The city streets were eerily quiet as Izuku Midoriya walked home alone late at night. His mind was occupied with thoughts of the day's events at U.A. High School, particularly the unsettling encounter with the league of villains during a training session again. A shiver ran down his spine as he replayed the scene in his mind, how he couldn't protect his friends enough, though in the end everyone was more or less fine, he sighed.

Lost in his thoughts, following the usual trail home, though it was darker since everyone was kept behind to give a statement on what happened. Continuing on Midoriya failed to notice the figure lurking in the shadows until it was too late. Suddenly, a sharp blow to the back of his head sent him sprawling to the ground, dazed and disoriented. Before he could react, he felt a heavy weight pressing down on him and a shark prick stabbing burning into his neck, and his world faded into darkness.

When he came to, Midoriya found himself tied to a chair in a dimly lit room. Panic surged through him as he struggled against the restraints, but to his horror, he realised that he couldn't access the power of One For All. His quirk was suppressed, leaving him vulnerable and defenceless.

" This is fine, it's all fine" he repeated the mantra, calming himself. Thankfully they did have a class on this particular scenario, they created a list of Do's and Dont's. " Alright Don't panic, control your breathing" he muttered, Control your breathing, Don't make a lot of sound, check out surroundings.

There was an empty table and a chair, he couldn't see the walls but it stank, the lightbulb was clearly dying so this place is old " maybe a cellar" he thought. His hands were tied behind the chair, it felt like rope, all he had to do was twist his wrists against each other and the friction should help break free.

But things never go exactly to plan, there were footsteps heading towards the room, now racing to get the rope of midoriya grinded his teeth and could almost feel it loosening ignoring the burns currently embedding into his wrists. So close.

Then there was a laugh, he didn't even notice someone come in, he winced." I wouldn't do that if I were you" a stern and chilling voice said.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, young hero," the familiar voice echoed in the room. All For One stepped into the dim light, his sinister grin sending chills down Midoriya's spine.

"All For One," he growled "what do you want?" Midoriya demanded, trying to mask his fear with defiance.

"Oh, my dear boy, I want nothing but what's best for you," All For One replied, his tone dripping with false concern. " please why would you care about that," midoriya spat rolling his eyes.

He just laughed Waking forward and grabbing his chin forcing midoriya to face him " Oh my boy, why wouldn't I, after all…" pausing for a moment" you are 𝐌𝐘 son"

Midoriya's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. The revelation shook him to his core, and he struggled to process the information. A part of him wanted to deny it, but he couldn't ignore the undeniable feeling of connection to the villain standing before him.

"You're lying! I don't believe you," Midoriya retorted, his voice trembling.

All For One chuckled darkly. "Denial won't change the truth, my boy. You have a darkness within you, my blood runs through your veins as we speak" he laughs " With your adorable little notebooks analysing every inch of a quirk just like me.Together, we can achieve great things, reshape the world according to our desires."

"No! I won't be like you. I'll become a hero, just like All Might, and protect people with everything I have," Midoriya declared, trying to cling to his unwavering belief in heroism.

All For One's grin widened, a glint of malevolence in his eyes. "Ah, the naive idealism of youth. Heroes are nothing but symbols of false hope. They preach about justice and saving lives, but they are blind to the harsh realities of the world. You should know that first hand, being quirkless and having to face society's judgment because of that"

As the villain continued to weave his words, Midoriya felt a flicker of doubt in the back of his mind. All For One's twisted logic began to creep into his thoughts, questioning the effectiveness of heroism and the sacrifices it demanded. Yes he was abandoned by society for not having a quirk but he didn't care, he would save others, save everyone.

"But what about the innocent lives that are lost in the process?" All For One taunted. "Sometimes, sacrifices must be made for the greater good. Embrace your anger and unleash your true power. Only then can you protect those you care about."

Midoriya's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He knew the importance of preserving life, but he couldn't ignore the nagging doubts that All For One's words had stirred within him. The weight of responsibility seemed heavier than ever before.

"I won't let you corrupt me. I won't abandon my ideals, after all even if you are my farther it's because of you everyone I care about is in danger" Midoriya shouted, his voice wavering but resolute.

All For One's expression darkened, frustration evident in his tone. "You're just a foolish child. But mark my words, my little Izuku , one day, you will see the truth and come to embrace your destiny. The prince of darkness"

As the confrontation stretched on, Midoriya grappled with his inner turmoil. He refused to accept All For One's twisted version of heroism, but the doubts lingered, threatening to undermine his beliefs.

It was a few minutes of silence before the villain spoke again, " when Tomura attacked you and your little friends today, did you notice it" he smiled" I can see it's been in effect our entire conversation"

"What are you on about,"

"Oh didn't you see," all for one sighed " I suppose your intelligence is not quite there yet, I guess I can give you a hint"

" wasn't the fog pretty thick today my boy" he said as if they were having a normal conversation

Midoriya thought for a moment, while they were fighting there was green fog, he thought he was seeing things though. He shot a look at him " what did you do all for one!" He shouted

"I'd rather you call me father" he replied

"Tch never"

"we'll see about that" he laughed " you see my boy the fog simply let a mental barrier of sorts in your head down, makes it easy to suggest things, though I didn't use enough to make it barley noticeable"

Midoriya sat there in silence, thinking, he needed to get out of here worrying what that monster would do to him, the heroes would come he assured himself for a moment, they will.

"Now then" all for one broke the silence " I'll give you a choice, as you are my son you deserve that, join me by my side or….well that parts a lot more complicated and definitely longer." He spoke

"I'll never join you!, I'll be a hero and stop you," his resolve strong.

All for one clapped " how noble, stubborn just like your dear uncle, my brother, the long way round it is" he smiled, midoriya trying to remain calm and breathe.

"since you defy me" he said raising his hand as that green fog seeped out of his skin and surrounds midoriya"

"I'll just have to convince you that you're a villain, don't worry you'll be safe while you sleep, I'll make sure of that but while your dreaming away, what's left of you will be obeying me" he laughed as midoriya's eyes widened, struggling against the bindings even more now thrashing about as the fog consumed him. A hero would save him.
