After the briefing of the day school was in full swing, bustling with activity as aspiring heroes attended their various classes and honed their quirks.Izuku Midoriya could hardly contain his excitement despite the lingering unease that had followed him since the morning. He greeted his friends with a smile and dove into the lessons with determination.
First lesson of the day. Sensei began his lesson on combat strategies and quirk application. The atmosphere was intense, and the students eagerly absorbed every piece of advice. Yet, there was something different about the practical demonstrations he felt they were off but he brushed it off, it wasn't uncommon for a teacher to change styles after all he told himself. Sensies tactics seemed unusually aggressive, pushing the students to their limits and beyond. " a real hero must be firm, and unwavering if someone gets in your way they should be deemed a necessary sacrifice for the greater good.
As the training continued, Midoriya couldn't help but notice sensie's demeanour had shifted slightly. His usually stern expression held a darker edge, and his words carried a hint of hostility, or had they always and he just hadn't notice, it didn't really matter it felt right though even if it was subtle, it was enough to stir discomfort within Midoriya.
As the lesson ended, midoriya finished up on his last notes and looked at the board it was kind of blurry, really blurry but he remembered sensei had said it was ' anyone who gets in your way is just collateral damage ' he stared at the strange words for some time, he didn't want to say it but sensei had really bad handwriting, feeling wrong but he knew it was right, sensei had said it, the words started moving on the page, the conflicting feelings drowning him, he was going to be sick." Hey midoriya, cmon man it's time for next lesson" Kirishima appeared smiling showing off his shark-like teeth proudly, hadn't he already left, no it didn't matter " ye sorry I'm fine" midoriya replied the twisted feeling fading.
Kirishima smiled as midoriya got up and they walked together chatting about the previous lesson, all thoughts doubting it fading, it was right he knew that he thought confidently.
Next up was hero ethics, taught by Thirteen. The lesson centred around the importance of justice and hero responsibilities while it was similar to sensei's lesson there were a a few different things it helped go over the strategies but was a bit more practical, for example they'd put the strategies into actual use in training grounds, they'd plan them for a week then put it in practice the next. However, this time Thirteen's teachings took an unsettling turn, it felt wrong again. The notion of achieving justice at any cost was emphasised again, with little regard for collateral damage or potential consequences.
Midoriya exchanged glances with his friends, who seemed to be absorbing the lesson happily, " see nothings wrong" he muttered angry at himself. He should he honoured by these teachings after all it took to get into UA they wouldn't teach them anything unheroic and 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, he sighed, they had a short break before English, it wouldn't be that bad he just 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 to find 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐨, that would make him feel better, he smiled.
He found 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐨 pretty quickly, in the halls where it was empty, ghostly empty, but he was ignoring that after all 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐨 was here, he felt happy and warm inside looking at him made everything melt and he'd feel like he was floating, even the handprints on the windows banging on it weren't enough to distract him, they left pretty quickly so why should he be bothered about it." We're in the same class now izuku, you can relax don't worry about a thing" he smiled.
English went by pretty fast, it wasn't related directly to heroics, but it was still a required class for talking in other countries, he and his friends grouped together trying to figure out nouns, he hated English really, the rules were a pain he groaned about to give up, when Todoroki started rambling about how he got it and shared it amongst them. Then they had an interview class how to deal with overbearing press, sensei said the key was to say what they want to hear and get them comfortable, creating an image of yourself based on 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 was 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 so the public would trust what you were doing was right, it made perfect sense.
During lunch break, Midoriya decided he wanted to be alone so went outside for a brief walk around the school, the unease was building and he needed a break. He walked slow and watched birds fly by, " if my quirk was to be able to turn into a bird I think I'd like that ha," he muttered, he'd always wondered about what it could be like having a quirk before he got one for all, it was a habit that soothed him, thinking about quirks, their strengths and weaknesses, sensei would teach him how to exploit those that he found it was great, sensei would help guide him on this path to being a true 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨.
Their lunch break was half an hour " half an hour 30 minutes, exactly half no more no less" he stated the fact, it helped calm him as he found a tree to sit by taking his notebook out the brightly yellow coloured backpack that had gone through so much, he felt like he should apologise to it honestly.
Notebook #72 hero analysis he had been using this one from the start of the year so he didn't heed to check he knew it was, he needed to add things to thirteens page, he had gotten a few quirk questions in finally answered.
Flicking the pages in a hurry, he couldn't wait to add more to his analysis, black hole he mused a quirk that creates a vacuum and sucks everything up in the area just like a real one, " so cool" he thought. " here we go" and that should be page 60 he knew this book like the back of his hand.
"Weird hah" midoriya squinted but he couldn't make out the words he had wrote months before they were scrambled and blurred?maybe had just smudged it really really bad when he had written it, it was giving him a headache, closing the book and deciding to write it down later making a mental note.
The day pressed on, and the subtle feeling of unease continued in other classes as well. From Hero Law to Weapons Training, each lesson carried an undercurrent of darkness and aggression that made him feel 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 and sometimes he could see things again like earlier.
The final class of the day was with Sensei again, a beacon of hope and inspiration. As he stood before the class, Midoriya couldn't help but feel a wave of relief. Maybe here, in the presence of his idol, he could find clarity and solace.
However, even sensei's lesson seemed slightly off-kilter. His words, though cloaked in encouragement, hinted at the cost of heroism and the sacrifices one must make to achieve greatness. The feeling of being watched resurfaced, and Midoriya found it hard to focus, as if an unseen force was trying to cloud his judgment.
As the school day drew to a close and Class was then dismissed, before he could leave All For One approached Midoriya with a smile. "Izuku, my boy, stay behind for a moment. There's something I'd like to discuss with you."
Midoriya hesitated, his heart pounding with a mix of curiosity and caution. "What is it, sensei?" he asked, trying to mask his unease, he couldn't know how pathetic he was being worrying over perfectly 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 things and seeing stranger things.
"Nothing to worry about, there's just been a slight problem though it appears it's not your fault, my brother can be quite stubborn after all he's taken a liking to you, my dear boy. Just a slight maintenance to reinforce things and ofcourse to ensure your growth as a hero," All For One replied cryptically, placing a hand on Midoriya's head.
" huh" he was confused then, the world around him blurred for a moment, and he felt like he was drunk on oxygen, it was all blurred and perfectly 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 today had been 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 why was he worrying again?.Better Yet, why was he just standing there, how rude of him quickly apologising to his sensei he began to leave the world still appearing strange but it was 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 it was 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭.
"See you tomorrow young hero. I have great expectations for you, remember your anger is a great tool Don't dismiss it" All For One said, dismissing him with a wave.
As the day ended and he made his way home, Midoriya felt content. As everything in the world was right again, he hadn't seen any flickering lights or ghosts wrapped in shadows, never will, never have, he knew being with sensei would make things better he walked with a smile,
He got home without any trouble at all, his mother had cooked his favourite meal of Katsudon for tea, he thanked her and happily ate it, afterwards going to his room to complete some set homework, still feeling fuzzy he couldn't care less about the title he was tired that's why he couldn't read it but the teacher had said it was something about killing or something he mused after all a hero would eventually kill so they better know how to do it properly he smiled lazily.
After when the sky darkened and moon rose he took a quick little shower to refresh from the day, got into his night clothes and lay in his bed setting those alarms Iida gave him " what a good friend" he yawned tiredly it really couldn't get any better!.

Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi sat in his office, filing through the latest paper work while Idley eyeing the investigation board, the league of villains had been quiet of late. Speaking of late he stood up and looked at the time " i should go get some rest" he sighed stretching his arms up when All might burst through his door with an intense but worried look before falling to his knees and coughing up blood.
Quickly the detective closed the door and handed Toshinori a handkerchief while he shrunk into his skeletal form."You need to more careful," he sighed looking at his friend"what's the problem?"
"it's midoriya" he rasped still out of breathe, clearly he ran here
"what about him?"
"He's….he's been taken"all might looked down angrily
"All for one has him"he stated the severity of this seeping into the man's mind
"crap"
