"So do you like cats?" Sebastian asked Cassandra as they were heading into the manor.

"They're fine. But I think I'm more of a rabbit person." She told him. "Strangely enough ever since I was little certain animals were always scared of me for some reason. They would always hiss or growl whenever I try to make friends with them. But that doesn't stop me from trying, a few bites are worth it."

Sebastian made a small laugh. "Really now. How very strange indeed."

As they headed towards the ball room, they saw Lizzie forcibly putting on clothes and dresses on the other Phantomhive servants, besides Mey-rin, and Grell. Finny was wearing a maid's outfit with cat ears. Baldroy was wearing a pink and white sailor's shirt and pink skirt. Tanaka was wearing a princess dress with a tiara and was holding a fan. Grell was wearing a ruffled white dress and headpiece. Sebastian and Cassandra saw Ciel sneaking off while Lizzie was distracted about to head to his study.

"Young master, I've found Cassandra as you requested." Sebastian smiled, calling to Ciel.

"That's great. I'm going to go head to my study there's something I need to do-"

"Really? I don't recall anything that needs to be attended to." Sebastian questioned.

"And why are you in such a hurry to leave?" Cassandra smiled, wondering as well, approaching Ciel getting a little closer.

"That's none of your business-" Suddenly Ciel began to sneeze uncontrollably.

"My lord, you're sneezing a lot. Are you alright?" Sebastian asked him. Then Ciel pushed Cassandra away a little backing up. "Did you get near a cat?"

"One did cross my path as I was about to leave. I couldn't help it." Cassandra told him.

"Sebastian go and find her a new change of clothes. I'm going to my study." Ciel spoke and walked away, heading to his study.

"Come with me." Sebastian told Cassandra and he took her to her room. He opened a wardrobe revealing some dresses inside of it. "Just lay your other clothes on the bed and I'll clean them up later. You can manage on your own, yes?"

"Yes. I'll be fine." Cassandra told him.

"Now I must go and see what's on the young master's mind." Sebastian told her and he left the room. Cassandra shimmied out of her black dress, revealing underclothes underneath. She walked over to the wardrobe and began to pick through the dresses, wondering what to wear. Pink...definitely not. White...Meh. Black...been wearing it for a while. Blue...not really her color. Then Cassandra found a dress that caught her eyes and she pulled it out. It was a sleeveless ball gown in gothic style black lace, the bust was completely black in between grey, and the bottom was red. Cassandra put it on and walked over to the mirror, looking at herself.

"I suppose it's better than nothing." She murmured and left the room to find Sebastian and Ciel, heading to Ciel's study. Cassandra knocked but received no response and opened the door. Her eyes widen a little in surprise to find Sebastian and Ciel standing in the middle of the room, dancing, well trying to. Cassandra snickered covering her mouth laughing a little. Ciel heard and quickly turned to see her and immediately stopped.

"Let go." He ordered Sebastian. Sebastian blinked a little surprised and smiled and released Ciel.

"As you wish, my lord."

"Don't stop. That was actually pretty good." Cassandra smirked.

"I was giving the young master a dance lesson."

"You can't dance?" Cassandra looked back at Ciel.

"Sebastian's too big. I can't keep up with him. This whole thing is ridiculous."

"Dancing is a necessary skill for a person in your line of work, master. However..." Then Sebastian smirked, his lips turning upwards a little. "Maybe Cassandra can help you with your lesson."

Both Ciel and Cassandra's eyes widen a little. "What!?"

"Well, she is closer to your height, but a few feet taller. It would be a little easier for you."

Ciel's mouth dropped a little, still flabbergasted. "You can't be serious!"

"Well, I was actually about to volunteer before Sebastian mentioned it. I do know a little." Cassandra replied. Ciel's eyes widened and Cassandra took Ciel's hand, placing his other on her side and she placed her other hand on his shoulder, showing him a little. "Normally, you are going to have to lead. So just follow my footsteps." The two began to slowly sway from side to side, making small circles. Ciel did step on Cassandra's toes a few times before he was finally able to catch up to her. Cassandra smirked deciding to turn it a notch and she twirled Ciel, who yelped in surprised. "Don't be afraid to add a little flair as well." She smiled and stopped.

"And that's that. I'd say you're an adequate dancer at the least. I think Lizzie will be impressed."

"I believe it's time. Shall we go?" Sebastian smiled.

Ciel and Sebastian went ahead and got dressed, wearing a dark blue suit and Sebastian slicked his hair back a little wearing glasses. Cassandra was waiting outside Ciel's study as they got ready and the three headed to the ball room.

"This dress! It's atrocious! So white and girly and frilly. If I have to dress up, why can't it be in a sexy shade of red and a waistline that will flatter my figure!" Grell shouted dramatically and was about to kill himself again by jumping out the window. But he stopped when he noticed that none of the servants intervened. "You aren't going to stop me this time?" All three of them were tired at this point. Baldroy turned when he heard footsteps coming down the stairs and looked up and his eyes widen. Grell looked, wondering what he was looking at and his eyes widened in shock and so did Finny and Mey-rin as well. Finny and Mey-rin gasped in awe running over to Cassandra.

"Cassandra, is that you!?" Mey-rin exclaimed.

"You're so pretty!" Finny shouted as well.

"It's not really that big of a deal. It's alright at best." Cassandra told them. Grell still stared at her, completely entranced. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. Why was he acting like this? He felt something strange that he had never felt before and usually it was with an eye-catching man. This woman brought out feelings that was unknown to him. It confused him and scared him at the same time.

"You..." Grell spoke catching Cassandra's attention and she looked at him.

"Yes?"

"You look beautiful." Grell stammered, nervously, smiling a little. Cassandra blinked looking at him surprised, blushing a little.

"Thank you." She smiled back. Then Sebastian and Ciel came down the stairs and Lizzie squealed running over to Ciel. However, she stopped when she saw the big blue sapphire ring on Ciel's finger.

"Ciel why aren't you wearing the ring I bought you? It matches your clothes perfectly. Now, where did it go?" She demanded.

"It's-" Ciel spoke before Lizzie giggled and snatched Ciel's ring off of his finger, keeping it away from him.

"It's mine now!"

"Lizzie, give it back!" Ciel shouted at her, furiously. Lizzie flinched and blinked, looking at Ciel in shock.

"W-Why are you getting mad at me?" Lizzie stammered before she clenched her fist holding the ring, angrily. "I hate this ring! I hate it!" and she slammed the ring hard on the floor and a large piece cracked and broke off from it. Cassandra's eyes widened. That ring...Lizzie...She didn't know what she had done.

"Ciel-"

Ciel was going to slap Lizzie, but Sebastian stopped him.

"Master, you forgot the walking stick that we went to so much trouble to get." He smiled, handing Ciel his walking stick. He stepped in front of Ciel as he tried to calm down, looking at Lizzie who was tearing up a little. "I'm sorry for my master's actions. You see that ring was very special to him. One of a kind, actually."

"It was special?" Lizzie blinked.

"Yes. It was passed down from each Earl of Phantomhive through generations." Sebastian explained. Lizzie's eyes widened and she quickly turned to Ciel.

"Ciel, I'm sorry!"

Ciel picked up his ring, staring at it for a moment and he walked over to the window and to everyone's shock, he tossed his ring out.

"Ciel, why?" Lizzie sputtered.

"Even without it, I'm still the Earl of Phantomhive." He spoke. Sebastian eyes widened a little as well before he smiled.

"Well said. Now, how about we get to the celebration, shall we?" He pulled out his violin and began to play it.

"I'll help by singing!" Grell ran over, standing beside Sebastian and began to sing harmoniously. Cassandra and the Phantomhive servants stared at him in shock.

"He can sing!?"

Ciel and Lizzie began to dance with each other, spinning around the ball room. The servants danced as well, and Cassandra silently watched them. Then a hand suddenly appeared in front of Cassandra's vision.

"May I have this dance?" Grell asked her. Cassandra's eyes widen a little, staring at his hand for a minute then she took it. The two started to dance with each other.

"So, you can sing, and you can dance. What else can you do?" She asked him. Grell smiled, nervously.

"I'm entitled to my secrets."

"Ciel, you're a wonderful dancer!" Lizzie smiled.

"I had a little help from Cassandra." He told her. Lizzie's eyebrow twitched a little.

"How nice." Lizzie clenched Ciel's hand tightly, cracking it a little. Ciel yelled out a little in pain. Lizzie immediately released him.

"I'm sorry!"

"It's alright. I didn't think you would have a strong grip." Ciel replied and the two continued to dance with each other until the dead of night.
