Her life is a happy one, filled with love and family, but that is upended one day when she falls into another world where she is reborn as the daughter of Poseidon. She will return home, however. Hiatus and Other Announcements

First things first, this story is officially under hiatus until the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. This is pending potential canon information pertaining to Miquella, Marika, and the overall story. Also Messmer.

For other announcements:

I am sad. Right now, the FFN email alert system is once again on the fritz, meaning no one's getting notified of story alerts, and I'm not getting notified of Reviews, PMs, Favs, or Follows. The reason why that hits exceptionally hard is that as of this time next week, May 12, 2024, I will officially be a college graduate, and hardly any of my followers will know.

I like trying to keep you guys informed of the major events of my life.

So, yeah.

I started my fanfiction career as a sophomore in high school, and now I'm a week away from graduating college.

Time flies, am I right?

If there's anyone here from those long ago days, thanks, though I think not. I think they all moved on. In the few PMs I've sent out, they either never responded, or said that life picked up in such a way that they just moved on from fanfiction. I wonder what that means for me, still writing fanfiction almost nine years later.

Speaking of all this time, can you believe it's been a year since I finish writing Piper's Untold Story? The reason I bring that up is because, perhaps strangely and funnily enough, it's actually one of my favorite stories. I think it's a quote, "comfort" thing, if that makes sense. ToA really burns my waffles and always will, so I guess writing the Piper story gave me some weird sense of closure.

And perhaps a feeling of control.

Definitely a feeling of set up, because the Chaos War will be set in the Piper's Untold Story continuity with Spirit-powered Piper and Jason the einherjar.

Speaking of Chaos War, the next story to be finished will be AC:T. It's been long enough by now. I'll need to go back and read what I wrote to refamiliarize myself with Percy's characterization because someone did bring up how he felt different from chapter to chapter.

Well, yeah. That's what happens when I go months between updates while characterizing someone else.

In summary: this story is on hiatus until the DLC drops, I'm about to graduate college, I still reminisce about fanfiction and years past, and will still continue to write so long as I have the time.
