Chapter 13: Musical Chairs
"Princess, 'tis time for torture!" 664 declared proudly. Her teammates stood on the opposite sides of her as they faced down the usually tortured Princess. Alpha stood in the corner of the cell to advise this session of torture.
"Considering this is my last day of wearing this stupid clown outfit, I'm feeling pretty confident in my chances today!" Princess declared with her usual bravado.
"Your chances of looking foolish?" Ex sighed.
664 smirked at her. "Strong confidence there, Princess, but you'll be left in utter terror once you see what we've got planned!"
"664 spent all week planning this torture!" 665 added.
"Exactly-wait, how do you know that?!" 664 gasped.
"I read your diary." The busty number said innocently. She would've gotten strangled by the shorter elf had 666 not held her back in a full nelson.
"WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO READ THAT?!" 664 yelled.
"It's fine, 664! I'm not going to tell anyone that you give your Lord Shadow plushies little kisses before going to bed-oop!" 665 quickly covered her mouth after letting that slip. Her team leader's face was steaming hot red with embarrassment. Even 666 had steam coming out from underneath her mask, clearly embarrassed for her teammate.
"You're dead!" 664 hissed.
"Ah hem." The three numbers stopped and turned to their superior. Alpha gave them all a stare to get on with the torture or they'd be the ones getting punished.
"R-right! Apologies, Lady Alpha!" All three bowed apologetically.
"It's fine. Just carry on." Alpha responded. She did feel a bit bad for 664 for having that secret shared, since she also gives her Lord Shadow plushies kisses every night. Ensuring that her dreams were filled with hot steamy images of herself and her master engaging in very intimate acts.
664 coughed into her hand, face still a bit red. "W-where were we?"
"Uh…a torture session? You said something about me not being prepared for it?" Princess reminded her.
"R-right!" She looked towards 666. "Quickly, 666, get the chairs!"
666 nodded her head and quickly exited outside of the cell. She returned just as fast with three foldable chairs under her arms. The masked number placed the chairs back-to-back in the center of the prison cell.
"What exactly are the chairs for?" Ex asked.
"A game that I'm certain you've heard before! The four of us are going to play a game of Musical Chairs!" 664 declared, proudly.
"A game…? Of Musical Chairs…? Is that truly the best you could come up with?!" Ex's exclamation caused the short elf to flinch back.
"The hell do you mean by that, you tsundere sword?!" 664 fired back. "I'll have you know that Musical Chairs is a pretty intense game! One must always be ready for the music to stop at any time during the game! Even the slightest moment of being caught off guard or moving too slow can mean certain doom!"
"Heh."
A tick mark appeared on the short elf's forehead. She glared daggers at the talking sword that dared to mock her and her methods. "Got something you want to say?"
"You seem to have miscalculated, 664! You're dealing with the Princess! The Captain of the Legion's Third Imperial Army!" Princess nodded her head, feeling her ego grow as Ex engaged with his usual spiel. "In her youth, her highness has engaged in training that has tested her coordination and insight! On the battlefield she has outmaneuvered and predicted several attacks from her enemies that left them open for defeat! A game such as Musical Chairs is nothing compared to the rigorous heat of battle!"
"Isn't this speech similar to the last one?" Alpha couldn't help but think.
"See that, 664! There's no way I'm going to lose this one!" Princess proudly announces.
"Hmph! Let's see if you can keep up that confidence." 664 meets the challenge head-on.
"First! Let's explain the rules!" 665 held up a white board. She started drawing on it with a pretty pink marker. "The four of us will walk in a circle around the chairs as the music begins to play." She draws a nice-looking image of the four young girls walking in a circle. "When the music stops, we each must race towards a chair as quickly as possible." She erases the earlier drawing to replace it with an image of herself, 666, and Princess happily sitting in the three chairs. While 664 was crying off to the side.
"Wait! Why are you assuming I'd be the first one out?!" 664 yelled.
665 ignored her teammate to continue showing off her fantastic drawing skills. "We'll remove a chair after a person gets eliminated. When a victor has been decided, all of the losers must share a secret!"
"I see, so it's not just the Princess who would suffer a penalty for losing." Ex said.
"W-well, we want to be fair and all of that…" 664 rubbed her arm with an embarrassed look.
"Aw! That's really cool, 664!" Princess smiles brightly.
"S-shut up!" The short elf blushed brightly and stomped over to the chairs. "Let's just start the game!" When all four girls were rotating around the chairs, Alpha started the music by pressing the 'play' button on the music player.
Hey, hey, hey!
An unexpected encounter
It feels like we can do anything
Because we're completely opposite!
Princess fought against her instincts to vibe to the music, relying completely on her experiences as the Captain of the Legion's Third Imperial Army. She eyed her competition and could feel that they were focusing as well on which chair to steal first.
No one has come yet to-
664 moved for the chair in front of her, her speed that she's honed since Shadow Garden would carry her to victory on this day. However, she would be tasting defeat instead as the ground below her shook violently. A gasp escaped her mouth when a long blinding wave of yellow slapped her across the face like a whip, blasting her back into the walls of the cell at an untraceable velocity. 664 coughed harshly from the recoil and slumped against the cell's cold floor.
"Phew! Made it!" Princess wiped the sweat from her brow. She relaxed in her seat until she realized that it had gotten very quiet within the cell. Princess turned around to see everyone giving her wide stares. "What?"
"Umm…Princess?"
"Yeah, Ex?"
"Look over here."
Princess looked in the direction of her sword and winced at the sight of the unconscious 664. "Yikes! What happened to 664?!"
"You happened, Princess…"
Alpha pinched the bridge of her nose. She had seen everything that had happened within the split second of the music stopping. In her own haste to not lose the Princess had stomped down into the floor with everything she had, blasting herself at speeds comparable to the Seven Shades themselves. Her hair had turned into a deadly weapon that whipped the poor number across the cell like a ragdoll. It was all an accident, of course, so she couldn't get mad at the Princess for what happened. Who knew supervising a children's game could get this troublesome?
"S-should we do something about that?" Princess was about to approach, but 665 stopped her with a hand to her shoulder.
"Worry not, Princess! Our dutiful team leader would much rather we continue the mission to get you to submit than waste it on her injuries!" 665 declared.
666 had extreme doubts about that.
Princess hummed a bit before smiling. "Well, if you're certain about it, then let's continue!"
"Wow, your concern lasted for a total of five seconds."
Ignoring her sword once again, the Princess pumped her fist into the air. "C'mon! I'm totally going to win this time!"
The Princess lost in the second round.
The Princess talked.
"I see, so the kingdom's blacksmiths all find their materials in these locations." Alpha accepted the secret. The outcome of the game went about as she expected somewhat, with 666 winning in the end.
"And I always tend to use 664 and 666's shampoo whenever mine runs out." 665 revealed her own secret. 666 stared at the busty elf, her hidden face did little to hide the obvious distaste for the revealed secret. 665 waved it off with a teasing smile. "It's okay, I'll be sure to buy you both some more the next time we visit a town."
"What about 664? Shouldn't she give a secret too?" Princess pointed at the unconscious short elf who still hadn't woken up. 666 walked over and carefully picked her up bridal style. The elf's face contorted slightly as she felt the larger boobs pressing against her.
"It's fine, I technically told one of her secrets before…buuut I guess that still wouldn't be fair to you, Princess." 665 said.
"Maybe something about Shadow Gar-"
"Oh! I can tell you that she enjoys playing with rubber duckies whenever she takes a bath!" 665 exclaims. "It's cute when you hear all of the little pretend noises she makes!"
"Why do you know that information-" Ex was promptly interrupted by the Princess jumping up with glee.
"Really?! I also really love imagining my own adventures whenever I'm in the bath!" Princess exclaims.
"Then how about the four of us visit the baths together next time to have our own imaginary adventures?" 665 suggests. 666 was nodding her head, clearly liking the sound of the idea. "As long as Lady Alpha doesn't mind?"
"It's fine. As long as it's when you three don't have a mission to complete or during a torture." Alpha said.
"YAY!" The three girls hugged one another tightly, squishing 664's face between their larger chests. She groaned a bit as if she could feel their overwhelming excitement giving her headaches in the future.
Chapter End
