risk to throw an organization into panic and chaos from the sudden loss of their leaders, but something was more than odd about the assassination attempt. It seemed different and unlike what most would be willing to try out.

As she stopped at a four way stop light she laid her head on the steering wheel trying to clear her head. She had almost lost her life that very night. If it was not for the ones who came to her aid then her son would have lost his only parent left. Thinking of Jacob, she let a lone tear come from her eye. He was in good hands now that she had hired a nanny, but she wasn't home to embrace him and nearly was disallowed from doing that now that her life nearly came to an end.

What was going on in this city? Ever since the day she became the Chief of Police she did everything she could to safeguard it but now something else was happening beyond anything she could understand. Jacobs safety was a priority. She had vowed on her husbands grave that she would make sure their child will be able to grow up safe and sound in a city free of all crime and the people could walk the streets without cause of worry.

Wiping the tear from her eye she had to get the Morgue to what was this mysterious attacker that was with the group that attacked two of her officers. If an answer could be found then she could make a solution on how to counter this problem before civilians would become at risk. She treated every citizen like they were her own child back him. On the day when her husband was killed her son lost a father and she lost her husband. Any loss meant another family would suffer as she had and that was something she was not going to allow to happen.

Continuing on through the heavy traffic after a rather frustrating hour of driving that should have been less than ten minutes she finally reached the Morgue. She parked her car in the parking lot thankfully a spot that was only allowed for city officials to use was open to her and she went inside and immediately met with the Supervisor.

"Good Morning, Chief." The Supervisor welcomed as he stood next to a staircase that led down to the basement where the Morgue would be.

"Good Morning." The Chief nodded. "I was informed to come here to help inspect the body of the assailant that attacked two of my officers?"

"Yes, I must warn you its unlike anything you may have seen. I don't think any one of us has seen anything like it." The Supervisor warned as he gestured the Chief to follow him down the stairs.

"What can you tell me out of your own opinion?" Gina asked becoming more intrigued while being a lot more worried as this body seemed to have everyone spooked. The Reports on one of the officers in the attacked was rather traumatized by the experience he would need a lot more than therapy.

"If you want my professional opinion I would say it could look as if something came from radiation fallout or the department of agriculture has been putting too much chemical enhancements in their livestock. But in my personal opinion I would say we are under threat of invasion from a fantasy film." The Supervisor joked mockingly as Gina rolled her eyes. She did ask for an opinion but none of that helped.

"Here we are." They followed down a hall at the bottom of the steps and went up to a double door with two security guards on both sides. "Dr. Hadron is in there still examining the corpse. If you have any more questions do ask him, but I warn you again, Chief its not a pretty sight." The Supervisor warned one last time before he turned away and walked back in the direction of where they came.

Gina took a deep breath of encouragement. She seen many bodies during her career but if this particular corpse had many scratching their heads and putting officers at risk then what it was had to be something dangerous. Even if it was dead. She slowly pushed open the double doors and the moment she walked in her eyes caught sight of a body that was unlike anything she had seen. At first sight it looked like a pig, but it had the body like human. Small as a child and dead with its frontal part of its body cut open with a man wearing a white coat with an overall on with a white face mask over his nose and mouth. He was busy dissecting the mysterious creature before he took notice of, Gina who nearly lost her stomach over the sight.

"Chief! I'm glad you arrived as soon as you could." The Doctor called over to her as he was putting down his scalpel and forceps.

Gina had a hand over her mouth in disgust trying her best to keep her composure while the smell of the room was nearly as unbearable as the sight of the hideous looking creature. "What in the name of all things good is that?" She grumbled trying her best not lose it. She envied people like the Doctor who could handle doing such duties without much of a problem.

"Take a good look at this!" The Doctor moved his hand over the dissected body. "It appears I'm readying this one up to sent to the butchery for bacon and pork." He joked but Gina was not in the mood for humor.

"It appears to look like a pig. But that can't be. Unless I am losing my sight am I seeing arms instead of four legs? Does look partially human?" She asked finally turning away and gagged for moment desperately trying not hack up her day's lunch at the moment.

The Doctor nodded and waited until the Chief was finished regaining her composure turning back around clearing her throat putting back down what she nearly was about to let out. "I am telling you Chief you are accurate with your questions. There is no denying that this…thing that attacked your officers is a pig, but it walked as a biped and it carried weapons and if you look behind me on the table it was outfitted and the weapon it had is there too.

Gina looked passed the doctor to see a table where clothing and armor pieces were laying on the table laying only inches apart from each other. She walked over and looked upon what were the possessions of this apparent bipedid pig creature.

She took notice of a light dark shirt and pants. There was chest piece made of light tin and a point helmet. Next to the armor was the weapon used in the attack. A Club with a metallic ball attached to the top of it. Undoubtedly many of the same creatures had to wield such a weapon to damage a squad car to the brink of it being near totaled.

"The Report had told me many of them were armed and wearing outfits like this. But this make no sense at all!" Gina placed her hands on the side of the table taking in a frustrating deep breath. This was bigger than she thought.

"I agree, Chief. Every part I have gone over with this one proves that it is a pig but not like any pig there is. I need more time to make a more accurate analysis. In the meantime, I suggest you keep your men in alert. This is only one of the group that attacked your officers, and they are still out there. And if they were willing to attack officers in their own vehicle like that then I fear the average person who would be out in the streets." The Doctor explained taking off his latex gloves that were so bloody by now that he needed a new set to continue his work. He quickly washed his hands thoroughly before putting on another pair.

"Thank you, Doctor. Keep to your work and file your reports I need to know exactly what this thing is and just how much is the populace is in danger." The Chief said casting one more look over at the vile looking creature that laid on the slab its mouth handing open, and she could make out it had pointed teeth sharper than a normal pig would have. Could the Supervisor had been right in his jokes? Radiation or an apparent alien invasion? Ridiculous as that all sounded the evidence in front of her was clear enough that the officials of the city needed to be told of the danger that lurked.

Gina immediately went back to the precinct. Many have asked her what she had discovered but she would not say yet not until the Mayor had been informed about it. She may be the Chief of Police, but the mayor pulled every official order and only if he agrees with the situation at hand could anything be done about.

Heading to her office she sat down and dialed the number on her office and phoned the Mayor who picked up immediately. Gina had explained the rather strange discovery that sounded far fetched for the Mayors liking. It sounded like a prank or just a well-crafted story to stir heads and the media to take in and spew bad propaganda about.

"Listen, Sir! I was at the Morgue, and I saw it myself! Don't believe me? Go there yourself and see just how dead that creature was!" Gina shouted within the phone as the Mayor on the other end was not having any of this back talk against him.

"Look Chief! Say if it was anything other than a simple pig! Are you telling me I should put this whole city on alert over a tiny little monster? Have a panic on our hands just because the department of agriculture had stuck in their animals with too many enhancements?" He asked his voice becoming very irritated.

"This was no simple farm animal! Then tell me why was it dressed? How did it have a weapon to use against my men?" Gina spat as she gripped a pen so tight that it started to break apart.

"Probably just some teen's who found some pigs and outfitted them and disguised themselves and decided to make a mockery of your incompetent men. I put you in charge for a reason! So far your falling short of my expectation! I strongly suggest you cease with the nonsense and get me results! The City's Law Enforcement is failing, and this incident is proving that so. Get things under control, Gina! You're not paid to sit around and make pouty child accusations! Do your job! Good day!" The Mayor ceased the connection and Gina was infuriated.

She squeezed the pen hard enough for it to snap and she tossed it against the window to her door. She let out a scream of irritation that caused the floor she was on to cease their work for a moment before returning to their activities.

The Mayor was not going to do anything about this. He dared accuse of her of not doing her job? She had done more for this city in her years of being Police Chief. Traffickers and Gangs were arrested and properly warranted to be put on trial and imprisoned. She ensured the safety of the city and did everything she could to prevent the very disaster that befell her inauguration.

She took a moment to calm herself with her fists tightened and her eyes gave angry stares as she looked upon a picture on the wall. It was her and the mayor with happy smiles as she was shaking his hand with an award in the other. The Mayor had given her a plaque for the good work she did in the little amount of time she did in the officer. Months ago, he showed her the greatest of appreciation. Where was that just now? Its like everything he did for her was just a ruse for good P.R and now there was something fowl at play and he was just going to let it slide.

A Sudden knock on her door made her straighten up. She wasn't one to lose her temper that easily but in this rare moment she couldn't help it. When things are becoming serious the very person who could give her the resources she needs to counter this threat and he doesn't do simply because he believes something is not what it is.

"Come in!" She called still trying to collect herself her rage momentary on full display. Entering her office was her best friend, Heather. The Two of them had known each other since they days they started working in the Police Department together. Her Best friend always supported her through every ordeal. While Gina was far more ambitious in moving up the precinct ladder, Heather desired to stay where she was in dispatch. Her Record was straight always taking in any calls of people in need and directed police resources to the problem at hand. When it came to dispatch no one was better than her and she was proud to watch her friend rise through the ranks to becoming the Police Chief.

"Long day?" Heather asked sarcastically. She was the only person who could take to the Chief and be casual instead of professional as long as they were behind closed doors.

"You have no idea, Heather." Gina sighed putting her head upon her hands as the weight of the city's rising problems weighed heavy on her.

Heather adjusted her uniform and ran a hand through her red hair giving her dear friend a sympathetic smile coming to her side and wrapped an arm around her.

"Hey now. Don't feel like that. Everyone knows your going to pull us through it all." She assured in a kind voice.

"Tell that to the city officials. It seems my years of service mean little to them." Gina mumbled still quite upset over the Mayor's words.

Heather could see the stress of work was getting to Gina. It had been too long since she did something to relieve that stress at least a partial of it. What could she do to help cheer her up?

A Thought came to her mind, and she snapped her fingers. "You know what you and I need to do! We should go out. Have a day just you and me like old times. You've been trapped under the bureaucracy for far too long. Lets do something fun after work. In fact, there is a new fashion store that opened up recently just a couple of blocks from here. What do you say?" Heather asked slyly but with hope in her voice.

Gina was a bit intrigued by the offer. It was true that she had been doing so much work lately. But would it be a good idea to not continue the investigation over the mysterious creature. Two of her officers are traumatized and there could be a group of unknown assailants still at large.

"Well, I…" Gina was about to protest but she was pulled to her feet and turn to face Heather.

"Now don't give me that! I know what you're thinking. I am taking you to that boutique! We're getting you out of this work ethic!" Heather stated sharply while Gina crossed her arms and gave her a rather playful look.

"I could have your badge for such behavior against your superior." Gina snickered.

Heather laughed at that. "Oh, if you wanted to do that you would have done it years ago. Now first thing after our shifts end we are going out and that is my direct order to you, Chief." She bopped Gina's nose with, Gina swiped her friends hand away.

"Alright. Only doing this for you." Gina agreed chuckling.

"Good. See you after work then." Heather gleamed before she left the office almost letting out a childish squeal of excitement.

Gina shook her head at friends nature. Always she had been there for her no matter how bad the times have gotten. Despite the horrid situations at hand Heather always knew how to keep a smile on her face and anyone else's.

"I guess I better call the Nanny and let her know I'll be home late I guess." Gina figured sitting back down and picked up her phone dialed her home phone number to inform Mary Poppins of a change of plan in the day.

A Few blocks from the Police Station a Boutique that opened up only a week ago was already drawing in countless customers by the day. So many outfits and styles that it was taking the city by storm. Every woman in town desired to come and see the fashion that was crafted and put on display.

The Dress's on display were of elegant fashion the likes of which that had never been seen before. Nearly official who had a wife desired to come to the place was on the lips of everyone in town. The Store itself was almost perfect but the ones who owned it were less than welcoming.

Grimhilda along with her partner the former noble Lady Tremaine. They both were looking over the lines of outfits making sure they were in the proper order and spaced apart just right. With their own positions gone in the other realm but with a great deal of money at their disposal they decided to work together to bring up something that could draw countless people to them and learn anything they could. Women love to talk while they browse.

The two of them were drawn to the front entrance where their third partner in their business came storming in.

"Confound wretches! They dared lay their filthy hands on me and throw me in cell filled to the brink with filth and grind! I will sue them for this!" Cruella seethed utterly infuriated over her recent arrest as, Tremaine and Grimhilda exchanged amused looks.

"If you watched that short temper of yours then you wouldn't have ended up in jail like a lowly peasant." Tremaine pointed out. Cruella gave her a glare.

"Don't you dare accuse me! I had that boy right in my hands!" Cruella spat when at the corner of her eye she caught something staring at her. So angry she raised her left hand and turned to face the one who was too close to her and backhanded it only to discover it was one of the mannequins and her hand went ablaze in pain. "AAAAAAHHHH!" She screamed and cursed in gibberish wailing her hand about amusing the other two further.

"You lost a child as you lost a group of puppies. And even a mere dummy gets the better of you. I often wonder why the likes of our overlord brought you back after your little accident with your car." Grimhilda chuckled as Cruella held her sore hand and gave the tall woman wearing a black dress with a gold tiara on her head. "Have some gratitude that we called in the favors and paid off the judges and the officers to drop the case and let you walk free."

Cruella sighed as the soreness in her hand quickly faded after constant rubbing. It was true that she would not have seen the light of day right now if it wasn't for those two. Their Business had made them very rich and having met plenty of high-ranking citizens who were eager to buy their clothes with a few pay off's and the promise of a discount or something that was overpriced and could be given for free they would do anything.

Their third business partner decided she needed some time to herself. She needed to unwind and have a good smoke. None of the cheap brand the simpletons had at the jail either. Something that was made for the high class. She walked past two of their regular customers. Yzma and Madam Mim unlike the woman who owned and ran the establishment they had not entirely forgotten their duty was to find that boy and take the amulet. It seemed only Cruella had her sights set straight unlike the two ladies who dedicated themselves only to their new business. Should their master discover that they have lost sight of their duty nothing would save them but if anyone of them would say that one of their own is slacking in their duty they would be just as responsible and they kept their mouths shut.

"Sometimes I wonder why I bother coming. I was an Empress!" Yzma scoffed as she looked over some of the more elegant fashions on the third row among the dozens of rows that filled the building with so many styles to choose from it was no wonder how this store become a popular place to come to for all women of the city.

"Oh, how tragic! How dreadful!" Mim chuckled as she relished in the misery of others. Oh, how she just loved hearing sad tales of those with power or with a seat of power to be taken from them. Their Misery was her joy. "And all taken away by a mere llama. Couldn't kill him. Couldn't be rid of him and he knocked you off the high horse. How cruelly delightful!"

Yzma turned to the shorter woman with her hands on her hips. "Look here short stuff! Keep talking like that I'll have your tongue!" She spat but Madam Mim grinned snapped her fingers and a lone Tongue danced in the palm of her hand.

"Oh? I seem to have yours!" Mim teased as the tongue danced mockingly at Yzma who realized her tongue had vanished from her mouth. She covered mouth in shock and tried to speak but nothing came out only plain moans.

"What was that? Cat got your tongue?" Mim waved her hand and she transformed into a pink holding the tongue in her paw like a captive mouse. Yzma moaned getting on her knee's keeping her mouth covered.

Grimhilda growled as again a pair of her customers whom she knew too well by now were at it again. "Cease that nonsense over there! We are still open for the day! No witness's!"

"Your no fun! At least I still lived and wasn't chased up a mountain and fell down it like an idiot!" Mim yelled back before she transformed back into her human self and Yzma's tongue reappeared back in her mouth.

She wiggled her tongue for a moment to make sure it was back in proper place. "You're going to pay for that!" Yzma shouted but the ringing of the front entrance made everyone straighten up. The Last they all needed was to be caught in an act that the people of this world didn't have to know about.

Two women entered with one being happier than bee on a freshly bloomed flower while her friend was equally ecstatic.

"Didn't I tell you it was great?!" She giggled as Gina wearing some casual wear she kept in her closet at her office along with friend who kept her own set of clothes for after hours at work.

"Just…wow! I don't even know where to start looking." Gina felt almost like a child again. This Fashion store was like a candy shop to her. So many delights and delectables. Some outfits looked so grand that even she couldn't afford it on her salary at least not for a year or two, but they were incredible to look at. She followed her friend through the rows of clothes while some of the store owners looked at the new customers with some suspicion.

The Taller woman who followed her friend around as they looked at many styles of clothing was so familiar, yet they couldn't put their finger on it and allowed them to browse about. The Way those two looked style and fashion were not their strong suits. Just a couple of rabble who gawk at anything that seemed to fill their eyes.

It was made even more clear as they went to the sections that were only had casual wears to choose from and they were going over petty jeans and T-Shirts.

Grimhilda and Tremaine sighed shaking their heads. They preferred seeing people that had taste and class. If it was a rule they could make they would not allow anyone like those two in the store. Only those of official titles and of noble birth. People that looked to have coin to spend on something grander than that simple wear those two women were practically drooling over.

Simpletons that's what they were. Unclassed bigots that didn't know what true taste was. Its only the fact that they were not born into nobility would they understand just how low they are in life and yet they somehow show smiles over something very trivial.

After the two best friends found what they were looking for Gina looked at Heather with a happy smile on her face as they headed for the check out desk where a young cashier wearing short sleeved light green dress with a name tag on it which read 'Drizella.'

"Thank you Heather. I really needed this time out. Really thank you." Gina smiled as Heather was always the rock she could lean on who was there for her when things were down. It was always a wonder why she would never allow her to be promoted from her normal job. She liked where she was and she didn't need more to be happy or useful.

"Its no trouble. I know you have a lot going on right now. I just wanted to remind you that its alright to take a break and enjoy yourself. The City is still standing and its thanks to you. How else would we have a great store such as this?" Gina only chuckled in realization that Heather was right. Despite the troubles that were afoot the City still was in good condition and their time out was proving it.

Once they were at the register the Cashier immediately began sliding their chosen cloths through the scanner, but she looked upset as she throw the clothes in bags without much of a care.

Gina noticed that the young woman was not in a good mood and wouldn't pester her about it. But she could be a little more cheerful.

"Alright. One hundred and three dollars and five cents." Drizella said plainly. She was working. Working! She is of noble birth. Yet she was working like a commoner when she used to have a particular step sister do all their work and she never had to lift a finger.

Gina handed her a hundred-dollar bill and four-dollar bills. Drizella snatched the money and tried to remember how to count change. Been a time since she had to count money that she took out far too much change and tried to remember what ones were the amount but she was becoming a bit frustrated by looking over the coins that she shook madly trying her best not to lose it but her shaking caused the coins to fall from her hands and drop to the floor.

Heather giggled at the sight while Gina showed some pity. "Keep the change. Thank you and have a good day." She said politely while Drizella tried to gather up the coins on the floor while the two best friends gathered their newly bought cloths and left out the same door as they came in only for Mim to run to the door when she heard the clatter of the drop of the coins.

"You miserable little imps! Do you not realize who that was?!" She shouted in anger jumping up and down pulling her hair. "That was the brats mother! You just let her walk away? Idiots! Miscreants! Ne'er-do-wells!" She slammed her hand against her face as it was too late now. Gina and Heather already left out of sight and the passing people now made it impossible to do anything without being noticed.

Everyone of the women in the store had their eyes go wide as they realized they had just lost the easiest opportunity to gain an advantage. For the first time in their own lives, they felt just like common peasants for making such a mistake. A Mistake they hope those over them won't find out about or it will be their heads.
