AN: Happy 7th Anniversary everyone, I hope you got what you wanted from the GSSRs and the Destiny Bond Summons. I didn't get Moriarty Ruler, but I did get Xu Fu and Arcueid in one pull. For those who didn't get her, I wish you all luck. For those who want Harry to see Solomon, I figured with that event that'll need something special. So it'll be the final dream before facing Cagliostro.
Ch 84 Slipping into the Unknown
The Night has passed, and Remus groans as he sits up. "Ugh…what happene-oh, yesterday was the Full Moon," Remus said, recalling what happened the Day prior. His eyes widen, looking down at himself.
Gazing down, the Werewolf realized he was stark naked. Remus started to scan his area for any remains of his clothing or any scrap of fabric to cover his private parts.
"Clothes, clothes…where are my clothes-" Remus pauses his search, hearing a low growl behind him. He slowly turned his Head to where he could hear the growling.
Once his Head fully turned, he saw a large Blue Wolf standing behind him. His fur was like blue Flames dancing in the air, his Paws had remnants of chains. His eyes were filled with Flames of Vengeance, angry and searching for retribution for his misdeeds.
However, that wasn't the most frightening in the room. Standing next to the Big Wolf was a Headless Man, approaching him as he grabbed his coat.
"A-A Dullahan!? W-What's an Apparition doing in a place like this!?" Remus asked, trying to find many reasons why there was one here.
The Headless Man stood before the Werewolf, casting his coat over his naked Body.
Remus was shocked by the sudden gesture made by the Dullahan. He saw the Servant giving a thumbs up to him, asking if it was alright with him. "Um…thank you?"
Hessian gave two thumbs up to the Werewolf while Lobo huffed Blue Flames.
"Uncle Remus, I see you've transformed back," Remus heard the door open, revealing Ritsuka with Loli Da Vinci and Sion.
Remus stood up, holding the Coat over his Body to shield his Family Jewels from the Females. "Y-Yeah, um, did I do anything that might've…hurt anyone here?" He asked, wanting to make sure his Werewolf form didn't cause trouble.
Da Vinci smiled, looking at the auburn Wizard. "Not at all, Mr. Lupin. Your Werewolf form has been docile since we have many Canine-type Servants ensuring you are safe." The Rider explains, giving some reassurance to him. "Especially when it comes to Lobo here, the amount of respect you had for him is interesting."
"Lobo?" Remus questions on who that is.
"Lobo, that's the Wolf King who's been keeping an eye on you during the Night." Sion points to the other Half of the Avenger, Hessian Lobo. "It must be because of his Legend being a Pack Leader of Wolves,"
Remus could only nod at what the Chaldeans and his Nephew were saying. He may know about a lot of things, however there are some things he's not aware of, such as Lobo the Wolf King from Lobo the King of Currumpaw.
Hessian was well known for being a Dullahan and being one of America's famous Folklore, the Legend of Sleepy Hallow.
"So a Dullahan riding a Legendary Wolf is a Servant…" Remus sighs, shaking his Head. "I think I understand why Sirius was so shocked. Anything goes here, right Ritsuka?" He asked.
"Pretty much," Da Vinci answered asRitsuka looked at Hessian Lobo, thanking them for watching over him.
"Thanks for keeping an eye on Uncle Remus, Hessian, Lobo. You can go back to whatever you were doing." Ritsuka said, relieving the Avenger of his duty.
Lobo merely gave a low growl as Hessian gave a super thumbs up. The Headless Man and the Wolf King walked out of the room and into the Halls of the Wandering Sea,
Ritsuka turns back to his Uncle, standing before them. "Anyways, let's get some clothes for you. Considering that we're in the North Sea, you might get hypothermia." The Magus informed the auburn-haired Wizard.
"I'd appreciate it, Ritsuka." Remus smiled, grateful for his help.
Suddenly, Loli Da Vinci grabs hold of the Werewolf's arm, dragging him to the door. "Don't worry, good ol' Da Vinci-chan has an entire closet filled with clothing that was meant for Fujimaru-kun's Mystic Codes." The Rider said with a bright smile.
Remus gave a light chuckle, still not used to this amount of kindness from anyone.
Ritsuka watches as Loli Da Vinci leaves with his Uncle. "So, that went better than I initially thought we would have a fight of some kind, but it turns out that Lobo can earn the respect of Lycanthropes." The violet-haired Alchemist commented, adjusting her glasses. "We've learned a lot from this experience."
"Yeah, I better tell Otou-san how well Uncle Remus did last Night," Ritsuka said, walking out of the Room they kept Remus when he transformed.
"You should, the last time I saw your Father; he looked worried for Mr. Lupin," Sion explains to the director of Chaldea.
The black-haired Magus nodded, hearing what Chaldea's closest Ally said. "Gotcha, I'll look for him, Sion. Thanks for your help again," Ritsuka thanked the Alchemist for her work with Remus.
Sion shrugs, answering the master of Chaldea. "Don't mention it, Ritsuka. This is a good opportunity to Study the Human/Lycanthrope Transformation." The Alchemist said, taking the situation as a chance to understand the Modern Werewolves.
The two Chaldeans exited the Room, heading into the Hallway. They separated to do their duties around the Wandering Sea,
Within the Cafeteria, Sirius was standing at the Coffee Machine. Fortunately, he had known how to use a Coffee Machine from the time he was in Fuyuki. "I'm surprised that you know how to operate a Coffee Machine, Sirius."
The shaggy-haired Wizard flinched, turning around, and saw Merlin standing beside him and attending to the other Coffee Machine. "L-Lord M-Merlin, I-I didn't know you like Coffee," Sirius said to the Magus of Flowers. "I-I mean you probably know about the Modern Day thanks to my Son." He said, still nervous around the Wizarding World's most famous Wizard in the Wizarding Community.
Merlin chuckles, taking the Coffee from the Machine. "On the contrary, my Friend. I'm well-informed about the Modern Age." The Grand Caster said, pointing to his pink eyes. "You see, my Body is trapped in the Garden of Avalon. The only thing I could do was watch over the World with my Clairvoyance." He smiled,
"Y-Yes, the Story goes that you got trapped by Viviane, the Lady of the Lake. But I don't get why?" Sirius asked, conversing with Merlin.
"Oh yes, Viviane or Vivian was difficult to explain. Let's see, how to put it…" Merlin smiled, thinking the best way to put it. "I think it's best to say, that me being Half Incubus and a Womanizer can be a bit troublesome. Regardless, I don't regret what I did in the Past." The Grand Caster said, taking a sip from his cup.
"With my Abilities and my connection with your Son, I can project myself here in Chaldea where I can help out when needed." The white-haired Magus said,
Sirius took a sip of his own cup before looking at the Magus of Flowers. "How exactly do you know Ritsuka, L-Lor- I mean Merlin."
Merlin chuckles, "I've been watching Fujimaru for the longest time. From the moment he was a Fledgling in Singularity F to the moment he rebuilt Chaldea." The white-haired Caster said, looking happy at the thought of his master. "The Journey he and Mashu were on, was entertaining. I was on the edge of my seat for the whole time, and when I finally got to meet and journey with him, I must say…he's filled with unexpectedness that I like."
"That goes for my other Version of myself. Fujimaru is a unique Human," Merlin said, speaking the World of Sirius's Son. "Even now, I could see that uniqueness in Harry as well. Fujimaru's raising him right."
Sirius couldn't help but feel proud of his Son, earning the respect of Merlin himself. Any Wizard would want that, but can't. "You know, I wasn't sure how to bring this up." He said to her Caster. "I want a chance to speak to Ritsuka about something important, but didn't have the time."
"Well, I think I can help with that," Merlin commented, causing the Wizard to look at him. " You're aware I'm teaching Harry Magecraft. It's been a while since I used those Spells you use for your Magic, I could use an Assistant."
The shaggy-haired Wizard raises a brow, "How exactly will that help me talk to my Son?" He asked.
Merlin grins, dramatically flipping his robe. "Simple, Fujimaru is going to check on Harry's progress in his Education. That's where you have your chance."
Sirius couldn't believe what he was hearing. If it gives him the chance to speak to Ritsuka about the topic he wants to discuss, then this is it. "Alright, I'll help."
"Then it's a deal," Merlin shook the Wizard's hand, smiling at him.
The Day has come, Sion was ready with her Class after taking care of the prep work for the arrival of the director of the Mages Association.
Harry sat down at a table in Da Vinci's Wandering Sea Workshop. In his hand was a paintbrush, however, he's yet to draw or paint anything.
He was distracted, not from his Studies, but from the Dreams he was having. He blinks a few times before looking up.
Flashing before him was a Wintery Landscape where an endless Blizzard is the norm. Harry looks around, seeing he is surrounded by Anthropomorphic Wolves, holding Rifles aiming for him.
"I won't forgive you!" Harry/Ritsuka felt someone grabbing his collar, and yelling at him.
Looking down, Harry saw a Wolfman all bloody with Gunshot wounds on his Body. He was scared, not by the Wolfman, but by how this Wolfman was shot. "I'll never forgive you for as long as I live. You know why?" The Wolfman spoke,
"Because thanks to you, I now know there's another, happier World out there." The Wolfman spoke, practically scolding him.
Harry gasps, shaking his Head at the sudden vision head of his Dream. He then flutter his eyes, seeing another Vision,
"Mr. Envoy, don't worry. It's natural for us to be squished by the Giants." A small blonde Girl with green eyes said to him.
Harry/Ritsuka looks around, seeing Giants standing tall around him. There were People, being squished by the Giants, all accepting their Fate. "After all, this is the way of Life. This is how the Goddess loves us."
They look above, seeing a Firey Giant with Horns glare down at him. She turns to him with an innocent smile. "We can go to Valhalla together, Mr. Envoy-"
"Tch, they manage to manifest in the waking World." Count of Monte Cristo said, creating Flames to shield Harry's mental scape.
The Flames were a mix of Blue and Violet, countering the Flames of Surtur. "C-Count-"
The Count of Monte Cristo looks down at Harry, looking at him with shock. "Don't pay mind to this, it seems we've underestimated the Trauma master has within him." The Avenger said, "You somehow slipped deeper into your mind without realizing."
"W-Wait, I'm in my mind right now?" Harry asked, slowly seeing he was in a dark Stairwell, dimly lit by Flames.
"You aren't fully prepared to utilize your Id," The grey-hair Avenger said, seeing Harry has still more to learn before entering the mind. "In the meantime, please endure the Trauma for a little longer. We'll try to ensure that the Trauma doesn't escape our sights."
Harry shook his Head before hearing Sanson using a giant Sword with the appearance of a Guillotine to slash what seemed to be Blue Flames shaped like Claws,
Coming from behind, Jekyll came running into the fray. He slashed across a Flamed Claw before slashing at another. From the looks of it, he seems to be holding back for some reason.
A Flamed Claw was thrown back against the Wall before disappearing. The one who punched it was none other than Soujuurou Shizuki,
Soujuurou had a stern expression, his fist was smoking but he ignored it. Instead, he flips his Body around as he moves his limbs to hold the Flamed Claw down forcibly.
Doing so allowed Fionn to use his Water Attacks to douse the Flames, extinguishing them in the Berserker's arms.
Zhou Yu leaps down from the top of the Stairwell, he pulls back the string of his Bow. The Archer released many Flaming Arrows, piercing through the Flames.
Tentacles burst from the side, revealing Abby wearing a black dress and black and orange ribbons around her. She has two large black Keys, commanding the Tentacles to dispel the Flames.
He landed, dismissing his Bow for his Lance. Zhou Yu spun his Lance, deflecting the Claw Flames that came for him.
"This Battle is not for you to see, young master." The Count of Monte Cristo stated, he turned around and looked up. "It's time for you to go, you won't remember this encounter. I'll make sure of that, for now…Assassin!"
Harry was about to speak when a new face leaps down from the top. He has blonde hair and wore a white shirt, red vest, and black pants. "Yo, you called Avenger?" The Assassin asked.
"It's you, I saw you before," Harry said, looking at what he presumed was a Counter Force Servant. But the question remains, why is a Counter Force Servant in his mind?
"Ah, so you saw me when I was trying to get free your Id from whatever that thing was." The Assassin said, explaining what he was trying to do prior.
"Assassin," Count of Monte Cristo raised his voice against the Counter Force Servant.
The blonde Assassin bonked his Head, flinching at the Avenger's voice. "Right, right sorry." He looks at Harry, dashing forward to grab him.
"GAH!" The Heir of Chaldea exclaims at the sudden motion,
Count of Monte Cristo raises his Sword, jumping higher than the blonde Servant and Harry. He slashed at the Wall, tearing through the Mental Landscape.
The Avenger watches as the two escape from Harry's Mindscape. "Good, they made it out."
"Are you sure it is wise to let the Counter Force Servant go with the young master?" Henry Jekyll asked the Count of Monte Cristo.
"I'm sure, he's not ready to face the Count of Despair." The Avenger said, turning to the Stairwell they were on. "For now, we'll exterminate and cleanse the area of the Trauma that master endured all these years."
Jekyll sighs, looking at the state of the young master's mind. "To think the Count would do this to the to the young master. This must be what master mind was like in the Id Singularity." The Assassin stated,
"Jekyll, let's continue clearing this level. We must not let any remain here." The Count said, going back to ridding the Trauma the Count of Despair placed in Harry's Mind.
With a bright light, Harry gasped, seeing he was in the Medical Bey's many Beds. "W-What just-"
"Harry-kun, you're awake!" The young Heir of Chaldea looks to the side, seeing his Mother standing beside his bedside. "When Van Gogh-san and Da Vinci-chan say you weren't responding to them and were staring at nothing, they came looking for your Father and me," Mashu explains to her Son,
"Fou, Fou," Fou leaps off from Mashu's shoulders and onto Harry's.
Harry giggled, seeing his little Companion snuggled against his cheeks. "I see you were worried Fou," He said, scratching the Beast's chin. "But I'm fine now,"
"Fou," The Beast said, sensing the young Boy was indeed fine.
"Um…is he alright, Mashu?" The three look behind the curtains, seeing a shy auburn-haired Girl wearing blue overalls with a floral black shirt. She has orange stripped leggings with two patches of Sunflowers. In her hands was a Paintbrush shaped like a Sunflower.
"W-We were just painting with Hokusai and D-Da Vinci when he just stopped." The Foreigner Van Gogh said to the Assistant director of Chaldea.
The violet-haired Woman smiled at the Artist, worried for her Son's Health. "Harry-kun's just fine, Van Gogh-san," Mashu said, turning to the young Boy in Bed.
Van Gogh gave a sigh of relief hearing that Harry was alright. "Oh, that's good to hear…um…" The Foreigner's attitude suddenly shifted, realizing that she was now talking to the next master of Chaldea.
Mashu looks at her Son, introducing him to the Servant. "Harry-kun, this is Van Gogh, a Foreigner Class Servant. You probably know her by Vincent Van Gogh, the famous Artist who painted the Starry Night." The former Demi-Servant introduced the Foreigner to Harry.
The black-haired Boy looked at the Painter, surprised that this shy Girl was the famous Vincent Van Gogh. "Y-You're Vincent Van Gogh?" Harry asked, wanting to make sure with her.
"Y-Yeah, I-I am. I'm about Five Percent Vincent Van Gogh and Eighty Percent of the Greek Nymph, Clytie…heh if you can't tell by the Sunflower…heh, heh." Van Gogh blushes, shyly smiling at the young Boy.
"Clytie, a Water Nymph in Greek Mythology who fell in love with the Greek God of the Sun, Apollo. She became jealous of Leucothea, the daughter of Orcamos, the King of Persia." Harry said, knowing the Story of the Nymph. "She became a Sunflower after staring at the Sun hoping to receive Apollo's love but never receiving it." The young Boy said,
Van Gogh blushed brightly at how her master's Son's knowledge. "T-That's right…hehehe…I didn't expect you to know about that part of me." The auburn Foreigner said,
"I-I read a lot of Greek Mythology before. Even the small Stories that some People have read," Harry said, smiling at the Foreigner.
"Now that's impressive. I must say, I never met a Child such as yourself to be knowledgeable." Everyone looks at the new voice entering the Medical Bey. Walking inside the Room was Count Cagliostro with a false smile.
"Count Cagliostro…w-welcome…" Van Gogh greeted the Representative of their master,
"Lady Van Gogh, good to see you." Cagliostro greeted the Famous Painter.
Mashu smiled, greeting the Servant who loyally served her Husband. "Count Cagliostro, what are you doing here? I mean it's not that you're not welcomed, but-"
The grey-haired Pretender smiled at the Wife of his master, "It's unexpected? I understand, Lady." Cagliostro said, turning his eyes to the young master. "I merely want to check up on the young master after hearing he has been admitted to the Medical Bey. Tell me, master Harrison how are you?" The Pretender asked,
Harry flinched, answering the Apostle. "I-I'm doing good, Count. Though I do feel that I'm missing something in my memories." The young Boy said,
"Memories you say?" The Count ponders before smiling, "I see, then I have to speak to Dream-related Servants to rectify this issue."
"Um…" Everyone looks at Harry, trying to speak to them. "If you don't mind, but where is Dad?" Harry asked the People gathered around him.
"Fou, Fou,"
Mashu smiled, answering her Son's simple question. "Your Father is greeting the director of the Clocktower; Lorelei Barthomeloi and her entourage of Mages at the Docking Bey." She explains to the Heir of Chaldea. "He may be busy at the moment."
Harry nodded, having an idea what type of People the Mages are from his short time at the Mages Association. "I see…wait, if the director of the Mages Association's here then shouldn't we greet them as well?" He asked the People.
"With your condition, I believe you should take the opportunity to rest," Cagliostro spoke, placing his hands behind his back. "The talks with your Father and the Association are something a Child such as yourself isn't ready for yet." He said, explaining things to him.
Docking Bay
At the Docking Bay, Ritsuka stood at the edge of the Docks. Standing behind him were Holmes, Koyanskaya, and Nemo.
Walking down from the Boat, Lorelei made her way down to greet the director of Chaldea. She and the rest of the Mages stood before Ritsuka, "Director Fujimaru, I see you're doing well,"
"Hello, Lorelei. Still stiff as ever, I see." Ritsuka smiled at the director of the Clocktower.
Lorelei scoffs at Ritsuka's lack of proper manners. Regardless, no matter how many times he was told, he still had that causality to him. "Still have that lack of Authority with you. Oh well, regardless of this visit of the ownership of the Wandering Sea, I have brought some news regarding the Wizarding Community."
"News? What sort of news we're talking about?" Koyanskaya asked the Head of the Barthomeloi Family.
One of the Mages who has ties within the Ministry of Magic spoke, "The Minister of Magic has been hiding this from Public Eyes. Only those closest to the Minister are informed of the situation, me included." She spoke to Humanity's final master.
"Pre tell, what exactly the Minister is withholding from the Wizarding Community?" Holmes asked, getting curious about what Fudge was hiding.
The Magus looked at Lorelei who nodded to relay the information to the Chaldeans. Ritsuka waited for the information before she spoke. "There's been reports of Wizards and Witches' being transported to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries all sharing the same ailment."
"They've all been drained of their Magic, the only physical injury they can find were bite marks." The Magus informed the Chaldean master, "These bite marks are too familiar, they were made by a Dead Apostle Ancestor." She said, causing everyone to freeze upon hearing the news.
"…Let's take this somewhere more private, don't you agree Lorelei?" Ritsuka looked at his fellow Magus,
"Indeed, let's." Lorelei and the others agreed with the idea, heading to a more private area to speak.
