A.N: Apologies for the slightly longer wait, but chapter five is here.

Enjoy!

Chapter 5: Breathe Slow, Hips Square...

"You almost done, Toomes? This is taking way too long for you to fix.", Shocker said.

It really shouldn't take him almost two days to fix his wings even with the little equipment they had, but with Spider-Man recovering tech faster than they could and with everyone Shocker went up to for help getting caught by him or the cops, this was the result. With the cops on alert, they've kept the town's exits locked down tight.

Now they were in probably (he already lost count) their fourth or fifth hideout since Spider-Man was searching for them all over the place. They were starting to run out of places to hide.

"It's not my fault it's like this. The materials are hard to come by, so we've got to use what we can.", Vulture replied. "Besides, it's your fault we're even here in the first place because you fired that portal gun."

"How was I supposed to know it was that?", Shocker grumbled before asking, "Whatever, you almost done or what?"

"Almost, just a little more and..."

The wing activated and a soft blue glow came from under it.

"There we go.", he said.

"Great, let's bounce.", Shocker said.

"No, not yet. It's broad daylight out there. We'll move tonight."

Shocker groaned.

"Seriously? Do you have any idea how much this place sucks? The high school kids are all horny weirdos, the food's expensive as all hell, the people in this place are brain dead narcissists, and I swear I ran into this lady yesterday and... man, not many things give me the creeps, but that lady sure as hell did.", he said, shuddering at the memory of the woman he encountered.

He remembered her weird, old looking clothes, her slightly frazzled brownish-reddish hair, and the cold, almost empty look in her eyes.

"I know, but if want to get out of here cleanly, that's the way it's gotta be. We won't move this time, we'll stay here 'till it gets dark.", Vulture replied.

"Well, I guess that's good news.", Shocker said. "What about the tech?"

"Leave it, we'll regroup and then we'll decide what to do next. As for the web-head, I've said before and I'll say it again; don't kill him. We'll just get him off our tails and we'll plan our next move."

Shocker was not happy to hear that. He wanted that stuff badly; he didn't go through all of this just to get nothing in the end.

He'll get the stuff one way or another.

Before heading out for patrol, Peter drew some sketches on a notebook he bought earlier in the day.

Doodling had always been a small hobby of his. He wasn't drawing anything in particular, just putting whatever came to his mind on the paper. He drew a version of the spider on the front of his costume, a small sketch of MJ, and the Phantom Thieves logo from Persona 5, a game Harry heavily recommended Peter to play. Peter hasn't finished the game yet, but it's every bit as good as Harry said it was.

As he kept doodling, he was thinking back at his talk with Carrie yesterday. The sudden display of power she displayed as she poured her heart out to him was a shock, but it gave him a deeper understanding of her and the weight she's been carrying. Underneath it all, he saw the heart of someone who wants to reclaim her life and be a positive influence.

He then began to draw a small sketch of Carrie as he thought about that. It didn't take him long to finish it. When he looked at it, he smiled.

Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Programmable Matter sitting on a desk. He looked at both the sketch of Carrie and the material. He asked himself why he kept this instead of bringing it in for S.H.I.E.L.D. to pick up later.

Now, it became clear to him.

"That could work...", he said to himself.

After putting down the notebook and material back, he suited up and started another search for the missing tech in Chamberlain.

Carrie, for the first time in a long time, maybe ever, felt like today was going to be a good day.

Yesterday's events still felt unreal to her, but she was glad it happened. She felt giddy knowing that Spider-Man was offering her help with her abilities and knowing there were more people like her with them.

She thought about it all the time at school. It made her smile, and while it went mostly unnoticed by almost everyone, a few in particular noticed her attitude change.

Rita was one of them. After seeing Carrie in a better mood, she had a very good idea as to why this was the case. She'll have to find a way to thank Spider-Man for this.

Sue Snell also noticed it. While she thought at first it was because she was going to prom with Tommy, there was something else behind it that the couldn't pinpoint. Whatever it was, it made the former Ultra smile.

Unlike them, however, Chris Hargensen was not happy about this. She had just gotten back from her suspension and, for whatever reason, couldn't bail Billy or his friends out of jail this time. When she saw Carrie today and how she was smiling, it really, really pissed her off even more.

Carrie seemed like she was on cloud nine all day today. Whenever she said something to her, she flat out ignored her, pissing her off even more. She had to make sure she gets brought down to Earth when school let out. At lunch, she told the other Ultras of her plan, but a select few did not like how she said it, but went with it to see if she was serious.

Deep down though, they knew she was.

A sadistic smirk formed on her face when she saw Carrie walking by, completely oblivious.

The final bell rang at Ewen High and Carrie started to make her way to their meeting place from yesterday. She wondered how Spider-Man was going to help her with her powers because like he said, he didn't have that ability. Whatever he came up with, she was sure she'll be ready for it.

She was so focused on the subject, she didn't notice the Ultras following her.

"Hey.", Chris called out.

Carrie either didn't hear her or she ignored her.

Again.

"Hey.", she said again, louder.

Again, nothing.

Angry, she ran up to Carrie, turned her around and yelled, "Hey!" to her face, causing Carrie to yelp in surprise.

"W-What do you want?", Carrie asked.

"Chill out, I just wanna talk. Nothing wrong with that, right?", Chris replied, eerily calm. Before Carrie could speak, she continued, "So, you're in a happy mood, aren't you? I was wondering why that's the case. Come on, you can tell me. What is it?"

Carrie didn't dare answer. She wanted to get as far away as possible, but the other Ultras surrounded them.

"I-It's nothing.", she said.

"Oh come on, we all know that's not true. I just want to know what's going on in your little head.", the head Ultra said.

"Nothing, just... nothing.", Carrie insisted.

"Hm... I think I can make a wild guess. You're thinking about...", Chris pondered.

Carrie's eyes widened and her heart raced. She couldn't have known about her and Spider-Man. Like the other day, no one confronted her about it and no one talked about it today either.

"Prom.", Chris finished.

Carrie silently let out a sigh of relief.

"Right?", Chris then asked. Carrie nodded, making her smirk. "I thought so. I mean, I can't say I blame you; I'd have that look too if I knew I was going with Tommy Ross of all people. Any girl would kill for that opportunity. There's just one small... problem."

Chris then slowly stepped forward until she was right in front of Carrie's face.

"Prom was supposed to be my night. I had everything planned out to be absolutely perfect. Then, you get your period, not know what the fuck it was for some reason and I'm suddenly banned from going while you are free to go. I gotta say, that's beyond fucked up, and it's all your fault.", she seethed. "What do you have to say for yourself?"

Carrie gulped. She saw the looks the others gave her before looking back at Chris.

"Um... ", was all she could say.

"You know what, don't answer that, you've got no right. I bet you're real proud of yourself for getting me banned, huh? That's what you wanted, right?", Chris sneered.

"W-What? No! I-"

"Shut up, don't talk! You've done a lot of crazy things before, but this was the most fucked up thing you've done! I've had it up to here with you, you freak! You have no idea how long I've waited for this."

Chris then cracked her knuckles and Carrie knew what was going to happen if she doesn't get out of here soon. Chris had never been overly physical with her in any of their confrontations before. She's been shoved by her, yes, but never punched. Carrie also has never seen Chris so angry before, which really scared her.

Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Sue Snell starting to run up to them. Before she intervened, Heather Shyres spoke up.

"Woah, Chris, what the hell?!", she exclaimed.

"Stay out of this, Heather.", Chris ordered.

"Chris, stop! This is too much! You're in enough trouble already!", Heather pleaded, only to be ignored.

Sue then stepped in front of Carrie.

"That's enough, Chris! Stop it!", she demanded.

"Well, well, look who it is. What, you're her bitch now?", Chris sneered.

"Leave her alone, damn it! Don't make worse than it already is."

"Oh fuck off, Sue. Get out of here.", said Tina.

"I won't. You want her, you go through me.", Sue said in a determined tone.

"That can be arranged. You know, if you stood up to Miss Desjardin, we wouldn't be here.", said Chris.

"We did a shitty thing back there in the showers, Chris. Frankly, we deserved worse than what we got. Hell, you brought all of this down on yourself."

Chris then grabbed Sue by her shirt collar.

"What the fuck did you just say to me?!", she growled.

"You heard me, all of this is your own damn fault. If you just kept your mouth shut for once in your damn life, we could've all gone and we wouldn't be here. But no, you had to run your mouth and cry to your dad about it like you always do. Now look where we are.", Sue said, unafraid.

Chris' fist clenched and she turned to Carrie.

"It's your lucky day, freak. Sue's first, then you're next.", she said.

She then shoved Sue away and brought up her fists.

"I don't want to fight you, Chris.", said Sue.

"I wouldn't want to fight me either.", Chris replied.

Carrie had to do something and fast. The thought of Sue getting hurt defending her was not pretty.

She took a deep breath and slowly raised her fists.

'Breathe slow, hips square, look for an opening.', she thought, remembering Spider-Man's lesson.

"Hey!", she then said to Chris.

The moment she turned to face her...

*WHAM*

Carrie punched Chris on the nose, sending her to the ground.

She didn't have time to process what happened as Tina spun her around to face her. Out of desperation and fear of Tina retaliating, Carrie punched her in the mouth, also sending her to the ground. She then grabbed Sue's wrist and started running from the Ultras.

Chris got up and yelled, "Get them!"

All of them except Heather ran after the two. Chris turned to her and said, "Come on!"

Heather shook her head.

"No, I don't want any part of this. Deal with it yourself.", she said before turning and walking away.

Chris huffed before going after the others.

Carrie still held onto Sue's wrist as the two ran from the Ultras. She was going fast enough to the point where Sue was having trouble keeping up. She was nearly dragged by her until she regained her footing.

"Holy shit, Carrie! What was that?!", she exclaimed.

"I don't know, it happened so fast!", Carrie replied.

She then turned into an alley to shake them off. Some people were working there moving things so they had to get out of their way and even entered a store through a backdoor and quickly left through the front. They went through several alleys to shake them off and through some stores in an attempt to lose them. After going through another store and into another alley, Carrie and Sue looked behind them and saw that Chris and the other Ultras were nowhere to be found and took a quick breather.

The two though about continuing just to make sure, but before they could do that, Sue suddenly clenched her stomach and stopped, the world spinning in her eyes.

"Oh, God...", she muttered.

"What, what is it?", Carrie frantically asked, on the lookout for the Ultras.

"I don't... I don't feel so good.", Sue mumbled.

She looked like she was going to throw up. There was a trashcan nearby and she ran to it before vomiting. Carrie ran up to her, patting her on the back.

"A-Are you okay?", she asked.

"I-I don't know. I h-haven't felt good lately. I don't k-know why. I feel nauseous almost every day and I've been getting t-these massive headaches for the last few days."

"H-Have you seen someone about this?", Carrie asked, still on the lookout.

Sue shook her head and said, "N-No, I've b-been... busy."

The two shared an uneasy silence before Sue managed to ask, "Did we l-lose them?"

Carrie looked around and said, "I... I think so. I don't see or hear anything, so... I think we're good."

Sue let out a sigh and said, "I'll call Tommy to pick us up." before pulling out her phone to call him.

On the first ring, he answered.

"Sue, babe, where are you? You sort of just vanished.", he said.

"Stuff... happened. We're near Duma Road right now.", she said.

"'We'?", Tommy asked.

"Yeah, I'm with... Carrie."

"Really? How did that happen?"

"I'll explain later. We're behind the Bachman Books store."

"Oh, I know where that is. I'll get you two in a bit."

"Great, thanks Tommy. Love you."

"Love you too, babe.", Tommy said before hanging up.

When Sue looked at Carrie, she saw her looking down, but with a small smile on her face.

"What is it?", Sue asked, curious.

"O-Oh, it's, uh... n-nothing.", Carrie said.

"Are you sure? You can... tell me. I won't judge or anything."

"U-Um... i-it's really nothing. I j-just...", Carrie stammered before abruptly stopping and looking behind Sue.

"What is it?", Sue asked, completely unaware of a certain someone behind her.

Sue was then violently thrown aside to the ground by Chris from behind.

"There you are.", Chris growled looking at Carrie.

Carrie could see the bruise forming on Chris' cheek from the punch.

Immediately, Chris grabbed her from the shoulders and pinned her to a wall.

"You're gonna fucking pay for that, you bitch!", Chris sneered.

She tried to punch her, but Carrie pushed her away with strength she didn't know she had.

Chris then saw a defiant look in Carrie's eyes.

"You think you're so tough all of a sudden, White? You're nothing but a freak that needs to remember where her place is in reality!", Chris sneered.

Before she could do anything, she was suddenly turned around and saw Sue back on her feet.

*WHAM*

Sue punched Chris in the face, sending Chris down to the ground again.

Sue went up to Carrie and said, "Come on, let's go before the others-"

However, the other Ultras enter the scene, surrounding Sue and Carrie.

"Shit.", Sue muttered under her breath.

"We're... we're trapped. W-What do we do?", Carrie asked, nudging closer to her.

"I... I really don't know."

'Come on, Tommy! Where the hell are you?', Sue thought.

Tina tried to help Chris up, but the head Ultra got up under her own power.

"Alright, I've had enough of your bullshit, you two! You don't fuck with me and get away with it!", Chris exclaimed.

Carrie whispered to Sue, "What are we gonna do? They're everywhere."

Rather than respond to her, Sue looked at Chris and said, "You think you're so tough with the others around, don't you? Well, you're not! You're just a little brat that cries when she doesn't get her way! When are you gonna grow the fuck up and realize that the world doesn't revolve around you?!"

As Chris and Sue went back and forth, Carrie looked around hoping to find either Spider-Man or Tommy there. If she was brave enough, she would use her powers to blast everyone away and make a run for it, but she wasn't. That would just open up a can of worms that she would rather keep closed.

Yet, she knew that if no one showed up in time, things will get uglier.

Options were running low fast. No matter how she looked at it, it seemed to her that she needs to use her powers to escape her predicament, so Carrie tried to come up with a way to use them without being obvious. She looked everywhere to find something that would at the very least distract the Ultras.

Then, an idea came to mind. Everything had to go perfectly or else everyone would know she is doing this.

All around them were a set of cable lines connected around the buildings. Her plan was to use her powers to make the lines spark and forcing the Ultras to scatter for cover while she and Sue make their getaway.

As Chris and Sue continued arguing, Carrie took a deep breath and focused on one of the power lines.

'Here goes...', she thought.

Flex

Sparks flew everywhere. The sound of buzzing electricity rang through the air. Along that was the screaming and running.

She blindly took Sue's wrist and practically dragged her out of there as the Ultras scattered in different directions to get away from the sparks.

Once they were out, Sue exclaimed, "Holy shit, how did that happen?!"

Carrie stammered, "I-I don't k-know! That was... c-crazy!" to not appear suspicious.

Just then, they saw a familiar car approach them; Tommy's jeep. It looked like he was going to drive into the alleyway until he saw them.

He rolled down the passenger side window and said, "There you girls are. What happened? What's going on?"

Sue got in and said, "Long story, I'll explain later."

She turned her head and saw Carrie still standing where they were.

"Carrie, come on. Get in.", Sue called out.

Carrie took one step forward, turned her head and looked up before turning to Sue and saying, "Actually, I-I'm fine, thanks. I... have to go somewhere."

"We'll take you there. Come on.", Tommy said.

"Um, actually..."

"There you are.", a new voice said from above them.

They looked up and saw Spider-Man perched up on a light pole.

"I've been looking for you. I didn't see you anywhere.", he said to Carrie.

"Holy. Shit.", Tommy said under his breath wide-eyed.

"Are... are you kidding me right now?", Sue muttered.

"O-Oh, uh, you s-see... something happened, b-but it's all good now... I think.", Carrie said to the web head.

"Something happened? What, exactly?", Spider-Man asked.

"Well..."

Before she could answer, she saw Chris and the other Ultras coming out of the alley, slightly disoriented but not done with her or Sue.

'Oh boy. Trouble.', Spider-Man thought as he saw them.

He leapt down next to Carrie, turns to the girls, who stop the moment they see him, and says, "Hello, ladies. Sorry, but we've got places to be. See 'ya!", before he put an arm around Carrie's waist and shot a web before launching the two of them into the air and away from everyone.

As they were high in the air, he looked at Carrie and asked, "Seriously, what happened?"

She only sighed.

At the warehouse, Carrie told him everything that had happened between her and Chris as well as Sue trying to defend her. Everything that was said and done, she told him about it.

"So, that's what happened.", she concluded.

"Wow, that was... a lot. Glad you're okay, though.", Spider-Man said.

"Thanks. My heart's still beating fast, you know."

"It's probably the adrenaline. Take a few deep breaths, that should calm you down."

She did as he said and felt her heart slow down considerably after doing so.

"Better?", he asked.

"A little bit, thanks.", she said with a smile.

"No problem. Hey, we don't have to do the whole testing-your-powers thing if you don't like. We can do it another time."

She did seriously consider the offer, but then decided not to go with it, replying with, "No, I'll still do it. It'll give me something to take my mind off of all that. How are you gonna do this, though?"

"Glad you asked. Take a look at this.", he said as he lead her to the center of the warehouse.

There was a table with various tools on it and around them were several makeshift targets he set up.

"I figured we'd start small, so I came up with this. It's simple; pick something and throw them at the targets. That should be easy enough, right?"

"I guess. So, throw any of these at them, right? Does it matter which ones?"

"Nope, just fling them at the targets."

Carrie nodded and took a deep breath. She decided to go with a screwdriver to start off. Using her powers, she picked it up and sent it flying to one of the targets near them. Next was a hammer and after that was a drill. All of them hit the targets. Most of them hit dead center.

"Not bad, not bad at all. Quick question: do you have to outstretch your arms to activate your powers?", Spider-Man asked.

"No, but it helps me concentrate more on what I want to get.", she replied.

"Okay then, bring the tools back and do it again, but without letting out your arms this time."

She nodded and brought the tools back to the table. She put her hands behind her and lifted whatever tool she wanted before hitting the targets. Though they all hit them, they weren't as accurate as before.

"Alright, there's room for improvement there. Let's go again.", he said.

And so, for the next half-hour, Carrie practiced using her powers both with and without using her hands. The more she practiced, the more precise she was in having the tools hit the targets. Though this came at a price, as she also became tired doing this. She was breathing a bit heavily near the end.

"Can w-we take a b-break?", she asked.

"Sure, no problem. Here.", Spider-Man said as he gave her a bottle of water.

She drank it and then asked, "So, how'd I do?"

"You did great, Carrie. Practice a little more and you won't feel as tired as now. Good job."

She smiled.

"Thanks.", she said.

The two of them then talked about things like more about Spider-Man's adventures and her prom coming up.

"You almost done with the dress?", he asked her.

"I just need a few more touches and I'm done. It's... beautiful, I must admit.", she said.

"I don't doubt it. That Tommy dude is one lucky guy."

"Um, about him, there's something I... neglected to tell you about him.", Carrie said, almost embarrassingly.

"What is it?"

"Well... remember Sue? The girl I was talking to you about what happened earlier today? Well... she and Tommy are actually... dating."

That made him stop in his tracks.

"Um... what?", he asked.

Carrie nodded before continuing, "Yeah. They've been dating since October, actually."

"Wait, if they're dating, why did he ask you out to prom?", Spider-Man asked, confused.

"It's... complicated. I have a good idea as to why he asked me. He asked me once before, but I kind of... brushed it off as a joke someone made him do. But then, he said he was serious about me going with him and... I said yes. He's never done anything to me, so I trust him."

"Why do you think he asked you?"

"Probably because of... something that happened a few weeks ago."

He didn't have to think at all as to what she was referring to. Spider-Man remembered that when he was looking through the social media profiles of the girls that were in that video, he came across Sue's profile. Hers was the cleanest of them all. He also remembered that in the video, she didn't seem keen on cheering and laughing as Carrie screamed.

Sue looked... guilty for what was happening. In the few shots she was in it, Sue had a look of regret on her face as if the weight of what was happening hit her.

"That so?", Spider-Man asked. "You don't need to tell me exactly what happened, just... tell me what you think."

Carrie sighed as she said, "I think she had him ask me to prom as a way of... saying sorry. I can't think of anything else as to why she would do that."

"Has she done anything to you before?"

"Not... not really. I mean, she was around whenever Chris or any of her friends did anything to me, but she didn't do anything herself. She was just... there. When I was a freshman, she did laugh a lot whenever someone did anything to me, but as the years went on... now that I think about it, she didn't seem too into it. Like, over time, she either didn't join in on the laughing, or just... fake laughed, I guess."

"Like she was regretting being part of that stuff?"

"Y-Yeah, something like that."

"If that's the case, why didn't she tell her friends to stop?"

Again, Carrie sighed before saying, "I guess it's because she's been friends with those girls for... years. I didn't go to public school until freshman year, but even then, I knew about them. I think she's... afraid of losing them. I guess I can't blame her, but it's just frustrating that she put up with them for this long knowing that it's all wrong."

Spider-Man nodded in agreement.

"So, after this... incident, has Sue tried talking to you?", he then asked.

"Once... a few days after it happened. I... walked away from her. I didn't want to be around anyone, so I left. After that, she hasn't really... done anything. It was like a few days or maybe a week after that when Tommy asked me to prom. After that, Sue sort of just... stopped being around Chris and some of the others. I did tell you a bit about Chris, right? Sorry, my m-mind's still spinning from earlier."

He nodded and hummed before saying, "Yeah, the girl from earlier and the head of that group; the Ultras, was it?"

Carrie nodded before Spider-Man's thoughts went back to Sue.

Sue seemed more complex than he thought. In his mind, while it was admirable of Sue to have her boyfriend ask Carrie to prom, he wished that she tried harder in talking to her face to face. Maybe then, the two would start to find a path that could lead them to be close, especially because of what happened today.

"So, what now? Are you gonna talk to Sue?", he asked.

"I... I guess. I mean, after what happened, I think it's a given. Maybe... in a weird way, this was good. I mean, I didn't want to punch Chris and Tina so I can help her, but I guess something had to happen for us to... bring us together, right?"

Spider-Man smiled under his mask and said, "The universe works in mysterious ways, Carrie. In the end, it's how you respond to what it throws at you that matters. Maybe you and Sue will get along well. You'll never know unless you try, right?"

Carrie softly smiled as she said, "I guess. I just hope I'm not getting my hopes up."

"You're not, I'm sure of it. And, hey, if anything does happen, let me know, okay?"

"I don't think anything will happen, but I will.", Carrie said. "And... thanks, Spider-Man. You've done a lot for me in just two days. Maybe one day, I'll make it up to you."

"Don't worry about it, Carrie. I'm just glad you're doing better. Now, do you want to keep going?"

Carrie practiced for more than an hour before calling it a day. She started to feel more confident and in control of her powers and more of the feeling that this was a gift rather than a curse. After dropping her off, Carrie went to her room and was able to levitate everything in her room again, this time with more ease.

She wondered how much she would be able to lift if she became more experienced with them. Perhaps she can ask Spider-Man for his opinion next time she saw him.

Speaking of which, tomorrow worried her. No doubt Chris and her group already told everyone about her and Spider-Man. How will everyone react? Will they torment her even more because of it? She took a deep breath and decided to get started with her homework before the night got darker.

She'll be ready.

Not that she has much of a choice, anyway.

Night came and with nothing else going on, Spider-Man decided to head back to the hotel and turn in for the night.

He felt good, real good. Being a mentor to Carrie made him feel proud. She had a long way to go, but with her being a fast learner, she might just be ready to be an apprentice in no time. Assuming she accepts the offer when he presents it to her. Her current situation is still a problem, considering what she told her what happened earlier today.

Chris is pissed that she's banned from prom, and if he knew anything, she might try and get revenge somehow. If that's the case, he has no idea what she and her group were planning. That's a big problem, and he had to figure it out before it was too late.

Because of this, Peter used the laptop to remotely hack into her phone to see what she could possibly be planning. It didn't take long, within a couple of minutes, he got access to her contact list and everything else on her phone, especially her messages.

He looked at her most recent ones, mostly ranting to her friends about prom, him and Carrie. He looked further and saw a message from five days ago that she sent to a guy named Jackie Talbot, one of the guys he encountered the other day.

'Trap is set.', she wrote.

'Nice!', he replied. 'Freak won't see it coming!'

She wrote several similar messages to a few select people, but interestingly, none of them were to her group. In fact, when one of them, Tina Blake, asked her what she was planning since she heard something was going to happen from him.

'It's a secret. I'll let you know more later.', Chris replied.

"I'll give her this, she's good keeping this hush-hush.", Peter said to himself.

He kept looking at her messages, but they were all frustratingly cryptic when it came to the 'trap'. Tina asked her about this plan after hearing something from Talbot, but Chris said she'd tell her only in person.

"Oh, she's good."

There were more messages from today. Chris went on a rant to her friends about wanting to make Carrie pay for what she did, finishing with, 'She'll get what's coming to her, and this time, Sue won't be there to save her ass! Besides, it's also not like Spider-Man is always gonna be by Carrie's side either. He's got other things to worry about, no doubt. Just keep your mouths shut and everything'll be cool.'

"I don't know what you're planning, but I'll stop you. I guarantee it.", he muttered under his breath.

He then connected his phone so that if she sent any messages, he'll be notified. He then decided to take a quick look to see if there was anything else on the other girls in the video. It didn't take long for him to discover that Tina was having an inappropriate relationship with her English teacher, Mr. Ullman, who had his own troubles with rumors and complaints about him showing favoritism and secretly badmouthing some of his own students.

Peter sighed and said to himself, "Seriously, what's wrong with some of the people here?"

When he finished, the police scanner came to life.

"All units, report to the station at once! Shocker is attacking the station! I repeat; Shocker is attacking the Chamberlain PD!"

"Oh crap, that's not good!"

He saved what he got, leapt out of the window and swung to the police station as fast as she could.

Unknown to him, Vulture also heard the call.

"Schultz, you idiot! You'll be lucky if I don't kill you, you dumb son of a bitch!", he yelled as he flew across the sky.

A.N: Again, sorry this took a little longer than usual. Things have been a bit hectic in my personal life and there were some sections in this chapter that were a bit challenging to write. I think they turned out alright in the end.

Anyway, thank you for reading the newest chapter of Along Came a Spider. I hoped you enjoyed it. As always, if you liked it, follow it and put it on your favorites list. Feel free to leave a review or send me a private message. Again, constructive criticism is always welcome!

Hope to see you again next time!
