Hey Everyone! I hope you are doing well! Sorry this took so long to come out. I had a really busy week and then I didn't end up writing as much and then I felt bad that I didn't post so I started getting writers block because it felt like I needed to make up for not posting. Then it just got worse as more weeks went by and I finally just decided that It was okay if the chapter was short and sweet and not some crazy revolutionary chapter. It's better to just start writing something! I will be better in the future about posting, I swear. Sorry everyone! Hope you enjoy it anyway! Lots of Love- Lorna:)

Also thank you all for your comments! I really appreciate them and look forward to reading them!

"Obi Wan?"

Searing pain shot through Obi Wan as he opened his eyes to blinding light, only mitigated somewhat by the familiar presence of Cody, Waxer, Boil and Kix.

"Don't-" Kix began as Obi Wan pushed himself up. Immediately stars speckled him vision and he fell back to the floor again. "-do exactly that. You have a concussion and a back that's more bruises than skin."

"What happened General?" Waxer asked, kneeling by his side.

"I'm not quite sure." Obi Wan responded, a small truth mixed with a larger lie. "Where's Anakin?"

All the clones flinched at the name.

"He's fine. You know him. Soon as he was conscious he was off." Boil replied.

Cody hadn't yet spoken, and it was more unsettling than the worry that was pouring off of his men. It was still foreign to have people care for his well-being, much less four very worried and over protective clones that were hovering over him. Something in Obi Wan's gaze must have spoke of the discomfort Obi Wan felt, or perhaps Cody was just more attuned to Obi Wan's nuances because he sighed as he pushed himself off the floor.

"Waxer, Boil, let's give the General some room to breathe. I doubt Kix'll be happy if he has to go and resuscitate him. Coric will have my head too, if he so much as thinks we didn't take care of him properly."

Boil and Waxer grinned as they took a couple steps back, letting Kix very carefully help Obi Wan sit upright and lean against the wall.

"Bout' that General." Waxer's eyes had a mischievous spark Obi Wan had missed. "Coric'll probably stop by later and lecture you, so best of luck there."

"Why will he be lecturing me? I didn't throw myself into a wall." Obi Wan remarked.

"Well that may be true, but it doesn't particularly matter to Coric. Also just prepare for the longest reprimand you've ever had, cause this is years worth of slowly building medical pressure that now meets it's inevitable explosion." Waxer and Boil shared a knowing laugh at Obi Wan's expense. "May the Force be with you."

Obi Wan scowled. "As much as I appreciate that, I'm still a tad confused on what I'm about to be so thoroughly criticized for.

"Well…" Kix started, as though he were trying to negotiate with a temperamental child. Obi Wan would know the tone anywhere. He used it on Anakin nonstop. "It might have slipped past your attention, but you weren't in particularly good health when you arrived."

Obi Wan fought the urge to make a remark about being dragged through literal flames.

"And I'm not just talking about the burns from your skirmish with Lord Vader." Kix continued noting Obi Wan expression. "You were malnourished, although not severely, decently dehydrated, sleep-deprived, and overworked. Not to mention the signs of other fights before Vader. And - don't try to deny that there were other fights, I was a karking war medic, I know how bruises and scars age."

Obi Wan closed his mouth, stopping the denial he had on the tip of his tongue.

"That information may have found it's way into Coric's hands." Kix finished looking smug. "And I figured that you only need one lecture so you won't hear anything else from me."

"How did it 'find it's way' to Coric." Obi Wan asked, finally finding his voice again. Sarcasm was laced into his words.

Boil, Waxer and Kix all gave Cody a brief glance and looked away.

"No clue sir."

"Hmm." Obi Wan acknowledged. "What unfortunate luck, I seem to have."

"Or fantastic luck if you think about it." Boil supplied.

"Oh No." Waxer joked, elbowing Waxer in the stomach. "Force forbid someone tells you how to take care of yourself so you can live longer and healthier."

Cody and Kix laughed, and Obi Wan thought that hearing his friends laugh almost made his suffering worth it.

"All it's going to take is a four hour lecture I hope one of you is going to be stuck watching." Obi Wan snipped.

Cody winced. "Forgot about that. Well, at least I get front row seats."

"We'll take your shift Commander. You work too hard, take a couple hours off." Boil quipped, linking arms with Waxer.

"Oh no. I'm looking forward to this." Cody eyed Obi Wan who sent him a wave of gratitude and relief.

Obi Wan rolled his eyes. "Nice to know that you are already enjoying my suffering."

"Sorry General Kenobi." They said in unison, well, other than Cody who just gave him a smirk.
